The Momentous Year of 1976

The whole world came around trying to beat us down in the momentous year 1976. In 1976, the entire history of God was culminating in two major events: the Yankee Stadium rally and the Washington Monument rally. Especially, the victory of the Washington Monument rally was achieved at the highest summit in God's dispensation. World attention toward our movement came to a peak that year. In the year of 1976 I became known to the world.

The events in which we gained such victories that year will never be forgotten or erased from human history. I appeared to the world as a historical torchlight in the year 1976. In my public ministry, I had been appealing and pleading to the people directly standing before them. With the victory, my public speaking, this dispensation reached its conclusion. Was Rev. Moon then defeated or victorious?

Those who wished us to fail miserably were watching very attentively for the outcome of the Washington Monument rally. By their own standard, was our accomplishment a success or a failure? Could our adversaries think we were a failure, or do they have to admit we were a complete success? From the President down to all who opposed our movement, they must have enjoyed watching the fireworks at the completion of the rally. I want you to remember that the Washington Monument rally was a decisive victory that became the turning point in human history.
