At 10:00 a.m. of June 13, 2006 the 'Cheon Jeong Gung Museum Opening Ceremony' was held in the Outside Plaza of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum.

Cheon Jeong Gung Museum is a commemorative hall of cosmic importance celebrating True Parents' life and their accomplishments. The Cheon Jeong Gung Museum was designed in the traditional "Garam" style architecture of Korean temples, where the main structure is sheltered by two wings to either side. The Museum's architecture expresses the tabloid edition of world history's past and future, western and eastern cultures, and spirit and physical worlds. Overall, the museum is built in neo-classical style, with the classical dome design mixing with a modern feel in its expression. The majestic dome has an inside diameter of 40 meters and reaches a height of about 60 meters. All the artistic creations and moldings that adorn areas throughout the museum are significant as permanent records giving artistic expression to Unification Thought and church history. The 18 major types of sculptures and paintings heighten the artistic beauty of the museum. The central point of all these is to praise for eternity the life of True Parents and the cosmic accomplishments of their movements for peace.

Prior to this ceremony, since June 6, around 120,000 members from almost 147 countries came to Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center and Cheon Jeong Gung Museum.

Members went up Mt. Cheonseong, where the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum is located, from Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center from the early morning of June 13. All the male members wore a Navy Blue suit with a red necktie whereas the female members wore either a white suit or colorful Han-bok (Korean traditional dress). Around 5,000 current and former leaders of the government body and members of the Parliament from many different countries and Peace Ambassadors filled the Outside Plaza of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Also there was a special venue prepared for this treasured day at the Chungshim Graduate School of Theology and Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center where as much as 25,000 members watched the ceremony through a screen specially prepared for this day.

The emcee for the day was Rev. Sung-jo Hwang, President of FFWPU Korea and Prof. Lynne Kim from Sun Moon University as the English translator. While Rev. Along the road to Cheon Jeong Gung Museum members stood on both sides of the road and cheered True Parents and True Children as they passed by. The Car Parade was lead by a drum and fife band. Near the entrance of the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum, confetti was prepared, and it was a truly beautiful scene as the 5 different color confetti danced in the air as True Parents passed by.

At 9:53 a.m., True Parents and True Children arrived at the entrance of the Outside Plaza of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Then True Parents, accompanied by True Children, walked their way through a path, where the Attendants of 120 blessed families stood on both sides, leading to the special stage. While True Parents made their way towards the special stage, all the participants cheered and waved their Cheon Il Guk Flags.

Cheon Il Guk is the Ideal Heavenly Kingdom of Eternal Peace

True Parents then read the Declaration of the Establishment of Cheon Il Guk 'Cheon Il Guk is the Ideal Heavenly Kingdom of Eternal Peace'. The Declaration contained many important headings, and below are 7 headings of the right way of life for citizens of Cheon Il Guk.

"First, you will establish the realm of three generations your family, perfect the Four Great Realms of Heart, and attend God on the vertical axis for eternity.

Secondly, no matter what the situation, you will live with your mind and body united as one.

Thirdly, you must continue the work of engrafting people onto the True Olive Tree, by having them participate in the grace of exchange' (cross-cultural) marriage, until the day when all humankind, numbering more than 300 billion souls, is restored to God's lineage.

Fourthly, communicate in prayer with the heavenly world with sincerity and dedication, so you may become perfected in your spirit self while you are living on the earth.

Fifthly, in order to belong to Heaven, you must change ownership by participating in the Ceremony of Returning Ownership, offering everything you own to God and then receiving it back from God.

Sixthly, as citizens of Cheon Il Guk, please have the wisdom to protect and love nature.

And lastly but not least, the Age after the Coming of Heaven that God and True Parents have opened is a time of dramatic change. As registered citizens of Cheon Il Guk, you have the mission to make this era blossom and bear fruit in blessing and glory. Therefore, please become Heaven's emissaries, fulfilling the dual missions of the 'Peace Kingdom Police Force' and 'Peace Kingdom Corps.' Serve humanity under the banner of the UPF, which is working to establish the position of the Abel-type United Nations. Worthy countrymen and women, if not you, then who, will nurture and protect the blessed families and this blessed planet Earth that God has given us?"
