Our dear, most beloved Heavenly Parent, the Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind:

Here at the East Garden Holy Ground we offer this place, the old house where we began the providence in America, as a museum. During the arduous course of the Providence of Restoration, You gave fallen humanity hope. However, the first providence for the advent of the Messiah, Savior and True Parent through the people of Israel ended in failure. No one in all the history of humankind knew how great Heaven’s effort and suffering had been.

Heavenly Parent, You, however, with an unchanging heart, restarted the providence of salvation through Christianity and prepared for two thousand years for the returning Lord, who Jesus promised would come again. Therefore, You raised America to play the central role in the providence by becoming a nation that could prepare for and receive True Parents, the Second Coming of the Messiah.

Nevertheless, the people were ignorant and did not understand Heaven’s situation. They chose to live comfortable lives and cared only for themselves. This nation has a regrettable history, in that it chose individualism and selfishness over God’s Will.

The True Parents, being aware of providential history, came to this nation. They protected America, which was on the brink of a moral crisis, and remained for the long period of forty years, opening the way for progress and results through their blood and tears. Nevertheless, the people are still ignorant of the truth that the True Parents, the Savior, the Second Coming of the Messiah, came to earth and developed Heaven’s providence in order to save all humankind.

Therefore, blessed families must fulfill their responsibilities and awaken this country once again through this museum we are dedicating today. We offer this as a place where people can learn about True Parents’ history and the results of their achievements and a place where they can repent and resolve to follow True Parents’ way in order to make Heavenly Parent’s dream come true. In doing so, this nation can fulfill its responsibilities as the providential Elder Son Nation. Father, Heavenly Parent, please receive this happily. Please move the hearts of all members and visitors who come here, so that this people and the world can absolutely receive Heaven’s Will during True Parents’ lifetime. I pray that this can be the starting point for the Unification movement in America and the people of this nation to move toward that day—the day when the Kingdom of Heaven is realized and all people become citizens of Cheon Il Guk.

Are all of you in the second or third generations? Who am I? I am God's only begotten daughter. Due to Adam and Eve's Fall, Heaven has had to endure a painful and difficult providence. Heaven has led the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity; Heaven could not help but follow this painful and difficult path. In the beginning, God created heaven and earth, and lastly God created Adam and Eve to become the ancestors of humankind and said, "This is good. This is beautiful."

However, God especially gave Adam and Eve responsibility; that responsibility consisted of them going through a growth period and becoming absolutely one with God. Adam and Eve should have grown in this way. The point at which Adam and Eve would have received the blessing would have been the point at which God became the True Parents of humankind, which was the purpose behind God's creation of heaven and earth -- God's dream. Adam and Eve, who should have fulfilled their responsibilities as expressed in the Bible, fell due to the Satan's temptation. They became greedy and self-centered; they began to look towards themselves.

It is the same with you. As children in blessed families, True Parents are your essence. You cannot fulfill the purpose of your existence separated from True Parents. Do you understand that? Having received blessings, you have a responsibility; that responsibility entails that until you have reached perfection, you should listen to your parents. More importantly, you must become absolutely one with True Parents. Wherever you may be -- whether you are studying or developing your talents and abilities -- you should think always in this way: I am doing this, and I would like to offer this to True Parents. What do True Parents wish for me? Is this what True Parents would like me to do? If True Parents want this, I will take responsibility for this area and be triumphant and successful for True Parents. That kind of desire, that kind of ambition is good. However, allowing in self-centeredness will lead to anger.

Do you understand? The greatest wish of fallen human beings is to meet the True Parents, to be saved through True Parents; that is their greatest wish, whether they are aware of the providence, or not. They are waiting for the absolute owner, an absolute being who can preside over creation. We can see this in the four major religions, but this belief is most prominent in Christianity, because even though Christianity could not fully explain God, Christians believed God was their Father.

Preparing for Jesus

Originally, God's purpose for creating was to become humankind's parent. It is difficult to explain concretely, but God is our Father. At the time of the Creation, beginning with the smallest microorganism all the way to the animal world, God created everything in pairs. God created humankind in pairs too. If that is the case, God, our Heavenly Parent, is not just male. Isn't that so? During the history of the providence of indemnity, for the sake of restoration, God selected the chosen people, who in comparison to the rest of the fallen world were a good people armed with the ideology of the chosen people. God selected these people and developed them. How difficult that process must have been that it took four thousand years to develop the foundation from the individual, the family, the tribe, the people and then to the nation. Four thousand years -- how difficult it must have been! It has been about two hundred and forty years since the founding of the United States. Isn't that right? It took four thousand years until God gave birth to his only begotten son in the fallen world, a son that God could call "my son." How painful this must have been for God! However, Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, did not understand the providence. She did not know all that had transpired in order for her to be able to give birth to Jesus.

It was the same with Zechariah's family, Joseph's family, Judaism and the people of Israel: All of them waited and yearned, asking God to send the Messiah, and Heaven kept that promise. Heaven sent the Messiah, but the people could not attend the Messiah properly. Their thinking was that a strong power would come and conquer everyone in the fallen world that did not belong to the chosen people of Israel. This was what they hoped for, but that was not what happened. The providence of restoration through indemnity is difficult. Why did God, who is almighty, omnipotent and can act as he wishes, let go of Adam and Eve? It would have been easier to erase Adam and Eve and make a fresh start.

Why did God persist and save human beings? Because God cannot fail. God expressed a special love for human beings, and that expression of love was responsibility. That is why the people around Jesus were unable to create a protective environment for Jesus. Mary could not fulfill her responsibility. However today, Catholics worships Mary as the holy mother. They left Jesus hanging on the cross for two thousand years. How is it possible that God would prepare for four thousand years to send the only begotten son and then have Jesus not live for a hundred years but go through crucifixion at the age of thirty-three? How can you consider this salvation? I believe that this is a testament to human ignorance. God has endured so much pain and suffering, and yet he had to prepare for the future and try again.

Jesus and the Israelites

Through two thousand years of Christian history, God has worked to develop the providence. Unfortunately, Christianity still has yet to understand God fully; they have a superficial understanding of God. They see God as the Father and consider themselves servants of the Lord. They consider themselves servants; they do not understand the essence of their relationship with God. Why is the returning Messiah so important?

Christians are ignorant of this truth. They believe that overnight the world will change and a new world will appear. This kind of fantasy-like thinking is not rooted in logic. This does not agree with natural order. In other words, Christians have been completely ignorant of God's providence.

From God's point of view, the two-thousand-year history of Christianity in God's providence has been the providence to find God's only begotten daughter. You need to understand this point fully. As Jesus hung on the cross, he promised to come again. Why would he come again? To host the marriage supper of the Lamb. To have a marriage, you need a bride, don't you? Jesus gave the message, the word, so that everyone would fully understand. That is why God's only begotten daughter must appear in the Messiah's presence. You are all looking at the person; it is I.

I would like to explain this to you using historical evidence. God has led providential history, and throughout the providence, God has been appointing central figures because human beings, with their limited understanding, cannot fully explain God. Owing to the Fall, God has to select -- from among fallen people -- a central figure who is better than all other people in the fallen world. If a central figure were to fail in his or her responsibility, God would forgive the person but God could not attempt to fulfill the providence through that person again. One who fails in one's responsibility must then pay indemnity. The same is true for a nation.

The Israelites sent Jesus to the cross. From that moment, the value of their existence as a nation was lost. You need to understand that. Even today, in America are Jewish people, who for two thousand years lived as a people without a nation.

Responsibility in Jesus' time

According to the Bible, the God of humanity has worked for four thousand years, going through so much pain in order to send the only begotten son, Jesus, so that Jesus could meet God's only begotten daughter. They would have become the True Parents, and God would have become the True Parents of humanity, but the Israelites were unable to understand this providence. Therefore, they allowed Jesus, who was to have been the True Parent, to go to the cross. This was a great sin. Do you understand? Heaven waited for this particular moment and endured many unimaginable difficulties.

During the time of Jesus, the Roman Empire was such a powerful empire that people said that all roads lead to Rome. The situation in Rome at that time was that if Jesus had received recognition as the True Parent, he would have absorbed Rome's foundation. Rome would have had no choice but to accept Jesus as the True Parent. If that had happened two thousand years ago, in Jesus' time, the realization of one world centered on God, the kingdom of heaven on earth, would have followed. However, the people of Israel were responsible for this being unable to happen. You can imagine that the indemnity they had to pay was extreme.

As I mentioned before, central figures have responsibilities, and if they fail in their responsibilities, the indemnity to be paid will be great. It is the same for a nation. God's only begotten daughter could not be found at the time of Jesus, so Heaven had to restore the foundation to give birth to God's only begotten daughter. God could no longer work through the people of Israel and had to select a different people.

Around that time, the Dongi tribe was in Asia. When selecting the chosen people, God must find righteous people among fallen human beings and give them responsibility. This was during the Han Clan Empire.

Between 800 and 400 BC, the Dongi tribe prospered in what is today China. Those people revered Heaven, and they developed extraordinarily advanced astronomy. They were not a nomadic people; they developed agriculture. They became the chosen people. The Han people also loved white clothes. Every time they made devotions, they would dress in white and yield to Heaven in reverence. Those people existed during the same time as other kingdoms in China. Eventually, since people in the Han Empire did not like fighting and always tried to avoid war, they fled from place to place until they reached the Korean Peninsula.

They eventually came to be known as the nation of Korea. When you look at the history of Korea, you will learn that people say Korea has a fivethousand- year history. If you look at Korea's history, you can see that a kingdom called Goguryeo (고구려) vanquished many Chinese kingdoms. That kingdom of Goguryeo endured for about a thousand years. However, after the Goguryeo kingdom, the next kingdom to rise was Goryeo (고려). They used the "go" (고) character from Goguryeo and named themselves Goryeo. After the downfall of the Goryeo kingdom, King Yi raised a new kingdom called Joseon (조선), meaning "new kingdom."

In Korea's past, from among one of the earliest kingdoms, we had Gojoseon (고조선), and King Yi used "Joseon" from "Gojoseon," to name his new kingdom.

Unfortunately, Japan occupied the kingdom of Joseon for forty years. Liberation from Japan came in 1945. I was born in 1943. It was only a few centuries since Christian culture had come to Korea. Among Christian believers were many who did not believe that the Messiah would come from the clouds. Many believed that the Messiah would be born through a woman, born in the flesh. Many spiritual groups held the belief that the Messiah would be born on earth.

Among these spiritual groups, were formation-level groups, growth-level groups and completion-level groups. The leader of one of these groups testified about me, revealing who I was. When I was born, Satan knew who I was and tried to kill me. Why? Through my birth, Satan's dominion over the world would end completely. That is why Satan resolved to kill me. From Heaven's point of view, this was unacceptable. I fought with Satan and was victorious, allowing me to stand here today.

Following the downfall of the Joseon kingdom, Korea was liberated. Why, though, is Korea called "Dae Han Min Guk" [대한민국 -- the Republic of Korea] literally the "Great Han Kingdom"? My family name happens to be Han. The Chinese character for "han" within Dae Han Min Guk is the same as for my family name. Isn't that interesting? Because of God's protection for the Great Han Republic, people say, "Republic of Korea, Mansei!" With the liberation from Japan, Korea divided into the communist North and the democratic South. Communism and democracy have been in conflict ever since. The culture was Christian; nevertheless, communism, which claims that God is dead, was introduced into the Christian sphere.

I was born in North Korea, far north of the Thirty-Eighth Parallel. As a child, I lived in North Korea. However, God saw that if I had stayed in North Korea, I would have been in danger; I could have even died. If that were to happen, God's providence, which had been expecting God's only begotten daughters for six thousand years, would not have been able to create True Parents. That is why God worked to help me escape.

My maternal uncle was studying pharmacology at [Japan's] Waseda University. After he finished his studies, he should have returned to his hometown, but we received a telegram saying he chose to go to the South and join the South Korean Army. At that time, many Holy Spirit phenomena were occurring in Pyongyang, and my family did not want to flee, to leave, because they believed Pyongyang would become the Palace of Eden. Nevertheless, because my maternal uncle joined the South Korean Army, three women alone -- my grandmother, my mother and I, only the three of us -- left North Korea and went to South Korea. God worked to help us leave North Korea and come to South Korea. Two years after we left North Korea, the Korean War suddenly broke out.

Listening to the story of my life and looking at this background, I am the only person ever born like this. Do you understand? How great the value of God's only begotten daughter is! Some blessed families still do not understand the value of God's only begotten daughter, which is regrettable.

Furthermore, you who are here today, you in particular, need to know the truth. I hope that you can arise and become central figures. In order for you to fulfill your responsibilities, you need to unite completely with True Parents; unite with me. Do you understand? You have such a beautiful future ahead of you. You have the potential to contribute to the providence greatly as outstanding leaders and outstanding, talented people. We have more time than we did with the first generation. Is that right, or not? Therefore, I hope that you can grow properly. What happens if you get caught in Satan's sweet and tempting seduction as Adam and Eve did?

History changed because of Adam and Eve. We still have not restored this nation. I hope that you can stand in the center and become central figures who can expand this environment, so that it can return to Heaven and receive the blessings of Heaven as a blessed nation.

You can create that nation. Will you accept this burden? Truly, Heaven has blessed all of you with support; you need not be afraid of anything. In the course of providential history, you know the truth, and it's now time for you to reveal the truth. Do not keep the truth to yourselves. There are 7.3 billion people in the world. I hear there are now 7.4 billion people; the human population is increasing exponentially. Telling every one of them that True Parents are on earth is important. If they do not know this, when those people ascend to the spirit world and realize that the True Parents were on earth, how sorrowful and regretful they will feel and how resentful against you. Please take this point seriously. I hope salvation can come to many people through you.

Because you are not sharing the good news, many people do not realize that the True Parents are on earth. They can't see True Parents or come to True Parents.

Have you thought about this? Looking at today's world inspires little hope. Even in America, so many challenges lie ahead. In particular, filled with individualism and selfishness, the world's superpowers place their national interests first, but God does not want that. God wishes to have one family under God. He wishes to have one united family, but some nations are going in a direction contrary to God's will. Superpowers like the United States, Russia, China -- as well as the European nations -- exude selfcentered individualism. You cannot find God amid self-centeredness. Do you understand?

Your pride is your relationship to True Parents and that you received the blessing from them. That is your pride. I told you during the Aloha Workshop that you are all pure water, which requires growing up properly. You are pure water, truly pure, unpolluted water. You should grow as this pure water. Do you understand? Through you, we need to purify the world, so please arise in the proud position of an owner, as the person in charge.

For the first time in six thousand years, God's only begotten daughter, the True Parents, are on earth. You have met True Parents in person. You have heard their message and have received love directly from them.

Please do not keep that to yourselves. Do you understand? The more you share your blessings, the more you extend your blessings, the better. Do you see? Young people, I would like to hear a louder response. Do you understand that that is why you are alive? Will you do that?

Who Is True Mother?

Due to the fall of Adam and Eve, Heaven has had to endure a painful and difficult providence; and, through that providence Heaven has led the history of 'the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity.'

This was the painful and difficult path that Heaven could not help but follow.

In the beginning, God created heaven and earth and God created Adam and Eve lastly to become the ancestors of humanity, and said, "This is good. This is beautiful."

However, in particular to Adam and Eve, God gave a responsibility. That responsibility consisted of them going through a period of growth and become absolutely one with God. Adam and Eve should have grown in this way. That is why the position where Adam and Eve would receive the Blessing would be the position where God would become the True Parent of humankind. That is the purpose behind God's creation of heaven and earth. That was God's dream.

Adam and Eve had a responsibility; but unfortunately, as it is written in the Bible that maybe they fell through the temptation of Satan, nonetheless, what happened was that Adam and Eve allowed selfcentered desire, self-centeredness, to take over.

It is the same with you as Blessed children of second and third generation of Blessed families, your essence is True Parents. What if you go away from True Parents? You cannot go away from True Parents. Outside of True Parents there is no value to your existence. Do you understand?

Even all of you who have been Blessed, as Blessed children you have a responsibility. That responsibility consists of becoming perfected human beings to receive the Blessing.

Until you grow to reach that level, of course you should listen to the words of your parents; but, more importantly, you must become absolutely one with True Parents wherever you may be. Whether you are studying, whether you are developing your talents and abilities, you should always think this way, "I am doing this such-and-such; and, I would like to offer this to True Parents. I would like this to be for True Parents. What do True Parents wish of me? Is this what True Parents like me to do? If True Parents want this, I will take responsibility for this area and be victorious and successful for True Parents." That kind of desire, that kind of mission is good.

However, if you allow self-centeredness, self-centeredness leads to anger. Do you understand? Remember that. Do you understand?

For fallen human beings, fallen human beings greatest wish is to meet the True Parents, to be saved by True Parents. That is the greatest wish of fallen human beings, whether they are aware of the providence or not. They want to stand in this position of absolute unity with the True Owner. Fallen human beings have waited for that True Owner; and, this is the same everywhere around the world.

We can see through the development of the four major religions that God has developed this providence; and, we can say that Christianity played a central role in this providence. Why? Christianity could not fully explain God; but, because Christians believed in God as their Father.

Originally, God created heaven and earth; and, the purpose of creation was to become the Parent of humanity. Even though Christianity cannot fully explain the Parent/child relationship, Christianity sees God as the Father. However, in the grand scheme of God's creation, beginning with the smallest protoplasm all the way to human beings, God created everything in pairs and also created human beings in pairs. If that is the case, God is the Heavenly Parent. It is not just the single Heavenly Father alone. Isn't that so?

So, when we look at the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity, in the fallen satanic world at least the chosen people, the people who had the messianic ideology, God worked through those people and has developed the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity, beginning with the individual, the family, the tribe and the nation.

Therefore, that process of reaching the nation was so painful and arduous that it took 4,000 Biblical years. How painful must this providence have been that it took so long. America is about 240 years old, isn't it? God, in the fallen world, sent His only-begotten son, whom He called 'My son.' It took 4,000 Biblical years for God to send His only-begotten son. This is truly unbelievable pain from God's perspective.

However, Mary who gave birth to Jesus did not understand the providence. She did not understand how it came that she gave birth to Jesus; and, she created the result and outcome that led to Jesus' birth not fulfilling its purpose. It is the same with Zachariah's family. Joseph's family, the Jewish people of Israel, all of them waited and yearned, asked God to send them the Messiah; and, Heaven kept its promise.

Heaven sent the Messiah; but, the people could not attend the Messiah properly. Their mentality was that a strong commander would come with fire and brimstone to overturn the entire fallen world, conquer all the other places outside of Israel and stand as the grand commander. Maybe that is what they expected of the Messiah; but, that is not the mission of the Messiah.

The history of the providence of restoration through indemnity is so complex, difficult. Why did God who is almighty, omnipotent and can act as He wishes, let go of Adam and Eve? Why? It may have been easier if God just made a fresh start; but why did He persist in saving human beings? God cannot be a failure. Failure cannot exist in God's dictionary. However, God gave a special love to human beings; and, that love is the human portion of responsibility.

Therefore, the people in the vicinity of Jesus, people entrusted with protecting Jesus, could not develop the proper protective environment for Jesus. Mary failed in her responsibility. However, today in the Catholic Church, Mary is considered a holy mother. Jesus is portrayed as hanging on the cross. For 2,000 years Jesus has been portrayed as hanging on the cross. How is it possible that God prepared for 4,000 years to send the only-begotten son, how is it possible that Jesus could not live 100 years on this earth and at the young age of 33 had to be crucified on the cross? Do you consider this salvation?

I believe this is really a testament to human ignorance. God has had to endure so much pain and suffering yet prepare for the future and try again; and, through 2,000 years of Christian history, God has worked to develop the providence. Unfortunately, Christianity still does not fully understand God. It is a very external understanding of God. They see God as the Father; and, they consider themselves to be servants of the Lord. They consider themselves to be servants. They do not understand the essence of their relationship with God.

Why is the returning Messiah so important. Why are we waiting for the return of the Messiah? Christians are ignorant of this truth. They think that one day, overnight, the world will change and a new world will appear overnight, this kind of fantasy-like thinking, not rooted in logic. This does not agree with actual order. In other words, ignorance, complete ignorance. Christians have been ignorant of God's providence.

The 2,000-year history of the providence centering on Christianity, from God's point of view this 2,000- year history has been the providence to find the only-begotten Daughter. You need to fully understand this point. As Jesus laid on the cross, he promised to come again. Why would he come again? It is to host the Marriage of The Lamb. To host the marriage you need the Bride, isn't it (true)?

Jesus gave the Message, the Word, so that everyone could fully understand. Nonetheless, Christians ... How can I say it? They are blind: they have been blind to Jesus' Message. That is why, before the returning Messiah, there must absolutely be a Person; and, that Person is the only-begotten Daughter. That is, it is Me Who is standing right here in front of you! (Applause) (Mother's look is that, simply, she knows who she irrevocably is...)

So, I would like to explain this to you through historical facts and also historical records. God has led the history of the providence of restoration and also has appointed central figures throughout this providence. Every time God has appointed central figures; because, as human beings, human beings with their limited understanding cannot fully explain God. That is why God has appointed central figures who could explain better Who God ,was; and, if the central figure fails in his or her responsibility, God would forgive but not use or work through that person again.

The person who failed in their responsibility must pay indemnity. It is the same for the nation. The people of Israel sent Jesus to the cross; and, the moment Jesus was crucified, the value of the nation was lost. You need to understand that.

Even today, in American streets, you can see people, for example, Jewish believers dressed in orthodox clothes walking in the streets. For 2,000 years they have lived without a particular nation. Also, how is it possible that during World War II and because of Hitler of Germany, 6 million Jews were mercilessly massacred. This was such a terrible, unimaginable crime. However, why did this happen. The Jewish people do not understand. Why did Heaven allow such a heinous crime to happen?

The God of humanity has worked for 4,000 Biblical years, gone through so many pains to send the onlybegotten son, Jesus, so that Jesus could meet the only-begotten Daughter; and, through Jesus Christ becoming True Parents, God would become the True Parent of humanity. However, the people of Israel failed to understand this providence. Therefore, in other words, they allowed Jesus who was to become the True Parent to go on the cross. What a great sin this was. Do you understand? Do you understand?

Heaven waits for a particular moment; and, Heaven has endured so many, unimaginable difficulties. At that time, during the time of Jesus, the Roman Empire was such a great empire to the extent that people said, "All roads lead to Rome." The situation of Rome at the time was that, if Jesus could stand and be recognized as the True Parent, then absorbing the entire foundation of Rome, Rome would have to accept Jesus as the True Parent.

That was the providence that had been prepared. If that had happened 2,000 years ago centering on Jesus, one world centered on God, the Kingdom of God on the earth would have been realized. However, the Jewish people became responsible for frustrating this providence; so, you can imagine that the indemnity that they had to pay was extremely great. This was a historical fact.

As I mentioned before, people who were central figures have a responsibility. If they fail in their responsibility, the indemnity to be paid is great. It is the same for the nation. That is why at that time, the only-begotten Daughter could not be found at the time of Jesus. The foundation to give birth to the onlybegotten Daughter had to be restored by Heaven; and, that is why God could no longer work through the Jewish people of Israel and looked for a different people.

Also, around that time in Asia, there were people of righteousness, in the East. God selects the people ... He looked for the most righteous people, even among fallen human beings; and, at that time there was a kingdom of Han in the East. Approximately between 400 and 800 AD, this righteous people prospered in current China. This people revered Heaven: they worshiped Heaven and they developed extraordinarily advanced astronomy. That is why they were not a nomadic people. They developed agriculture. They were an agricultural people. They were the chosen people; and, through them, the people of this Han kingdom, they loved white clothes. Every time they would pray and offer devotion, they would always dress in white, bow to Heaven and revere, worship Heaven.

Those people of Han, those people existed; and, at that time in China there were many other kingdoms. Eventually, since the kingdom of Han did not like fighting, they always tried to avoid fighting and would flee from one place to another until they reached the Korean peninsula, and they are the people who are today's Korea. (Applause)

Korea, when you look at the history of Korea, people say it has a 5,000-year history. If you look at the history of Korea, there was a kingdom called 'Gogoryeo' which vanquished many of its Chinese kingdoms. That kingdom of Gogoryeo endured for a millennia, about a thousand years; however, after the downfall of the Gogoryeo kingdom, the next kingdom to rise was Goryeo. They used to 'go' character from 'Gogoryeo' and named themselves 'Goryeo.' This Goryeo kingdom, after its downfall, a King Yi chose the name 'Joseon' for the new kingdom.

, in Korea and among the earliest kingdoms in Korea we had Gojoseon; and, using the 'joseon' from 'Gojoseon,' the king used this to name his kingdom; and, this kingdom of Joseon was unfortunately, was under ... it was the kingdom that was in Japanese occupation for 40 years.

At that time in Korea in 1945, Korea was liberated. I was born in 1943. It was only a few centuries since Christian culture had come to Korea. However, among the Christian believers, there were many who did not believe that the Messiah would come on the clouds. Many believed that the Messiah would be born through a woman, be born in the flesh. There were many spiritual groups that believed that the Messiah would be born on earth.

Among these spiritual groups, there were formation-level groups, growth-level spiritual groups and completion-level spiritual groups. One of the leaders of these spiritual groups testified to me. He revealed who I was.

When I was born, Satan knew who I was and tried to kill me. Why? Because of My birth, Satan's dominion over the world would be completely ended. That is why Satan resolved to kill me. From Heaven's point of view, this was unacceptable; and, I fought with Satan and was victorious. That is why, today, I stand before you. (Applause)

Now, following the downfall of the kingdom of Joseon, Korea was liberated; but, why is Korea called 'Daehanminguk,' which means 'The Great Kingdom of Han?' I am also ... That family name is 'Han.' It is the same 'Han' when you say, 'Daehanminguk,' which is the Korean name for Korea. That 'han' in 'Daehanminguk' is the same name as my family name 'Han.' Isn't this interesting? The Great Republic of Han ... because of the protection of God, they, The Great Republic of Korea, Monsei.

Now, with the liberation of Korea, Korea became divided into communist North and democratic South. Communism and democracy have been in conflict ever since; and, communism which developed within the Christian sphere, claims that God is dead and I was born in North Korea, way above the 38th parallel.

At that time, I lived in North Korea; however, from God's point of view, if I stay in North Korea, it would be dangerous. My life would be at risk. I could even die; and, if that were to happen, God's providence, which has been waiting for the only-begotten Daughter for 6,000, if the only-begotten Daughter is dead, even if the returning Messiah comes, they cannot form the True Parents.

That is why God worked to help me escape. My maternal uncle studied pharmacology at Waseda University. After he finished his studies he should have returned to his hometown; but, he chose to go to the South and join the South Korean military.

Therefore, when my family received this news, in our family, people believed that Pyeongyang would become the 'palace of Eden'...and at that time, there was a lot of Holy Spirit phenomena happening in Pyeongyang. No one wanted to leave Pyeongyang because it would become the 'palace of Eden.' However, because my maternal uncle joined the military in South Korea, only three ladies: my grandmother, my mother and I, the three of us, only the three of us, we left North Korea and went to South Korea. It means God worked to help us leave North Korea and come to South Korea. Two years after we left North Korea, the Korean War erupted.

So, listening to the story of My Life and looking at this background, I am the only person born with this background. Do you understand? Now, how great and important is the value of the only-begotten Daughter? There are still Blessed families who do not understand the value of the only-begotten Daughter. This is regretful.

Furthermore, in particular, you who stand here today, you need to know the truth. I hope that you can stand and become central figures; and, in order for you to fulfill your responsibility you need to unite completely with True Parents, unite with me. Do you understand?

So, you have such a beautiful future ahead of you. You have the potential to greatly contribute to the providence. You can become outstanding leaders and outstanding people of talent. You have time. You have more time compared to first generations, isn't it? Isn't that so? Therefore, I hope that you can grow properly.

In the past, Adam and Eve did not overcome the temptation of Satan. You should not allow the sweet temptations of Satan to overcome you. True Parents have changed human history. Therefore, your responsibility consists of restoring this nation. We have still not restored this nation. I hope that you can stand at the center, become the central figures that can expand this environment so that this nation can return to Heaven and receive the Blessings of Heaven, to become a Blessed nation. You can create that nation. Will you do that responsibility? (Yes!)

So, all of you are truly Blessed. You have the strong backing of Heaven. There is nothing you need to be afraid of. In the history of the providence, you know this truth and you need to reveal this truth. Do not keep this truth to yourselves.

Please, in this world, there are 7.3 billion people around the world, and, I have even heard that there are 7.4 billion people around the world. Human population is increasing exponentially; and, it is important to tell everyone that True Parents are on this earth. If they do not know this and ascend to the spirit world, if they understand that True Parents were on this earth, how resentful, how sorrowful, how much will they regret and also be angry against you? Please take this point seriously.

Through you, I hope that many new lives can be saved. That because you are not sharing the good news, many people do not know that True Parents are on this earth; and, they cannot see True Parents and come to True Parents. Have you thought about this?

Looking at today's world, it is difficult to see any hope. Even in America, there are so many challenges laying ahead. In particular, the world's super powers place their national interests first. They are filled with individualism and selfishness. God does not want that. God wishes to realize One Family Under God. God wishes to realize one united family; but, there are nations that are going contrary to God's Will. Super powers like America, Russia, China, Europe. These nations are filled with self-centered individualism. You cannot find God in the midst of self-centeredness. Do you understand?

Your pride is True Parents; and, you received the Blessing from True Parents. That is your pride. If you grow up well, properly, during the Aloha Workshop, I told that you are all the pure water, isn't it? You are pure water. You are the truly pure water with no pollution. You should rule as this pure water. Do you understand? Through you, we need to purify this world. Please, you stand in this position of 'Owner.' You stand in the position pf the person in charge. You stand in the proud position.

For the first time in 6,000 years, the only-begotten Daughter, The True Parents are on this earth and you met The True Parents very closely. You heard Their Message and you received the Love of True Parents directly. Please do not keep it for yourselves. Do you understand? The more you share your Blessing, the more you expand your Blessings, the better. Do you understand?

Please, you are the young people. I would like to hear louder response. (much louder more enthusiastic response and Mother smiles) Do you understand? That is how you are alive. Be loud. Will you do that? (louder applause cheers)

Do you know how old I am? I don’t know if you realize it, but jet lag in your forties, fifties or sixties feels different from jet lag in your seventies. Since I landed in America, I haven’t had any time to rest. President [Ki-hoon] Kim gave me a very tight schedule. Everywhere I went, I gave a speech. Even here, he said we are having a victory banquet and asked if I could give another speech. Don’t you think that is a bit rude? [Laughter.] This child, he is overworking his Parent. [Laughter.]

When will I be able to receive your filial piety? It is my hope that you will take responsibility wherever you are. You are in blessed families, which in itself is a responsibility. You must inform people about True Parents. Everywhere in this country, even the backwoods, you must let people know that True Parents are the Messiah, the returning Lord, the Savior, who are here on earth at this time with us.

Forty years have passed since we initiated the providential history in America. A few days ago I proclaimed at the Senate that I am the True Parent and the Messiah. It was a little late, but I proclaimed it. This should have happened while True Father was alive. However, you are in luck: You can still fulfill your responsibilities while I am still here on earth. Especially America -- God blessed and chose this country for the providence and wants to embrace the world through this country. Therefore, at the center of your nation are the True Parents.

The original owner of the universe is God. Everything that you own belongs to God. You are borrowing it all from God. That is why you should pay back what you owe. Do you understand? How much interest do you think what you owe has compounded over 6,000 years? There would even be interest on the interest, don’t you think? If you consider that, you must absolutely restore this country and the world at this time. Will you do it? [Applause.] You can’t wait much longer. You must succeed while I am alive. If you do that, Heaven will mark you as their own. When you consider this, you must change your thoughts and actions 180 degrees from what they are now. Will you do that? Then everyone get up and shout aloud that you will do it. [I will do it, True Mother!] Let us sing together.

Due to Adam and Eve's Fall, Heaven has had to endure a painful and difficult providence. Heaven has led the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity; Heaven could not help but follow this painful and difficult path.

In the beginning, God created heaven and earth, and lastly God created Adam and Eve to become the ancestors of humankind and said, "This is good. This is beautiful." However, God especially gave Adam and Eve responsibility; that responsibility consisted of them going through growing period and becoming absolutely one with God. Adam and Eve should have grown in this way. The point at which Adam and Eve would have received the Blessing would have been the point at which God became the True Parents of humankind, which was the purpose behind God's creation of heaven and earth -- God's dream.

However, Adam and Eve, who should have fulfilled their responsibility as expressed in the Bible, fell due to the Satan's temptation. They became greedy and self-centered; they began to look towards themselves. It is the same with you. You cannot fulfill the purpose of your existence separated from True Parents. Having received blessings, you have a responsibility; that responsibility entails that until you have reached perfection, you must become absolutely one with True Parents.

Wherever you may be -- whether you are studying or developing your talents and abilities -- you should think always in this way: I am doing this, and I would like to offer this to True Parents. This is what True Parents would like me to do. I will take responsibility for this area and be triumphant and successful for True Parents. That is kind of desire, that kind of ambition is good. However, allowing in self-centeredness will lead to anger. The greatest wish of fallen human being is to meet True Parents, to be saved through True Parent; that is their greatest wish. Whether they are aware of providence, or not, they are waiting for the absolute owner, an absolute being who can preside over creation.

We can see this in the four major religions, but this belief is most prominent in Christianity. This is because even though Christianity could not fully explain God, Christians believed God was their Father. Originally, God's purpose for creating was to become humankind's parent. It is difficult to explain vaguely but God is our Father. At the time of Creation, beginning with the smallest microorganism all the way to the animal world, God created everything in pairs. God created humankind in pairs too. If that is the case, God, our Heavenly Parent, is not just male. During the history of providence of indemnity, for the sake of restoration, God selected the chosen people, who in comparison to the rest of the fallen world were a good people with the ideology of the chosen people. God selected these people and developed them. How difficult that process must have been that it took four thousand years to develop the foundation from the individual, the family, the tribe, the people and then to the nation.

Four thousand years -- how difficult it must have been! It took four thousand years until God gave birth to his only begotten son in the fallen world, a son that God could call "my son." How painful this must have been for God. However, Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, did not understand the providence. She did not know all that had transpired in order for her to be able to give birth to Jesus. It was same with Zechariah's family, Joseph's family, Judaism and the people of Israel: All of them waited and yearned, asking God to send the Messiah, and Heaven kept that promise.

Heaven sent the Messiah, but the environment to protect Jesus, could not be achieved. How it is possible that God would prepare for four thousand years to send the only begotten son and then have Jesus not live for a hundred years but go through crucifixion at the age of thirty-three? How can you consider this as salvation? God endured so much pain and suffering, and yet he had to prepare and try again. Through Christian history, God has worked to develop the providence.

From God's point of view, the two-thousand-year history of Christianity in God's providence has been the providence to find the God's begotten daughter. You need to understand this point. As Jesus hung on the cross, he promised to come again. He said he would come to host the marriage supper of the Lamb. To have a marriage, you need to have a bride. Jesus gave the message, the word, so that everyone would fully understand. That is why God's only begotten daughter must appear in the Messiah's presence. You are all looking at the person; it is I, True Mother. I would like to explain this to you using historical evidence.

God has appointed central figures because human beings, with their limited understanding, cannot fully explain God. Because of the Fall, God has to select -- from among fallen people -- a central figure who is better than all other people in the fallen world. If a central figure were to fail in his or her responsibility, God would forgive the person but he could not fulfill the providence through that person again. One who fails in one's responsibility must then pay indemnity. The same is true for a nation. The Israelites sent Jesus to the cross. From that moment the value of their existence as nation was lost. Even today, in America are Jewish people, who for two thousand years lived as people without a nation. Because of Hitler in Germany, six millions Jews were mercilessly massacred.

This is an unimaginable and terrifying crime. The Jews do not understand why Heaven would allow such a heinous crime to happen. Heaven waited for a particular moment and endured many unimaginable difficulties. During Jesus' time if Jesus had received recognition as True Parent, he would have absorbed Rome's foundation. Rome would have had no choice but to accept Jesus as the True Parent. If that had happened two thousand years ago, in Jesus' time, the realization of the world centered on God, the kingdom of heaven on earth, would have followed. However, the people of Israel were responsible for this being unable to happen. You can imagine the indemnity they had to pay was extreme; this is historical fact. God only begotten daughter could not be found at the time of Jesus, so Heaven had to restore the foundation to give birth to God's only begotten daughter. God could no longer work through the people of Israel and had to select a different people.

Around that time, the Dongi tribe was in Asia. When selecting the chosen people, God must find righteous people among fallen human being and give them the responsibility. This was during Han Clan Empire. Between 800 and 400 B.C., the Dongi tribe prospered in what is today is China. Those people revered Heaven, and they developed extraordinary advanced astronomy. They developed agriculture. They became the chosen people. The Han people also loved white clothes. Every time they made devotion, they would dress in white and bow Heaven in reverence. Those people existed during same time as other kingdoms in China. Eventually, since people in the Han Empire did not like fighting and always tried to avoid war, they fled from place to place until they reached the Korean Peninsula. They eventually came to be known as the nation of Korea.

When you look at the history of Korea, people say it has a five-thousand-year history. If you look at Korea's history, you can see that a kingdom called Goguryeo vanquished many Chinese kingdoms. That kingdom of Goguryeo endured for about thousand years. However, after Goguryeo kingdom, the next kingdom to rise was Goryeo. They used the "go" character from Goguryeo and named themselves Goryoe. After the downfall of Goryeo Kingdom, king Yi raised a new kingdom called Joseon, meaning "new kingdom." In Korea's past, from among one of the earliest kingdoms, we had Gojoseon, and king Yi used "Jeseon" from "Gojoseon," to name new kingdom. Unfortunately, Japan occupied the kingdom of Jeseon for forty years -- 1945, Korea was liberated.

You have more time to develop this potential than we had with the first generation. That is why you must grow up well. Truly, Heaven has blessed all of you with their firm support. You need not be afraid of anything. You know the truth of providential history and it's now time for you to reveal the truth. You must not keep the truth to yourselves. There are 7.3 billion people in the world. I hear there are now 7.4 billion people. The human population is increasing exponentially.

It is important to tell every one of them that True Parents on earth. If they do not know this, later when they realize that True Parents were on earth, how sorrowful and regretful they will fell. Please take this point seriously. Your pride is your relationship to True Parents and that you received the blessing from them. I told you during the Aloha Workshop that you are all pure water. You are unpolluted water. You should grow as this pure water. Through you, we need to purify the world, so please arise in the proud position of owner, as the person in charge.

For the first time in six thousand years, God's only begotten daughter, the True Parents, are on earth. You have met True Parents in person, you have heard their message, and received love directly from them. Please do not keep that to yourselves. The more you share your blessing, the more you extend your blessing, the better.

God is our Parent; when God created the world, He began with a purpose

Beloved members of the American Clergy Leadership Conference, I am happy to see you today.

God is our Parent. When God created the world, He began with a purpose. God has been waiting for the human ancestors, the True Parents, who will fulfill their responsibilities according to this purpose. This messianic concept has been prevalent throughout fallen human history.

As you are well aware from the Bible, God had a dream for humankind. Human beings also had great hope of returning to our Heavenly Parent, God. However, Adam and Eve, who were to become the first true human ancestors, had fallen, and because of their mistake, indemnity had to be paid. Unless indemnity was paid, the providence could not move forward even one step. That is why God had to lead the providence of restoration and the salvation of humankind.

These days I have been speaking on numerous topics, and I began to think about the flood in Noah’s time. This flood happened in a particular geographical location, but God had raised Noah as the central figure so that Heaven could find God’s children in this satanic world. God chose a central figure for that reason. However, after the flood, Noah, as the Bible says, lay down and slept. Noah had three children, whom I’m sure you’re well aware of. They were Shem, the first son; Ham, the second son; and Japheth, the third son.

Ham, seeing his father lying naked, was ashamed of him. That act led to the family not uniting with the central figure. Do you understand what I am trying to say? In order for fallen humanity to return to God, absolute love, absolute faith and absolute obedience are required. No self-centeredness can pollute this standard, so even though Ham was Noah’s son, his lack of faith and his shame toward his father became a condition. A condition resulted in the three sons dividing.

What am I trying to say? Regarding the central figure whom Heaven appoints, there must be complete unity. We cannot allow self-centeredness, greed or jealousy to invade that standard, because that is how we lay the foundation to return to Heaven. Today, however, we can see that America is rife with issues, isn’t it? Meanwhile, wars and unfathomable conflicts are happening all over the world. How can we create a unified world of peace?

Many people with great ideals and goodwill have made effort. Many religions, too, have made tremendous effort to solve these issues. Originally, God wished to restore fallen human beings. For that purpose, God raised the chosen people, so that human beings could unite. God inspired the messianic ideology, so that humankind would be prepared to accept the Messiah.

However, the process of taking a single step forward at the time was so difficult that it took 4,000 biblical years and the laying of countless indemnity conditions for Heaven to send the Messiah. Heaven kept its promise; Heaven sent the Messiah. What happened when Jesus finally arrived among the people of Israel? Unfortunately, they were unable to unite with him. The people of Israel were unable to accept Jesus, and then they went down a difficult path and paid a lot of indemnity, as you are well aware.

Today, especially the clergy must teach [the people] properly about God. To enlighten people properly about God, we must know that the central figures of this providence of restoration through indemnity are the Savior, the Messiah and the True Parents. Hence, when it comes to teaching and sharing the good news with the members of your congregation, please align and unite with True Parents. You ought to teach your congregation from that aligned position.

The hope of humanity is to realize a world of peace. Humanity’s hope is to realize a world of peace, freedom, unity, and happiness, in which we attend God as our Parent. To realize that kind of world, we need to change. This means that we need to move away from the realm of indemnity; we need to receive the Blessing from True Parents and be born again through that. Unless we are born again, we cannot change. Isn’t that true? Therefore, I hope that each one of you can give your best effort in all of your endeavors and undertakings.

I know you are doing your very best. However, I would like to emphasize that this time is particularly important; these periods do not happen all the time. During the time when the Savior, the returning Messiah, the True Parents, are on the earth, your achievements will be greatly recognized by Heaven and by humanity. If you fulfill your responsibilities, people will revere you. You will be able to stand in True Parents’ presence in the new era, Cheon Il Guk, which True Parents have opened.

What is Cheon Il Guk? It is an era in which two become one. It is an era in which couples unite. To become citizens who live in the Cheon Il Guk era, we must go beyond the realm of paying indemnity. This means that we need to receive the Blessing from True Parents. Do you agree?

Receiving the Blessing entails responsibility. The more you share happiness, the greater that happiness becomes. Happiness is not selfish. Happiness is not self-centered. Happiness engenders altruism, sharing that happiness with all 7.3 billion people. The day that all 7.3 billion people are happy is when we all receive the Blessing. I hope that you all will work hard to achieve this ideal. All races are beautiful in God’s eyes.

I am saying do not hold prejudices. If we look into it, we are all brothers and sisters. Thinking that one person is higher or another is lower is an incorrect way of thinking. From the position of attending God as our Parent, all human beings are equal. Unfortunately, because of the Human Fall, as a result of humans having fallen, True Parents are necessary, absolutely. Do you understand?

Therefore, around the world we can see many issues and problems today. An individual alone cannot solve these problems. Let us attend True Parents as the center and solve these problems one by one. In particular, Heaven chose this nation of America for a special mission. There is no doubt about it. This nation was chosen to lay the foundation for the returning Messiah. Heaven blessed America for this purpose. We have learned about the nations Heaven chose throughout history. When those nations failed in their responsibilities, we know that indemnity had to be paid. I believe that even this nation is not an exception to that rule. Therefore, Rev. Moon came to this country very early and invested forty years of his life, investing himself completely.

Yet for America to become a nation, a people, that repays grace with grace and fulfills its responsibilities toward Heaven’s providence with gratitude, I believe the American people need you to enlighten all of them. That is the only way this nation can become a nation that fulfills its obligations. Please remember this. I hope that you can have this attitude in revealing the truth and be bold, be proud, be strong; march forward courageously.

Following Adam and Eve’s creation, God said: This is good; this is beautiful

I am so happy to see all of you. What would like me to talk about with you today? I will speak to you about God.

God, the Creator, created heaven and earth; beginning from the smallest microorganisms to all the great animals. He created everything in pairs. Lastly, God created the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve. Following Adam and Eve’s creation, God said, This is good; this is beautiful.

God had a dream, and that dream consisted of Adam and Eve going through a growth period to receive the Blessing from God. Through their Blessing, as the first human ancestors, they would have been with God and would have become the True Parents of humankind.

Unfortunately, Adam and Eve, during their growth period, allowed themselves to succumb to selfcenteredness. This became the cause of the Fall. For human beings to achieve absolute oneness with God, they had to unite from a position of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. However, Adam and Eve could not become the good ancestors of humanity. Instead, they became the ancestors of Satan’s world; they became fallen ancestors to fallen humanity.

The beginning and end of the omniscient and omnipotent God must be the same. Once he begins something, he must be victorious without fail. That is why God had to begin the providence of salvation to restore human beings. This was not easy.

Although human beings have been striving to live lives of virtue and goodness, they could not become closer to God. Why is that? Because human beings were ignorant of how to rectify what had gone wrong. Under those circumstances, in order to save human beings, God began the providence to restore fallen human beings. He selected and raised the chosen people of Israel. God developed the messianic ideology through the chosen people, and God promised that he would send the Messiah among them.

Nevertheless, how difficult must that course have been given that it took so long, four thousand years! When God sent Jesus, the Messiah, there was a powerful empire, the Roman Empire, about which people said, “All roads lead to Rome.” Because Rome at that time was suffering internally from corruption, if the people of Israel had fully accepted and united with Jesus, they would have had the opportunity to absorb Rome within the Messiah’s sphere. Unfortunately, what happened? Instead of protecting Jesus, instead of supporting Jesus so that he could fulfill his responsibilities, Mary failed in hers. Though Mary gave birth to Jesus through many miracles, in the end she was unable to support him.

I’m sure you know from the many stories in the Bible that Zachariah’s family, Joseph’s family, and Judaism -- the people of Israel, did not fulfill their responsibilities. Jesus eventually could not avoid taking the path of the cross, having lost the entire foundation that Heaven had prepared for him. As he hung on the cross, however, Jesus said he would come again. He said he would return and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. Christianity today must understand this clearly. The returning Messiah comes to host the marriage supper of the Lamb.

At the time, the people of Israel, the Jewish people including Mary, should have enabled Jesus to meet the only begotten daughter, so that Jesus could become the True Parent of humankind. That is how the providence centering on Jesus would have advanced, and through the Roman Empire, God’s providence would have expanded throughout the world and God’s kingdom on earth could have manifested.

Heaven had worked so hard and had waited for so long for the day the Messiah would come. How painful it must have been when Jesus had to go the way of the cross. Christians, who did not know this internal providence, caused many problems. Especially in the Middle Ages, the Catholic Church, centered on the Pope, was rife with corruption. Therefore, the Reformation took place, and in the sixteenth century, there were people who left to search for a place in which they could attend God freely.

Rather than practicing a faith void of truth in a system made by man, the Puritans left the old continent in search of a new continent, so that they could practice a religion in which they could worship God directly. These immigrants were the Pilgrim Fathers.

Native people were already living on the new continent. However, Heaven took the side of those immigrants, the Pilgrims. Why do you think that was? It was so that the foundation to welcome the returning Messiah could be established; that was their mission. That is America’s mission. America was blessed in that way. That is why, following World War II, the United States rose to become the number one superpower, isn’t that so?

However, we need to think carefully about something now: Fallen human beings cannot freely return to God. They need to reach the standard of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. To reach that standard, they need to find a model as their central figure. America must fulfill that responsibility.

Unfortunately, the forces of individualism, selfishness and extreme self-centeredness as well as the breakdown of the family, teenage delinquency and drug abuse have shaken America to its core, so that it has lost its moral values.

At the same time, Rev. Moon left the small nation of Korea in Asia and came to America. Why did he come? He was aware of Heaven’s providence. He understood that if America fails in its responsibilities, God’s dream will not be realized and will be delayed further.

Father said he had come as a doctor to treat America’s disease and as a firefighter to extinguish the flame of moral breakdown. At the time that Father said those things, America had many outstanding religious leaders. Not long after Father arrived, in 1976, three hundred thousand people came to the Washington Monument. This multitude gathered to hear Father’s message: God had blessed America; America must awaken and America must attend God. America’s blessings came from God; do not forget that. Take responsibility, America -- this was Father’s message.

Father called all conscientious people to awaken. At that time, many American intellectuals participated in True Father’s providence. In the midst of this situation, communism was a threat to America, which was facing serious challenges in overcoming that threat. A third of the world was communist at that time. Through South America, communist forces were threatening the North American continent.

Nonetheless, although many righteous people were in America, some politicians and intellectuals could not fully understand the communist threat. At the time, many were self-centered and living self-centered lives. Though it had not been long since Father came from Korea, within a few years, Father had awakened America. Only by awakening America, could the entire world come within God’s embrace. He was the Messiah and the True Parents, which is why he came to rescue America. Father founded the Washington Times in Washington, DC, for this reason, because he truly wanted to educate the conservative politicians of America, so that they would be able to overcome the threat of communism. Rev. Moon is the person who achieved all of this.

One unfortunate situation is that some people in the United States were ignorant of the providence and of the mission America had received. Because of them, Father had to go to prison in Danbury. Ladies and gentlemen, please consider how this serious mistake was possible. What indemnity can you pay to atone for this? Father came to this nation in order to save it and the entire world, so that all fallen human beings could return to God. The True Parents are absolutely necessary and supporting the Messiah is absolutely necessary. Becoming a hindrance to the work of the Messiah is a serious mistake.

The majority of you are in blessed families, blessed by True Parents. This Blessing was not just for your sake. Blessed families have been given a responsibility. When you fulfill that responsibility, your blessings will be even greater. God’s wish and humanity’s hope is to have a world of happiness without wars. That circumstance for everyone being united centering on God is the parent–child relationship.

However, fallen human beings cannot stand by themselves as God’s children. Fallen human beings are wild olive trees; they need True Parents, who are the true olive trees, in order to become true olive trees. Through the True Parents’ Blessing, you can go through rebirth.

When we look at phenomena in the world today, no hope exists anywhere. For millennia, war has been a part of history: religious discord, religious wars, differences of ideology. Wealthy nations are selfcentered and engage in war to take even more than they already have. Looking at this reality, if history continues in this way, nothing guarantees the lives, the existence of human beings. Furthermore, we cannot preserve this beautiful planet due to careless and irresponsible human beings who are destroying it.

Today the weather forecast was very good, but the wind was very strong. You can see that the climate is changing; the environment is changing due to pollution, even in America, right? Phenomena such as tornadoes and floods are increasing in severity. Air pollution is also causing trouble. Because of air pollution, every year more than six hundred thousand children, even babies, suffer health problems and some even die.

One member said that the 7.3 billion people on earth soon will become 7.4 billion, but of the numbers of people being born, some children die, before they are even able to live. When we see this reality, in particular in developed nations, these nations must prepare for the future.

We need to put this into practice, which is why in the beginning of next year I want to revive the International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS).

Until now, the development of science has enabled great prosperity and material development. Sadly, some have misused science for destructive purposes. For example, science has become an accomplice in the development of weapons of war. If we let things continue in this way, the planet won’t be able to go on. Originally, God created the earth, and we need to restore it to its original pristine state. For that, we need scientists to research ways to do that.

America must take the lead in this initiative. This country must not let go of True Parents’ hands. Do you understand? Any person, any nation that Heaven has blessed will have tremendous troubles it fails in its responsibilities. We have to complete our responsibilities; we may face tremendous indemnity if we fail. America is the same. This country, which Heaven has blessed, must fulfill its responsibilities. Heavenly Parent and the True Parents wish to embrace all of humanity.

In particular, through True Parents, the United States was blessed as the Eldest Son Nation. When the parents are alive, the eldest son and all the children must fulfill their duties. They must understand their parents’ hearts, and strive to realize the parents’ wishes. That is their responsibility. True Father is in spirit world, and if I pass away as well, how can you be filial children? Where will the filial children be after we are gone? Even if you do become filial children, who will praise you? Please remember that this moment is extremely precious. Okay?

America is a microcosm of the world. All the different races are here. Isn’t that right? The percentage of white people in America is declining. This is a mixed-race place, with all races, a beautiful color. God is love, and you can truly feel it when you come to America. I feel that as well when I see all of your faces.

Now those of you who have received the Blessing -- 2020 isn’t far away. Only three years remain. This nation, these people, in front of God and the world, must fulfill their responsibilities. The current situation just cannot continue. Do you understand?

Ladies and gentlemen, you must hurry and becomes ten times, a hundred times busier starting from now. There are many people waiting for you. People cannot just know you; they must know True Parents, the Messiah. Tell them and testify that the True Parents are here on earth right now. We need to do that in order to guarantee a future for humanity. Keep in mind that we need to do that in order for one family under God, the Heavenly Parent’s dream, the wish of humanity, to come to fruition.

It has been a while since I’ve seen your faces, and I too am happy. Next time we meet, I hope you will have more people sitting next to you. This country has fifty states. I would like to hear, This person from this state restored the whole state.

If you have a state that you truly love, do your best to restore that state and connect it to the restoration of the nation and the world. Will you work hard for that? Next year, for True Parents’ birthday celebration I want to receive a report saying how many states have been restored in America.

Let us pledge that Heavenly Parent and True Parents can believe in you and that through you, we all can realize this dream, and pledge to make Heavenly Parent and True Parents proud and be their filial sons and daughters. Will you do that? I will be very proud of you in front of the world. I can believe in you all. Yes? I love you.

I hope that while True Parents are on earth, we can fulfill our responsibility

Are you all American members? I see Japanese members too. Has it been a while since you’ve seen me? I have spoken for a long time already, and they are asking me to speak again.

Among you, who went yesterday to the Kennedy Caucus Room event? Did you hear what I said? Who are you? You received the Blessing from True Parents, and you are True Parents’ children. Isn’t that so? If that is the case, doesn’t each one of you have a responsibility? I hope that while True Parents are on earth, we can fulfill this responsibility. What do you think: Should we accomplish it now or after a few centuries? We should do it now. Right now.

Please think about that. Our Heavenly Parent and True Parents have worked so hard because of the Fall that was committed by the first human ancestors. It took six thousand years, as shown in the Bible. During this tremendously long time, God has worked, but He could not fully embrace humanity as His beloved children. God was lonely and experienced a sorrowful, miserable existence during that time. Through True Parents we are able to know who God really is. We must become filial sons and daughters. Isn’t that right? Filial sons and daughters are children who fulfill their responsibilities while True Parents are alive.

This morning I met with the regional leaders and other leaders. Regarding yesterday’s event, they expressed their gratitude to True Parents, but they were also sorry, asking, “Why couldn’t we do this? Why couldn’t we fulfill our responsibilities while Father was alive?" They repented.

Henceforth, the work that we are doing is full of hope!

We should work together, shouldn’t we? If that is the case, I hope that all of you can invest yourselves completely, be ready to give your life, and put into practice what you have pledged.

I would like to emphasize this once more: Heaven has truly blessed America. That is undeniable. Originally the owners of this continent were the native people. All of you who are here today were originally immigrants. Isn’t that right? You immigrants are making a lot of noise.

America is indebted to Asia. You have to understand that. America is indebted also to Africa, and an indebted person cannot eternally have Heaven’s blessing. Even if you have to pay indemnity, you must fulfill your responsibilities.

Therefore, let us live our lives for the sake of others. Let us practice this true love. Let America practice this true love. Whoever becomes president, let us enlighten the president about living for the sake of others. That is your mission. The Washington Times must fulfill that mission.

Not just America, but the entire world will fill with hope.

Of course, many things need to be resolved. The most important point is that all of humanity—all 7.3 billion people in the world—must become Heavenly Parent’s children. God created all of heaven and earth. He created this beautiful earth. God’s original creation was beautiful and healthy. We must return this earth to that environment. America must take care of this earth.

Until now, America has committed many sins against the environment and has not been the best steward of creation. Due to the air pollution, each year six hundred thousand children and newborns die from pollution-related ailments. The place where this is felt most acutely is India.

Therefore, America must take the lead. Oil businesses—these are not the best. We need to find better ways. Let’s use solar power. Let’s use natural, renewable energy. Let’s bring about a new industrial revolution.

In thirty years, we might deplete many of the oil resources we have. Therefore, in order to look to future generations, in order for the earth to remain healthy and beautiful for future generations, we need to take action. Otherwise, there is no future.

I hope that The Washington Times will continuously lead this enlightenment. We need to educate people because they do not know. Right now we cannot look only to the next day. Think of your descendants.

Because I am in the position of True Parent, each day for me is not easy. Everything that you do not worry about, I need to be concerned about. Isn’t that so?

However, I’m not young. While True Parents are on earth, I hope that Americans can be the best filial sons and daughters who fulfill their responsibilities and do their best. That is the recognition we must take with us when we ascend. That is the way to become noble families in Heaven. That is your position right now. Please remember that. Whether asleep or awake, please unite with True Parents, work with True Parents, do your best and be victorious. This is my hope for you, each one of you. Thank you.
