Mrs. McDevitt read Father's speech, titled "Let's Find the Center and Be United with It."

Father told some leaders to sing songs and make reports. The following is Rev. Sun Jo Hwang's report.

Right after the assembly yesterday and even before people left the Cheon Bok Gung, Father gave me a new direction (In the video he did not explain it). Before I explain it, I would like to reflect on Father's proclamation assembly.

Though we know the principle, we cannot even imagine what to do in the course of restoration, we do not have enthusiasm to pioneer God's New Providence, and we do not have vision for the future. Therefore, I must admit that Father always initiates, proceeds with and concludes all activities in the providence.

Father pushes and scolds us and gives us directions, and sometimes it is very difficult for us to go forward, but after everything is done, we always realize that what we have done has universal and providential value. The proclamation ceremony this time was the same in that sense.

In June this year, at the airport, when Father was leaving for the US, he told me to come to the US as soon as possible and Father said he would hold an assembly. During that period I was working focusing myself for the election in Korea and could not catch how important his question was, and instead I thought I must accomplish as much as possible while Father was away.

But every time I made a report to Father who was in the US, he asked me when I could come there. So I went to the US to see Father, and he immediately called a meeting with other leaders and decided to hold the proclamation assembly.

As I said, while none of us was thinking of anything about it, Father had a plan even before going to the US. Father finished the assembly in Korea and then the July one in the US (and Hyung Jin Nim held the third one in Israel in August). Then, before Father left the US, he said to prepare for him to write calligraphy when he came back to Korea. Father arrived at the Cheon Jeong Gung, and the next day before he came to this room for Hoon Dok Hae, he wrote the calligraphy, which is now on the wall here. As you see, it says 'The Proclamation of True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, and Substantial Word of God.'

Father deeply considers what to proclaim at a specific time and we must know he does not do anything at random. Father usually gives his calligraphy for a new building or on New Year's, so I think this calligraphy is exceptional. After the celebration of the 51st True Children's Day, Father told some leaders not to leave, and next morning he held a meeting where he told us to go to Washington DC to prepare for another proclamation assembly (in NY, Las Vegas and Korea). Therefore from June this year, Father has been focusing himself on this assembly while directing and keeping us in the right track. We did not know anything.

As you know, after Father came back to Korea on Dec. 3, he told us to have the assembly for four days from Dec. 4 to 7. Then, before dawn on Dec. 4, Father told us to prepare a military helicopter which can manage to fly even in the dark, and left the Cheon Jeong Gung at 4:00 a.m. for Kimpo. He flew from there to Mok Po, Geomoon Island, Yeosu, Sun Moon University, and Seoul, and arrived to the Cheon Bok Gung for the assembly. Father said this is not a one-time assembly, and that he should offer utmost Jeong Seong for this in order to harvest his efforts of 60 years (after his liberation from the North Korean labor camp).
