We are very happy to offer this commemorative service in Las Vegas marking a thousand days since True Father’s ascension in attendance of our Heavenly Parent. Blessed families around the world that are remembering this moment, are you happy?

When we move into a new home, we need a lot of time to adjust to it. Only then can we say, “Ah, this is my new home!” and truly feel it in our minds and bodies. Today, as we offer this commemorative service, have you thought about how much our Heavenly Parent and True Father have awaited and prepared for this moment?

Truly, our Heavenly Parent, who has worked until now for the providential history of restoration through indemnity, has been lonely. God, who has to be the omniscient and omnipotent king of kings, has been lonely.

Why is that? He lost his beloved children. Can there be a king without citizens?

Liberate your ancestors and humanity

As we commemorate a thousand days since True Father’s ascension, remember that you must liberate your ancestors in the spirit world. True Father spoke of this. What did he mean when he said to liberate 210 generations of your ancestors? The spirit world has formed during the long, long period of six thousand years since the Fall, as indicated in the Bible. Your ancestors there have no connection to God. They do not know God’s will.

However, do you that have received the blessing from True Parents understand the providence? You must liberate and bless your ancestors and change them into good spirits. You and all tribal messiahs must take on this responsibility today. Therefore, you must expand the environmental realm of the spiritual world. This means that our Heavenly Parent’s and True Parents’ people must increase.

By fulfilling your responsibility, you who are on earth will be able to carry out Father’s providential work more enthusiastically around the world.

Seven billion people do not know True Parents’ or God’s will. Shouldn’t we open the way to life and the way to hope to them? Increasingly, it is like this all around the world. Natural disasters!

True Mother presented awards to many early members of our movement

The earthquake in Nepal was a huge tragedy. Is America safe? It is the same here. There are many natural disasters. How are we going to settle this? If you live selfishly, concerned about your life alone, do you think you will live comfortably in the spirit world?

God created heaven and earth with a great dream and wished to become the true parent through human beings. However, Adam and Eve shattered that dream. Our history attached to the Fall has lasted six thousand years. Yet, because the beginning and the end must be the same, God could not abandon us.

God’s history of salvation and of the restoration of human beings has been such a sorrowful one. You do not know how hard it was to find and establish one person in a position to take responsibility.

God spent a long tortuous history of four thousand years to establish the individual, family, tribe and people and said he would send the Messiah through the Jewish people. However, what happened? The existence of the Messiah never came to light. As he was dying on the cross, he said he would come again. What did he say he would do when he came again? He said he would hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. This means that he would marry. If he is to be married, doesn’t he need a partner?

Therefore, you must know clearly that the two-thousand-year Christian history was the providential history to find the only begotten daughter of God. You know this through the Divine Principle, but if the person, tribe or people do not take responsibility when he uses them, he will not use them again. We know this well through the Bible. We also know that people or groups absolutely must go through the process of indemnity.

God spent a long time preparing the Korean peninsula in the East. Through the European continent and Great Britain centered on Italy, the two thousand-year Christian history brought the Christian culture to blossom in places. One of these is the continent of North America. In light of that, what should you do in order for this continent to take responsibility?

You must live your lives not thinking of yourselves but living for the sake of the whole. That is why Heaven blessed this nation. Yet it is not going in this direction.

True Father sacrificed himself

When this happened, True Father shed blood, sweat and tears for over forty years in order to establish America as a nation that can take responsibility.

In front of your parents, you are children. Yet, how much have you lived as filial sons or daughters? You must reflect deeply and repent. Providential history was centered on the North American continent, moved to the Pacific sphere civilization and then to Asia. God chose an island nation, Japan, as the Eve nation and established the Korean peninsula as the homeland of faith, God’s homeland. The history of God’s providence has been painful.

How many people know God’s providence in this year when we have the seventieth anniversary of the end of World War II, of the liberation of Korea, and of the founding of the UN? The founding of the UN resulted from God’s providential history to save True Father, the only begotten son of God. That was the time when Father worked for the providence in North Korea. For that, the Communist Party sent him to prison. In prison at Hungnam, at the point when he was to have been executed the next day, UN soldiers liberated him.

Right after World War II, both the vast countries of China and the Soviet Union were communist. If God had not worked through America, representing the democratic world alone, the UN would not have been able to dispatch soldiers from sixteen countries to fight in the Korean War. If True Father had not completed and concluded the providential work, God would not have regained his complete freedom.

Because of Father’s need to complete the providential work, God stopped the Soviet delegate from vetoing the motion and sixteen UN nations were able to take part in the Korean War.

I do not want to talk about political things. However, I hope that America will take responsibility until the end. You must take responsibility for this. God will be victorious in his providence.

Thus, the blessed families throughout world must ride the central mainstream and go confidently out to the world.

Hope for the future of the earth, the future of humankind, comes only through True Parents. Since the Fall, numerous people have been born and numerous countries formed, but do they perceive of America as the leader? Do they listen to the UN?

From their perspective, you are brother nations. Hence, you must take care that in the center, True Parents are the only path to solving all the practical, difficult problems.

Moreover, when America fulfills all its responsibilities as the eldest son in light of the providence, the united world -- the world of one family that human beings hope for and God desires -- will be achieved. Can you be determined and resolve to become those that will together pull this day closer? Today, in this moment, as True Father is looking upon you with a joyful heart, I ask you to take responsibility and strive to the fullest to achieve one world centered on our Heavenly Parent without fail.

In attendance to Heavenly Parent and also to celebrate the 1000 day memorial of the ascension of True Father we have gathered here in Las Vegas on this special day. We are so lucky and happy to be here today from all over the world; at this moment many Unificationists are remembering that special day. All Blessed Families, are you happy to be here with us?

When we move to a new house, in order to adapt to the new house, we need a lot of time to adapt to the new surroundings and that’s how we feel today; this new home is our home, in our hearts and bodies. Today is the 1000 day memorial. It is a special service of Jeongseong (devotional offering) for True Father’s ascension memorial. Of course, when you think about it, you realize how much Heavenly Parent and True Father have yearned and prepared for this very moment. Have you thought about it?

Expanding the Sphere of Goodness

Until now, the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity has been carried out by the Heavenly Parent. The Heavenly Parent is omnipotent and omniscience. He needs to be welcomed and attended by humanity as a king of kings, however, He has been lonely. why is that? Because His beloved children fell. Can you speak of a king without the people? Yes or no? So as we celebrating the 1000 day memorial of True Father I really hope that all of you will be able to liberate your ancestors in the spirit world. True Father has mentioned that you need to liberate 210 generations. So what is the meaning of Father’s words?

We need to liberate up to 420 generations of our ancestors. The spirit world has, until this point, followed the fall. It has taken 6000 biblical years to get to this moment. What a long period of time. The spirit world is filled with fallen history. The fallen people do not know God’s Providence, but thanks to the True Parents we have received the Marriage Blessing and as Blessed Families, are you aware of the providence or are you ignorant of the providence? If you are aware of it, my hope then is that all of you can liberate all your ancestors and lead them to the Marriage Blessing and I hope you can accomplish this mission of making your ancestors absolute good spirits.

This is the responsibility that you have been blessed with as Blessed Families. Do you understand? That is why we need to expand the good spiritual heavenly sphere and we do this by increasing the people who are on the side of God, the people who are living centered on True Parents. This is our blessing, our responsibility. Depending on whether we accomplish this responsibility or not, True Father can expand his influence all over the world and be more active around the world

Restoring God’s Dream

There are 7 billion people in the world who do not know True Parents, and to these people we need to show them the path to life, the path two love all over the world. More and more people are being born but we are also witnessing calamities that are more natural. For example, in Nepal, there was a really terrible disastrous earthquake, but also in the Philippines there was a great typhoon. In America we also had many natural disasters. When we see these things happening, how do we think about dealing with them? Are we going to be self-centered? Are we going to think about our personal lives, our personal families? Are we just going to put our comfort as our priority? Do you think that living such a life will lead you to an exalted position in the spirit world?

God had such a wonderful ideal when He created the universe. His wish was to realize His ideal through humanity. He expected human beings to become True Parents. However this wonderful dream by God was destroyed by Adam and Eve. Because of the fall of human beings, it took 6,000 years for the True Parents to appear, however despite this setback, heaven could not let go, not forsake humankind; the beginning and end must be the same. Therefore, when God created human beings He had an ideal, and therefore He carried out the providence of restoration.

The providence of restoration was so filled with pain and was so difficult that is was so painful to find one person who could be called God’s son. You have no idea how painful and difficult it was for heaven to raise that person going from the individual, the family, and the tribe and to the nation. In order to raise the national foundation, heaven had to suffer through 4000 years of painful biblical history. Heaven underwent this painful history and heaven tried to work through the chosen people and God sent His begotten son to that people; however, what happened? The messiah could not be recognized around the world; instead he was crucified on the cross and promised to come again. And when he comes again, what will he accomplish? He would host the Marriage of the Lamb. That means that the Messiah wanted to hold the holy marriage, and in order to have this marriage you need a partner. That’s why when we look at the 2000 year history of Christianity, it’s been a history to find the only begotten daughter of God. You need to be clearly aware of this.

America’s Blessing

Dear brothers and sisters, as you know from Divine Principle, whether it’s the individual, tribe, or nation, if heaven grants a mission to a person and the person fails in his responsibility that person is not used anymore. We know this very well from the Bible, and we also know that when heaven does works, it does so through indemnity. For a long time in history heaven has worked in the orient and prepared the Korean peninsula. When we look at the 2000 years of Christianity, it began in the Italian peninsula, expanded through the European continent, went to the island of England, it flourished in the European continent and among these people and we can see that American history traces its roots back to this continent. Isn’t that true? When we look at the American continent, it is blessed with this responsibility. What is that responsibility?

It is not for America to live for it’s own sake but to live for the sake of the world, of others, that is why God blessed this nation of America; however, America has had many challenges in fulfilling this responsibility. That is why True Father came to the American continent and really worked to help America to fulfill this heavenly responsibility. For 40 years True Father invested his blood, sweat, and tears in America.

All of you are the children standing before the True Parents. When you look at your personal lives how exemplary life of filial piety have you lead? We need to repent for our shortcomings. When we look at the history of the providence, the providence has worked through the American continent and it has expanded across the pacific civilization back to Pacific Rim and on to Asia through japan, which is the Eve nation, an island nation. Heaven selected Japan and after that the Korean peninsula, which was selected as the fatherland of faith, as the fatherland of God. Heaven prepared these nations through the history of the providence, however this history of the providence was filled with pain and suffering. This is the 70th anniversary of Korea’s independence. It is also the 70th anniversary of the founding of the UN. This is the year of the 70th anniversary. Think about it, how many people are aware at this moment of heaven’s providence? The UN was founded for the mission of welcoming and testifying about the only begotten son of heaven, True Father. This was heaven’s plan for the UN. At that time, True Father launched the history of the providence and he went back to North Korea, facing difficulties. He risked his life and was even imprisoned in North Korea. He went to Heungnam Prison. He was liberated the day before he was scheduled to be executed. The UN liberated him following the WWll.

So at that time China was a great communist nation and America represented the democratic world by itself. If heaven had not worked this miracle at that time, the 16 nations of the UN could not have come to the rescue of Korea after the WWll. When we look at the providence of restoration and True Father, True Father had the mission of completing and perfecting the entire history of the providence. Unless True Father did that, God could not be liberated.

I do not want to make any political statement however I believe that America had the responsibility to preserve Korea as one united Korea. Korea should not have been divided. I believe this is another mission America has been blessed with.

Fulfilling Your Blessed Responsibility

When we look at heaven’s history in the providence, heaven is always victorious in the end. That is why all the blessed families around the world at this moment need to be at the mainstream of God’s providence. We need to be at the mainstream of the world with confidence and testify about the True Parents to the world. We need to reveal that True Parents are on this earth, and centering on True Parents the history of the providence is taking place. That is how humanity and this world can be saved; that is how this world, that is how the future of this earth, that is how the future of humanity can be connected with True Parents and we can have hope for this entire universe. Do you agree with me?

Following the human fall so many peoples and civilizations have been formed; however, among all these nations, do you think any country compares to America? Do you think that these nations listen to the UN? In one way, all the nations of the world are brotherly nations and at the center we need to have the True Parents who can unite all these brothers, all these nations, and when True Parents stand at the center they can solve all the world’s problems. We need to be aware of this. Furthermore, America stands at the forefront of the providence. It is the elder nation, it is the eldest son, and when America fulfills its God-given responsibility all of the world, all of humanity can unite and in so doing, we can have one united world centering on Heavenly Parent. It can become One Family Under God. This will take place without fail.

To bring this day forward I hope that we will all work together. We can all resolve to do this. So will you do is?

Today is a special day. True Father is here with us, and he is looking at all of you with a very happy heart and he is wishing all of you can fulfill your blessed responsibility and will, without fail, be centered on Heavenly Parent and together realize one world centering on Heavenly Parent. Good morning. What a glorious day!!

I believe True Father’s grace and love is shining upon us all today! Thank you True Parents and we love you.

Dear respected elders. Beloved brothers and sisters. We gather today absolutely centered on our Heavenly Parent and our Beloved True Parents.

Thank you very much for joining this special program here at the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas.

True Parents have invested their unconditional love, sincere devotion, absolute faith, and entire beings into this city, in hopes that it could be transformed into a heavenly, “shining city.” This magnificent IPEC is a testament to their vision and their hope for America. May it be a beacon of light and revival for the whole world, fulfilling the eternal yearnings of our Heavenly Parent for this country, which Heavenly Parent and True Parents blessed!

Today we honor True Parents’ eternal legacy, and your blessed legacy centered on True Parents.

I am deeply moved and honored to be here with you today.

This program commemorates 1000 days since our True Father’s ascension. Therefore, we gather at this time in honor of our beloved True Father, our hearts filled with the deepest respect, appreciation and love.

Since True Father’s ascension, nearly three years ago, we have been on a dramatic journey, with many challenges, internal and externally, both in our movement and in the wider society. It is as if the whole world was shaken by True Father’s passing. There have been unprecedented grumblings in the natural world that have resulted from humanity’s lack of care and attendance to Mother Nature, and our departure from our divine path. I know that each and every one of you has gone through some pain and suffering, perhaps even doubt, during this time.

Therefore, let us continually give our prayers, love, compassion, and support to all the members of our global family who have been affected by these various challenges. And, let us live our lives centered on the truth, honor our parents in heaven and on earth, and let us make sincere effort to serve and love the whole human family.

Even though we may face an uphill climb, let us all work together to help one another not only to persevere, but to emerge victorious.

Sometimes the challenges of life can seem almost too much to bear. However, if we reflect on the power of love, faith, benevolence, and goodness, we open up to the light. We begin to appreciate heroes among us who, by their example, their vision and their words, show us the way out of the darkness and lead us to the light. They give us hope.

There has been a person in my life who has always inspired me, even in the darkest times; someone who has an unwavering will, a global consciousness, fearless determination, absolute love, and selfless devotion for the sake of humankind. She is my mother and known to one and all as our True Mother. There is no other person on this earth who can match our True Father’s example. Together they are our completed, eternal True Parents.

Despite losing her husband of 52 years, and the father to their 14 children; despite being now in this physical world without the irreplaceable half that makes her whole; and despite losing her one and only true love, True Mother never stops to focus on, or complain about, her own difficulties. On the contrary, she always looks to ease the pain of others, giving out love and hope, and calling us all to embrace the victorious future of “Vision 2020”, Cheon Il Guk, and one family under our Heavenly Parent.

As you know, True Mother has returned from a tour in Europe, honoring 50 years of the Unification Movement, and from a visit to New York. You have seen the reports, but let me say that the unanimous and heartfelt outpouring of love and support for True Mother from European and American brothers and sisters and the “next generations” was profoundly moving, especially from members of the “Cranes Club,” and even from the Ambassadors for Peace who attended True Mother’s speech at the UN Headquarters in Vienna.

I could share many inspiring testimonies about True Mother’s tour, but it would take many hours. And, in any case, this morning I want to try to convey more of the essence of True Mother’s significance and value for our lives.

This is a daunting task.

How does one even begin?

Never in the history of humankind has there ever been a more beautiful, loving, gracious, and compassionate being on earth. True Father has said on many occasions how True Mother’s eternal beauty resides in her loving, faithful and generous heart. He often proudly and lovingly praised her for her grace, her kindness, and her stunning feminine beauty that has brought so much joy to us all.

When I reflect on women throughout history, there is no one who compares with True Mother when it comes to internal and external character. She is without peer. Some may point to Helen of Troy whose mythic beauty caused men to lust and fight. However, if that is the standard for beauty, then it is a sad role model.

True Mother is far removed from such a worldly standard. She sets a standard for true and eternal beauty, as the embodiment of true love. Such true love has the capacity to melt the hearts of humankind, inspiring us to love one another and to work to build a world of peace, joy and prosperity for all of God’s children.

Apart from her physical beauty and elegance, True Mother’s internal value and significance are infinitely great. Thus, we stand here today in the presence of the greatest woman in the history of all humankind. We stand here together attending the absolute example of a true person, who has completed everything. She, in complete unity with our True Father, has given each one of us true love, true life and true lineage.

She absolutely attended True Father for more than 52 years with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. She is the only woman to ever completely fulfill the course of restoration for all womankind. She is absolutely and completely victorious. Together with our beloved True Father, she has liberated all of humankind to receive the Holy Blessing. They have opened up the path for all to achieve salvation and peace.

We stand today in the presence of our Heavenly Parent’s true daughter, a gift of grace, true love, and goodness. She is the absolute standard of a true filial daughter of our Heavenly Parent.

As you know, True Mother is my physical mother, and of course she is the physical mother of my 13 siblings. However, even more importantly, she is our True Mother and, in this respect, she is our source of salvation, our guiding light, our guru, and our queen. She leads us out of darkness, suffering and indemnity, to a world of everlasting peace, true love, and prosperity for all. Let us therefore emulate, honor, and uphold True Parents’ beautiful legacy as true filial sons and daughters of our True Parents.

True Mother taught me two Korean expressions that can lead us to true peace and joy. These are “Kamsahamnida” and “Saranghamnida.” As many of you know, they mean “thank you” and “I love you.” She said if there is anything we should teach future generations, it is to live their lives with this kind of grateful and loving heart. May we strive each day to cultivate such a heart!

I am eternally grateful to True Mother, and all of you here today celebrating this historic moment, and honoring True Father’s unchanging wish and hope for the United States to fulfill its providential responsibility.

Before I say more about True Mother I want to express my deep appreciation to each and every one of you. You, especially the elder members, have lived lives of faithful attendance to True Parents. You have followed in their footsteps and helped pave the way for us to stand today on this victorious foundation in the United States and the world. Even though you often faced prejudice, persecution and opposition you have been victorious, with absolute faith, love and obedience. I am eternally grateful and honored to be here together with you, and to be part of this tour with True Mother. I pray that our Heavenly Parent and our True Father may eternally bless you and your precious families.

Kamsahamnida and Saranghamnida!

I stand before you today with a feeling of deep gratitude and appreciation for our True Mother. Only when we understand our true origin, the beginning of all true life, can we inherit and carry out our duty as filial sons and daughters in honor of our True Parents. Therefore, we must know our true history of true love, true life and true lineage. We must become absolutely one with True Parents and with their sacred words, so that we never lose our way.

In preparing the three holy texts, True Mother distilled the pure essence from more than one thousand volumes of True Parents’ precious words. This is such a great blessing! In Cham Bumo Gyeong, we can directly be linked to the true voice and amalgamated biography of our complete and united True Parents. On that basis, we can sincerely learn from and emulate their complementary, balanced, and harmonious courses in life.

I would like to share, some of that amazing history with you. Please bear in mind this introduction to our True Mother is always bound together with True Father; as True Parents they can never be separated.

Our True Mother has lived her life with a clear vertical attendance to our Heavenly Parent. Her responsiveness to Heavenly Parent’s providential Will has been the constant thread that runs throughout her life. Prior to meeting our True Father, True Mother was nurtured and protected by Heaven. Her mother, Dae Mo Nim, raised True Mother as the only begotten daughter of God, and not simply as her physical daughter. Dae Mo Nim had received guidance from Heaven, telling her that True Mother was to be the bride of the messiah.

Heaven protected our True Mother during the perilous time of Japanese occupation and the rise of North Korean communism, culminating in the Korean War. So many times she could have been killed or prevented from going forward, but she remained under Heaven’s protection.

Then, miracle of miracles, she met True Father. Think about it. True Mother was just a young girl of 16. How could she, without Heaven’s providential guidance, have had the wisdom and maturity to enter into this relationship at such a young age? Furthermore, knowing True Father’s position, we cannot begin to imagine that his Blessing with True Mother was some coincidence; rather, she is our miracle of salvation. It was heavenly destiny and vertical duty that guided True Mother.

From 1960, True Mother lived day and night with True Father, for over 52 years. Can you imagine living one day with True Father? I heard from many leaders who told me that when Father visited their nation, they could never rest for a moment, and when he departed, they would collapse with exhaustion.

Just imagine True Mother’s situation, in attending True Father without any break over 52 years. When I asked True Mother how she survived and gracefully endured her history of indemnity, she said in her heart and in her soul she always knew her mission; it wasn’t taught to her by any elder. She knew her inner voice. It was Heavenly Parent’s voice and she completely followed it no matter what.

While writing this speech I came to understand more deeply that I am in the presence of a woman who has divinely mastered her mind-body relationship, and fully developed her conscience. She bases every decision on her true love for our Heavenly Parent, her true love for True Father, and her true love for all humanity. I am always in awe of our True Mother and we are so blessed to have her here on earth leading us to Cheon Il Guk!

She is still young and strong. Her health is improving day by day as she keeps a strict schedule of exercise. Her mantra of living for the sake of others, LFSO, includes the goal-set to live Longer, Faster, Stronger, and Onward! Even though I am decades younger than True Mother, I find it hard to keep up with her. She has a divine constitution and is the source of inspiration for us all!

I completely respect our True Mother. She has the full authority of True Parents. She lives in complete harmony with, and shares equal authority with our True Father. They are completely one, and indivisible.

Neither Heavenly Parent nor True Father could fulfill the providence of True Parents without True Mother fulfilling her own portion of responsibility. Just as True Father completed everything, so has True Mother. That is why we can gather here today, blessed and graced by our Heavenly Parent.

It is due to True Parents amazing lives and sacrifice that the True Children could be born. It is due to their devout sacrifice and victory for all humankind that blessed central family members could be reborn and blessed. We have not only inherited the divine word, principles, and blessings from True Parents, we have been elevated and carried to salvation and grace on the wings of True Parents and have been given the chance to be eternal tribal messiahs. We must have a heart of absolute gratitude and love for True Parents! Furthermore, as her physical, and spiritual, children we must study with even more sincerity about our true origin, and unite completely with our True Parents.

Only in this way can we fulfill our mission as their true filial sons and daughters.

I will do my very best to attend and serve our True Mother and True Father as one unified couple. I hope that we can all join together as one harmonious family centered on our True Parents. I believe this is the very best way we can honor True Father’s legacy, as well as the legacy all of you are building in your own lives.

Each one of us is here today because of True Parents. They are our absolute origin. Our marriages, our families, our understanding of God’s providence, and even our achievements in life are all indebted to the life, love and sacrifice of True Parents.

True Mother has come to America, and now to Las Vegas, to express her deep love and appreciation to each and every one of you, and to guide us in the way we must go to fulfill our portion of responsibility and achieve all that Heavenly Parent and True Parents have worked for, a nation of cosmic peace and unity, Cheon Il Guk. We are blessed to be in True Mother’s presence and have this opportunity to receive her message.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, please give True Mother your sincere and heartfelt attention as she speaks to us today. Her words are our precious lifeline to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The physical time we have with her is so valuable. True Love is eternal. I know our True Father is with us at each moment. Let us come together as one family under Heavenly Parent and True Parents and honor this eternal legacy! Let us cherish this moment.

In attendance to Heavenly Parent and also to celebrate the 1000 day memorial of the ascension of True Father we have gathered here in Las Vegas on this special day. We are so lucky and happy to be here today from all over the world; at this moment many Unificationists are remembering that special day. All Blessed Families, are you happy to be here with us?

When we move to a new house, in order to adapt to the new house, we need a lot of time to adapt to the new surroundings and that’s how we feel today; this new home is our home, in our hearts and bodies. Today is the 1000 day memorial. It is a special service of Jeong Seong (devotional offering) for True Father’s ascension memorial. Of course, when you think about it, you realize how much Heavenly Parent and True Father have yearned and prepared for this very moment. Have you thought about it?

Expanding the Sphere of Goodness

Until now, the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity has been carried out by the Heavenly Parent. The Heavenly Parent is omnipotent and omniscience. He needs to be welcomed and attended by humanity as a king of kings, however, He has been lonely. why is that? Because His beloved children fell. Can you speak of a king without the people? Yes or no? So as we celebrating the 1000 day memorial of True Father I really hope that all of you will be able to liberate your ancestors in the spirit world. True Father has mentioned that you need to liberate 210 generations. So what is the meaning of Father’s words?

We need to liberate up to 420 generations of our ancestors. The spirit world has, until this point, followed the fall. It has taken 6000 biblical years to get to this moment. What a long period of time. The spirit world is filled with fallen history. The fallen people do not know God’s Providence, but thanks to the True Parents we have received the Marriage Blessing and as Blessed Families, are you aware of the providence or are you ignorant of the providence? If you are aware of it, my hope then is that all of you can liberate all your ancestors and lead them to the Marriage Blessing and I hope you can accomplish this mission of making your ancestors absolute good spirits.

This is the responsibility that you have been blessed with as Blessed Families. Do you understand? That is why we need to expand the good spiritual heavenly sphere and we do this by increasing the people who are on the side of God, the people who are living centered on True Parents. This is our blessing, our responsibility. Depending on whether we accomplish this responsibility or not, True Father can expand his influence all over the world and be more active around the world

Restoring God’s Dream

There are 7 billion people in the world who do not know True Parents, and to these people we need to show them the path to life, the path two love all over the world. More and more people are being born but we are also witnessing more natural calamities. For example, in Nepal there was a really terrible disastrous earthquake, but also in the Philippines there was a great typhoon. In America we also had many natural disasters. When we see these things happening, how do we think about dealing with them? Are we going to be self-centered? Are we going to think about our personal lives, our personal families? Are we just going to put our comfort as our priority? Do you think that living such a life will lead you to an exalted position in the spirit world?

God had such a wonderful ideal when He created the universe. His wish was to realize His ideal through humanity. He expected human beings to become True Parents. However this wonderful dream by God was destroyed by Adam and Eve. Because of the fall of human beings, it took 6,000 years for the True Parents to appear, however despite this setback, heaven could not let go, not forsake humankind; the beginning and end must be the same. Therefore, when God created human beings He had an ideal, and therefore He carried out the providence of restoration.

The providence of restoration was so filled with pain and was so difficult that is was so painful to find one person who could be called God’s son. You have no idea how painful and difficult it was for heaven to raise that person going from the individual, the family, and the tribe and to the nation. In order to raise the national foundation, heaven had to suffer through 4000 years of painful biblical history. Heaven underwent this painful history and heaven tried to work through the chosen people and God sent His begotten son to that people; however, what happened? The messiah could not be recognized around the world; instead he was crucified on the cross and promised to come again. And when he comes again, what will he accomplish? He would host the Marriage of the Lamb. That means that the Messiah wanted to hold the holy marriage, and in order to have this marriage you need a partner. That’s why when we look at the 2000 year history of Christianity, it’s been a history to find the only begotten daughter of God. You need to be clearly aware of this.

America’s Blessing

Dear brothers and sisters, as you know from Divine Principle, whether it’s the individual, tribe, or nation, if heaven grants a mission to a person and the person fails in his responsibility that person is not used anymore. We know this very well from the Bible, and we also know that when heaven does works, it does so through indemnity. For a long time in history heaven has worked in the orient and prepared the Korean peninsula. When we look at the 2000 years of Christianity, it began in the Italian peninsula, expanded through the European continent, went to the island of England, it flourished in the European continent and among these people and we can see that American history traces its roots back to this continent. Isn’t that true? When we look at the American continent, it is blessed with this responsibility. What is that responsibility?

It is not for America to live for it’s own sake but to live for the sake of the world, of others, that is why God blessed this nation of America; however, America has had many challenges in fulfilling this responsibility. That is why True Father came to the American continent and really worked to help America to fulfill this heavenly responsibility. For 40 years True Father invested his blood, sweat, and tears in America.

All of you are the children standing before the True Parents. When you look at your personal lives how exemplary life of filial piety have you lead? We need to repent for our shortcomings. When we look at the history of the providence, the providence has worked through the American continent and it has expanded across the pacific civilization back to Pacific Rim and on to Asia through japan, which is the Eve nation, an island nation. Heaven selected Japan and after that the Korean peninsula, which was selected as the fatherland of faith, as the fatherland of God. Heaven prepared these nations through the history of the providence, however this history of the providence was filled with pain and suffering. This is the 70th anniversary of Korea’s independence. It is also the 70th anniversary of the founding of the UN. This is the year of the 70th anniversary. Think about it, how many people are aware at this moment of heaven’s providence? The UN was founded for the mission of welcoming and testifying about the only begotten son of heaven, True Father. This was heaven’s plan for the UN. At that time, True Father launched the history of the providence and he went back to North Korea, facing difficulties. He risked his life and was even imprisoned in North Korea. He went to Hungnam Prison. He was liberated the day before he was scheduled to be executed. The UN liberated him following the WWII.

So at that time China was a great communist nation and America represented the democratic world by itself. If heaven had not worked this miracle at that time, the 16 nations of the UN could not have come to the rescue of Korea after the WWII. When we look at the providence of restoration and True Father, True Father had the mission of completing and perfecting the entire history of the providence. Unless True Father did that, God could not be liberated.

I do not want to make any political statement however I believe that America had the responsibility to preserve Korea as one united Korea. Korea should not have been divided. I believe this is another mission America has been blessed with.

Fulfilling Your Blessed Responsibility

When we look at heaven’s history in the providence, heaven is always victorious in the end. That is why all the blessed families around the world at this moment need to be at the mainstream of God’s providence. We need to be at the mainstream of the world with confidence and testify about the True Parents to the world. We need to reveal that True Parents are on this earth, and centering on True Parents the history of the providence is taking place. That is how humanity and this world can be saved; that is how this world, that is how the future of this earth, that is how the future of humanity can be connected with True Parents and we can have hope for this entire universe. Do you agree with me?

Following the human fall so many peoples and civilizations have been formed; however, among all these nations, do you think any country compares to America? Do you think that these nations listen to the UN? In one way, all the nations of the world are brotherly nations and at the center we need to have the True Parents who can unite all these brothers, all these nations, and when True Parents stand at the center they can solve all the world’s problems. We need to be aware of this. Furthermore, America stands at the forefront of the providence. It is the elder nation, it is the eldest son, and when America fulfills its Godgiven responsibility all of the world, all of humanity can unite and in so doing, we can have one united world centering on Heavenly Parent. It can become One Family Under God. This will take place without fail.

To bring this day forward I hope that we will all work together. We can all resolve to do this. So will you do is?

True Father is here with us, and he is looking at all of you with a very happy heart and he is wishing all of you can fulfill your blessed responsibility and will, without fail, be centered on Heavenly Parent and together realize one world centering on Heavenly Parent. Dear respected elders. Beloved brothers and sisters. We gather today absolutely centered on our Heavenly Parent and our Beloved True Parents.

Thank you very much for joining this special program here at the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas.

True Parents have invested their unconditional love, sincere devotion, absolute faith, and entire beings into this city, in hopes that it could be transformed into a heavenly, “shining city.” This magnificent IPEC is a testament to their vision and their hope for America. May it be a beacon of light and revival for the whole world, fulfilling the eternal yearnings of our Heavenly Parent for this country, which Heavenly Parent and True Parents blessed!

Today we honor True Parents’ eternal legacy, and your blessed legacy centered on True Parents.

I am deeply moved and honored to be here with you today.

This program commemorates 1000 days since our True Father’s ascension. Therefore, we gather at this time in honor of our beloved True Father, our hearts filled with the deepest respect, appreciation and love.

Since True Father’s ascension, nearly three years ago, we have been on a dramatic journey, with many challenges, internal and externally, both in our movement and in the wider society. It is as if the whole world was shaken by True Father’s passing. There have been unprecedented grumblings in the natural world that have resulted from humanity’s lack of care and attendance to Mother Nature, and our departure from our divine path. I know that each and every one of you has gone through some pain and suffering, perhaps even doubt, during this time.

Therefore, let us continually give our prayers, love, compassion, and support to all the members of our global family who have been affected by these various challenges. And, let us live our lives centered on the truth, honor our parents in heaven and on earth, and let us make sincere effort to serve and love the whole human family.

Even though we may face an uphill climb, let us all work together to help one another not only to persevere, but to emerge victorious.

Sometimes the challenges of life can seem almost too much to bear. However, if we reflect on the power of love, faith, benevolence, and goodness, we open up to the light. We begin to appreciate heroes among us who, by their example, their vision and their words, show us the way out of the darkness and lead us to the light. They give us hope.

There has been a person in my life who has always inspired me, even in the darkest times; someone who has an unwavering will, a global consciousness, fearless determination, absolute love, and selfless devotion for the sake of humankind. She is my mother and known to one and all as our True Mother. There is no other person on this earth who can match our True Father’s example. Together they are our completed, eternal True Parents.

Despite losing her husband of 52 years, and the father to their 14 children; despite being now in this physical world without the irreplaceable half that makes her whole; and despite losing her one and only true love, True Mother never stops to focus on, or complain about, her own difficulties. On the contrary, she always looks to ease the pain of others, giving out love and hope, and calling us all to embrace the victorious future of “Vision 2020”, Cheon Il Guk, and one family under our Heavenly Parent.

As you know, True Mother has returned from a tour in Europe, honoring 50 years of the Unification Movement, and from a visit to New York. You have seen the reports, but let me say that the unanimous and heartfelt outpouring of love and support for True Mother from European and American brothers and sisters and the “next generations” was profoundly moving, especially from members of the “Cranes Club,” and even from the Ambassadors for Peace who attended True Mother’s speech at the UN Headquarters in Vienna.

I could share many inspiring testimonies about True Mother’s tour, but it would take many hours. And, in any case, this morning I want to try to convey more of the essence of True Mother’s significance and value for our lives.

This is a daunting task.

How does one even begin?

Never in the history of humankind has there ever been a more beautiful, loving, gracious, and compassionate being on earth. True Father has said on many occasions how True Mother’s eternal beauty resides in her loving, faithful and generous heart. He often proudly and lovingly praised her for her grace, her kindness, and her stunning feminine beauty that has brought so much joy to us all.

When I reflect on women throughout history, there is no one who compares with True Mother when it comes to internal and external character. She is without peer. Some may point to Helen of Troy whose mythic beauty caused men to lust and fight. However, if that is the standard for beauty, then it is a sad role model.

True Mother is far removed from such a worldly standard. She sets a standard for true and eternal beauty, as the embodiment of true love. Such true love has the capacity to melt the hearts of humankind, inspiring us to love one another and to work to build a world of peace, joy and prosperity for all of God’s children.

Apart from her physical beauty and elegance, True Mother’s internal value and significance are infinitely great. Thus, we stand here today in the presence of the greatest woman in the history of all humankind. We stand here together attending the absolute example of a true person, who has completed everything. She, in complete unity with our True Father, has given each one of us true love, true life and true lineage.

She absolutely attended True Father for more than 52 years with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. She is the only woman to ever completely fulfill the course of restoration for all womankind. She is absolutely and completely victorious. Together with our beloved True Father, she has liberated all of humankind to receive the Holy Blessing. They have opened up the path for all to achieve salvation and peace.

We stand today in the presence of our Heavenly Parent’s true daughter, a gift of grace, true love, and goodness. She is the absolute standard of a true filial daughter of our Heavenly Parent.

As you know, True Mother is my physical mother, and of course she is the physical mother of my 13 siblings. However, even more importantly, she is our True Mother and, in this respect, she is our source of salvation, our guiding light, our guru, and our queen. She leads us out of darkness, suffering and indemnity, to a world of everlasting peace, true love, and prosperity for all. Let us therefore emulate, honor, and uphold True Parents’ beautiful legacy as true filial sons and daughters of our True Parents.

True Mother taught me two Korean expressions that can lead us to true peace and joy. These are “Kamsahamnida” and “Saranghamnida.” As many of you know, they mean “thank you” and “I love you.” She said if there is anything we should teach future generations, it is to live their lives with this kind of grateful and loving heart. May we strive each day to cultivate such a heart!

I am eternally grateful to True Mother, and all of you here today celebrating this historic moment, and honoring True Father’s unchanging wish and hope for the United States to fulfill its providential responsibility.

Before I say more about True Mother I want to express my deep appreciation to each and every one of you. You, especially the elder members, have lived lives of faithful attendance to True Parents. You have followed in their footsteps and helped pave the way for us to stand today on this victorious foundation in the United States and the world. Even though you often faced prejudice, persecution and opposition you have been victorious, with absolute faith, love and obedience. I am eternally grateful and honored to be here together with you, and to be part of this tour with True Mother. I pray that our Heavenly Parent and our True Father may eternally bless you and your precious families.

Kamsahamnida and Saranghamnida!

I stand before you today with a feeling of deep gratitude and appreciation for our True Mother. Only when we understand our true origin, the beginning of all true life, can we inherit and carry out our duty as filial sons and daughters in honor of our True Parents. Therefore, we must know our true history of true love, true life and true lineage. We must become absolutely one with True Parents and with their sacred words, so that we never lose our way.

In preparing the three holy texts, True Mother distilled the pure essence from more than one thousand volumes of True Parents’ precious words. This is such a great blessing! In Cham Bumo Gyeong, we can directly be linked to the true voice and amalgamated biography of our complete and united True Parents. On that basis, we can sincerely learn from and emulate their complementary, balanced, and harmonious courses in life.

I would like to share, some of that amazing history with you. Please bear in mind this introduction to our True Mother is always bound together with True Father; as True Parents they can never be separated. Our True Mother has lived her life with a clear vertical attendance to our Heavenly Parent. Her responsiveness to Heavenly Parent’s providential Will has been the constant thread that runs throughout her life. Prior to meeting our True Father, True Mother was nurtured and protected by Heaven. Her mother, Dae Mo Nim, raised True Mother as the only begotten daughter of God, and not simply as her physical daughter. Dae Mo Nim had received guidance from Heaven, telling her that True Mother was to be the bride of the messiah.

Heaven protected our True Mother during the perilous time of Japanese occupation and the rise of North Korean communism, culminating in the Korean War. So many times she could have been killed or prevented from going forward, but she remained under Heaven’s protection.

Then, miracle of miracles, she met True Father. Think about it. True Mother was just a young girl of 16. How could she, without Heaven’s providential guidance, have had the wisdom and maturity to enter into this relationship at such a young age? Furthermore, knowing True Father’s position, we cannot begin to imagine that his Blessing with True Mother was some coincidence; rather, she is our miracle of salvation. It was heavenly destiny and vertical duty that guided True Mother.

From 1960, True Mother lived day and night with True Father, for over 52 years. Can you imagine living one day with True Father? I heard from many leaders who told me that when Father visited their nation, they could never rest for a moment, and when he departed, they would collapse with exhaustion.

Just imagine True Mother’s situation, in attending True Father without any break over 52 years. When I asked True Mother how she survived and gracefully endured her history of indemnity, she said in her heart and in her soul she always knew her mission; it wasn’t taught to her by any elder. She knew her inner voice. It was Heavenly Parent’s voice and she completely followed it no matter what.

While writing this speech I came to understand more deeply that I am in the presence of a woman who has divinely mastered her mind-body relationship, and fully developed her conscience. She bases every decision on her true love for our Heavenly Parent, her true love for True Father, and her true love for all humanity. I am always in awe of our True Mother and we are so blessed to have her here on earth leading us to Cheon Il Guk!

She is still young and strong. Her health is improving day by day as she keeps a strict schedule of exercise. Her mantra of living for the sake of others, LFSO, includes the goal-set to live Longer, Faster, Stronger, and Onward! Even though I am decades younger than True Mother, I find it hard to keep up with her. She has a divine constitution and is the source of inspiration for us all!

I completely respect our True Mother. She has the full authority of True Parents. She lives in complete harmony with, and shares equal authority with our True Father. They are completely one, and indivisible.

Neither Heavenly Parent nor True Father could fulfill the providence of True Parents without True Mother fulfilling her own portion of responsibility. Just as True Father completed everything, so has True Mother. That is why we can gather here today, blessed and graced by our Heavenly Parent.

It is due to True Parents amazing lives and sacrifice that the True Children could be born. It is due to their devout sacrifice and victory for all humankind that blessed central family members could be reborn and blessed. We have not only inherited the divine word, principles, and blessings from True Parents, we have been elevated and carried to salvation and grace on the wings of True Parents and have been given the chance to be eternal tribal messiahs. We must have a heart of absolute gratitude and love for True Parents! Furthermore, as her physical, and spiritual, children we must study with even more sincerity about our true origin, and unite completely with our True Parents. Only in this way can we fulfill our mission as their true filial sons and daughters.

I will do my very best to attend and serve our True Mother and True Father as one unified couple. I hope that we can all join together as one harmonious family centered on our True Parents. I believe this is the very best way we can honor True Father’s legacy, as well as the legacy all of you are building in your own lives.

Each one of us is here today because of True Parents. They are our absolute origin. Our marriages, our families, our understanding of God’s providence, and even our achievements in life are all indebted to the life, love and sacrifice of True Parents.

True Mother has come to America, and now to Las Vegas, to express her deep love and appreciation to each and every one of you, and to guide us in the way we must go to fulfill our portion of responsibility and achieve all that Heavenly Parent and True Parents have worked for, a nation of cosmic peace and unity, Cheon Il Guk. We are blessed to be in True Mother’s presence and have this opportunity to receive her message.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, please give True Mother your sincere and heartfelt attention as she speaks to us today. Her words are our precious lifeline to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The physical time we have with her is so valuable. True Love is eternal. I know our True Father is with us at each moment. Let us come together as one family under Heavenly Parent and True Parents and honor this eternal legacy! Let us cherish this moment.

You are now over seventy or eighty years old, which is much more than half a century.

We are now in the position that there is less time to live until we pass on to the spirit world than the time we have lived on earth. Listening to reports from Japan, I learned that the spirit world is working a lot there. The remaining time of your lives is a serious period during which you must discover how much you can expand the environment of the spirit world.

I got a report yesterday, which said that one of the members heard a voice from the spirit world. The spirit world called out a name the member did not recognize. Later the person found out that it was the name of the ancestor of one of our philanthropic members.

This is proof that liberating your ancestors creates a large environment for them. Through the descendants donating a lot to the providence and liberating many ancestors, the ancestors are able to live in a home large beyond their imagination. Thus, they are grateful. This is proof that the achievements of the descendants will create such an environment for their ancestors in the spirit world.

You are different from other people, so you have followed True Parents’ desire and followed the same path that True Parents have, and in the same age. If you look from True Parents’ viewpoint, True Parents have to restore all seven billion people as their children.

Only then will the world become one centered on God, as one family under God. Thus, while you are alive you must tell the people about True Parents. You must testify about True Parents. You must open the path for them to be engrafted to True Parents and to live life as blessed members.

As I toured Europe, I saw the culture built up over the two thousand years of Christianity. In the end, that culture was to prepare for the Messiah’s Second Advent. If Christians had prepared in such a way, they should have welcomed the Second Advent. However, they do not understand.

That culture, that Christian culture, has become a shell. You are attending True Parents and are creating a new culture due to True Parents.

You are living in the midst of a great miracle. Unfortunately, you have aged a lot. Whether you live for another three years, ten years or twenty years, you must expand the spiritual realm. If you pass away without doing that, your descendants will lament. Do you realize that?

Depending on how you act in your lives each day and if you harvest good fruit, you will become wealthy in the spirit world. Won’t True Parents remember you in the spirit world? No matter how many results and achievements your descendants leave, they will never remember, they will never have known, True Parents themselves.

You will be able to say, “This is my child. This is my descendant.” You do not know how valuable this personal relationship you have had with True Parents is. Thus, you need to lead grateful lives.

True Father has planned that this Peace Palace that we have sanctified today would educate all humankind and embrace the whole world. However, there have been many complicated issues during the preparation process. The leaders were lacking, so they did not know. In a word, they were ignorant. It took some time; yet, centered on this place, you should educate all the peace ambassadors in the world and make them into substantial blessed members. Moreover, I am going to guide the United States again. We need to bear the fruit of the Christian culture. The American Clergy Leadership Conference needs to become more active. Now the harvest of substantial fruit can no longer end at “knowing”; you must be in a position to practice.

When True Parents are here on earth and when they are not will be unmistakably different. Because I am still here, I am able to establish a tradition that can tie the whole world together as one in the space of three years. You must be grateful that you are breathing at the same time as I do.

Since the Cheonji Sunhak Won needs to be able to express the six thousand years of providential history, it cannot leave out the two thousand years of Christian culture. Therefore, I have looked at famous cathedrals and museums, but now is the time for a new…. After True Father’s Seonghwa, I felt that it was a bit weak because it was connected to the Chung Pyung project. Therefore, this should become a historical and monumental building.

Thus, as I said before, when people go in they must come out as people of the Principle. You must make it into a place that characterizes that type of education. As I visited various places, I thought that it must become a place where people can see at one glance how hard True Parents worked for world peace, in other words, a place unprecedented in history, a place unique in the world. There can be nothing better.

The building that we are to build should express hope. If you go to Catholic churches, they are gloomy. Their roofs only got taller as they hung on to God, waiting for the Second Advent, clinging onto empty things.

However, we are different. How many great pains have I had to go through in order to create a building that is modern, classic and unique?

As I sanctified the Peace Palace, the International Peace Education Center, this time, since it is a not only a location for education but where we offered the thousand-day memorial for True Father, I want to give out a set of True Father’s clothes. I prepared True Father’s suit, shoes, wallet, belt and other things and will place these in True Parents’ room. If this happens… If True Father is to carry out the providence on earth… Just as they say, when in Rome do as the Romans do, True Father would look amazing if he wore a well-fitted suit when he carries out the providence on earth. Thus, I prepared a set of clothes. I also brought the wallet True Father liked…. I have given money for Europe, for the United States and money for True Father to use in the spirit world. Let us sing and then eat lunch.

Our Heavenly Parent, you created heaven and earth for your great dream and you thought of and hoped for the birth of our human ancestors. Yet, due to the Fall, we feel deeply the sadness of your ordeal, how you had no other choice but to carry out the providence of restoration through indemnity, a providence you did not wish to see.

However, you never changed. You continued the providence of restoration for human beings and finally sent your only begotten son, Jesus Christ, after four thousand years; but due to the people and leaders that could not accept their responsibilities, Jesus ascended leaving the words, I will come again. How much pain you have felt! On the basis of the two thousand years of providential history, you brought about the birth of True Parents on earth.

Moreover, Christianity’s last responsibility, to accept and attend True Parents in the United States, went unfulfilled. Yet, as the True Parent, you are in a position where you have to embrace all of humanity.

You, therefore, established your great dream here in Las Vegas, creating this Peace Palace in order to educate and embrace your children from around the world. We have not had a day when we could fully attend and serve you because of the inadequacy of our leaders. Please forgive us for our undutiful attitude.

Father, I sincerely pray that you can directly work through this institution in your search for all of humanity, whom you have hoped, for so long, to find. Father, I am sorry.

However, I fervently pray that you please remember these people who are trying their best to honor your wish and substantiate your work. As we dedicate this great building to you today, please bless it so that it becomes a place where many children in this nation and from around the world can come to truly realize that our Heavenly Parent and True Parents are living and working together and so that it becomes a place where your hopes are realized.

Please oversee everything. I pray this in the name of True Parents. Aju.
