People celebrate various feasts such as birthdays, weddings, and Christmas, and enjoy themselves. But heaven has not had such festivals to rejoice. But this Day is the one that heaven celebrates and rejoices. Individuals, families, societies, and nations may have things to be proud of. But would heaven be truly proud of them and would like to crown them? No! Now is the time when we must examine their value. This is the time when the typhoon of Divine Words are going to blow up toward the corrupted atmosphere You must endure in this typhoon of great judgment and must survive it. We are tares who have inherited Satanic elements. We are prisoners confined inside Satanic barbed wire. There were all kinds of ugly and dirty events in our lineage. Hence a religion required denial of oneself.

Ultimately we have to deny our parents, wife, and children and long for the world of true liberty. We must courageously break the barbed wire and kill the guards (the devil) and run away to the great judge and demonstrate ourselves to be members of the original world of God's creation. Thus we must be recognized and admitted by Heaven. As a matter of fact, the great judgment will not bring mass slaughter by fire. Judgment is separation. Therefore it is the day in which all mankind and spirits will be set free. Then each person or spirit will go where he likes. The first result will be that; all people will be divided and gather together according to their traits, backgrounds, or professions. Then finally they will end up according to their spiritual or status.

The two conflicting ideologies will be coordinated and the realization of one world is imminent. Human history is being directed and will conclude where it originally started. Blessed are the people who have a broad and great view of history. Heaven will directly, coordinate history through the sharp eyed leader who has Christian background and thus bring one world.

The Unified Family! What an affectionate title of heart! This family is running along with the forceful trend of Heaven which is now in climax. Your goal is not far.

Jesus made such bold statements with full conviction: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." (Mt. 11:28) "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (Mt. 23:29) "I am the way, the truth, and the life" "He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. He who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me" (Mt. 10:37) He declared himself to be the Bridegroom. Jesus required the greatest love and service of his followers. He called God his Father and called himself His son. He also hinted that he came as the father of mankind. For these reasons he was fully qualified to become the Savior of Mankind.

No philosophy, no trend of thought, or no religion has ultimate value if it does not appeal to hearts, does not have the element of feeling. This is because hearts are originated from Heaven and eventually return to Heaven as their Father and Mother. The relationship of sons and daughters to the Father and Mother as the representation of heaven and earth is the core of Christianity, and because of this Christianity is superior to all other religions.

The Unified Family live with this idea, that of the True Parents. If you cry out to the Father with hungry stomach and in rags, He cannot but come to you rather than to a comfortable bed and full stomach. The universal masters were those whose ambition was to possess Heaven itself. Isn't it magnificent! When the brothers and sisters who are united by hearts attentively serve the Father and endeavor to fulfill His will enduring hunger and cold. His blessed family and His blessed nation will be formed with them.

Up until now the Father has been seeking His children who were covered with boils in their slavery in Satan's world. The Father has been teaching that He was their Father but they would not easily recognize Him. Still worse, when they would be recaptured by Satan, the Father bitterly cried and suffered for them and with them. This is our Father. Those who cry painfully enough with the Father are His true children and true masters of religion.

The religion which teaches to the core how sorrowful and how lonely and how painful the Father is, is the true religion. This religion reaches the heart of Heaven. The true and ideal sons and daughters are those who know the situation and heart of the father and mother. Do not stay in the status of servants or even adopted children. A real son or daughter would inherit the spite and grief of the Heaven and would eliminate them for the Father.

To seek such real and ideal sons and daughters is the ultimate goal of God's providence. To become this cosmic fruit you have to be grafted to the Heaven. To be grafted there is a process of cutting off from the tree, which is the three years ministry through hardships.

Having endured the three years suffering you will become ripened fruits to be accepted proudly by the Father. What a self-centered prayer it is to ask God to bear your worries and burden when you are in a comfortable place. Don't remain in such a state any longer. When you come with whole-hearted devotion and undivided love and faithfulness, the Savior will come to such children and such a nation.

He will come to you as your father and give His heart to you. Where can we meet such a Father? You can meet Him in the Garden of Gethsemane, and on the hill of Calvary, and inherit His spiteful tears, His blood, and His sweat. In turn you confront Satan with this inheritance and knock him down. The Father is seeking such children, the cosmic harvest, the victorious fruits to plant on the New Earth.

Even the fallen parents wish that their children would become better and greater than themselves in all aspects. This is the heart of the parents. How much more our Father would like to see wonderful children who resemble His perfect image, and see the children multiply generation after generation. This is my prayer for this Day.

… We did not realize that there were enemies. We did not realize that the enemies were standing against heaven and earth. We did not realize the whole world was in their hands. Father! Now we know this. The enemies are trying to control mankind continually, and will do so even in the future. They are standing against Thee, against the True Parents, against the true families, and they have also been standing against your faithful servants throughout all ages. Father! How long have you been waiting for those who can and will conquer and subjugate these enemies!

Father, I give the responsibility to those who are blessed today. We are even at this moment amidst the enemies' camp. Hearing the enemies shouting, we must march on to the enemies' camp. Our whole being is completely ready for the command to rush into the enemies' camp. We know, Father, what sorrow and grief came to Adam's family when sin was repeated on the alters of Cain and Abel!

We must restore that in which Adam failed. We must unite the entangled and complicated history of evil and straighten it out. We must feel indignant about the fact that Cain slew Abel, and we must go through the bloody way for Abel. The rebellious descendants passed 1600 years under enemies' control. Then Noah was raised and judgment exercised by flood. But because of Ham's failure you r dispensation was delayed another 400 years.

You raised Abraham, but he also failed and brought about 400 years of slavery in Egypt. Let us realize, Father, how deeply, you have been grieving and suffering in all these events. We must follow the sorrowful path which our predecessors have gone through to fulfill your Will. When Noah heard the voice of God, he obeyed with gratefulness and awe. His family laughed at him. Other people mocked at him and said he was crazy. Noah cried and shouted that there would be 40 days of flood judgment, even when there was no sign of rain. No ears listened to him, no eyes paid attention to him. The flood judgment came upon them without delay, but on one responded to Noah's tearful appeals! Alas, this foundation was also destroyed.

Why did the Israelites suffer for 400 years in Egypt? What a sorrow it was! When their suffering was over the Israelites were anxious to see the land of God's promise. But the way to the land was not an easy one. You sent four major prophets and twelve minor prophets, but no one listened to them or received them. In order to straighten out all these crooked paths, the Messiah came. Who knew that the baby in the manger of Bethlehem was the Messiah?

We have gathered here, Father, to make this nation prosper, to make whole mankind prosper, and to make you, Father, prosper. We dedicate ourselves to this cause, to Your Will. We are willing to bear hunger, hardship, despite, because we have such a mission to fulfill, such a task to untie the complex entanglement of history.

Their fathers and mothers did not receive them. Their intimate friends turned away from them. Their whole society despised them. Fellow Christians condemned them as heretics and rejected them. However, you have raised them and led them with most loving care, for which I am only thankful.

People have rejected Your Word despite their earnest witnessing. I am afraid that this will bring disaster upon them. I have now married these people through You and centered upon You Father. Let them make it their daily task to become true husbands and wives before you and most obedient sons and daughters to You, Father. Let them make it their life's goal to become truly good men and women on earth.

Today is June 4th, May 3rd according to our lunar system! Who knew that this would be the Day for which you had been waiting so long. To see this Day how much You have endured and grieved throughout all ages! I now dedicate, Father, these seventy two couples to You. With them I will lay a foundation and make a new start. Make them the foundation of Restoration.

If you wish us to endure further, we shall do so. We are determined and resolved; nothing can stop us. The Day of Promise is very near at hand. I didn't think that I would be able to live this long, but You have sustained me though all hardships. You said to me once, "The way to death is calling you, will you still go on?" Father, this voice is still fresh to me. I do thank you, Father, You took hold of me when I was weak and stumbling. You encouraged me and strengthened me over and over again, saying, "Endure, Endure!"

When I was beaten, You were beaten with me. When I was reviled, you were reviled with me. If there is anything I can be proud of, it is all yours. From one to thousand, all things are yours Father!

I am now closing this ceremony. Father, remember this Day, June 4th, 1962. Please now liberate all angels, the twenty four elders, and all saints, and let them sing and danced with joy because of this Day.

Prayer: Let us be worthy to commemorate the Day of the Restoration of All Things

When we consider that we have ushered in the glorious day when the world of death is newly restored through the relationship with True Parents established by Heaven, we know all this is because of Your sacrificial endeavors, Father. Father, we are truly grateful. Please accept our sad hearts, which know You, though we can't find words to express how we feel. Since our bodies know You centering on our hearts, please accept our bodies as well. Since the husbands and wives who have been united in body know You as well, please accept them. Since the sons and daughters You have gifted to these couples also know You, please accept them. Unworthy as we are, we have followed with hearts concerned about Your Will and have tried to emulate the achievements and tradition You have fulfilled with blood, sweat and tears. This includes all the history of the First, Second and Third Israels. Accordingly, though we are deficient in achieving Your solemn Will to restore Your family, nation, world, land, sovereignty and people, please look upon us with approval for gaining a foothold of victory over our enemy and for standing on that foundation, through which we can fulfill these conditions.

We have already learned through the teachings we have received that all these given conditions will certainly be fulfilled, though it may take time to do so. Bearing this responsibility in our everyday lives, we stand more firmly than anyone else. Therefore, Father, please feel at ease and please accept everything we have. At today's dedication ceremony, we wish to offer the children of True Parents and the center of the heavenly family You have established, with Your sons and daughters of the third age serving as their shield. We would like to request in advance that, if there are any inadequacies or insufficiencies in this ceremony, they will not become conditions allowing Satan's accusation.

Since everything is brought about through Your compassion, please allow us in this gathering to avoid mistakes leading to indemnity like those of Noah, Abraham or Moses. We sincerely hope that You alone have dominion.

Though this holy day is July 26, 1963, we have already informed You it will be extended to the last day of the coming April. Furthermore we plan to declare the next day, the first day of May, as the day we dedicate all things. Please accept this day.

For the Day of All Things to be possible, there must be Parents' Day and Children's Day. Accordingly, we established the first day of March as Parents' Day in Your presence, we established the first day of October as Children's Day in Your presence, and we have now established the first day of May as the Day of All Things in Your presence. We have now set the horizontal conditions on earth to find the one day of restoration in the world You created. Therefore we understand that on the basis of all these holy days there remains one day we need to find and establish, which is God's Day.

When that day is instituted we will make a declaration together with the entire cosmos. Therefore we have instituted all these holy days to completely establish all the victorious conditions for that day. Accordingly, until we have extended that day and fully instituted God's Day, we will continue to fight, we will continue to endure and we will continue to march forward. Therefore, Father, please embrace us with Your direct divine protection. Please grant that heaven and earth become one, please grant that heaven and all citizens become one, and please grant that True Parents and the children become one for the sake of Heaven.

In doing so, we wish to set out from this foothold and conquer all twenty five thousand miles of the distance around the planet Earth until all humanity has been bound together as one family, through relationships based on heart and blood kinship. Therefore please accept this as a foundation that has already been established, even though everything begins from this day. To offer You the sovereignty of our hearts, and for the sake of the sovereignty that we proudly demonstrate in our daily lives, we will continue to fight. We dedicate Your people to You with our hearts, and we dedicate with our hearts all created things that have welcomed their Father. Please accept our offering of devotion. Moreover, we pledge to dedicate the remaining people and things of creation through our lives. Therefore, Father, please grant us the time to do so.

We sincerely hope that Your glory will be with us throughout this ceremony. To commemorate the Day of All Things, the devoted followers and children of the Unification Church have collected an offering of money with blood and tears and wish to dedicate this donation to You, Father, with all their heart and body. With such envelopes of money as we are offering, we have built the ship, the Cheon Seung Ho. Furthermore, since we know that You will also joyfully receive the factories and all other enterprises we are operating and that have been designated as belonging to Heaven on the basis of the material foundation we reported earlier as well as all expenditures, please accept everything as belonging to You. We pray that prestige, glory and praise be with You, Father, for all eternity, and offer this day in the name of True Parents. Aju!

Why was the name of the Unification Church originated? It became necessary because of the Fall of Man. By the same token, this is why all sorts of religions were born throughout history. Today, you experience a distorted sadness in your environment and heart because man fell. Therefore, the root of all kinds of suffering and sorrow was the Fall of Man. You know this fact very well.

Right Lifestyle of the Members of Unification Church

Now, since you are a member of Unification Church, what should be the focus of your thoughts? You must think what will bring about unification in history and the world; a Heaven and Earth divided because of the Fall of Man.

You must long to see harmony and unity. With your hearts filled with longing for this unity, if you will be heartistic shields and protection for this world against the attacks of billions of satans, you are qualified as members of Unification Church.

The member of Unification is an individual and the Unification Church represents the whole. Thus, each member must have conviction to annihilate Satan -- the enemy who opposes Heaven 's will to unite this world and whose work is to divide this cosmos – and each of you must unite together as one sharing the same heart of sorrow and anguish as God. This band of Unificationists must be like this.

Heaven wants to gather not just one individual, but numerous tribes of humanity throughout the world. If we glance at this world from God's view, our hearts will be filled with an unbearable sorrow. Religions were born not just for the certain age when they came about. However, there are so many religions, while separated and disintegrated, are proud of only their respective historical backgrounds, and wield power that influences many nations, and has separate traditions firmly established. This is the sad reality seen from Heaven's side who wants to unify the world.

How can the one unified religious body for Heaven's purpose be achieved? We must resolve and remove the root cause of this disunity; thus creating one unified religion. Unless we are able to achieve this, we cannot establish one nation. Unless we can restore this nation, we cannot restore one Heaven and earth.

Therefore, the members of the Unification Church, who would represent this history of restoration, must put importance on the word, unification and demonstrate the value of unification throughout their life. You must be the group who welcomes the emergence of the unified world in your lifetime even in your dreams.

Today, what the members of Unification church should know is how we can bring the unity among these religions? We are not talking about temporary unification. We are talking about the eternal unification. Starting from, creating unity in our daily living, unity in our actions, unity in ideologies, and then bringing about the unity in our hearts: these are the things that we must accomplish. Unless we can show something better, it is impossible to bring about unity.

First, you must show your characters. Second, you must show your lifestyle and deeds based on true religious conviction. In order to do these, you must develop your character that can represent historical ideology and idealism. Thus, you must live a life that can be remembered for eternity. Moreover, your deeds must be publicly recognized by the entire world. Your lifestyle should not be a façade or masquerade; but your life should be truthful and stand on the foundation that your action follows your thought and determination completely. Otherwise, it is impossible to bring about the unification.

Then, who is the person that is fully equipped with all these characteristics? He is the man of character who can recognize all human conditions and situations. He is not a man who can recognize limited situations of humanity. He is the man of character both internally and externally; and he can understand all conditions of mankind and represent the historical situations of man before the Heaven even if he had to face and overcome twisted historical challenges, pains and anguishes of the ages, and difficulties of the future.

Prayer: Please Bear With Our Mistakes of The Past

Father! Because we know that you did not cast away fallen humankind, and we know the results of your hard work for 6,000 years in order to reach and reestablish us and we know your heart of compassion, we have come before you with a mind to bow down before you.

We know that you have an eager heart which could not help but wander and search for us, a mind which could not just throw us away, and we have come before you today like this calling you "Father." Please bear with us.

We are inadequate in view of your heart of longing for eternal sons and daughters with whom your heart can communicate. Please remember that our minds are longing for you alone. We earnestly hope and desire, Father, that you will see and consider compassionately that in our minds our earnest, original hearts want to relate to your internal nature.

Oh, Father! This position where we have to long for the world of your holy original creation has become a position of sorrow. And furthermore, we cannot help but think it is extremely deplorable that we are in a position where we cannot help but report truthfully that we are so inadequate that we cannot appear before you. Now when we consider all the traces in the background of history we understand that we were substantial beings of sorrow, and pitiful beings who did whatever we pleased in front of you, Father. We cannot help but feel pain in our hearts that we were not able to appear at some point as object partners of glory before you heart, or to become the descendants of our ancestors who could praise your glory, Father, representing the entire universe. Please bear with the sins of our ancestors, and please bear with the pitiful situation of humankind today, and we earnestly hope and desire that you will bear with the fact that people do not know they have the mission to prepare the foundation for the eternal welfare of their descendants.

You have worked hard until now, Father. Now through the Principle we have come to know that our father is a sorrowful father, our will is a sorrowful will, our history is a history of suffering unjustly, and our lives are lives invaded by Satan. Thus, we cannot raise our heads before you, Father, when we think that we are still struggling in the midst of an environment filled with grief.

Satan still has power on this earth; an unrighteous environment remains on the earth, and the dominion of evil is dominating the cosmos. At this time when we are watching this reality which is demanding the sorrow of heaven, please especially have compassion for us who are in the position where we who are seeking heaven, we who are praising your desire, and calling your name, have experienced our inadequacy and cannot help but appeal to you, Father.

If it were not for your power and your protection, Father, we would not be able to remain here substantially on this evil earth today. We are the inadequate people who would not be able to have anything remain in front of the will of the providence. In view of the fact that we who are like this have come before you, and we are those who know our reality as it is; please augment your heart of compassion one more time and remember us. Please call us to task for our lack of faith, and counsel us to be able to relate to the path of loyalty and filial piety. Please supplement our inadequacies, and we earnestly hope and desire that you will increase our power to be able to come close to completeness. We have humbly prayed in the name of the Lord. Amen.

Father, we know that the sorrowful path of restoration is filled with complexities. Nevertheless, having trudged and fought along this path, with one hill left to go over before You can enjoy the Sabbath, we now feel that the time when we can sing the praises of the day of hope is drawing near.

We know that all this is not because of our hard work. Rather it is because of the hard work You invested so we could stand on the foundation of Your endless labors, unknown to anyone else.

In this age You have given us Parents' Day and Children's Day, and we thank You for accepting us within this wonderful realm of destiny in which, on the basis of one family and on the foundation of resonance in heart with You, Father, we can attend You as the Father who represents the one tribe, people, world and cosmos.

Beloved Father, please grant that we do not become people who complain when we are pulled by this destiny. We realize that we must take responsibility to cope with our destiny, take the lead and go forward. We also realize that the holy days were necessary to accomplish this purpose. Accordingly, we know it is our mission to shoulder the responsibility of sons and daughters, which is to exact retribution from the billions of enemies of God, the enemies of humanity, the enemies of all things of creation and the enemies of heaven, and to receive written declarations of surrender from them.

Now we realize that we must carry out responsible activities to restore by ourselves all the things of creation that were lost We earnestly hope and desire that You allow us to usher in Your Sabbath from now on, to take responsibility for the entire history of sorrow in our age on a horizontal level, and return only glory to You on a vertical level.

At this point in time, when we are about to face the last crisis of the three year course, please enable all the things of creation in heaven and on earth to become one. Furthermore, we earnestly hope and pray, Father, that wherever true hearts are found You may erect the foundation upon which we can stand in victory and glory, upholding Your wonderful and eternal standard. Since many of Your sons and daughters are fighting even today to achieve this, and are also appealing to You at this time, we earnestly hope and desire that You listen to each of these hearts and to all of their appeals, and please establish the day of victory in accordance with Your entire Will.

Within this same realm of grace, please protect all Your sons and daughters who are spread throughout the world for the sake of this work, and please grant that they do not become exhausted while facing this brutal battle. We earnestly hope and desire that You allow them to endure and remain to the end, until the final day of glory is established.

Loving Father, we thank You for being with us today. We earnestly hope and pray that You move us to make sincere efforts, that once again, through our minds and bodies and as we return home, we may find ourselves adequate to stand as victorious warriors of heaven who, with renewed resolution, embody glory on the newly laid foundation. Please accomplish everything according to Your Will and please allow only the glory of the victory You planned to be realized in the entire cosmos. We humbly pray in the name of the Lord. Aju!
