Father! We will go. We will be proud. We will overcome. We will collapse embracing this will.

No matter how many people there are who oppose us, please allow us to become sons and daughters who are able to say, "Who could possibly destroy your and our relationship which is united heartistically or the fact that we are your sons and daughters, and you are our father? We want to be confident of this honor alone. We want to leave behind this honor alone for a thousand years."

Father! We are in awe of the grace you have told us about. We are ashamed in front of our ancestors who were ignorant but obedient, and we are in awe of the martyrs. And we are in awe of Jesus, your only son who died. Even though we are inadequate and have no qualifications, you have given us such grace that it is difficult for us to be equal to it. Please bear with the fact that we have not been able to shed tears of gratitude.

We have realized that we must become your children while we are living, and we have realized that before we die we must praise your love highly. Therefore please allow us to be able to die not having left behind any grief, and having attended you, at least one time, Father, as those kinds of sons and daughters. Please let us realize that this is our hope, and it is your hope, too, Father, and we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to realize that this is the way to avenge you and to wipe Satan out of existence.

We earnestly request and desire that you will let us become sons and daughters who go forth and fight while praying even if we collapse enduring, sacrificing, and yielding until the dominion of heaven is established, and even if we face grief which chokes us up for the sake of the day in which this will is realized. Please be with us personally so that we can unite and be more than equal to the responsibility which you have given us in front of the world. We have prayed in the name of the Lord. Amen.

The Essential Nature of Satan

In order that we remove Satan's lineage from our beings, we must deny our youthful passion -- especially self-centered youthful energy and passion. The essential nature of Satan is pride. The nature is to control everything by his self-centered purpose. Therefore, we must develop a nature opposite from his nature. We must gain and possess a nature that is honest and obedient. Once we develop such a nature as our essence, Satan cannot control us without losing his own essential nature in order to catch and follow us. Thus, Satan must surrender to us. Satan always wants to control everyone centered on him.

All nations and societies try to gather people around their respective self-interests regardless of God and the position of goodness. However, God's way is to step down from where you are, trying to go down to the lower position, which is the opposite direction compared to nations and societies. It is understood to be evil if you gather people centered on your own self interests. On the other hand, it is good if you give away what you have and offer them for the public and for the sake of other people. Their directions are totally opposite.

Then, what is our life where we stand at the dividing point between God's path and Satan's path? Goodness is to sacrifice all self-centeredness -- give away all you own and offer them to others. Evil is to pull all for the sake of yourself.

The evil side always attacks first. The good side is always beaten first. Therefore, for instance, the allies who attacked first eventually lost the war in both World War I and World War II. So, in your case, take a beating first, and then gain your victory. Goodness never attacks first. Evil always attack first. This is where the division of Heaven and Earth hangs in the balance.

In order that we remove Satan's lineage from our beings, we must deny our youthful passion -- especially self-centered youthful energy and passion. However, God-centered youthful energy and passion is good. It is evil to sacrifice the public for your own sake instead of desiring to sacrifice yourself for the public. The boundary of good and evil is very clear. Therefore, when you love, not for your own sake, love for the sake of the nation, the world and God. When you value yourself in high esteem, you should hold yourself in high esteem because you are at the center of this world. As you see, our restored view of life which God desire is fundamentally different from the secular view of life. We must pioneer this path.

Father! How frustrated, grieved, sorrowful, and painful must have been the heart of Jesus Christ who, while looking at the Last Days of Israel, which you had worked hard for 4,000 years to lead, could not speak words of congratulations to that people and could not help but speak words of lamentation.

Father! We know that the frustration of heaven filled his entire being, the innermost heart of Jesus, as he watched the many people who were struggling on the verge of death, when they did not listen even though he advised them and when the ignorant crowds were not able to be enlightened even though he sought to enlighten them. And we know that the more that frustration filled him, the more his mind wanted to resent this earth. But there was no one on the earth who knew the heart of Christ who suppressed that and endured.

We have come to know that it was historical grief that, while attending the holy majesty of Christ who worked so hard, like a brother and like a father, in order to pioneer his lonely course, and while becoming one mind with him, we did not weep together when Jesus Christ was weeping, or starve together when he was starving, and that we were not dressed shabbily together when he was dressed shabbily, or beaten together when he was beaten, or driven out together when he was driven out, who, by finding and entering the foundation of heart now, are able to hold and embrace the internal character of Christ, and who, by becoming heartistic friends able to communicate with his circumstances, are able to rush towards the mount of Calvary in Jesus' stead.

We earnestly hope and desire, beloved Father, that you will allow us to experience and feel keenly that if we are sons and daughter like that, we are friends of Christ, and people who attend the son of heaven going beyond history. Jesus came to this earth and shed countless tears, but no one knew about that, and with a grieving heart, shedding bitter tears, he appealed to heaven, but there was no one who knew that, either.

Father, today we thank you for having trained us by driving the Unification believers into pitiful positions.

We thank you for having united us in the midst of hunger. Father, please let us become sons and daughters who are concerned about the Will, even if we are dressed shabbily, and who are concerned about you, even if we are beaten.

We know that this is your desire, Father, and it is your Will to establish people like that about whom you can boast before this people. Now since the time has come to fulfill the mission of finding and establishing people like that, please do not let us be cowardly while facing this mission, and please do not let us hesitate while facing this mission. Earnestly desiring that you will let us become sons and daughters who are able to leave results before you by giving all the love and sincerity we have, and who are able to be remembered in your heart.

Do you know a place where God is nearest to you? That is the place of repentance. However, as you understand God more, you don't need to say to Him, "Please forgive me because I committed such and such sins." Once you repent the fact that you did not know God's Heart looking over you, everything will be forgiven.

If there is a greater sinner than a prodigal son who wastes all the money of his parents, this is a son who hurts and wounds his parents' loving hearts. There is no greater sin. If this son cries out while saying, "How can my sin that injured my father's heart be forgiven?", then the father will forgive him by saying, "Oh, my son and Oh, my son." If the fallen parents can do this, God will definitely forgive you.

In general people go to their church and pray, "Please forgive me for I repent for such a such a sin I committed." However, you rather pray like this, "I dishonored the principle of Heavenly ethic, trampled the sacred relationship between God and human being and violated the relationship between Human and all things of creation. I committed this grave sin that violated all relations of hearts. Please have your way for such a wretched man." By repenting this way, you may be accepted by Him, and subsequently becoming victorious to be recognized by Heavenly Father, everything will be resolved completely. Heaven definitely visits a person who repents in such way.

Then, what should you do in order to truly repent? First step is for you to set up right direction in your life and put utmost effort to achieve your goals, by repenting daily in your life of faith. God will always listen to the requests from such a person. In fact, since both you and God know what you must do now, ninety percent of your prayer should not asking God about things that you want to do. Rather, 90% of your prayer must be repentance. This is the same as the teaching of Jesus -- "Repent, the Kingdom of God is at hand." Repentance has such important value if it is done correctly.

Your goals are already set very high. So you know the days when you cannot reach the goals. When you come to short of achieving them, you must repent on the day by saying, "God, I am sorry for not achieving the goals today. I really wanted to come closer to reaching the goals, but I fail to do it. Please forgive me. Then, I will determine to fulfill them tomorrow." This is your prayer method…

However, you may need to repent the next day. When you set high goals, you cannot reach them easily, thus, everyday is a day of repentance. But, it is beautiful thing to behold. Each day is a new day and a new beginning. In your journey of life, each and every day is a day of repentance. Such a way of living is so wonderful. This is far better than your proud feeling such as saying "I am a leader. So, I give orders to all people around me." Thus, life of repentance is much more wonderful.

God never be so proud to say, "Because I am the Almighty God, you people must obey what I say." Then, how can you so proud to say that you are great, as you are trying to comfort and console God whose heart is filled with sorrow? You have never reached such a position to be proud of yourselves. If you repent daily, even though you don't realize these points, you are growing. But, if you think you have very high standard and are an exemplary Moonie, it is clear that you are no longer growing. Do you want to go the path of repentance?

I want you to realize that even though you repent throughout your life, you have never liquated your debts. In the path of repentance, each day is a new start. This path is truly your own path of cross. On this path, you only ascend, never descend. Jesus went to mountain alone countless times in order to be away from others, to fast, and to pray with so many tears. Even for Jesus, each and every day was a new beginning of repentance. This is only certain way where you are guaranteed to grow and never stumble.

To this one place which encompasses the entire six-thousand-year providence, you have sent your daughter; I feel indescribably awed in front of your call as you found and established me to realize your will. Father as you brought about this one day that you sought, over and over again, for six thousand years, we thank you for bringing about this day in history, and for allowing your daughter to be able to set up the new course of a mother in front of the cosmos. I express my gratitude as this is a time -- being a victorious day today -- through which you have appeared in front of all things that have perfected their heavenly nature in the universe that you created and that this time is one through which you have been able to claim victory for the first time in front of the satanic world by being equipped with a condition for liberation by finding this one day.

I know that now is a time through which we claim victory and Satan carries the sorrow of defeat; a time when our lives and satanic people's lives will be transposed. Oh Heaven, please raise the banner of victory. Oh earth! Please offer joy in return to the Father.

Glory glory unending glory. I know that this hour is one in which heaven and earth come together in joy May all descendants and the entire universe delight in this joyful time for eternity Father, even if we are to die, allow us to march on toward the satanic world and invest our heart and soul in establishing your children as heroes within restoration as soon as possible and to make this pledge to you.

Please accept your daughter, who has been established today. Crown her with a laurel of victory and allow her to become a daughter that can cut off all your sorrow and resentment. May the time ahead of us, as of this day, become one of victorious glory alone and I sincerely hope that you are always present within the lives of all members. What happened here today may seem simple in your eyes. If seen as just a ceremony it may look like an event that just lasted (or a few dozen minutes. Yet, when you look at it from Hearer's standpoint, all the vicissitudes of the six thousand years are encompassed here.

Hence, knowing this and for you to achieve the will, you must be able to take after Teacher's heart, accept the will as an unfinished work and work on achieving the immense will by cooperating with it.

God's history is the history of restoration. However what kind of restoration does it require? It requires complete restoration. Complete restoration! It asks for complete restoration. During Adam's era, Cod tried to bring restoration through the brothers. In Esau's time, Gad triad to do so through the twins. He did it again through Perez and Zerah while they were still in the womb. By passing this standard, the next standard to be passed -- based on the previous standard -- is the bride-and-groom standard. We must pass through the bride and groom.

In that case, what should be done in order to pass through it? A one to one indemnity condition must be set in its intact form, just as in the era when Adam fell. You are following a course through which you can indemnify a lot with smaller conditions. However, if one has responsibility over the whole, one must pay the same amount of indemnity; one must be able to set such conditions and pass through them from a difficult position.

Hence, if established churches and the Korean people had supported me when I first set off on this course, I wouldn't have gone through such suffering. I set off on this path at the age of twenty-six; if they had supported God's will, Mother would have been chosen at that time.

To attain the stage where Mother can be chosen, all the vicissitudes of the six-thousand-year history must be resolved. However, for this to happen, a bridge must be laid, a solution found and one must be able to break off from all of Satan's conditions first. As a result, my entire youth passed while trying to follow this course. Now I am over forty. I have passed forty hills. Even if I am over forty, the principled standard cannot be ignored; as a result, young Mother was chosen. The standard requires the bride be under twenty.

From a secular point of view, I could grieve about many aspects because I have aged and face major tasks ahead, and to think that I must advance with a young person must be somewhat sorrowful That doesn't mean it is actually so though. The time has already come and we have accomplished this; there is no such thing as face saving or the likes of that here. As of now, whatever you hear and whatever it is, it won't be a problem anymore. Please know that, understand why Mother was chosen at such a young age in this providential age and give her your great support in the future.

Please bear this in mind; absolutely remain humble as we still have a long way to go in the future. Do not assume that fire will come down from heaven and finish everything at once. You should have the conviction, "Father, we are okay even if you do not help us. We are confident that we can move the world just by being equipped with the words of truth and our experience of the deep heart. We are certain." Do you promise to live with such confidence and determination? [Yes]

True Father said the following on March 27, 1960 (1960 3.1 by the lunar calendar), the day he and True Mother were engaged:

There is something the church members need to know. As I've already told Mother Hak-ja this morning, once we have gone beyond a certain stage in working for God's great providence, there will be people who can claim to be in the position of the children and others who will be given responsibilities from God as leaders.

The people who are given responsibilities as leaders, however, have their own birth parents. Be that as it may, God does not regard the birth parents as the parents. He is hard-hearted when it comes to establishing this new heavenly providence. In other words, we need to march forward with a standard of heart never before seen in history.

Therefore, there may be people who are close to those established leaders, like their friends or parents, and whether they are Unification Church members or not, they may come and ask for favors to place their sons and daughters or their relatives in high places. I will not allow that to happen. I will not allow anyone to come in through the back door.

That is why I summoned Mrs. Soon-ae Hong today and told her to make a solemn commitment. She has pledged that she will live from now on as if she has no connection whatsoever to Mother Hak-ja. I may also make others commit to the same. This is because Mother Hak-ja must first be established in her position in order to set the condition for the generations to come. So I told her to be prepared for anything because she may be asked to do anything during the next three years. As you can see, you need to be prepared to go to such lengths to establish God's will.

That is why you, the other members, should not think of Mrs. Soon-ae Hong in secular terms as the mother of some# body or other. From God's viewpoint, He does not recognize her as the mother at present. God has to stand in such a position. Therefore, I hope you will not think of her in those terms, and treat her accordingly. Only when such a standard is set up from the beginning can it serve as an example to the coming generations and the people who might wish to come in through the back door. Soon-ae also needs to be prepared for that. Do you understand? [Yes.]

We have come a long way and suffered much to find the path of our faith, but all our suffering has been for the providence. Now that we are on the way to achieving God's will, no matter what hardships may come our way, we need to face them with grateful hearts and do our best to go beyond the standard set by God. Do you understand? [Yes.] You have promised to move forward with gratitude no matter what you are asked to do, and I hope you will keep your promise.

Always Report to God

Once you report before God, you must follow through no matter how difficult it may be. Whatever you do, once you pledge to God, you will resolve it. If you live your daily life with the attitude, you will never fail. However, to reach that level, it will be a real battle.

Satan has his strategy. You should avoid getting mired in his strategy. In order to protect yourself, you must receive from God the internal strength that will liberate yourself externally. To this end, you must pray. Then your prayer will become serious. It will become a serious prayer.

You must align yourself to God daily. When you start in the morning, you should report to God your plan of action for the day. Always, report to Him that you will follow through on your plan. It can be a short prayer. It doesn't have to be a long prayer, but you should report to God. You should follow though what you reported to God.

You keep your promise you made to your friend, right? By the same token, you must fulfill what you report to God no matter how difficult it may be. With this attitude, you fight throughout the day; and before you go to bed, you should reflect on how you did. You report to God that I worked such and such. You should say how much you accomplished -- if 80%, then you should repent for the 20% you did not fulfill. If you ignore your promise or treat it as a trivial matter when you did not fulfill your promise to Him, it will become a problem.

The next morning, you, again, report before you start. Then, if again you cannot fulfill your goal for the day... Without accomplishing your goal, you again ignore or treat it as trivial. If you continue having such an irresponsible attitude for three days -- or more than three times -- you will not be able to relate to God. Therefore, when you do not fulfill your promise, you must take it seriously and offer a prayer of repentance. You will be able to recognize if God accepts your repentance.

Pledging to God

Once you report before God, you must follow through no matter how difficult it may be. Whatever you do, once you pledge to God, you must resolve to do it. If you live your daily life with this attitude, you will never fail. However, to reach that, it will be a real battle. Satan will be testing you on purpose.

You stand in a position where the entire universe will focus on what you do; therefore you must be very serious in beginning a battle, where you ask the mobilization of the spirit world and the mobilization of all your ancestors. Prayer is like announcing the full force attack -- by shooting your largest cannon -- to start a battle that determines the rise or fall of your nation.

You declare with a loud noise. Against such spirit, the enemy has to surrender to you. As you repeat such daily battles, you will gain confidence. If you live your life with such an attitude, do you think you will be tired and defeated? If you pray practically and substantially, it is most effective. Your standard of victory at one moment will be connected to the eternal victory. As you repeat it, you will continue to advance.
