True Mother’s Speaks at Nagano Despite Heavy Rain

Large screens within and outside the auditorium projected a live feed of True Mother while she spoke at Nagano despite the heavy rain.
True Mother made a stop at Nagano on October 20th, as part of the continuation of “The Rally for 55th Anniversary of Missionaries in Japan – Joshinetsu region.” Approximately 3,000 people participated in this event, including a current member of the House of Representatives in Nagano region, a municipal official, a provincial councilor, leaders of local organizations, blessed families and peace ambassadors.
Despite the heavy rain, the participants from Nagano, Niigata and Gunma filled the auditorium. These three regions together are called Joshinetsu.
The Nagano headquarters prepared a big tent in front of the headquarters main building with a connected TV that displayed live activities in the auditorium. The participants listened to True Mother’s speech from outside of the auditorium despite heavy rain.
Even though the day of the event was part of the festival season when the Japanese people go to the temple to make offerings, people still came to listen to True Mother’s talk. Some people travelled six hours to get to the auditorium. Priests of the Japanese traditional religion, called Shinto, came to the event wearing traditional Japanese clothes.
True Mother gave the speech with the theme of “My hometown.” She said, “I thought about Heavenly Parent’s hometown on the way to Nagano. The hometown is the place that has beautiful memories of parents, siblings and neighbors. When people leave their hometown, they feel homesick. I wish for Nagano to become the leader who will find the Heavenly Parent’s hometown.”
She also talked to the government leaders and said, “The mother nation of Japan received the mission to embrace all humanity. If the people leading Japan think only about their own sake, it means, they will be going against the providence. Geopolitically, Japan and Korea should become one. Heaven will accomplish the harmony of humanity and peace.” She also emphasized that in order for to Japan to become an admired nation, Japan needs to inherit True Parents’ ideology. Furthermore, Japan’s mission as the mother nation is to bring 127,000,000 people in Japan to Heavenly Parent.

‘’The Rally in Joshinetsu for the 55th Anniversary of the Arrival of Missionaries in Japan’ was held in a big city, Nagano, on Sep. 16th at 1 pm by the Heavenly calendar (Oct. 20). Approximately 3000 people including the current House of Representatives, assemblyman of wide-area, heads of the local organization in addition to blessed families and peace ambassadors gathered for the event.
Even though it was a heavy rain, the auditorium was filled with Unificationists came from Nagano, Niigata and Gunma prefecture which have tourist attractions as the sites of Winter Olympics. These three regions was called ‘Joshinetsu’ named after a old name.
Because of full of people in the auditorium, people lining up outside listened to the speech through the closed-circuit televisions, putting up the umbrellas.

True Mother Travels to Central Japan for Speaking Tour

True Mother made a stop at Port Messe, Nagoya in Central Japan on September 14th by the Heavenly calendar in the first year of Cheon Il Guk (October 18th by the Gregorian calendar), as part of the continuation of "The Rally for the 55th Anniversary of the Arrival of Missionaries in Japan."
A warm applause of 7,000 people, including blessed families, peace ambassadors and influential locals from central region of Japan in addiction to Nagoya welcomed True Mother at the rally. At the art of the event the participants waved the flags for the FFWPU and the Unification Church symbol.
During the speech, True Mother said, "Whenever I come to Nagoya I always feel like right at home." She then explained Japan's providential mission as a mother nation.
She talked about the elder members in Japan in the early days, mentioning some of the elders by name, such as Michiko Matsumoto, Haruko Gannari, Nobuko Hayasi, etc. It was their absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience that made the foundation of current Japan Unification Church, she explained. "We should give them a big applause with a thankful heart," True Mother said. She explained the sorrow and suffering of the Heavenly Parent during the 6,000 years of providential history of restoration to save the fallen humankind in world history. She emphasized that God's blessing for Great Britain and the United States had come back to Japan. This is the reason why Heavenly Parent gave the important mission to the parent nations (of Korea and Japan) of preparing the world to meet the Messiah and to encounter the profound love of the Heavenly Parent.
True Mother also asked the Japanese people, especially their leaders, to explained their horizons so that their eyes can fully see the world. She observed that the people who can make that happen are the blessed families, church members, and the second- and third generation. She called upon the 600,000 blessed families in Japan to take on a role in the front lines of international society. She concluded her speech by asking members to become filial, devoted sons and daughters who can liberate Heavenly Parent and make Heavenly Parent and mankind happy through witnessing. Which means bringing new life and opening the way to becoming eternally rich.
After True Mother's talk, the event concluded with tree cheers of Eok Mansei led by Mr. Kunihiko Yasii, the leader of district seven.

True Mother Holds Victory Celebration in Tokyo

The Chuk Seung (celebratory victory) Hoon Dok Hwe for the ‘Rally Honoring the 55th Anniversary of the Arrival of Unificationist Missionaries to Japan,” and the “54th Anniversary of the Inauguration of HSA-UWC-Japan” was held at the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo on October 16, 2013 with approximately 500 participants, including leaders, blessed families and church members.
True Mother arrived earlier than scheduled. After the bowing ritual, she cut the cake together with Mrs. Yeon Ah Choi and Mr. Yong Cheon Song. Mr. Seong Nam Kim, leader of North-West Tokyo Parish, and Mrs. Kuniko Ookubo, representative for Kitachiba parish, presented flowers to True Mother.
The Hoon Dok Hwe was prepared with testimonies, reports and performances. After the performance, local church leaders presented gifts to True Parents as did the representatives of the 777 blessed couples and representatives of the 6,500 blessed couples.

During the Hoon Dok Hwe True Mother explained a scientific experiment with a chimpanzee couple to test a mother’s instinctual love. When the researchers tested the female chimpanzees, they found that the females had stronger wills to protect their offspring. True Mother explained the difference between a mother’s instinctive love and a father’s instinctive love. She said, “Providentially Japan as the Mother Nation should unite with the providential Father Nation of Korea and then Japan should love the world. Japan received the blessing from Heaven with the efforts of True Parents, so Japan should not use that blessing just for its self. This blessing comes with a bigger mission, the responsibility: to love the world and to live for the sake of the world. If Japan covers up its history, shirks indemnity and takes a wrong path, then blessed families in Japan should stand in the way. The shortcut to stop this is with the Divine Principle and indemnity; furthermore we must witness in order to spread True Parents’ blessing. This witnessing path is the real way to become rich.”
This event concluded exuberantly with three cheers of Eok Man Sei led by Humito Yamamoto, a local church leader.
