All governments should make policies based on True Parents’ thought

Severe Tropical Storm Etau flooded the Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures, both near Tokyo, with more than 600 millimeters [almost 24 inches] of heavy rains. Several buildings were flooded and sustained heavy damage; 170,000 people had to be evacuated due to the floods and the ensuing landslides. Heavy rains are flooding the northern parts of Japan, and more damage is expected. The Family Federation for World Peace (FFWPU) and Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) must evaluate the situation and provide support.

In 2013, heavy flooding on the Italian island of Sardinia resulted in 18 casualties and more than 800 displaced people. All around the world, casualties are rising due to natural disasters such as typhoons and floods. All these disasters are related to the rising sea levels caused by global warming. The world’s oceans are not healthy; we can see the increasing numbers of typhoons and floods causing damage. During his lifetime, True Father was deeply concerned about the severity of climate change and strove to find solutions to the issue. To uphold True Father’s Will, the Sunhak Peace Prize selected President Anote Tong of Kiribati as its first laureate. President Tong has worked to alert the global community and find solutions to the severe problem of climate change.

The 2015 Sunhak Peace Prize emphasized environmental impact. Laureate Anote Tong has worked to alert the global community and find solutions to the severe problem of climate change.

There will be more damage caused by climate change around the world. The way to prevent such damage is to properly know the truth, attend True Parents as the center and move in unison toward the same direction. It just so happened that the nation damaged by floods this time was Japan, a major nation in the Pacific Rim which has a providentially important mission as the central nation in the Federation of Island Nations. As we could see in the musical performed during the Third Seonghwa Memorial, True Parents have tremendous love, both practical and substantial, for the nation of Japan. When Japan follows the Will of True Parents and, centering on FFWPU, seeks to benefit the whole rather than its national interests, the problems will be solved. This is the only way to life.

From now on, the Korean Segye Ilbo, the Japanese Sekai Nippo and The Washington Times must cover the damages caused by the flooding in Japan, remind people 120 percent, 150 percent, 200 percent about the background and purpose of the Sunhak Peace Prize and properly testify about True Parents, the center of humanity. All blessed families, organizations and businesses must witness and testify about True Parents in unison with one Will. We must invest ourselves so that all governments can make and implement policies based on True Parents’ thought.

The main event to commemorate the third anniversary of True Father's ascension

True Mother began speaking after the audience joined her in singing a song titled, "Saranghae," to True Father.

Distinguished guests from home and abroad, beloved ambassadors for peace, from across the world, we miss True Father so much today. Heaven and humanity have long awaited the one central figure and Heaven has had to follow an inexpressibly sorrowful path for thousands of years in the course of providential history.

However, the endeavors of Heaven to send Jesus Christ through the people of Israel and complete the work of the providence two thousand years ago ended in despair and anguish. Therefore, Jesus Christ died on the cross, leaving behind the promise that he would come again.

Thenceforth, the two thousand year history of the providence centered on Christianity was supposed to have prepared us to receive the Lord at his the Second Advent. However, Christians were unaware of Heaven's internal providence.

This is because they did not genuinely understand God. That is why in the midst of Christian history, communism came to exist with its concept of atheism. How devastated must God have been as he looked upon such a situation!

Nevertheless, providential history has continued. Korea is now celebrating the seventieth anniversary of its liberation, but seventy years ago, it was unknown to the rest of the world and was in a most difficult situation. Yet, Heaven chose and established the people of Korea.

Thus, Korea became a nation that gave birth to the Lord at his Second Advent, the only begotten son and only begotten daughter of God. In any part of the world, it is difficult for a person who bears the responsibilities of a higher position to come down to the lowest position. How much more difficult, then, would it have been for the Lord, the Savior, the True Parents, who came as the King of Kings and the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, to do so? However, because Christianity with its prepared foundation failed to fulfill its responsibility, the course of True Parents has had to begin from the position of the servant of servant, the providential course of which you know very well. Even under such circumstances, True Parents lived through days in which they comforted Heaven and made the pledge to fulfill God's will, which is his dream and his hope, without fail.

In the 1970s, the global situation was such that the United States, the representative nation of the democratic world since after the Second World War, held sway over the world.

However, it too faced hardships. The United States, which claims to serve God and has even inscribed on its dollar bills the phrase, "In God we trust," came to be threatened by communism, and its situation became all the more dire due to such issues as the breakdown of the family, extreme individualism, youth problems, drug problems and ideological problems. However, no one was able to step forward and resolve the situation. At that time, True Father left Korea behind and went to the United States.

He said that he had come as a doctor because America was sick, and he had come as a fireman because it was as if America were on fire. These words aroused the leading class of the United States. They came to respect him. However, some politicians that could not look into the future became obstacles on his path. He still forgave them and awakened the United States, and in the end, he brought about the downfall of communism.

Not only that, but he also founded the Association for the AULA (Unity of Latin America) and inspired the South American nations, which were fast becoming communized. Ultimately, he saved those nations. In this way, a single individual accomplished things unknown to the rest of the world, which even nations with vast power and wealth could not achieve. This was possible because he was the True Parent. That is not all. He made many preparations in his concern for the future of the innumerable human beings and the future of the Earth. The providential work of human salvation would have been difficult even with the cooperation of Christianity with its two-thousand-year-old foundation and the cooperation of nations.

Father's global efforts

At the International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences in 1981, he advocated that one way to world peace was to build the International Peace Highway. After that, he toured through four cities in the United States in 2006 and afterward I carried out a speaking tour of 120 nations.

The highway would begin from the Cape of Good Hope in Africa, pass through Europe and Asia, the Korean peninsula, through Santiago in Chile, South America, to New York. Father spoke of building a tunnel under the Bering Strait in Alaska. He advocated the way by which the world could become one, by passing through those places and going through Moscow and the Japanese islands and arriving at the Korean Peninsula, and he opened the way to make it possible.

Based on this historic course, on this third anniversary of Father's ascension we have been able to complete the great course of the Peace Road in which 121 nations participated.

True Parents in Korea

Since the beginning of history, all the people who claimed that their nations were superpowers of the age were all self-centered. They only thought about benefiting their own nations.

However, because True Father and I are True Parents, we work to open the way of understanding by which everyone can become one. One hundred years ago, a great Indian poet, Tagore, praised Korea, saying that Korea was the "Lamp of the East."

Korea's economy of today is not this lamp of the East. A lamp refers to light, and the light is the truth. The truth is the word. Therefore, that phrase means that through True Parents' teachings, this nation, Korea, can stand high in relation to Asia and the world. Now, then, I want to ask all of you here today, What do you want to say to True Father? I want to tell him: Father, from now on, you have nothing to worry about. We will fulfill our responsibilities at all cost. Therefore, we hope and pray that you will now be free to go and come as you please, and to comfort God, our Heavenly Parent, who has been lonely until now, in the eternal garden of the original homeland.

Our obligation

This is the flag and the flower of the culture of heart, which we need to show the rest of the world as a responsibility we need to fulfill. I hope that you will bear this in mind and with the same level of determination that I have, do your very best.

Third Anniversary of True Father's Seonghwa

God sent Jesus and wanted to complete the history of restoration -- heaven worked so hard but it ended in disappointment and pain -- this is why Jesus said "I will come again."

The mission of Christians was to prepare for the messiah but they did not clearly understand God's providence -- we see that Communism was created from the failure of Christianity and how painful the reality is from heaven's view. However, the history of the providence continues to march forward.

This nation (Korea) faced its crisis for 70 years since Korea became independent -- however Heaven selected this nation and this people so that the messiah and the only son and daughter were born to this nation.

However, in the world, for the people who are in the position of leaders, it is difficult for them to go down to the lowest level -- but if you look at if you look at True Parents life course they came on the foundation of Christianity but they were not welcomed and they had to start as the servant of servants. Nevertheless, they walked this difficult path because they knew Heavens Will and determined to realize the dream of God and resolved to accomplish this mission.

When you look at the world in 1970, after World War II -- the USA was the representative of democracy -- however, even in the US there were great challenges. The currency says "In God we Trust" -- this was the nation to follow and serve God yet it was facing the crisis of communism, moral problems and family breakdown. However, no one could solve this problem. True Father left Korea behind and said "I came as a doctor to treat America." In America and all its leaders, True Father awakened their spirit so that they respected True Father. But they could not look to the future and these leaders, they blocked the path of True Father moving forward. But True Father forgave them, raised the USA, and the threat of communism was overcome.

Not only did True Father do this in the USA but also in all of South America -- three times South America was also communized and he saved them too. However, the world does not recognize that one person did all this -- it was only possible because he was the True Father, the True Parent. *Mother cries* This is not all -- on several occasions True Parents' invested themselves and worried about the fate of the world -- they prepared so much for this earth. For 2,000 years, Christianity was prepared and if Christianity had helped, the providence wouldn't have been so painful.

However, through ICUS (International Conference for the Unity of Sciences) -- the way to world peace through by building an international highway was created and in 2006 True Father began to move the nations and US cities and visited 128 nations and lectured. All around the world (Africa, Chile, Europe) -- True Father talked about the Bering Strait tunnel and a bridge across the Japanese islands that would help make the world one through this highway. This is the vision Rev. Moon gave us.

This is the historic path walked by True Father and now at today's third Seunghwa, 120 nations participated in the Peace Road and was ended successfully. In history, today when we look at the strong nations, they all think they are the center, they look after their national interests first. However, through the True Parent's we can all together become one. 100 years ago in India, there was a poet who praised Korea and predicted it would be the shining light of the world. Today, with the Korean economy -- is this the shining light of the world? That is not it. The light is the teachings of True Parent's and that is what can stand before Asia and all the world.

If that is the case, all of you are gathered here today -- what would you like to tell True Father? We should say "True Father -- from now on, please do not worry. We will absolutely complete our responsibility. Until now, God was lonely -- please go comfort God and liberate him, this is my hope and desire."

This is our responsibility that we can show before the world -- the light of the culture of heart -- please march forward to do your best.

The Third Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa

The third anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa was commemorated at the Cheongshim Peace World Center in Korea, where thousands of Unificationists including True Parents’ family, as well as dignitaries and leaders from around the world, gathered to celebrate True Father’s noble life and legacy. Over 1,200 viewers from 192 countries also watched the event via live broadcast.

This third and final international global service for True Father’s Seonghwa anniversary holds great significance in True Mother’s heart and those of Unificationists worldwide, for in Korean culture a three year mourning period is customarily offered to God after the ascension of a loved one. This event was a beautiful expression of gratitude toward True Father, determination to carry his legacy forward, and commemoration of his life lived for the sake of others.

During a pre-event introduction, several performances encouraged reflection on True Father’s life. The completely filled venue witnessed a moving, international musical offering by the 200 recent alumni of the Global Top Gun Workshop. They sang “The Father’s Dwelling Place” in Korean and “You Raise Me Up,” their voices strong and united despite their multilingual backgrounds. Then, the much anticipated Universal Peace Choir -- a virtual choir made up of over 350 singers from around the world -- sang a medley of True Parents’ favorite songs. Along with a live choir, a screen projected the videos of all participating singers.

The event began with Rev. Kyeong Seuk Lu, president of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Korea and co-executive chair of the Universal Seonghwa Committee, as emcee.

“We are gathered here to celebrate and inherit the peace endeavors of Rev. Moon,” he began. “Today, on this third anniversary Seonghwa memorial, we offer gratitude to True Father who was in the forefront of the work of our Heavenly Parent, a peace-loving global citizen. True Father’s love is the greatest blessing in our lives and is a lamp that will never go out.” He directed everyone’s attention to True Father’s portrait on the screen, surrounded by thousands of white flowers in full bloom.

After his introduction, True Mother entered the stadium and offered flowers before True Father’s portrait. Everyone took a moment of silence to pay their respects, and then Joon Seok An, FFWPU International Vice Chairman, said an opening prayer, fondly recollecting True Father, his love and smile, his words, and his legacy.

The event opened with a floral tribute, as members of True Parents’ family, leaders, Unificationist elders and Peace Ambassadors walked onto the stage and offered flowers in honor of True Father.

As they took their seats, everyone welcomed Sun Jin Moon, FFWPU International President, to the podium for a memorial address. She touched upon significant moments in True Father’s life, and exuded awe and gratitude at the legacy that he left behind.

“When I think of True Father, I see him even hugging his enemy,” she said. “Nothing could stop him from expressing true love. If I focus on one central theme that characterizes his entire life, it is a theme of unification, of oneness. This core principle was used for the sake of establishing one family under God, and every project had this vision in mind.”

At the end of her message, she asked everyone to stand, turn to their neighbor and offer a big hug just like True Father would. She emphasized that H stands for Harmony, U for Unity, and G for Gratitude to God.

A couple of eulogies were then shared by Lee Soo Seong, former Prime Minister of Korea, and Anote Tong, President of the Republic of Kiribati and co-laureate of the first Sunhak Peace Prize.

“Rev. Moon promoted the mature path of realizing a global unity by walking the path of interracial, interreligious and international reconciliation,” said Soo Seong Lee. “He may have ascended but his words remain etched in our hearts.”

Anote Tong, on a similar note, said, “Sun Myung Moon is a man whose life and work has reached all corners of the globe and will remain a beacon for generations to come. Rev. and Mrs. Moon’s vision of a world that coexists in harmony is embodied in the principles that Rev. Moon has taught -- the principle of living for the sake of others. As parents and grandparents ourselves, we can easily understand and associate ourselves with such a principle, for our children and grandchildren are what give meaning to our lives and are the reason for which we must advocate for a peaceful and safe world.”

As one of True Father’s greatest wishes was the reunification of Korea, it was heartwarming to also discover that Premier Kim Jong Un sent his condolences with a gift and message to True Parents. The screen displayed his gift, and the audience applauded warmly at this gesture. “Let us hope that the doors between North and South Korea open up wide,” said Rev. An.

A commemorative video displayed the providential work of True Parents, including historical footage of True Father, his final prayer, his Seonghwa ceremony in 2012 and the continuation of his legacy in the last three years.

Everyone then warmly welcomed True Mother to give the main address. She led everyone together in song, singing Sarang Hae, and then reflected in her message that Heaven chose Korea, a then unknown nation to receive True Parents, who lived not in glory but in sacrifice. She said that even though they walked this difficult path, True Parents were determined to realize the will and dream of God. They invested themselves and resolved to accomplish this mission. She spoke of True Father’s providential work in America, the challenges he fought and overcame, and how he educated people in every walk of life. She encouraged everyone to reflect on what they would like to tell True Father, and to tell him not to worry, that the culture of heart he has been championing his entire life will become a reality worldwide.

Everyone applauded in support to share in this determination, and as True Mother took her seat again in the audience, a commemorative performance organized by FFWPU Japan commenced.

This musical and dance performance, titled “A Person Who Loved Japan More than Anybody Else,” expressed True Father’s life achievements. With vivid emotion and graceful movement, performers delivered a message of dedication to True Parents’ vision. Through the musical they expressed their gratitude and love for True Father and True Mother, and gave everyone a final opportunity to reflect on True Father’s life and heart. In the final song, the background screen displayed a slideshow of images from Japanese Unificationists. Universal Peace Academy (UPA) cadets joined the performers on stage holding flags of different countries, the song lyrics calling everyone to action in carrying forward the legacy.

As the memorial celebration drew to a close, there was a chance for everyone to offer a flower tribute and share a moment with True Father in reflection and prayer.

“This is the beginning of something new,” reflected Top Gun participant and official blogger, M. Kim. “We are blessed to embark on our Top Gun alumni journey after commemorating the third anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa. I hope we can continue to keep this international network and begin laying down plans for the future of our movement. Most of all, I hope we can keep a sincere connection with our Heavenly Parent and True Parents.”

Following the Seonghwa memorial, there was a Victory Celebration during which Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Chair of FFWPU North America, and Dr. Michael Balcomb, FFWPU USA President, offered True Mother a gift on behalf of America: a poster highlighting all of True Parents’ speaking tours in America in the last 50 years. This is a reminder of all that True Parents have done for America, and all that America pledges to do in return, standing by True Mother’s side and bring True Father’s legacy to unforeseen greatness, building a world of peace for God and for humanity.

We remember how True Father would look at each one of us and poor down on us Word of Love like an angry lion... We truly miss True Father... From a secular viewpoint, we mourn our parent three years but in addition at a time for Father to add His last filial to set that standard and condition...

The last few years we have overcome many difficulties and now can visibly see the Cheon Il Guk setting down roots... around the world centered on Asia and the peace movement centered on True Parents Peace Ideology... We remain after the substantial path True Parents set down and expressed our hope by bicycle, foot and even by car... That peace ideology is being substantiated all over the world... existing problems are being able to be resolved because of True Parents Blood, Sweat and Tears and the combined hearts of all, I report...

Indeed to all people around the world, True Parents have given Their Hearts... an indomitable force of true love is True Father, expressing His embracing Heart with compassion, generosity, and hopes for peace... I see Him even hugging His enemies... called by Heaven, by Jesus Himself, to face a challenge beyond apprehension, enduring torturous, He prevailed... a roaring first of passion for God and humanity... One theme is of unification and oneness... everything He did for that centered on true love, life and lineage... 'to become one in a core nation of peace ' applies to every race, culture and civilization for establishing one nation under God...

Oneness, of course, does not come automatically but by every day of His Life to Teach, Bless and raise every human being... then forming the Partnership of Himself with True Mother as One absolutely united Couple, They fulfill the Position of True Parents... Thank you True Father, Thank you True Mother...

There is no place True Father did not take His Message, governance, sports, unification of Korean Peninsula, culture, education, the list goes on and on... Nothing can be encapsulated in one Book... what Their Life has substantiated... 3 years passed since ascension of Rev. Sun Myung Moon... Many have come and have been close to Rev. Moon on more occasion than I have, nevertheless I am humbled to have been selected to give today's address. First, I hope that the warm, beloved Hak Ja Han is able to fulfill the Mission given to Her by God...

We still see countless people dying...even in Korea endless conflicts and moral decay and whenever I hear that news I feel the importance of Rev. Moon's existence who devoted Himself entirely to world peace and world prosperity... His complete legacy cannot be mentioned but He devoted His mind and body and truly loved God and realizing the ideal world God longed for and in His prayer just before His ascension He said He has accomplished everything.

Until the last moment on this earth, filial piety and loyalty to God and love for humanity and life lived in accordance with Heavenly law and traveled around the world to promote peace activities and promoted the mature path of global community by walking the path of international reconciliation and cooperation.

At the time of unstoppable Soviet expansion, Rev. Moon announced the downfall and met with Pres. Gorbachev and led the way with women's.. Is there another person who has done so much... who has married young people and paved the way for them to realize peace and true love through the Blessing...

I offered opening remarks for the Blessing that transcends races and religion...it lowers divorce rates but also opens deeper harmony... Rev. Moon has incomparable passion for unification between North and South Korea, going there when tensions were greatest and dared to shock them by mentioning why their ideology was wrong... He could do it because He led a Life of true love... He created the unity centers and made ideals possible because of His own life as a model.

Rev. Moon may have ascended but His Words are still in our heart and Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon has also, as Rev. Moon often said, we must invest our mind, body, mind and soul toward advancing it

I wish Mrs. Moon tremendous success and love and grace to all of you and your families...

As parents and grandparents ourselves, we can well understand and associated ourselves with such principle for our children and grandchildren are who gives meaning to our lives and for them we must continue to advocate for a peaceful and safe world..

As recipients of the Sun Hak Peace Prize... the issue of climate change has been the focus of mine for many years, for this planet is one that needs to be nurtured and treated with the respect and reverence that it deserves. Our Lord God Creator not only blessed us with this planet but with being the custodians of the blessings and resources that are part of this planet... However, with that comes the responsibility and cooperation to ensure that it is preserved for future generations... not to ever forget... To do so would endanger our children, our grandchildren and their children..

I applaud and honor the tradition of Rev. and Mrs. Moon. to live for the sake of others as one family under God and I am so honored to be associated with it... and it is one that will guide and strengthen my resolves in advocacy against the ills of climate change.

I have every confidence that His legacy through His dear Wife, Mrs. Moon and through His children and grandchildren, this legacy will live on and will flourish through the world... Let us share contributions toward preservation of this world as one family...

Today, we are so...we long for True Father so much... Until now, Heaven has yearned for and humanity has yearned for One Center for thousands of years in the history of the providence of restoration... unspeakable pain and tears have been shed to restore humanity. Two thousand years ago through the Israel nation, God sent Jesus Christ and wanted to complete the Providence of Salvation... Heaven worked so hard but with all of its efforts it ended with sorrow and pain and Jesus said 'I will come again'...

All history has been preparing to receive the Second Coming. However they did not know Heaven's eternal Providence and they did not understand who God is. That is why in the history of Christianity, even Communism emerged from the Christian cultural sphere... Think about it. From Heaven's viewpoint, how painful it was? However, the history of God's Providence marched forward...

At this time when Korea faces its greatest crisis... Korea was not known around the world, however, Heaven selected this nation and The Messiah Son and Daughter were born in this nation. However, in the world the people who are in the position of leaders, it is difficult for them to go to the lowest level... Think about it, the King of Kings, The Savior, The Lord of The Second Coming came on the foundation of the Christian sphere but they did not welcome Them... I am sure you are aware of this... Even though they walked this path, They determined to realize the Will of God.

However, when you look at the world in 1970 after the WWII, America was the representative nation of democracy and moving the world at that time. However, even to them there was a great challenge. In their notes they wrote 'In God we trust'. This was the nation ready to serve and follow God but... in the 70s they were facing the crisis of Communism and teenage problems, ideological problems... and the breakdown of the family. However, no one could stand and solve these problems at that time. True Father really left Korea behind and went all the way to America and said, 'I came as a doctor to treat the ailment of America and like a fireman to put out a huge fire in America'... What does this mean?...

All the leaders... Father awakened their spirit so that they respected F but they could not look to the future.. They blocked the path of Father from moving forward... Nevertheless, Father forgave them and raised America and eventually the threat of Communism was overcome (applause)

Not only in all of South America... It was a time when nations of the world was being communized, Tru Father educated leaders and raised these nations... The world does not recognize this... and that an individual achieved this. What nations with their wealth and power could accomplish it? they could not.. It was only possible because He was the True Father and True Parents...(applause) This is not all, on several occasions True Parents invested Themselves worrying about the future of humanity True Parents prepared for this earth.

For 2,000 years Christianity was prepared and if this nation and Christianity had helped, really the Providence of Salvation would not have been so painful... However, through many... as True Father mentioned, that the international highway was needed... 2006 True Father began to really move all the major nations and cities of America and I even lectured in Africa from the Cape of Good Hope going through Europe, Asia all way to Korean Peninsula... Alaska the Bering Strait... True Father spoke of highway across the Bering Strait and... island and Korean Peninsula... This is the vision that Rev. Moon gave us. This historic... When we look at the path, 121 nations participated in the global peace road and it was ended successfully... (Applause)

In history today when we look at the strong nations powerful nations, they all think they are the center and they look after their national interest first... However, the True Parents think of Heaven and how we can be all together all of us can become one because True Parents are opening the way for all of us to communicate and become one.

One hundred years ago in India there was the one who wrote the poem praising Korea saying that name will become the shining light of Asia. Today when we look at the Korean economy; it is not the light of Asia... The Light symbolizes the Word, the Truth, the Teachings of True Parents that can really stand before all of Asia and this world and this nation...

If that is the case, all of you gathered here today, what would you like to tell True Father... This is what I would like to tell "Father, from now on please do not worry. We will absolutely complete our responsibility!... That is why Father the eternal God was lonely... Please comfort God and True Parents, Please liberate God This is my hope... This is my desire

This is our responsibility that we can show before the entire world... the light of the culture of heart our flight and power... All of you go forward and do your best with the same determination as I have. (end of Mother's Speech)

In 1941 True Father began studying in Japan as a student and in the end He chose J to be the Eve nation and raised Japan... More than anyone else in the world, True Father loved Japan and J members have invested their absolute faith, love and obedience. This musical depicts 40-50 years in Fs relationship with J.

Most of the participants cannot speak Korean; however, they want to offer the musical in Korean and practiced for months and dedicated all the songs in Korean today. (applause)

Are you the young Seonghwa soldiers that have assembled here from seventy nations? You will become the owners of a substantial future.

I believe that this year, particularly now that we have only a day until Father' third Seonghwa memorial, members of our worldwide Unification Family have sincerely repented and offered conditions. This year also marks the seventieth anniversary of Korea's independence and that of the establishment of the United Nations.

During my speaking tour in Europe, I said that a movement to attend God must take place in the United Nations. Christianity has a two thousand year old cultural realm in Europe, in which Christians take great pride. Yet, Communism was born from that Christian cultural realm. Communism is an ideology that asserts God's nonexistence. Democracy is theist. However, there was a time when communist forces enjoyed enormous power. That was in the 1980s.

Beginning from 1970, the power of the United States began to weaken. Father believed that world peace would become more difficult to achieve if the United States, the country representative of the democratic world, was not set up on a firm foundation. Hence, despite the various situations taking place in Korea at that time, he crossed over to the United States with concern for the world and for humanity. He did a lot of work during our forty years in the United States.

In the 1970s, the United States was becoming sick from individualism, which penetrated the nation alongside the pride that obtains from becoming the central nation of the world soon after World War II. The collapse of the family, juvenile problems, drug problems and ideological problems were rampant. When the people of the United States -- whom Heaven had raised for two hundred years, began to flop down in their pursuit of their nation's benefit instead of the world's, Father came forward. He said he had come as a doctor because the United States was suffering from disease and that he had come as a firefighter because the United States was on fire. With this message, Father set off on a fifty-state speaking tour, gathering and awakening people from the upper class, political circles, financial circles and other related people.

That was why many intellectuals respected Father in the early days and why those who supported him increased in number. Unfortunately, politicians who could not look ahead, into the future, ended up persecuting Father because of their narrow views. With our being the True Parents who must bring salvation to all of humanity, True Father embraced them and was able to confidently move forward even amidst such a difficult situation.

All of you are probably under thirty. Hence, you will not be wholly familiar with True Parents' history. Thankfully, Chambumo Gyeong, the third volume of scripture, has been completed in both Korean and English during this Seonghwa period. You must study hard.

Ever since its inauguration, the United Nations did a great many things for the world. Had the United Nations not intervened in the Korean War, the Korea we know today would not exist. While conducting the providence, Heaven established the United Nations to protect the True Parents, who were to come to this country.

Sadly, however, the United Nations has no ideology. The countries that meet at the United Nations usually think of their own national benefit. They do not thoroughly know Heaven's providence. This is why no matter how much effort they invest in putting their heads together and trying to become one, it will not work because there has been no center, which is why I said that the United Nations must become an organization that attends Heavenly Parent and True Parents at the center.

Unseen by you, the providence of history has been unfolding with urgency. God created human beings so that he could become the True Parent through them. Yet, humans, who were supposed to rise to such a position, failed to fulfill their responsibilities.

They were greedy. Had they obeyed God's instruction and waited until they had completely grown, the world would not have become what it is today. We would have achieved the kingdom of heaven on earth and in the spiritual realm already. Man's error resulted in God carrying a heavy burden.

The six-thousand-year providential history mentioned in the Bible could have not moved forward without any indemnity. Are you learning about this through the Divine Principle? It took Heaven four thousand years of hard work in order for Jesus Christ to be born two thousand years ago. In other words, the process to raise the chosen people to the point that they establish a nation was not easy. This is why it took four thousand years. The law of indemnity is the reason it took so long.

Hence, God sent Jesus Christ, his only begotten son, after so much hard work and effort; yet, not only the people of Israel but also those in the Judaic realm and even Mary were unable to support Jesus. God's creation consists of plus and minus, pistil and stamen, male and female. Hence, having the only begotten son of God alone could not work out. Jesus had to find God's only begotten daughter, but he could not fulfill his responsibility.

This is why upon his crucifixion he said he would return. He will come back to carry out the marriage supper of the Lamb, in other words, to marry. Until now, Christians have been unaware of this truth. They do not know why the returning Lord is coming.

They believe that they can receive salvation by keeping their individual faith. Sadly, it does not work that way. Not realizing this, Christians have been calling us a cult instead. Our members are attending the True Parents.

You were born within the second- generation realm thanks to True Parents. You are different from those outside, in the world. Hence, I am telling you that you must grow well. The three thousand five hundred young people who have assembled here today must follow True Parents and become the personification of their path, the truth they gave us, the life and the love.

In order to do that, you must not put yourselves in the position of only wanting to receive. Just as True Parents have done, you must practice true love. You must have a heart that gives, gives and still wants to give and share. You must create such an environment. This responsibility lies ahead of you.

This is how we can achieve one world. I said you are pure water, didn't I? Clear water, however, must not be stagnant. It must continue to flow and give birth to many new lives wherever it flows.

This is the basics: True Parents have a dream. Just like God's dream, their dream is not having any muddy water in sight. Everything must become as clear as water. In other words, all people around the world must attend True Parents.

Did you just watch the Sunhak Peace Prize award ceremony program? Being the True Parent of humanity, for quite a long time, True Father was greatly concerned about all the problems humanity faced, including food problems and global warming.

He took the lead in trying to find ways to resolve these problems. True Father dedicated his entire life to realizing God's hope, to resolving the pain and bitterness of humanity and to building the world God had originally envisaged at the time of the Creation. Until now, the central figures that Heaven sent failed to fulfill their responsibilities.

Those standing on the Christian foundation, in particular, did not fulfill their responsibilities. They waited for the returning Lord but did not know the purpose of his return. They believed that only believers would go up to Heaven, riding on clouds. That, however, does not make sense. Right? This comes from not knowing the Principle of Creation, which is why you need to be in positions where you can teach. To do that, you must learn a lot, offer many devotions and invest a lot of effort. The absence of an owner and everyone desiring to become the owner as a result of that absence are the cause of all the different types of problems the world faces today.

This is why rich powerful countries are preparing for war in order to obtain more. They are producing weapons. On our way to a peaceful united world, weapons are unnecessary.

Isn't there a Bible verse that says that? That spears and knives will be melted to make what? It says they should be used to make farming tools. It says that plows and plowshares ought to be made out of them, doesn't it?

Because we are wasting money on unnecessary things, the earth is now in great pain. Desertification is not only happening in China, but also in the United States. With the ice melting at the North Pole, the sea level is getting higher. What do you think will happen? It will destroy the ecosystem.

Human disorderliness has resulted in things that destroy nature, which in turn is contaminating the seawater. As a result, the coral reefs, which are essential to the sea, are also dying.

When we think about all these points, can you just stand still? People that do not know this must be educated. That is why I have so much work to do. Will every single one of you at least help me do it?

Please have dreams: I will master a field in which True Parents desire me to work. I will become a great scholar. I will become a famous person. Please have dreams of that type. I sincerely hope you become Seonghwa students who achieve True Parents' dream.

The second day of the '2015 Summer Chung Pyung Special Great Works'

True Mother came to the Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. At 4:20PM on the second day of July 16 on the 3rd Year of the Heavenly Calendar (August 29th), during the '2015 Summer Chung Pyung Special Great Works' commemorating the 3rd Universal Seonghwa of Sun Myung Moon, the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind; True Mother gathered all the members that were attending the Youths and Students World Assembly and gave her special words for 30 minutes. In the Grand Hall the participants of the Youths and Students World Assembly listened to the special words, and in the Small Hall and the Chinhwa Education Building, members from all over the world that were participating the 'Summer Chung Pyung Special Great Works' listened to the special words of True Mother through a monitor, adding up to a total of 10,000 people.

The Tree of Love square was crowded with clouds of members welcoming True Parents.

The hall was full of cheers when True Parents entered. There was bowing, the presentation of flower bouquets (Korean Sunghwa representative Bumsoon Kim, Japanese Sunghwa representative Tanaka Humi), and a song from the Sunhak Children Choir (Self composed music 'It was a beautiful lake', and 'True Love Together'). And on this special day young 2nd generations, 3,500 Sunghwa students, CARP, and youths performed the 'Ceremony of dedicating hope to True Parents.' This is a ceremony where the youth students represent the whole world and dedicate 9 promises and resolutions to True Parents.

After the loud welcoming with clapping and cheers True Mother entered the stage and delivered the following message about the providence and vision in a slow and understandable way.

"Are you the young Sunghwa warriors from 70 countries?

You will become the actual owners of the future.

This year, Unification family members from all over the world must have repented and offered many conditions for the 3rd Universal Seonghwa of True Father.

It was also the year of the 70th anniversaries of Korea's Independence and the founding of UN.

When I was touring Europe, I spoke at the UN and said that movements serving God had to happen.

Europe is in a Christian culture of 2,000 years. Their pride is incredible. However from that Christianity, Communism was born. It is a belief that God does not exist. Democracy is about theism. But there was a time where that communism had a lot of power. That was the 1980s.

From the 1970s the power of the United States started to weaken. That is why True Father said that if we don't set America on a strong foundation as the model in the democratic world, world peace and unification would be hard, so even with several difficult circumstances in Korea he went to America and achieved a providential history for 40 year.

In the 1970s America was getting sick with individualism and the pride of becoming the center of the world after World War II. Family breakdowns, youth problems, drugs, and ideology conflicts were serious. Once a chosen nation (USA) that had grown for 200 years due to the effort of the heavens, they now stopped thinking of rest of the world and started thinking of its own interest True Father said America was sick, and that he had come as a doctor. I came as a firefighter because America is on fire. He said such things and gathered people from the upper political and financial world, and helped them realize the truth during his tour of the 50 states.

That is why at the beginning of the unification movement many intellectual leaders respected True Father and many forces began to support him. However politicians that could not look towards the future persecuted True Father with their narrow minds.

But True Parents meant to save mankind through American by embracing even those oppressing them; they were able to confidently move forwards in such difficult environments.

Most of you must be under 30. Then, you probably don't know the history of True Parents. However, thankfully due to the pursuit of this Seonghwajeol(Universal Seonghwa) the last of the three holy scriptures, Chambumokyeong in now published in English and Korean. (Clapping) You must study hard.

Since the UN was founded they did many things for the world. Primarily if the UN had not entered the 6.25 Korean War today's Korea would not exist. Under the providence the heavens founded the UN to protect the True Parents who were to come to this land. However the UN has no ideology. The countries that gather at the UN know only of their own country's interest, and don't know the providence of heaven. That is why no matter how much they try to put their heads together and become one they always fail because they don't have a center. So I told them that the UN had to put the Heavenly Parents and the True Parents at their center. (Clapping)

The history of providence is moving on urgently without you knowing. The reason God created man was to become the True Parents through human beings. The man that was to take that place did not fulfill his responsibility. He got selfish. If he had done as God commanded; obeyed and developed patiently, the world wouldn't be like this today. Heaven on Earth and Heaven in Heaven would have been made already. However the mistake of mankind gave God some very heavy burden.

The 6000 years of history of providence that is mentioned in the Bible. Without indemnity this history of providence cannot go forward. You are learning this through the divine principle, right? 2000 years ago it took 4,000 years of the troubles by heaven for Jesus Christ to be born. The process of developing the chosen people and establishing a nation was far from smooth. That is why it took 4000 years. It was because of the Principle of indemnity.

Under such hard effort and troubles were born the only-begotten son Jesus Christ, but the Israel people, Judaism, and even Maria did not cooperate with Jesus. The creation of God was made up of plus and minus, pistil and stamen, and male and female, so it would not work with only the only-begotten son. An only-begotten daughter was to be born, but that responsibility was not fulfilled. That is why Jesus Christ said, 'I will be back' on the Cross. It meant he would come back and have the feast of the lamb, or in other words, marry.

Until now Christianity does not know about this. They don't know why the Second Coming of the Messiah is happening. They think that by only believing and being saved alone everything will be ok, but that is not enough. From a position where they don't know this, they call us heathens and cults. We worship the True Parents. Are you 2nd generations due to True Parents? (Yes) It is different from the world. So I am telling you that you must grow up well.

All of the 3,500 youths here today must become the incarnation of love, road, truth, life, love that resembles True Parents! (Clapping) In order to do that you must not only try to receive. You must practice True Love like True Parents. You have to make an environment and attitude where you want to give and share more and more. There is such responsibility in front of you. (Clapping)

That is the crossroad to a united world. Do you get it? (Yes) I said you were pure water, right? Pure water cannot stop. It must flow. It has to give birth to organisms where it goes. That is the basics.

There is the dream of True Parents. Like the dream of God, the dream of True Parents is to have no muddy water in their sight. It has to be all clean water. This means that all mankind has to worship True Parents. (Clapping)

Did you see the Seonhak Peace Prize program earlier? True Father was the one who always worried about food problems for mankind and global warming problems, and was always out there first wondering and putting action into how such problems could be improved. He spent his whole life fulfilling the wish of God and releasing the resentment of mankind, and tried to make the ideal world that God initially meant to create.

Until now the central figure that heaven prepared and sent down did not fulfill their responsibility. They waited for the Second Coming of the Messiah, but did not know what to do once He came. They thought that the believers of the Messiah would ride the clouds up into the sky. That doesn't make sense. Right? They don't know the Principle of Creation.

Therefore you have to be in the position of teaching. In order to do that you must learn a lot and make conditions with sincerity. The cause of all problems that the world is facing today is that everyone wants to be the masters without having a true mater to serve.

That is why powerful nations prepare for wars to possess even more. They are making weapons. You don't need such things on the road to unity and peace. It says so in the Bible (Isaiah 2:4), right? Melt the spears and swords and make what? It says to make farming tools. It says to make ploughs and plowshares, right?

Earth is aching while humans are wasting money in unnecessary areas. Not only China but even America is suffering desertification. And the ice of the North Pole is melting, making the surface of the sea rise, so what is going to happen? Ecosystems will be destroyed. Disorder and things that destroy nature are polluting the ocean. So the coral reefs that the ocean needs are dying. When we think about this, can we just stand here and do nothing? We need to educate the people who do not know. I have so much to do, so will each one of you give me a hand?

You must have dreams. "I will be a leader in the area that True Parents want. I will become a great scholar. I will be famous to a great extent."

With such dreams, I hope you can become Sunghwas that fulfill the dream of True Parents. (Clapping)"

After Oeg mansei, True Mother took a commemoration photo with the Youths and Students World Assembly participants. Members from all over the world like always continuously clapped for True Mother as she exited.

Tong-il Moo-do Celebration with True Mother on August 25, 2015

The 1970's in America had lots of problems -- for 200 years the nation was prepared but by the 70's it was sick and True Father had to be the fireman to extinguish the fire of destruction. He assembled and toured 50 states to awaken the US and many people respected him although politicians began to persecute him. However, True Father embraced them and wished to save all humanity through it. This is because True Father is a True Parent. He confidently and boldly moved forward.

If you are under 30 years old you don't know all the history of True Parents. Therefore I am grateful that the three main scriptures will be published in Korean, Japanese, and English now by the third Seunghwa. Please study these arduously.

In the 70 years of Korean independence and UN foundation- without them Korea would not exist since the UN sent many nations to protect the messiah who was coming on this earth -- this was why the UN was founded. However, the UN did not have the ideology -- they only pursued their personal national interests but didn't know the plan of God. The center must be Heavenly Parent and True Parent's and the UN must attend them.

So did I do a good job? Isn't that so? True Mother is the best, right? You must love me [joking with the crowd]. Actually you're telling me not to talk anymore [also a joke and the audience laughs].

God created the universe all the way to human beings so that they could create the True Parent's. Humanity's mission was to welcome and bring the True Parent's but they failed in their position. If humans had followed God's commandment then our world would not exist the way it does -- because of our failure God had to carry a heavy burden for 6,000 years -- without indemnity we could not move forward -- you know this through the Divine Principle, right?

Heaven prepared a chosen nation and people -- by going through trials and tribulations God was able to send Jesus. However, no one helped him although he was the creation of God. God needed an only daughter but Jesus could not find her. Because of that Jesus said he had to come again and host the marriage of the lamb. The meaning of his words was that he had to marry -- Christians don't know that just believing is not enough -- they don't know complete salvation. But they call us a sect/cult.

The 2nd generation are different from the outside world, BUT you need to grow up well. We have 3,500 students today and your mission is to really grow well and resemble True Parent's. Follow the path and embody True Parent's heart. In order to do that, do not just think of receiving. As True Parents have shown you -- you need to Live for the Sake of Others. When you give you should want to give more. Create this kind of environment -- that is your responsibility. This will be the path going towards one world.

Pure water must flow -- it needs to bring lots of new life and that is your unique responsibility. True Parent's dream is that you not be like dirty water -- you must be clear and pure. All of humanity must attend True Parents'. Right now, you heard about the Sunhak Peace Prize and the other reports on the TV/radio. Because we are the True Parents of humanity we know points that the rest of the world hasn't thought about yet -- we have worried about environmental destruction, poverty, etc.

True Father resolved to fix the pain of heaven and realize the ideal world God wanted from creation. Therefore I ask you to offer lots of devotion and study a lot. The vice of the world is the selfishness. We need to turn our weapons into tools and create food instead of war. Global warming and destruction -- we need to educate people who don't know True Parent's and I hope that all of you will help me -- will you?

All of you have a dream -- I hope your life will become this dream and also help True Mother on your way. I want you think "I will be the best scholar, the best person to help True Parent's." Please have dreams and realize these dream for True Parent's.
