Twenty-one church leaders from Korea and Japan and sixteen members of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) attended True Father's Hoon Dok Hae session at his Las Vegas residence, the Cheon Hwa Gung, on August 11, 2011. Rev. Chang Shik Yang, top liaison to True Father, read "Owner of the Harvest – What We Should Do as Abel" from volume 27 of True Father's Speeches.

During the Hoon Dok Hae, True Father said, "What you have does not belong to you. When you begin to think of your possessions as your own, the world will be overturned. One's portion of responsibility! Repeat after me. Each of you has your own portion of responsibility in the providence.

The term 'true love' is a truly terrible one. With the term 'true love,' I united the spiritual and physical worlds. True love can prosper forever only when you live for others. Everything will end when you say that you will make others live for you, in the name of true love. I am now ninety-three years old, and even if I were to begin my life all over again, the only thing I would leave behind me is the term 'true love.' The gate to a bright future has been opened for today's young people. I hope that you will all endeavor to give at least something to others."

After attending this Hoon Dok Hae session, Rev. Hyung Jin Moon held a lunch meeting in a nearby restaurant with CARP leaders and college students, where he talked to them about the future leaders of the Unification Church and held a Q and A session. The meeting lasted for more than three hours.
