The lid of the tomb was lowered by means of a specially erected gantry. It is inscribed with the first sixteen Chinese characters of the twenty-four Father wrote as a calligraphic message at the time of the Cheon Jeong Gung Entrance Ceremony in June 2006, in two strings of eight characters each. In English this might be rendered: "The Lord of truth, holiness and virtue in Cheon II Guk; King of ten thousand victories for all people." Traditionally in Korea, characters are read top to bottom and the lines right to left.
