Prayer: Please Let Us Become Children Who Are Able To Say We Will Go Forward For Your Sake Alone

We have determined to be loyal in relation to the remaining path of restoration. We have come to know that your road was so miserable and so sorrowful as you sought the result of goodness which no one knows about.

Please allow us to become children who when we relate to you are able to call you our father, and who have become sons and daughters who are confident that we have the dignified appearance of sons and the dignified appearance of daughters, and that we are able to call out your name. Until now in the course of history so many people have called your name, Father. But there were many people calling you from a position lower than that of stepchildren. Please allow at least us to be able to call you, Father, with a destined relationship of heart which penetrates to the bones. Please allow us to realize clearly that we have become holy Unification Church members who are able to serve you centered on one family and who are able to respond directly to you when you say, "Oh yes, my son, my daughter," relating to us as those who have the destined relationship of your children.

We earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to become your children who know how to make an effort and will go forward for you alone while acknowledging of our own volition that we are beings who will disappear for the sake of your purpose because we are beings who were born for you, and we are existing for you having penetrated deep into that heart no one knows.

The Unification children are gathered in this place, but this is absolutely not a place where we have gathered in order to boast about ourselves. We are by no means people who have gathered in order to boast about something about ourselves. No matter whether we are naked, and no matter how dirty or shabby the clothes we are wearing are, please let us determine before anyone else to love you more nobly with minds that seek to become one with the people, nation and world you are seeking. If we have become sons and daughters who have bowed down before you with minds like that, we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to clearly know that in the midst of this, we will connect to your heart and in the midst of this, your love will blossom.

In the place where that can happen, that place which no one knows about, we must become your sons and daughters who will be able to determine ourselves saying, "Father, I'm going. I must go. I will fight for you." Please allow us to acknowledge that without doing that we cannot penetrate through the wall of the enemy. Furthermore, we earnestly ask that you will allow us to become chosen warriors of heaven who penetrate through the walls of the enemy and finally absolutely raise up the banner of victory together with your name.

We were not born for anyone. We were born only for you, and because we were born for you, we will live for you, and because we will live for you we will be able to die for you; therefore, we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to become your sons and daughters who have a solid and clear belief that we must realize a world-level victory. We have humbly prayed all these things in the holy name of the True Parents. Amen.

Prayer: Please Allow Us to Become Those Who Can Be Together With Goodness Forever

Father! Please allow us to clearly realize that in our minds and bodies there remains the original root of sin which we cannot deal with by our own strength alone.

Please allow us to realize what kinds of things we have been through from the past until now, and that we have been people like that, and please allow us to ardently feel the need for a stimulating, dynamic force which will let us revolutionize ourselves once again today.

We earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to clearly know that without putting aside the me of today and being able to establish a self who can make a new me for tomorrow, we will not be able to become beings who remain even in the lower levels of this good will and good historical course.

Please do not allow us to become pitiful people whose lives just flow along with the flowing waves. And please allow us to understand clearly that we have remaining with us the purpose of goodness which must swim upstream against the current.

When we look through the course of history we know well that the will of heaven is not something which goes forward separate from history; it deals with history and raises history up quickly. From that kind of course alone we know well the fact that you have been working with us in history. Today at this time we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to once again think about what kind of position we are in and to stand in a position where we can communicate with you about matters.

Please allow us to understand completely that you remain with things of goodness forever and you will absolutely not allow evil to participate. You become partners with goodness, and go out together with goodness, and since you go forth looking towards the one will which can be accomplished together with goodness, even if our bodies are eliminated please allow us to feel once again at this time before you, Father, that we must become people whose minds at least remain with goodness forever.

Then we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to have minds which can become one with your will, our eternal Father, and subjugate and take dominion over our bodies according to the directions and commands of our minds, and that our bodies will be able to communicate with our minds.

We earnestly hope that you will allow this time to become one we are attending in order to desire once again to be people who are able to do that, and to control ourselves again to be able to do that, and to determine ourselves again to be able to do that. We have humbly prayed all these things in the name of the True Parents. Amen.

Prayer: Please grant that all creation be liberated

Father! We know that our first ancestors should have achieved oneness in Your love. We know that centered on the love through which You and our ancestors were supposed to become one, all the things of creation should have become one, based on the four position foundation. But we also know that, because of the Fall of our ancestors, all creation entered the realm of lamentation, and that You are also lamenting.

When we look back on the course of the history of the providence of restoration, we see that the things of creation were always presented as offerings to restore humankind. Through these offerings, a God centered relationship was established through which people could unite with You. Through such relationships, You have connected with different individuals. However, in today's Unification Church, the individual is not enough. Because the first ancestors fell before becoming a couple, a standard that can connect us with God as couples must be established. Please allow us to know clearly that a task remains; that all things, centered on that couple, must absolutely pass through God and True Parents.

We must know that without undergoing such a process we could not have arrived where we are today. We know that, just as we were created through the things of goodness, the things that belong to You, Your grief and that of all creation, is resolved only when they leap the one hurdle. We earnestly hope and desire that You allow us to clearly realize that the origin of the world level standard in today's horizontal world is realized centered on the family.

Today please enable us to repent that we have been unable to restore all created things, and that we have failed to live with the devotion by which we could offer all things to You completely, as people who consume, use, save and manage them. We know there must come a day of dedication when we are able to offer all created things to You by connecting them with the family, the nation, and finally the world.

We know that a day of celebration must come when all humanity can offer You our families and all our possessions, through the families, tribes, peoples, nations and the entire world. We know that the day we are registered as families of heaven must be established. On that day countless people will vie with one another to joyously sing its glory, and the actual stage where people compete with one another to dedicate the day to You, Father, will emerge. Therefore please grant us the clear understanding that, after all sorrowful conditions that have caused You to lament for the past six thousand years disappear, only the historical hope that brings You joy will remain.

Father! Please grant that we may completely offer You everything we have, including our entire selves and families, so we may usher in that day. Please allow us to know we must inherit Your eternal work through our relationship with You, the Heavenly Parent, the True Parent, to inherit and share the embrace of Your love. Moreover, please allow us to know that this amazing mission has been given to us.

We know that this has to happen on the individual level and also on the levels of the family, tribe, nation and world. We earnestly hope and pray that You allow us to become children who clearly know that every created thing should be linked to Heaven's ownership through a sanctification ceremony we must hold on the world level.

Beloved Father, the blessed families are present here as well. When have we ever presented objects qualified to belong to Heaven through a ceremony like this? When have we ever had a chance to be registered before Heaven and thereby establish the original substantial condition centered on Your love? We have failed to set such a condition, so we earnestly hope and pray that You allow us to realize we are in a process of moving forward to lay down such a foundation on the national and world levels.

To accomplish such a goal, we must make a new resolve today. Furthermore, we earnestly hope and pray that You enable us to celebrate this day as a joyous time. Your children spread out across this nation are celebrating this day. By allowing them to work in unison with Your power, Your might and Your authority, Father of love, we earnestly hope that You allow the day of jubilation, the day in which all things can be liberated, to come as quickly as possible. At the same time, we beseech You to hasten the arrival of the day Your beloved children can create the second realm of liberation centering on a nation, and return this realm to You. We humbly pray all these things in the holy name of True Parents. Aju!

Prayer: Grant that we may understand Your circumstances

Father, please grant that this may be a time when we can frankly open our hearts before You and can ask and receive answers to our questions, one by one. You raised us individually and loved us truly. Please forgive those who were unaware of this. At this time, Father, You are truly loving us. Therefore, before anything else, we want to become people who can receive Your love. This relationship of love cannot be exchanged for even heaven and earth, and please allow us to cherish it with our lives.

In doing so, permit us to know, as we five our lives hereafter, that You love us eternally with the unchanging love of a Father. Before such a Father, is there anything we could give that could possibly repay You for that love? Do we have anything from our past, from the current stage of our life, or even the heart that brought us to attend this gathering? Do we have anything that can show our love for You, be it even a note that expresses that love?

If we do not have such a thing, we should bear in mind once again that we are the ones who violated Your love, we are the treacherous sons and daughters who betrayed Your love, and we are the traitors who sold Your eternal love to Satan's world. Have our hands ever returned love to You, Father? Have our feet ever done so? When we come to realize on our own that our bodies cannot do this and that our minds have failed to become Your eternal resting place, we come to feel that we are not qualified to love You, Father, and to serve You as our Father.

Father, please allow us to feel once again that, because we are in such a position, we are afraid to tell You that we love You. Our eyes have tried to gaze at You, Father, centering on our own ideal; and with our own perception, faculty of knowledge, and standard of intellect, our mouths have told our stories and made entreaties before You. We have tried to pursue our own ideals before You, Father, but when we consider the fact that You cannot stand in the position of our ideals, Father, we earnestly pray that You will allow us to repent for our ignorance.

At this time, allow us to realize and feel on our own that, though we made our way here with complete devotion and a loyal heart, thinking that You were above us, the truth is, Father, that You are under our feet. Therefore, please allow us to realize once again that we must become people who experience, deep in the marrow of our bones, a faith that brings us to lament over the shame we feel and cannot hide. We know that You have become a pitiful Father who cannot stand before all people and guide them. We are also aware that there are many people who are calling out to You thoughtlessly, not knowing that You are walking with weary steps, immersed in despair, with nothing to lean on.

We must absolutely know that, even so, Father, You forget about Your pitiful and desperate situation and go forth, overcoming everything to save even one life. Please allow us to understand that Your many difficult trials, which cannot be fathomed or felt through our emotions or in our cells, are buried within this history. Furthermore, allow us to realize once again that we are undutiful children who cannot be easily forgiven, even after thousands of years, because we failed to reveal the stories of Your hardships. Please grant that we may become Your children, who can resonate with Your internal emotions deep in our hearts and, at the same time, grasp the many buried secrets of history.

Father, when we come to know about these circumstances related to You, we should become children who feel ourselves unworthy to handle Your situation; children who are eager to offer our entire selves before Your compassionate love, Father; and children who can call You "Father" with a sadness surpassing that of losing our parents, losing Heaven, and losing everything in the world. Otherwise we cannot enter the realm of Heaven's restoration, and we sincerely and earnestly hope and pray that You will allow us to know this clearly.

Paul told the Ephesians, "Grace be with all who have an undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ." Have we ever been unchanging? Though we spent the last decade within the gates of the Unification Church, crying for the heart of our Father, it was our habit to change constantly. In a single day, we changed tens of times and hundreds of times. Because we could not help but be so faithless, we could not sympathize with You on Your path. Therefore we sincerely hope and pray, Father, that You will allow this hour to be one in which we clearly realize that we need to become children who can lament our past, who can ask You to bind us again in heart with You, and who can raise ourselves toward You, Father, whenever we stumble.

Father, before we speak of Your love, allow us to understand what Your circumstances are like at this time. Before we speak of what Your present situation is like, allow us to become children who are aware that You faced countless situations in the past that were even more wretched. When we look at ourselves, permit us to know how shameful we are before You, our Father, and we sincerely hope and pray that You will grant us the understanding that we need to become people who can comfort You.

This has been a time when the members of the Unification Church have set out on their march under our new historical motto toward this city of Seoul and toward other parts of Korea. Therefore we earnestly ask and hope, beloved Father, that You will form a new and strong historical bond of heart with them, and that You will allow them to newly determine deep in their hearts the direction they should follow and the guidelines they should live by from now on. We entrust all that remains after this hour to You, Father, and earnestly hope that You will take personal dominion over it. I offer all these words in the holy name of True Parents. Aju!

Father, please be with those who have inherited Your heart

Father,

I would like to thank You, Father, for You have alone worked and persevered throughout history to manage and lead all people until this time.

Among the many religious people who are spread all over the world, Father, please be with those who have inherited Your heart. They have sincerely devoted themselves by putting their lives at risk, allowing Your wonderful peace and tranquility to dwell within them.

Father, among numerous nations in the world, You have chosen unworthy Korea as Yours, and You chose me to kneel down in humility and adoration in front of You. We are not the type of people who eagerly follow commands or directions. But Father, we have understood and accepted Your direction and are determined to sacrifice our own lives so that the goal can be accomplished; we have pledged this already. Therefore, please allow us to give our simple and humble pledge to You.

Father, we know that Your eager and lonely heart has desperately longed to substantially see perfected sons and daughters of God. There are many devout people, who have aligned themselves with you and praised You, but how lonely and disheartened You are, Father, to see that there are no sons and daughters, who have understood Your internal heart. Where are the ones, who, for the sake of this earth, have determined to run into the enemy camp in Your place, to raise the flag of victory and glory? Please allow us, Father, to understand your suffering heart.

Father, we pray that You may regain dominion of both the Heaven and Earth and the destiny of all living things. Father, I know the tragic truth that You did not receive the proper filial piety and love from man, who was destined to be the ruler of all creation.

We are not gathered here today to respect someone's fate and destiny. Rather please allow us to bind with You. We want to cut off the origin of sin that has been dispelled through the decaying bones of evil. Allow us to regain our eternal relationship and destiny with You, Father, our only source of life. Please also grant us the strength to cut off and remove all the relationship to this evil world, and, with power and strength, to destroy the essential elements of evil, so that we have only the heart of kindness and admiration for You. I beg you, Father, that You can grant us moral standards as pure as those of a newborn child and allow us to be elevated to an eternal relationship with You and Your creation.

Today is the Sabbath. From this morning until the end of this day, please protect and guide us, Father. Do not let us have the heart to admire and love someone else, but please grant and allow us the heart to first admire and love You.

Please let your children who are spread throughout South Korea to direct their prayers towards this place today, and I beg You, Father, that You can be with our lonely and desperate children, who are pledging to You all over the world at this time.

Please allow all the things that You have longed for to come into reality and please also embrace those, Father, who despite their own unfortunate circumstances, are thinking about You, while earnestly praying that Your sadness will disappear.

I sincerely hope and pray that You will grant us the strength to follow Your voice, becoming the lambs, the sacrificial offerings, that may absorb all Your glory and honor.

From this morning until the end of the day, we will trust and follow You. We must now go again to the frontline, Father, for we have seen so many of your children who have fallen on the road to salvation. Also, I was able to see that many, Who have prided themselves as your sons and daughters, after a short period of time on the path, have become traitors and losers. Consequently, because they have fallen and been unable to reach their goals, many have resented and cursed You, Father.

Is there anyone in the world who has ever comforted Your desperate and lonely heart? Father, please embrace Your sons and daughters, who have great faith in You and can become the root of Your true sonship and daughtership, which has been Your sincere desire and wish for tens of thousands of years. I sincerely pray and hope that we can release our unfaithful hearts and disbelief in You, and can become the proud children of God, giving joy and glory to You.

I sincerely request to You, Father, that at this time You can grant the wishes and desires of Your loving children, who have accepted your Will and have gone out into the front line for the sake of Your providence. I pray in the name of our most beloved True Parents.

Prayer: Please grant that we may become children who praise the love of our Father and our connection with Him

Father! Your noble, precious, and holy providential history has traced its path through the long history of humankind. Father, today once again You have raised us up. Please let us feel how pitiful and lonely Your situation is, as You seek to take responsibility for the world.

We know very well that You are our Father of love, who cannot sever Your connection with any of us but wishes to live with us forever. We realize that we need to hear from You that You love us, more than we need to embrace You and tell You that we love You.

We have come to realize that, instead of repeating tens of thousands of times that we love You, we need to hear You say that You believe in us as Your children and we need to be given such a position. Therefore, please raise us that we may become such children. We are aware that, no matter who blocks our way and persecutes us, when we stand in the position where You acknowledge us, we are not pitiful or lonely people.

Father, working in advance through the world, You have been laying the foundation based on which You could comfort us before we shed tears of loneliness. When we think about the fact that You, concerned about our sad situation, expanded that foundation to comfort us on the world level, we pray that You will let us feel all the more that there is no way we can repay You for all You have done for us.

Father, please comfort Your children spread out around the world. We earnestly hope and pray that You will extend Your touch of boundless blessings to Your children who are offering devotions as they yearn for Your Will to be planted in every place through which You have passed.

Father, even at this moment there are people around the world who, out of concern for this Teacher, are earnestly appealing to You with tears, and are longing for this one distant corner of Korea. When we think about this fact, we come to realize clearly how fearful and awesome is the position of this headquarters.

Although outwardly we may look unworthy and shabby, our hearts, which yearn to hold on to Your heart and call You Father and serve You truly, are sincere and earnest. We know very well that our appearance, situation, and circumstances do not matter at all if we are Your sons and daughters who can sing praises of Your love, of our relationship with You, and of the fact that You raised us up.

Beloved Father! Please pour down Your blessings on Unification members who long for Korea. These children respect Korea as their homeland in their hearts and are shedding blood, sweat and tears for this land. When we think that countless people united through the Unification teachings wish that at least their bones can be buried for the sake of this land, we realize we have to unite them into one, establish the one nation that You desire, and achieve one worldwide ideology. Accordingly, until we realize that Will, we have to endure and endure and continue enduring. Following Your example of silently enduring the wearisome six thousand year course of history, we too should go forward enduring in silence.

During the thousands of years we were separated from You, we yearned for You with our minds and bodies. Now, however, all those days of yearning for You and appealing to You are history. Now that we have met again, we stand in the position of embracing Your internal situation, discussing matters with You, bracing ourselves for the future, and facing Your situation in Your stead. Therefore, if we should have a teacher, You alone should be our teacher. If someone is to take charge of Your Will, we ourselves should take responsibility for the commands You give. Beloved Father, we sincerely hope and pray that You will allow us to become such people.

We can fathom the sadness of Your situation in the long course of history. When we look at the many nations of the world, we cannot help but think that there still remain vast stretches of land You need to recover, and a long, laborious path You need to walk. Therefore, we should feel in our hearts and bodies that we have the responsibility and mission to race toward the world without resting, heeding neither the blood nor the sweat we shed, and that we must fulfill our responsibility and mission.

Father, these people have been in situations that made it impossible for them to do otherwise than become a pitiful people. But we thank You for letting us know first that the Will of Your providence, which is worthy of praise across the globe, dwells in the midst of the Unification movement.

Father, please grant that we may understand the hardships You have had to overcome. Are any of Your children offering devotions in their hearts? Please bestow on them blessings that are thousands of times greater. Moved by their longing for You and feeling Your heart, members of this Unification movement are embracing the people. Please do not allow their earnest hope and struggle to be in vain. Please enable them to overcome this age and be liberated to leap forth toward the world. Furthermore, we earnestly hope and desire that You allow them to become the Third Israel that can build the kingdom of heaven throughout the world.

Please comfort Your children gathered here and please allow us the joy of meeting and forging a new relationship with You. Father, please watch over us when we return home. We earnestly and sincerely hope and pray that You can grant us Your hallowed touch in every task You entrust us with, and in every moment of our every gathering hereafter. I earnestly pray all these things in the name of True Parents. Aju!

The Victory that God Desires

No matter how much suffering you may experience in your activities, and no matter how much you are persecuted by your environment, you should be able to always remain standing before the face of God.

Although Jesus left the earth through the cross, the standard of filial piety he impressed upon God's heart remained, and God had to respond to it. Although Jesus did not seek a reply from God, nevertheless, God's heart could not help but reach out to him. Jesus was the first true child of God after 4,000 years of biblical history.

There are about 300 people gathered here. If you all are determined to do the same thing as Jesus, the 43 provinces of Japan will be restored. Victory comes out of the internal determination made at the outset of a venture, not somewhere midway, You should understand this.

Even if you can get victory over hundreds of life and death situations, you need still more determination before you can win the eternal victory that God has sought, a place out of Satan's reach. You may wonder if your suffering in the midst of a bitter environment will help the restoration process. But I have already calculated these factors exactly, so that what the Unification Church teaches can move history and become the true history. I am teaching what no one else was able to imagine.

"True Successors"

A wise person will go all the way once he has made a commitment; Do not go only halfway or be mediocre, because you will only end up as a loser. If you want to become victorious, then you have to persevere all the way. In doing God's will, I want to go the fastest way, never being mediocre or halfhearted. For the sake of my followers I took every precaution and checked everything about the Principle two and three times. I wanted to be absolutely sure that this is the true way of God. A true researcher tests and retests to make sure of his results before he announces anything to the world. I have tested this out in every way possible. You can see then what an incredible discovery I have brought to the world..

Since we are committed, we cannot afford to go just halfway. Is this month of May a new beginning, far different from April? Let's go forward with tremendous excitement. I am waiting for the kind of champion who can defeat me. Many times I am sad, feeling that I cannot afford to die because I know that even at this stage no one is competent enough to inherit my mission. No one has given me that comfort yet. I have given my life to God, but now who will love Him as much as I do? This is my only concern. When I die, who will take care of my God here on earth? I want to see someone emerge who can do that.

Is there anyone who could truly say, "Father, let me take care of your God and my God. You can go"? The person who could live up to that statement would be the center of the mainstream of history and would never perish, but prosper.

I cannot afford to leave the world as it is, destined to more suffering. I must leave behind a world that is being resurrected. People think that after I die the Unification Church will die. Is it true? Would you prefer the movement with me or without me? Indirectly what you are saying is that after I am gone the movement will suffer. As long as I live I want to bear the burden of persecution so that after I leave the persecution will be finished. In my lifetime I want to bring this movement to success.

As your generation reaches its maturity, our movement will soar into prosperity. In my own lifetime I want to take care of all the bitter experiences, suffering and turmoil of restoration. I have already-made up my mind to take the burden with me. How about you? Will you join me in taking care of these, or are you going to wait for the easy time? Do you wish this persecution would go away, or do you welcome greater challenge and persecution? Have you made up your mind already?

Love All People

I heard that you have come from around the country, representing the congregations of your respective churches; I would like to give a short message to you today. As you have all noticed, winter has come. Whenever winter is ushered in, people experience the blues. Spring has passed; summer has passed, and we are just about to welcome winter.

The natural atmosphere changes with every season. Let us take a tree for instance. The leaves of a tree change every season. Yet, its branches and trunk do not change. In autumn, the leaves fall off, but these same leaves while they lived had enabled the branches and the trunk of the tree to grow. Though I have used a tree as an example here, this logic remains true for a country too.

Let us look at Korea. Korea can be said to have sprouted from roots and grown to form a trunk with branches stretching out from it. Likewise, the numerous people born in Korea, whether they are those presently living here or those that have already died, can be compared to leaves. Hence, even if the leaves were to fall off, the branches and trunk, which can be likened to Korea, will continue to develop.

This is also true of God's will. It is applies, too, to the providence. While attending God, who may be likened to the root, the lives of numerous believers, who are like leaves, crossed the path of trunk-like religions. Those that came across them helped the providential course, which is like the trunk and branches, to grow. The seasons are spring, summer, autumn and winter; winter, which is right around the corner....

People cannot get away, cannot exist separate from connections. For people to be born, they must have root-like parents. One also has siblings through the parents. Siblings are like branches. The parents can gain either glory or misfortune through these siblings. Hence, one must understand that all beings come into existence through such root-like connections.

One's siblings are like branches stretching out from one trunk. Even among the branches, there are central branches and sub-branches.

Being linked to an unbreakable connection, siblings must regard each other as precious. A sibling connection cannot be established through simply the two, but is a connection that is established through the parents. Hence, no one can do anything about this connection. It is not something one can control. Linked through such a connection, siblings must therefore respect it. Thus, no matter how bad the relationship between siblings may become, they cannot break away from this bond because they are all connected to one root.

This is the same with countries. Many countries have sovereigns; yet all of them certainly work with a connection to the way history flows. These sovereigns not only have an unbreakable connection with one's national history but also with the flow of the world.

In addition, if there is an absolute entity, all countries will be formed based on their connection with that entity. Hence, all countries share an unbreakable connection centered on the historical direction by which the world flows. Not even national power can block such a connection. Since all countries are following this connection, these countries have no means by which to break away from this connection.

When we look at our members today, all of you present here are separate individuals, but a certain connection has made you all convene here. You are not the ones who made this connection however. It is a providential connection. A connection made you all come here. Having established relationships through this connection, we cannot live away from where we stand today.

Even in a family, a couple does not meet by accident. A connection that has undergone many historical processes and weaved many life courses on the way brought the couple together. Looking deep down within this connection, we can find the history of Korea and the world. Going even deeper, we will also find the history of God's providence.

Respect the connections and relationships between human beings. Through such wide and large connections, human beings have established relationships among themselves. This does not simply refer to humans but also to the natural world.

When we think of these relationships, you cannot lightly think of your parents, who made it possible for you to exist as an individual. If we were to scrutinize the parental connection, we would see a representative connection that combines heaven and earth.

On earth are 3.6 billion people; we could say 1.8 billion men and 1.8 billion women. A father -- mother relationship represents these 1.8 billion men and 1.8 billion women. Parents are representative people in a position that generally integrates the relationships of all men and women. Parents also appear by establishing a relationship with you.

Since we are all born from these parents, regarding the 3.6 billion people, we could say that interconnection makes all humanity siblings. In other words, we all become the same as brothers or sisters.

Looking at it as a whole, humanity is a combined substantial entity. This also implies that because humans all came from God, humanity can be connected all the way up to God.

I am saying this because I have observed a tendency to neglect relationships among people today. Limiting a relationship only to greetings in the morning is easy, but our relationships, even with our neighbors, must not be limited to just greetings, knowing each other's faces and knowing each other's fathers. When we look deeply, from the standpoint of God's will, relationships hold great significance; yet, the reality is that we do not treat relationships with much importance. That is why I am saying this.

For one to think of a person that left a bad impression or that caused one to suffer some damage would be unpleasant. One might even consider the person an enemy and might seek revenge, but when we dig deeper into the connection linking the two people, a larger connection exists than the present antagonistic relationship that the two perceive. This larger connection is higher and of deeper value than the present antagonistic connection. Despite this larger connection binding the two, if one person hits the other out of enmity, do not even think that this could lead to a solution? Easily the more likely outcome is that the other will hit back. Such a complicated dimension exists in relationships among mankind.

That is why people that have undergone spiritual training all advocate doing good deeds and donating to the poor. This is said because beneath the surface such connections certainly bind all people and because everything that has appeared in history is connected. The connections binding us are more precious and nobler than the standard by which we feel and criticize things. Hence, if someone ends up hitting someone, the hitter is in a position by which he or she may end up receiving half of the blow back. That is why one must think of one's relationships with people as precious and treat others with devotion. The kingdom of heaven is a place where people that love each other live together.

What should a person do in order to love from the point of been woven together throughout history, what were they all striving to achieve? They have been striving to connect humanity to a position that can bring abundant happiness to all people.

What, then, is the purpose of that connection? It is for people to love one another and amidst that love for God to participate in it and form a society and form a nation. That is why we, in this age, have been born.

From this standpoint, we must be able to love humanity with a heart that can represent God. By doing so, all connections that appeared in history will combine and one can stand on the result of this combination. Looking at all of nature or the nature around us from this perspective, we find that it all has this same relationship with humankind.

Hence, a person has either a direct or an indirect relationship. You must clearly understand this. According to the Divine Principle, creation is a symbol-type; man is a form- type, while God is the substantial form. Hence, when it comes to relationships, there exists only direct and indirect relationships; when it comes to connections, we can only classify them into direct and indirect connections.

Something indirect, however, does not refer to anything bad. For the term "indirect" to be established, one must pass the direct connection. It is established where this has been acknowledged. In addition, the term "direct" is mentioned only after indirect elements have been acknowledged. Hence, we are connected with elements that make us inseparable.

Even when we look at human connections today, we can divide them into direct and indirect connections. Even when it comes to loving people, direct and indirect love are different. However, they are inseparable.

Let us take an example of a Korean citizen. It would be direct love for this citizen to love a fellow Korean while it would be indirect to love a foreigner. However, that does not mean that this indirect love can be separated from the direct love. They are not two separate loves, but are certainly connected to one another.

Whether one can assess this relationship as more than just a mere indirect relationship will decide whether one country can establish a direct relationship with another country. If we can digest indirect relationships, transforming them into direct relationships, a new time and world of hope that man has been looking forward to will begin.

Today, Unification Church members call each other members. You also call those in your family, members.' What is the basis of our calling each other members? We call each other members based on God's love, the noble connection and relationship through which God desires to love humanity and the ideal that God had originally wanted to establish at the time of the Creation.

The Value of the Term "Member"

Hence, our connection here today is one that humanity has been hoping for all throughout history. A connection of this type exists within the term "our members."

Having appeared with this key connection, from a direct standpoint, we must be able to love people more closely than anyone else does through a love connection. In the same manner, even from an indirect standpoint, we must be able to love from a position higher than anybody else in the world.

What is higher between the love through a direct relationship in the fallen world and the love through an indirect relationships with God at the center? Our standard, which is based on indirect love with God at the center, must not be lower than the direct love experienced in the world. If it is lower, we must elevate it. Once such a connection takes place, everyone will yearn for this position and respect this connection and relationship.

What must we do and learn from this? We must learn methods of loving humanity. From a secular standpoint, it may seem as though we have no connection or relationship whatsoever with heaven; yet, as people who have established connections and relationships centered on God, we must be able to substantiate the love with which God wants to love humanity.

In order to do that, your love for each other under the name "members" must be higher than the love toward one's people and the world. In other words, you must love from a position in which the basis and environment of global love has been achieved. Hence, the problem lies in how much you respect the life of each member. In other words, the problem is the degree to which you treat every single member as precious.

Even among families in the secular world, they would invest everything to help another member in difficulty. If we fail to develop a connection or relationship higher than the secular one, the fallen world will end up absorbing our groups. We would be unable to become stepping stones through which God can spread the connection with people that he has dearly hoped for until now.

Hence, responsible members of our church must have clear views. Otherwise, the effect on everyone will be great. All church and business leaders must always have a public mind or a heart of love through which they must love in the context of the connection established by God. The leader must live for the sake of his members in the same way as he lives for himself, in accordance with public laws. In addition, the leader must be able to love everyone affiliated with him more than he acknowledges himself. This standard must be higher than any connections within the satanic world. If it is not, the kingdom of heaven that we have hoped for cannot be realized.

Yet, when we look at the thirty-six and seventy-two couples, a great heavenly connection bonded them. Still, have they been able to love the members, the country and the world in the true sense? If you asked them, they would answer they that have not been able to do that. Everyone seems only to want to play around self-centeredly. If this continues, doom will befall them.

Let Us Not Become Leaves That Fall In Autumn

Even people, who stand in public positions in the satanic world, consider living a life transcending oneself as ethical and moral. What about those of us that live in accordance with God's will? If we do worse than they do, we will not be able to survive. You must bear this in mind.

You have all been called based on God's will within a historical providential context. Yet, when I look at your hearts or your hearts in relation to loving God, they seem like leaves that are about to fall in autumn. No matter how much dedication our church may exhibit, if we only try to fulfill a leaves-like mission, we will end up falling. If we become leaves instead of becoming the branches or trunk of a tree, we will fall in autumn. In order to become the branches or the trunk and in order to remain in the world, we must not stand in a position where we can easily fall as a result of some worldly wind. We must set a vertical relationship based on a love connection higher than any worldly love in order to remain in the world. Otherwise, we will not be able to remain in the world; we will become like a tree's leaves that fall in the autumn wind.

When I look at older members from this standpoint, they seem to have lost hope. Even if I wanted to welcome them with a happy heart and talk with them sincerely, many people are in such a state that I cannot do that. I have found many people like that.

Whenever I look at members in that position, I feel that either it is you or I who is in the wrong. Whoever it is the situation must be corrected. If you and I are recorded within the Book of Life and have a universal connection, we \yin certainly become one and will have to set up and be moved by one purpose; however, if we cannot do that, one will falter and the other remain.

Therefore, you must not brag about becoming members. Do not brag about your present circumstance or position. What we need to focus on is how one's connection can become an embodiment of love based on the foundation of God's will.

In order to resolve this problem, we must always have a public or subjective stance that can become one with God's will with a heart stronger than the heart with which one lived in the world. Otherwise, we won't be able to be in the position of branches and trunks but will become leaves that fall in autumn.

If a person were to falter, the results that particular person achieved after joining the church would melt within the church and become nutrients. A tree grows through the exuberant foliage.

Hence, for you to become people who inherit the eternal destiny and survive, you must follow a life of faith based on God's love. If you were to do so, where would you yield fruit? You would yield fruit in front of people, in front of humanity.

That is why you must love people. You must be stronger than any group in loving people and yearning for people. This meeting must be based on God's will and not human will; only by doing that can we certainly deposit the fruit of love globally. It would remain as fruit.

When trees grow thickly on a hillock, differentiating between a pine tree and a spindle tree is difficult. However, when autumn and winter comes, the different trees become easily recognizable. Winter arouses hopes; it symbolizes meeting a new destiny or connection. In the same way, no matter how difficult an environment may be or whether one is stabbed in the world of death, if a person loves humanity without wavering, that person can represent heaven.

One Must Love Everyone Evenly

When I say that you must love people, I do not mean that young people should only share love among themselves. When it comes to loving, you must be able to love people of all ages, including aged people and children. Young people these days do not have time for older people; yet, this must change. You must be able to love older people and young people alike.

When it comes to loving, older people are the ones we must love, respect and revere more. For young people, meeting them alone is all right; however, for the elderly, one must love them and sympathize with them even more in that they need the help of another person because of their weakened strength and difficulties moving. Yet, we do not see that trend in today's society.

Looking at those people who accepted God's will in history, many of those close to Heaven in the beginning of the providence were quite old. Among them, we have Noah, Abraham, Moses and many others. In other words, older people received God's love and came forward. After this phase, came the era of people in their prime. The turning point that began this age was Jesus' era. Jesus was a young man. After Jesus, all those who accepted God's will were people in the prime of adulthood.

In the beginning, older people moved the world. Then people in their prime did. These days, university students and younger people are raising the social issues.

In other words, that history has developed amidst God's providence indicates that those who receive love from being closest to God can rule the world. In other words, older people first governed the world and then adults in their prime ruled the world. Now, young people around the world are raising the issues. This is how history has developed. However, it has developed in the opposite way, from governance under older people to that of younger people.

God's providence has gradually developed. Our members encompass elderly people, people in their prime and young people; divisions must not occur between members in the different age groups. We must respect the destiny and value binding us together, consider each other to be within the same house and fence, feel the necessity of each other's existence and love each other. Only by doing this, can the connection of the heavenly nation sprout from here.

Those who have been in the church for a long time are the problems in our church. Older members experienced deep grace and evidence of Heaven's intervention. In the early days, every single member treated others as having infinite value.

Unfortunately, this has become habitual. If it had become habitual based on Heaven's tradition, that would have been fine; the problem, however, is that they made it conventional based on their past secular lives.

This is something Satan understands best. Among the incidents Satan maneuvers for and aims at, this is what Satan most covets. This is the type of environment. Satan intends.

Hence, you must understand that you have the responsibility to offer all types of spiritual conditions in order to abolish that environment. Otherwise, you will also end up falling like autumn leaves without realizing it. If that happens, you will not be able to recover anymore, no matter how hard someone may try to guide you. Therefore, before ushering in autumn days, one must have a set direction and must be able to resolve the problem as to how to find a summer-like connection.

Let Us Take the Lead in Loving People

Today, people are indifferent toward others. When it comes to horizontal relationships, we do not see respect any more between people based on a horizontal connection. Regardless of sex, everyone seems to consider other people irritating. If one considers people a bother, that person cannot become someone that can follow the path of the way.

God does not need only South Korea in conducting his providence of restoration. He needs all the world's three billion people. That is why God conducts his providence with deep interest in people. This has been the most important goal in God's providence until now. We may consider ourselves a group that gathered to achieve this goal; hence, you must be able to treat all people with God's heart.

You must not do this superficially. As I mentioned before, only when we obtain a heart surging from one's original mind can one yield the best connection. Bearing this in mind, no matter what difficulties, environmental obstacles or suffering you may face in the future, please sympathize with each other as though you were suffering from that yourselves.

When taking the lead in loving people more than anyone else, you will obtain a life force with which you can break through the approaching autumn-like and winter-like suffering and pain. I hope that you all experience how this life force moves and survives until spring with all its might and then becomes the parent of life in the new world.

Father's Prayer

Father, enable us to realize once again that mankind has infinite value and connections. Though inadequate in your eyes, your children are stepping forward and calling you. We must not forget that our connection with our numerous ancestors and your tears enabled each one of us to live in this age.

Though we may seem to be no one and may look miserable on the outside, please enable each individual here to realize how great he or she is as a person representing all of history and this age, taking into consideration that we have been called by you based on this connection from amidst the three billion people on earth.

We now understand that Heaven exists in order to love humanity, earth exists in order to love humanity, and that you have created humanity in order to love too. Your highest goal, therefore, is a realm of love that can encompass anyone, a free heaven and earth and a free environment where you can embrace the entire human race without any restrictions.

Your children have come here for this. We were called through this connection and we have all come here with the connection of members; hence, Father, I sincerely pray that you may allow your love in its original state to reveal itself among us today.

A position of love is not a self-centered one but is a position where one forgets oneself. We understand that the position in which one receives love is also a position where one forgets one's existence. Please enable us to inherit everything related to your providence and to move on to a direct position where we can sincerely cry and convey what we have inherited to all humanity. Please allow us to understand clearly that we are the ones that must provide the motive that will spread heaven's history from this point to the entire world.

Today, our church is achieving a new relationship and global development based on this new historic connection. All of this is not bragging about the past or about practical social organizations and structures. Please enable us to realize that we are following this path to love people in history, people of this time and future people. We must be able to resolve the resentment, within our generation, of the martyrs and ancestors in history, who could not experience love in its true sense. Please enable us to be in a position where we can love people of this age that could not be loved until now and to become the one center all people are seeking. As a conclusive connection that can join the newly beginning connection in the future to here, I sincerely pray that you may allow us to start, equipped with the fundamental basis of loving people.

Today, our church is crying out the word "members." Please enable us to understand that this sibling connection is not a connection that can be severed. Please enable us to also understand that parents are essential to becoming siblings and fellow members. Parents are the center of all of our connections, the embodiment and root of life, hence, please enable us to understand that they are the fundamental embodiments that we do not have control over....
