Hoon Dok Hwe
Cheon Jeong Goong, Chung Pyung, Korea
Following are notes by the reporter, which are a severely limited interpretation of Father’s words. Readers are strongly encouraged to study the Korean language and listen to Father's words without translation in order to obtain a deeper understanding. These notes should never be used as official representations of Father’s words.
First, Father asked Dr. Yang to read from the part of the Cheon Seong Gyeong that talks about ideal families, which is the chapter on true families.
Father started to speak:
The place I love second best, after America, is Korea. Why is that? It is because everything of the Parents of Heaven and Earth started there. Everything of the homeland is in Korea. Therefore, all people naturally long for the homeland. And people can fulfill the virtues of loyalty and filial piety by keeping their homeland connected to their hearts.
The difference of a non-American Korean person going to America and then getting used to living in America finds that living in Korea is different. How different is it? It is not bad that it is different. If it is different, then you can go up a way in order to be liked by all the people of the world. If you do that, then you can become closer to Heaven. Therefore, no matter where you go, you should not complain. Instead, you should digest your environment. You should be ready to go to ten or a hundred different nations and digest the environment in each of those nations. If you can, through true love, then you will find that there is no one happier or [spiritually] richer than you.
Now is the age of the Abel UN. The Abel UN can have hundreds or thousands of people as members. It just depends on how many people call themselves owners of the Abel UN. All the people of the world could become members of the Abel UN. Then the question is how to make all the people in the Abel UN, who have equal value, to be connected to each other in their lifestyles, so that they can reduce or lengthen their long or short histories. What is the motive or the force that can bring this about? Relationships that could be made eternal, such as parent-child relationships or relationships between friends, should be able to continue for thousands and millions of years and represent God's way. Then they can become related to Heaven and Cheon Il Guk.
Therefore, you should have the viewpoint of a member of the Abel UN, as well as the viewpoint of a Korean and of an American. The place that we need to go to is the place that Adam and Eve were before the Fall. This could not be done before the Cheon Seong Gyeong appeared and people could realize how precious the family is. It is not enough to know this. You have to really value that knowledge [in your life] and give it high priority. Knowing this should affect your life and affect your environment.
The Abel UN should overcome and digest the root [causes] of wars, and [members of the Abel UN] should love people from enemy nations as God loves them. People who are going to live that way have nothing to worry about.
The responsibility that Heaven gave to Father has all been completed. I have given everything in the Cheon Seong Gyeong, the Pyung Hwa Shin Gyeong [Father has started to call the Pyung Hwa Hoon Gyeong the Pyung Hwa Shin Gyeong, signifying that it is now almost God's direct word], the books of Father's speeches, the Family Pledge. What did Father come to the earth to do? What did Father do in his life? Is what Father will do in the spirit world the same as what he did on earth? That is an important question. It should be the same. These should be totally united. If they are divided, then the world can become divided into two, three, or even ten thousand worlds. Then Father may lose his connection with the Korean people. Do you understand?
We are now in the age of the Abel UN. Yesterday, what was the topic of the speech? It was about the Boon Bong Wang (the special representatives / viceroys / regional kings), who is someone that should unite two things which have been divided. The devil wanted to divide everyone so that people would wish others' death. But that kind of age will pass.
Unification Church members say that they are brothers and sisters to each other no matter how great the differences of when each person joined the church, but do members really treat each other as brothers and sisters?
