About the Sun Hak Institute of History USA
The Sun Hak Institute of History brings to life the story of the Unification Movement. In August 2016, the movement's co-founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, inaugurated the institute in Korea and commissioned it to preserve and document the movement's history to guide future generations. Fueled by this great responsibility, the institute provides opportunities to collaborate with national and international affiliate organizations as well as with members of Unificationist background to collect, organize, research and disseminate the treasures that the movement has to offer.
With more than half a century of the movement's history taking place in the United States, Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, International Vice President and Continental Chairman of North America, recognized the importance of carrying out this mission here in the U.S. He swiftly assembled a committee of our most esteemed scholars and with their cooperative effort inaugurated the Sun Hak Institute of History USA on November 2nd 2017.
