God's dream is to become the True Parent of humankind through the people

Sit down. Did you enjoy the hamburger? It’s the best isn’t it?

Your answer was a bit slow. You are young, so you can study. In order to become one world, one culture, and one human family, the principle is that you should live using True Parents’ language. So, should you study Korean; or should you be idle? When I see you, I think of the time when I was young. At a very young age, I made up my mind and said, “I will take responsibility for the completion of the providence.” At that time, I was alone, but you… you have many siblings. Isn’t that so? Therefore, you must help each other and gain strength.

During this time, you have heard and studied lectures and True Parents’ life courses, but God, who created all things in the universe, our Creator, the Heavenly Parent, had a dream. That dream was for God to become the True Parent of humankind through the people who could become the first human ancestors. Due to God giving human beings responsibility according to the principle of creation, Adam and Eve, who could have become humankind’s ancestors, should have accomplished that responsibility. However, in the growth stage, they fell to Satan’s temptation and developed greed. They wanted to become like God before the time was right. That was the Fall. God cannot just abandon fallen humankind and create people that could become new ancestors of humankind. God wished to become the parent through humankind in accordance with the principle of creation. That is why God had no choice but to begin the providence of restoration through indemnity. How sorrowful, lonely, and sad must that course have been?

It took four-thousand years until God’s only son, the second attempt to realize God’s dream, could be sent. It wasn’t four hundred years or forty -- but four thousand years. In order to create that foundation, Heaven raised a huge Cain-type nation. That was, two thousand years ago, when God’s only son, Jesus Christ, was to come. Israel was at the level to go forward. It was not an independent nation. There was a great empire called the Roman Empire. At that time there was no one who recognized Jesus Christ, God’s only son. Mary who bore Jesus, was unaware of Heaven’s providence. She did not know why God’s only son had come. The figures around Jesus -- Zachariah’s family, figures in Judaism, the Israelites -- knew God even less. That is why they made decisions using human thought. The surrounding people, who should have cooperated, did not cooperate; in that situation, the environment developed into one in which Jesus could no longer proceed with the providence alone. Jesus had no choice but to go the way of the cross. As he died, he said he would return -- he would return and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. The central figures should have been aware of this then. If God’s only son had been born, God’s only daughter had to be found. Heaven would have prepared that, too. However, those that should have taken responsibility could not take responsibility. Due to that, what happened to the people and nation of Israel for the next two thousand years? They were pitiful Israelites that had no nation. For two thousand years, they lived as a nationless people and endured persecution. God’s only son, whom Heaven had waited and waited for, for four thousand years died on the cross.

Afterward, for 2,000 years, those in the Christian cultural sphere had to prepare for God’s only daughter. Before Jesus said that he would return to hold the marriage supper of the Lamb, the spot for God’s only son is already here. Christianity must become the foundation to prepare for God’s only daughter, but today’s Christianity does not realize this. Catholics especially attend Mary as the Holy Mother. Poor Jesus, who died on the cross, has also been hanging from the cross until now as Christians cry out for salvation. You know the principle. What is the providence of salvation? What is the goal of the providence of salvation? An individual alone cannot fulfill it. Don’t you agree? That dream, which Heaven has longed for, is the parent, the family. Therefore, until now, the people who believed in Christianity could not go to heaven. Heaven is the place the True Family enters. It is a place those who have not received the blessing through True Parents True Parents! Do you know how precious the True Parents are? New life, new lineage through True Parents! That means, going out in the position of the blessing. Do you understand? Blessed families are precious. However, that family must fulfill their responsibility. Responsibility! If you cannot do that, you cannot come close to the True Parents.

A baby lives in its mother’s womb for ten months. Once a child is out in the world, there is no guarantee the child will live to a hundred but life on earth is important. This is because you have to learn the providence, meet True Parents, receive True Parents’ teachings and become true children. If you do not do that, you have no connection to heaven. The ones who gave this precious gift to humankind are the True Parents! You cannot be the only ones to know these True Parents. All humankind, the entire world, must know them. You have to give others the responsibility and the opportunity.

Looking back, those in the Christian cultural sphere, who were unable to not fulfill their responsibilities, were able to begin after three hundred years. Rome acknowledged Christianity, which went from the Italian Peninsula across Europe to reach the island of Britain. Then through the oceanic providence of the Atlantic Civilization, key nations of the Atlantic Civilization such as Britain or Spain conquered countries around the world. They set off with the Christian culture. Yet they did not know Jesus’ true nature. At first, they shared Christianity but because they did not know God and were selfish and individualistic, they later took away those cultures; in frank terms, they stole. Thus, if you visit England, go to the British Museum and you will see collections of artifacts from nations they had colonized on display.

Nevertheless, I am speaking of the age of Atlantic civilization. Today, all the nations in Asia, now, must unite with Korea, the land that gave birth to True Parents. One hundred years ago, the Indian Poet Tagore said this… At that time, Korea was a Japanese colony. Looking towards Korea, he said “Korea! …that lamp is waiting to be lighted once again for the illumination of the East,” which means through the True Parents, the light is the truth. Through True Parents, through True Parents’ words, that truth will spread and the nations that accept that will become equal in the same age! They will be united. We cannot just stay in Asia. We must go out to the world. Therefore, centered on the ocean, the Pacific Ocean True Parents’ ideology will spread. Living for the sake of others. A life of giving. They will know the True Parents, who give and give, forget they have given, and give again. This is True Parents’ and Heavenly Parent’s wish and dream.

Even those who live in the fallen world, because of their conscience, wish to live a good life. That is why we now have the four great religions. Religions teach us how to live good and kind lives. Yet in the end, “What must I do?” They do not know that final purpose. Only those in the Family Federation, who know True Parents, know this. When we go out into the world with this truth, among all the people of the world, we will find righteous people, prepared people. When they hear this truth, how grateful will they be? Don’t you think that when through you, other people, encounter True Parents and their ideology they will feel that meeting True Parents is the same as meeting the Creator, Heavenly Parent? Will they cry tears of gratitude, or not? Won’t they be grateful? That makes you all saviors! Saviors! I told blessed families to fulfill the role of Heavenly Tribal Messiahs. You cannot stop at your tribe; you must think of all of the world’s 7.4 billion people. Don’t young people walk faster than older people? Your energy, your stamina, your heart of filial piety toward Heaven forges a path that will save the 7.4 billion people of the world. If that doesn’t bring light to the world, what would? Isn’t that so? Through you, the world’s people will see the light. That means they will know True Parents. We must do this. Don’t you agree? Yes. Thank you.

Freeing Your Ancestors is Grace from True Parents

Beloved blessed families! On your way here, what type of heart did you come with? Did you come with hearts of anticipation and gratitude? You all are joyful people. The course of heaven's providence in seeking fallen humankind has been very difficult. You have learned from the word how difficult was the course -- the long period of four thousand years -- until sending God's only son, Jesus Christ, was possible….

Christian culture is the providence of seeking God's only daughter, who had gone undiscovered at that time. However, Christians today do not know what is correct or how to overcome indemnity to meet the true owner. Heaven chose the Korean people, who were able to seek the foundation for God's only daughter and who found God's only daughter, born bare of all indemnity conditions and without original sin….

Since liberation, this nation has spent sixty-seven years between democracy and communism, unable to unite. No ideology or doctrine can do this. Neither religious nor economic strength can do it. Only through uniting with the True Parents, the true owner, is unification possible. Today, you all have gathered at a very important place. This place -- where you learned through the works of the holy spirit of Dae-Mo nim, who gave birth to God's only daughter, instructed you through difficulties, and guided you on the path of becoming devoted children to Heavenly Parent and True Parents -- is uniquely under True Parents' authority. That is why those of you who have gathered here today are at a connecting point of three eras. You are in the place where you can become historic central figures and historic ancestors of human beings of the past, present, and future. Your responsibility is to liberate all your ancestors, all those in the spirit world, who throughout history, until now, have been unable to meet True Parents.

I'm referring to ancestor liberation and ancestor blessing. Do you understand? That work cannot be done away from Chung Pyung. Do not forget that as God's homeland this nation has the responsibility and mission to guide all the world's 7.4 billion people to Heaven's embrace. You must fulfill your responsibilities as tribal messiahs in your families. Looking toward the future, you have received the opportunity to become ancestors that your descendants can be proud of for a long time.

Only three years remain until 2020. You must be victorious and proudly dedicate to Heavenly Parent this nation, in which God can dwell and reign freely. The owner of this nation is Heavenly Parent. Politicians say they will take responsibility for this nation. If such people exist, they must receive a seal from True Parents.

Shouldn't a person who will establish a nation in which Heavenly Parent can spread his grand will freely, take on that responsibility? Therefore, it cannot end here. Christian culture spread to the world through the Atlantic civilization. We, centered on True Parents, together with other Asian nations will open the Pacific civilization, [and achieve] the dream our Creator, Heavenly Parent wishes for, one human family under God, the wish of all of humankind -- nations of peace and happiness! I earnestly wish you to become proud, active workers for peace who will bind the world as one to create the kingdom of heaven on earth centered on God.

2017 Azalea Festival: "Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration" in the age of True Parents' Direct Dominion"

"On the 2nd day of the "2017 Azalea Festival for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune, HyoJeong Chung Pyung Special Great Works", which was on 4.11 of the heavenly calendar in the 5th year of Cheon Il Guk (May 6, 2017 of the solar calendar), the "HyoJeong Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration" of the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune was held at the Tree of Love Plaza in the Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and tens of thousands of Church members from around the world participated in this event. This Azalea Festival was a really significant Great Works. In welcoming the completion period of the Chung Pyung Providence on Apr. 3, 2017, True Parents changed the name of the Wish Papers from, "Fulfillment of Wish Paper" to "HyoJeong Wish Fulfillment Paper for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune." True Parents allowed us to use a new type of Wish Paper especially produced with water-soluble paper. It will be used for the first time at the 2017 Azalea Festival (May 5-7). All Church members on earth and ancestors in the spirit world were moved by this amazing grace and were really grateful.

True Mother's Address from the "Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration"

True Parents' precious words were given at part 1. After her address, we expressed great gratitude and pleasure for being with True Parents with loud applauses and cheers.

The Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration progressed with Part 1, True Parents Address; Part 2, the Offering Ceremony of Wish Papers; and Part 3, Cultural Performance.

The Vice-President Myong-kwan Lee was the master of ceremony (MC) of Part 1, which started with Opening Remarks (MC), and then was followed by the Cheon Il Guk Anthem, the Family Pledge (MC), the Report to Heaven (President Gi-seong Lee), the Commemorative Video of Azalea Festival, True Parents' Entrance, the Gyeong bae (Bow), the Offering of Flowers (Jin-cheol Kim and Jin-hyeon Park Couple), True Parents' Address, the Four Cheers of Eog-manse (Special Emissary Chung Sik Yong), the Gyeong bae to True Parents, Exit of True Parents and finally, the Commemorative Video of Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration.

Part 2 of The Offering Ceremony of Wish Papers began with Opening Remarks (MC), which was followed by the Entrance of Attendants (10 couple of attendants), the Offering of Wish Papers (12 leaders), Entrance of Bearers of Offering Wish Papers (4 bearers), the Gratitude Report to Heaven (President Kyeong-seuk Ryu), the Offering Ceremony for Restoration (Intl. Pres. Sun Jin Moon and Vice- Pres. In Sup Park), the Prayer of Gratitude for the Fulfilment of Wishes (All Together), the Congratulatory Song (Fumika Goto) and the Election Performance.

Part 3, which was also led by the MC (Vice-President Myong-kwan Lee), began with a Japanese Drum Performance, a dance performance by Gyeonggi Provincial Dance Company, Little Angels and the Closing Remarks (MC) followed this.

At part 1, True Parents emphasized the importance of Chung Pyung Providence as follows:

"Today, you all have gathered at a very important place. This place -- where you learned through the works of the holy spirit of Dae-Mo nim, who gave birth to God's only daughter, instructed you through difficulties, and guided you on the path of becoming devoted children to Heavenly Parent and True Parents -- is uniquely under True Parents' authority. Let us think about how we can solve all the dark and gloomy problems that are occurring on earth today. The topic I hope to speak about to you today is "Heaven's providence and Korea's mission seen from the history of human civilization."

Originally, God the Creator made all things and then made Adam and Eve, who would become the ancestor of humankind, and he said that it was good. God gave Adam and Eve, who would become the ancestors of humankind responsibility. That responsibility was to go through the growth stages and live a life united with God's absolute position. However, during the growth stage the greed to look towards themselves formed. The greed of thinking "I can be the same as God" formed. Before the time was right, they made a mistake. Through that, the history of humankind ended up becoming the history of the Fall.

Almighty God

The omniscient and omnipotent God could not just stand back and watch fallen humankind. According to the principles underlying the Creation, he is a being in which the beginning and the end are the same. God cannot use the word "failure." That is why God had no choice but to begin the lonely and difficult history of the providence of restoration through indemnity to reach humankind.

Among the numerous fallen human beings, he chose the Israelites whom we could call a good people relative to others. How difficult must it have been that it took four thousand years to reach the standard from individual, family, tribe, race and nation? Then what happened when God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, who could have been the first ancestor that humankind longed for and who could realize God's dream of the purpose of creation? The Israelites, figures in Judaism, even Mary who gave birth to Jesus, and Zachariah's family could not fulfill their responsibilities. To protect Jesus, who came as the only son of God was their responsibility. In order for Jesus to become the True Parent, he had to meet the only daughter of God. Mary should have fulfilled her responsibility to create that foundation. Mary should not have had [her own] family while Jesus was still living alone. We must make right this errant past.

Jesus left us with a promise

Jesus, who had lost the foundation, had no choice but to go the way of the cross. Therefore, he said he would return He would return and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. Jesus promised absolutely to realize the position of True Parent that he had been unable to realize in his lifetime. In order to do that, on the foundation of Christianity, believers had to fulfill the responsibility of giving birth to the only daughter of God. When God works through an individual or nation, he does not reuse a people that did not fulfill its responsibility. This is because the people that did not fulfill their obligations have indemnity they must pass through. Through history, we can see what kind of life the Israelites had lived.

Heaven chose a good people to give birth to the only daughter of God. That people is what is today the Republic of South Korea. In light of that, you all have responsibilities. We cannot repeat the mistake of the Israelites who were unable to fulfill their obligations. This is because your descendants would be left with indemnity. Do you understand? After Jesus died on the cross, it took around three years for Christian culture finally to be accepted.

The Christian culture, which began centered on the Italian Peninsula passed through Europe and arrived at the island nation of Britain, through which the age of the Atlantic Civilization developed. Through that, Britain "spread" to the world centered on the sea. "The sun never sets on the British Empire" was a means of describing Britain's power. However, people of the Christian faith, who did not know Jesus' true nature could not cast aside selfishness, even though they spoke of love. As a result, they had no choice but to retreat.

Jesus' essence

The true nature of Jesus is true love. True love, is love that gives and give, forgets it has given and gives again. Though the European nations that achieved the realm of the Atlantic Civilization must have given something to the colonies they occupied, they made more effort to take. As a result, an environment developed in which the Atlantic Civilization could no longer be powerful.

It is also true, though, that all the European nations received the world's culture and through the Industrial Revolution were able to live prosperous lives. Yet, that was not a life lived for the sake of others. The mission of Christianity was to listen to Heaven's promise, when Jesus said he would return and hold the marriage supper of the lamb as he died on the cross, and prepare for that.

For those who represent Korean Christianity, obligation to fulfill that responsibility was theirs. However, there is no truth to Christianity. They do not even understand Jesus' true nature or how Heaven's providence is progressing. How can Christianity, which human thinking produced, crucify Jesus, who should have been attended as the True Parents, and leave him on the cross for two thousand years whey saying they will be saved? This is disloyal and impious. However, they do not realize this. Now, on earth, the longed for wish of humankind, the only daughter of God and only son of God, the True Parents, have been born.

Under those circumstances, what must you do? There can be no perfection in ignorance. You must be aware of that. True Parents have been teaching you for fifty-some years, since the holy wedding, and have been teaching all the people of the world. At that time in 1960, the world had only around 3 billion people compared to the 7.4 billion now.

We are moving quickly

Do you see hope for the future? On your own, you cannot find hope. When you go forward united with True Parents, you have hope for the future. Do you understand? We proposed the IAPP in 2016! In only around ten months until we had spread throughout the six continents.

In the US Senate Kennedy Caucus Room, around three hundred people came, all legislators. Around eighty US legislators participated. There, I said that the way to peace is through me! I proclaimed that they must unite with the only daughter of God, the True Parents. These are amazing, revolutionary words -- the words that Jesus should have said two thousand years ago in the Roman Senate.

I have created this external foundation. Even though this nation had been facing difficulties and the world was in confusion seven hundred legislators came to this nation. Why did they come? I told them the way to peace is for each of them to return to their own nations where I asked them to fulfill their responsibilities as tribal messiahs. I told them to become messiahs. The establishment of IAPP chapters is continuing toward 120 nations. A few days ago, they inaugurated one in India, a nation with 1.3 billion people. Neither Christianity nor all of Buddhism has not been able to gain influence over Hinduism in India. However more than 120 legislators came and held a victorious inauguration.

They do not know how urgent this circumstance is but we can recognize that there are many people looking for the true owner! The True Parents. That is so. The wish of fallen humankind is to go through the process of rebirth through the True Parents and become children of God, our Heavenly Parent.

Become the light of the East

How difficult of a course of waiting must Heavenly Parent have gone through? The six thousand years in the Bible is a long time, but the history of humankind is even longer.

Now those of you here today must rise and teach the citizens of this nation about the advent of True Parents. Do you understand? Your dream is to see North Korea and South Korea unite and to live in a peaceful world. The achievement of that dream cannot come through the power of politics, religion or a particular ideology. Only True Parents can trod that path.

One hundred years ago, the poet Tagore wrote a beautiful poem about us when we under colonization. It was prophetic: "In the golden age of Asia, Korea was one of its lamp-bearers and that lamp is waiting to be lighted once again for the illumination of the East." What is light? Light is the true word, the truth. It is through the True Parents that the truth became true.

That is why I would like to say this: Korea alone cannot resolve the problems in Korea. We have received the blessing of being God's homeland. Thus, all of us must fulfill our responsibilities. We must do it. We must show it through our actions.

Then this people, this nation, can stand upright in this world as a nation where the only Heavenly Parent and True Parents can dwell. The poem says we will become the light of the East, so together with the other nations of Asia, we must open the age of the Pacific Civilization and spread to the world.

If the age of the Atlantic Civilization, two thousand years ago, was a providence that collected and took away, the age of the Pacific Civilization will achieve the world humankind wants and Heavenly Parent wishes for, a world of one human family under God, which living for the sake of others centered on True Parents will achieve. Will you make that resolution and put it into practice? Let us advance and continue to advance until the day when with a heart of hyo jeong, we can give joy and praise to Heavenly Parent.

Now on this earth, God’s only daughter and God’s only son, the True Parents, for whom humankind has been longing, have been born. Then what must you do? There can be no perfection through ignorance. You must understand that. True Parents have been teaching you for fifty some years since the Holy Wedding and have been teaching all the people of the world. At that time, in 1960, the world had only around 3 billion people compared to the 7.4 billion now.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Do you see hope for the future? There is a future for humankind when you go forward in unity with True Parents. Do you understand? We proposed the IAPP in 2016! Some eighty US legislators participated. On that occasion, I said that the way to peace is through me, and proclaimed that they must unite with God’s only daughter, with the True Parents. Even though this nation had been facing difficulties and the world was in confusion seven hundred legislators came to this country. I told them the way to peace is for each of them to return to their own nations, and I asked them to fulfill their responsibilities as tribal messiahs. I said they should become messiahs. Gradually, the IAPP is being established in 120 nations. A few days ago, an inauguration took place in India, a nation of 1.3 billion people. Neither Christianity nor Buddhism has been able to gain influence in this nation. However, more than 120 legislators gathered and had a successful inauguration. They do not know how urgent the situation is, but we are able to see that many people are looking for the true lord! The True Parents.

The wish of fallen humankind is to go through the process of rebirth through the True Parents and to become children of God, our Heavenly Parent. Now those of you here today must rise and teach the citizens of this nation about True Parents’ advent. Your dream is that North Korea and South Korea unite and their people live in a peaceful nation. Neither the power of politics, of religion, or of some specific ideology can achieve that dream. True Parents represent the only path to solving this.

A hundred years ago, the poet Tagore wrote a beautiful poem about us when we were under colonization. The poem prophesized hope to come in the future. “In the golden age of Asia, Korea was one of its lampbearers and that lamp is waiting to be lighted once again for the illumination of the East.” What is the light? The light is the true word, the truth. It is through the True Parents that the truth becomes true. We have received the blessing of being God’s homeland. Hence, all of us must fulfill our responsibilities. We must act on them. We must show this through our actions. Then this people, this nation, can stand upright in the world as a nation where Heavenly Parent and True Parents can dwell. In this new age, we must begin the age of the Pacific civilization and spread it to the world.

If the age of the Atlantic civilization, two thousand years ago, was a providence that collected and took things away from others, the age of the Pacific civilization will become the world all people want and Heavenly Parent wishes for – the world of one human family under God, which will be achieved through practicing living for the sake of others centered on True Parents. Will you make that resolution and put it into practice? Let us go forward continuously until the day we can give joy and praise to our Heavenly Parent with a heart of filial piety.

Hak Ja Han: The Era of a United Korea through Living for the Sake of Others

At KINTEX exhibition center in Goyang City, in an event hall the size of a huge aircraft hangar, True Mother today encouraged a crowd of 10,000 members, ambassadors of peace and local leaders to follow the way of love and peace building. The event was one of four or so events to be held throughout Korea in the ensuing weeks, on the same theme. They will be followed up with smaller events geared to helping leaders in Korean society strategize for the path ahead for their country.

After Korean Family Federation president Rev. Kyeong Seuk Lu, who was MC for the event, welcomed everyone warmly, he spoke on some of the issues facing Korea – including the threat of North Korean military action and the political turmoil of recent months – and introduced some of the prominent guests in attendance (which included the Mayor of Guri City). The event featured speeches by two Korean lawmakers (and a message from a third).

The first among these, Mr. Myeong-cheol Jo, had previously taught in Kim Il Sung University in Pyongyang before defecting to the south. He had been present when Father was in North Korea and when he declared that North Korean Juche philosophy was never going to lead to unity. Mr. Jo testified based on his first-hand experience that no one else had ever dared to say such a thing in a public forum in North Korea. He admired Father for risking his life to say those words.

The second lawmaker, Mr. Kim -dong, Seongrecounted how Father had worked tirelessly for South Korea’s security, and he looked back to the Rally for Korea Freedom in Yoido, Seoul, in June 1975. He also mentioned the landmark visits True Parents made to meet Mikhail Gorbachev in Moscow in 1990 and to meet Kim Il Sung in Pyongyang the following year. He exhorted all present to continue the work for peace in Korea, and beyond, for the peace of the world.

After a brief video presentation entitled “True love for others is the path to harmony and unity,” highlighting True Parents’ lifelong for peace, True Mother was welcomed to the podium.

Mother’s spoke for about 25 minutes on Heaven’s providence and the mission of Korea. Here is a summary of some of the points Mother made (taken from the English interpretation; please see a more official translation at a later date):

God gave us a portion of responsibility but Adam and Eve, through self-centeredness, made the mistake of the Fall. Since then God has walked the lonely path to restore fallen human beings. Along its course, those who practiced virtue were raised up to lead the others.

God raised up Israel as a chosen nation over 4000 biblical years. People had been yearning for the Messiah; then Jesus was sent by God. Jesus, as the only begotten son, should have met the only begotten daughter and he and his bride should have become the True Parents of humanity. But this did not work out. Mother explained that the Christianity was placed in the position to restore this. It took 300 years for Christianity to make a beginning. Christianity then spread across the world.

Yet Christianity does not understand its mission entirely. The essence of Jesus is true love. Giving, giving again, and forgetting you have given. But looking at Christian civilization, they have not all kept an attitude of giving. All the nations in Europe have technology and knowledge, and are economically strong. But internally, they had not managed to learn to live for the sake of others and thus they have not prepared for Jesus’ second coming.

This mission transferred to the Christians in Korea, but they also have not succeeded. Christians in Korea have not understood God’s providence sufficiently. You need to understand that with True Parents’ Holy Wedding in 1960, the Messiah was here. If people had recognized this in 1960 it would have been easier. There are many more people now, so it is a bigger job. But if people unite with True Parents, there will be a future for humanity.

In 2016 the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace was launched in many important places, and has drawn many members of parliament in many countries.

In February, 700 congressmen came Korea for the conference. I told them they should be messiahs to the people in their countries. We began IAPP in 120 nations.

How painful and difficult a path our Heavenly Parent has endured. In the Bible it is described as 6,000 years, but human history is much longer than that.

Your wish is the reunification of Korea, to live in a nation of unity and prosperity. But this wish cannot be realized through political or ideological means alone. You need True Parents to solve this problem.

Korea has been blessed as God’s homeland. Therefore, all of you must show through your actions that this really is the nation where God and True Parents can dwell. You must be able to stand proud before the entire world. You must be the light of Asia.

This is the era of the Pacific-Rim Civilization. From here, peace will expand throughout the world. The Pacific Rim Era is one of living for the sake of others and centering on True Parents.

Before Heavenly Parent, and with a heart of filial attendance, let us offer glory and happiness. Until we have accomplished this, let us march forward!

Sit down. Did you enjoy the hamburger? It’s the best isn’t it?

Your answer was a bit slow. You are young, so you can study. In order to become one world, one culture, and one human family, the principle is that you should live using True Parents’ language. So, should you study Korean; or should you be idle? When I see you, I think of the time when I was young. At a very young age, I made up my mind and said, “I will take responsibility for the completion of the providence.” At that time, I was alone, but you... you have many siblings. Isn’t that so? Therefore, you must help each other and gain strength.

During this time, you have heard and studied lectures and True Parents’ life courses, but God, who created all things in the universe, our Creator, the Heavenly Parent, had a dream. That dream was for God to become the True Parent of humankind through the people who could become the first human ancestors. Due to God giving human beings responsibility according to the principle of creation, Adam and Eve, who could have become humankind’s ancestors, should have accomplished that responsibility. However, in the growth stage, they fell to Satan’s temptation and developed greed. They wanted to become like God before the time was right. That was the Fall. God cannot just abandon fallen humankind and create people that could become new ancestors of humankind. God wished to become the parent through humankind in accordance with the principle of creation. That is why God had no choice but to begin the providence of restoration through indemnity. How sorrowful, lonely, and sad must that course have been?

It took four-thousand years until God’s only son, the second attempt to realize God’s dream, could be sent. It wasn’t four hundred years or forty—but four thousand years. In order to create that foundation, Heaven raised a huge Cain-type nation. That was, two thousand years ago, when God’s only son, Jesus Christ, was to come. Israel was at the level to go forward. It was not an independent nation. There was a great empire called the Roman Empire. At that time there was no one who recognized Jesus Christ, God’s only son. Mary who bore Jesus, was unaware of Heaven’s providence. She did not know why God’s only son had come. The figures around Jesus— Zachariah’s family, figures in Judaism, the Israelites—knew God even less. That is why they made decisions using human thought. The surrounding people, who should have cooperated, did not cooperate; in that situation, the environment developed into one in which Jesus could no longer proceed with the providence alone. Jesus had no choice but to go the way of the cross. As he died, he said he would return—he would return and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. The central figures should have been aware of this then. If God’s only son had been born, God’s only daughter had to be found. Heaven would have prepared that, too. However, those that should have taken responsibility could not take responsibility. Due to that, what happened to the people and nation of Israel for the next two thousand years? They were pitiful Israelites that had no nation. For two thousand years, they lived as a nationless people and endured persecution. God’s only son, whom Heaven had waited and waited for, for four thousand years died on the cross.

Afterward, for 2,000 years, those in the Christian cultural sphere had to prepare for God’s only daughter. Before Jesus said that he would return to hold the marriage supper of the Lamb, the spot for God’s only son is already here. Christianity must become the foundation to prepare for God’s only daughter, but today’s Christianity does not realize this. Catholics especially attend Mary as the Holy Mother. Poor Jesus, who died on the cross, has also been hanging from the cross until now as Christians cry out for salvation. You know the principle. What is the providence of salvation? What is the goal of the providence of salvation? An individual alone cannot fulfill it. Don’t you agree? That dream, which Heaven has longed for, is the parent, the family. Therefore, until now, the people who believed in Christianity could not go to heaven. Heaven is the place the True Family enters. It is a place those who have not received the blessing through True Parents True Parents! Do you know how precious the True Parents are? New life, new lineage through True Parents! That means, going out in the position of the blessing. Do you understand? Blessed families are precious. However, that family must fulfill their responsibility. Responsibility! If you cannot do that, you cannot come close to the True Parents.

A baby lives in its mother’s womb for ten months. Once a child is out in the world, there is no guarantee the child will live to a hundred but life on earth is important. This is because you have to learn the providence, meet True Parents, receive True Parents’ teachings and become true children. If you do not do that, you have no connection to heaven. The ones who gave this precious gift to humankind are the True Parents! You cannot be the only ones to know these True Parents. All humankind, the entire world, must know them. You have to give others the responsibility and the opportunity.

Looking back, those in the Christian cultural sphere, who were unable to not fulfill their responsibilities, were able to begin after three hundred years. Rome acknowledged Christianity, which went from the Italian Peninsula across Europe to reach the island of Britain. Then through the oceanic providence of the Atlantic Civilization, key nations of the Atlantic Civilization such as Britain or Spain conquered countries around the world. They set off with the Christian culture. Yet they did not know Jesus’ true nature. At first, they shared Christianity but because they did not know God and were selfish and individualistic, they later took away those cultures; in frank terms, they stole. Thus, if you visit England, go to the British Museum and you will see collections of artifacts from nations they had colonized on display.

Nevertheless, I am speaking of the age of Atlantic civilization. Today, all the nations in Asia, now, must unite with Korea, the land that gave birth to True Parents. One hundred years ago, the Indian Poet Tagore said this... At that time, Korea was a Japanese colony. Looking towards Korea, he said “Korea! ...that lamp is waiting to be lighted once again for the illumination of the East,” which means through the True Parents, the light is the truth. Through True Parents, through True Parents’ words, that truth will spread and the nations that accept that will become equal in the same age! They will be united. We cannot just stay in Asia. We must go out to the world. Therefore, centered on the ocean, the Pacific Ocean True Parents’ ideology will spread. Living for the sake of others. A life of giving. They will know the True Parents, who give and give, forget they have given, and give again. This is True Parents’ and Heavenly Parent’s wish and dream.

Even those who live in the fallen world, because of their conscience, wish to live a good life. That is why we now have the four great religions. Religions teach us how to live good and kind lives. Yet in the end, “What must I do?” They do not know that final purpose. Only those in the Family Federation, who know True Parents, know this. When we go out into the world with this truth, among all the people of the world, we will find righteous people, prepared people. When they hear this truth, how grateful will they be? Don’t you think that when through you, other people, encounter True Parents and their ideology they will feel that meeting True Parents is the same as meeting the Creator, Heavenly Parent? Will they cry tears of gratitude, or not? Won’t they be grateful? That makes you all saviors! Saviors! I told blessed families to fulfill the role of Heavenly Tribal Messiahs. You cannot stop at your tribe; you must think of all of the world’s 7.4 billion people. Don’t young people walk faster than older people? Your energy, your stamina, your heart of filial piety toward Heaven forges a path that will save the 7.4 billion people of the world. If that doesn’t bring light to the world, what would? Isn’t that so? Through you, the world’s people will see the light. That means they will know True Parents. We must do this. Don’t you agree? Yes. Thank you.

The Modern Marriage Supper of the Lamb

What is today? Is it a joyful day? Of the four seasons, spring is when all creation revives. In this beautiful season, due to human ignorance, many living things are dying from fine [airborne] dust, yellow dust. Do you know this? Human beings, because of the situation of the world today, are suffering from uncontrollable insecurity and fear. It is as if humankind is heading out to sea without a captain or compass. The world has become a dark place, unable to take even one step, unable to speak of hope for the future. To summarize, it can be said that it became so bad that the true owner of the world act as the owner.

Originally, God created all things in the universe and then created humankind's first ancestors, Adam and Eve. They should have grown well and had a beautiful dream together with God. However, during the growth stage, Adam and Eve developed self-centered greed. They looked to themselves before the time was right. Humankind's ancestors could not wash away their mistake, which led to the world's current situation. In summary, the result was that God, who should have been the owner of the world, could not act as the owner.

However, the start and the finish of the omniscient and omnipotent God must be the same. God's will must absolutely be achieved. Therefore, Heaven had no choice but to take the lonely and sorrowful path of the providence of restoration through indemnity. Relative to the rest of the fallen world, God raised a good people and gave them hope. We know this well through the Bible. How difficult must it have been that it took four thousand years? For the first time in four thousand years, God sent his only son, whom humankind had wished for dearly. However, the environment around Jesus, the Israelites, figures in Judaism, Zachariah's family and Mary were unable to fulfill their responsibilities. They did not understand Heaven's providence or the purpose of Jesus' coming. Due to those who should have formed Jesus' environment not completing their responsibilities, Jesus had no foundation to stand on. So he had no choice but to go the way of the cross. He said he would come back and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. The marriage supper of the Lamb! That day was the day Heavenly Parent's dream, humankind's wish, could have been realized! If the Israelites had accepted Jesus as God's only son at that time (which God had waited patiently for) he had been able to meet the only daughter of God and had been able to go forward as the True Parents, through Rome, a part of the great Roman Empire, all the surrounding nations would have been absorbed and united. If that had happened, God's wish and humankind's wish would have been achieved and the world as one family under God, the kingdom of heaven on earth, would have been realized.

However, what happened to the Israelites who did not receive Jesus as the owner? For two thousand years, they were a nationless people and then in WWII so many people had to take the path of death. That was their history. Why is this? This was because it was indemnity for being a people who had not fulfilled their responsibilities for the Parent, and [for Jesus] to become the Parent. However, they are unaware of this. Jesus said he would return and hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. God must select a nation for the foundation of the only daughter of God and give birth to the only daughter of God, who could not be born at Jesus' time.

That honor went to the Han people. Please applaud! After Jesus died on the cross, for Christianity to find its place took three hundred years. That was the work of the Holy Spirit; in summary, Christianity -- which human beings who did not know God's purpose of creation or his nature -- created has left many stains. How could communist thought, which asserted there was no God, come from Christianity, which professes God's existence? Through Heaven's sad and lonely providence of restoration through indemnity, the only daughter of God could be born among the Han people.

Regarding the IAPP, leaders from nations around the world are continuing the inaugurations. A few days ago in India, which has a population of 1.3 billion, 120 legislators met at the Parliament in the presence of the president and prime minister. That shows how strongly people -- though they don't know what it is -- possess the hope of living in accordance with Heaven's will. Britain has been involved with India since the 1600s.

During the age of the Atlantic civilization, Europe's important coastal nations spread Christianity through global trade. Through that, England has had a long relationship with India. Hinduism, India's traditional religion, could not receive Christianity, so in the end, a new level of providential work had to be done through India. However, as we held the regional inaugurations of the IAPP, a righteous person appeared. In India, a nation of 1.3 billion people, truthfully, our foundation is not strong, because it is difficult to register and work as a religion. However, through members who recently joined, we were able to achieve this great victory.

I am speaking of this because human beings today are looking for hope amidst all this despair. One hundred years ago, the Indian poet Tagore... Korea liberation occurred in 1945, so this was before that. He came to Japan and looking at Korea, he wrote a prophetic poem. "In the golden age of Asia, Korea was one of its lamp bearers/And that lamp is waiting to be lit once again/For the illumination of the East." What does the light signify? Light is truth, the Word. The Word must be the Heavenly Parent's Word, the Creator's. The poem was recited like this, a hundred years ago.

Heaven, through a righteous person, created the foundation to be able to send the Returning Lord, however the foundation of Christians, who did not understand the providence was difficult. Nevertheless, today, we have overcome all obstacles and the only daughter of God and the only Son of God... Jesus Christ was born without sin two thousand years ago. The only daughter of God was born without original sin. This is the truth. On the day of the marriage banquet of the Lamb, the only daughter of God and the only son of God, born without sin, accepted God's will! Glory in heaven, humankind's joy, wish, and hope! However, we do not know the reality and are ignorant; no completion is possible through ignorance. Blessed families, who have received the blessing through True Parents, must inform others, must teach others. In order to do that, national restoration is urgently needed. The problems that this nation is facing, between North Korea and South Korea, cannot be solved by politicians. Ideologies cannot solved it. Only one thing can solve this problem, the True Parents! When all large or small nations, centered on True Parents, unite as sibling nations, true peace for humankind will come.

However, at this time, we are being pushed left and right by a few strong nations, these nations need someone to educate them. Christianity came from ignorance, not knowing anything. You know the providence. You have been learning for 57 years. In light of that, you, blessed families, have responsibilities. True Parents' manifestation should have been achieved on a national foundation. When we think of this... Everyone! Today, tomorrow -- until the last moment of your lives… You mustn't leave just your name behind. We need results. That is why I wish to make a Cheon Il Guk family record. The members who have received the blessing will become the ancestors of the past, present, and future. This is for you to decide. This is your responsibility. Then what must you do? Will you take responsibility for national restoration?

The task you are facing, heavenly tribal messiahship, is the urgent priority. You must also fully advance toward solving the problems the world is facing today. You must boast of, inform, and teach others about True Parents. That is your responsibility.

Do you understand? Will you do that? I pray sincerely that you will make that determination today.
