A testimony to Hyung Jin Nim in Hong Kong

March 3, 2011

HyungJinMoon-110302.jpg

I like to Share the experience of Connie in Hong Kong with International President. She is sister from Philippines blessed with Peter from Hong Kong. She stayed in Toronto for some times as a missionary.

Did you watch Hyung Jin Nim Service on Jan. 23, 2011?

I am there with Hyung Jin Nim and Yeon Ah Nim, right in front of them. After the calligraphy writing inside a very small room, Hyung Jin Nim called members to take picture with them. I was asked to go inside the room and there Yeon Ah Nim pulled me to stand in front of her with Hyung Jin Nim and then some members and leaders took picture together. After the picture taking I received a big hug from Yeon Ah Nim. It was such a beautiful experience being with them..

Peter was Hyung Jin Nim's translator to Chinese during the Ambassador for Peace Welcoming Party. It was such a great honor he received to be able to translate for Hyung Jin Nim. (Of all the Chinese members I don't know why he was chosen to be the translator)

They are very natural, humble and pure. One Ambassador for Peace commented that they are so divine and pure couple. They wanted to be treated humbly... they even sat on the same floor we had to sit on, the tea served to them was just simply on the floor during the Hoon Dok hoe. Our center (headquarters is very small. the size of the hall is like the size of the kitchen at Toronto headquarters. perhaps a bit longer in size and shape so we all had to sit on the floor to accommodate everyone. It was a memorable experience to watch how they do their family visit. There was a draw lot to choose the family whom they will visit before they arrive. The family they visited is very lucky because each member of the family was written a calligraphy by Hyung Jin Nim. I think such visit will be carried on as a legacy to their tribe generation after generation. I could witness to it too. This couple is French-Chinese with three children.

Before they left at the airport, a few of us were there to say good bye. By the way, after he gave the first Hoon Dok Hoe service, they went to have their breakfast at McDonald's nearby our center. There he talked again like it was a service… they call it the Sermon in McDonald's. then when we were at the airport, he was giving again another Sermon at the airport... just before they enter the Departure area, I suddenly shouted. "Chambumonim Eog Mansei " and he turned to me, looked at me with so much power in his face and raised his hand and drawing the energy from his hand to me. I was so happy I didn't know what to do because he didn't put down his hand right away, so I went to put my palm on his palm to receive the energy.

Rev. Thillai, their visit is like God coming to visit each one of us. Every family had a picture taking with their couple. This is just a glimpse of the experience we had with them. Yeon Ah Nim spoke on the third day of their stay during Hoon Dok Hae. She said that in every country they visit, he always look first, " where is China town here? " and when he arrived in Hong Kong, he looked again for China town, and his wife Yeon Ah Nim said, " Appa, the whole Hong Kong is China town." There is a Muslim mosque near our headquarters and the leader there is an Ambassador for Peace in Hong Kong. they were warmly welcomed at the Muslim mosque.

They also went to see the biggest Buddha statue in the world. This time, we have a new leader, Chinese-Korean couple assigned by Hyung Jin Nim. They had been living in Korea for 10 years. New leadership means new fresh air, fresh spirit. Rev. Hwang remains the National Messiah and Boon Boon Wang to China.

Well, Rev. Thillai, we do the Holy Spirit Healing 3 times a week in the church. But I do it in the house every 6:30 pm in Hong Kong which means 7:30 pm in Korea. that's the time they do the chanting there (as Hyung Jin Nim invited us to do the chanting same time in Korea...it means 6:30 am in Toronto.

Rev. Thillai, I have to go now. it's almost 1:00 am.

Best regards to Canada family.

Hyung Jin Moon's Africa Tour -- Feb. 26 -- March 2, 2011

March 2, 2011

On Feb 28th 2011, Hyung Jin Nim worked so hard -- he personally drove heavy earth movers bulldozers machine in ground breaking UPF peace park land at Kibera slum Nairobi. He personally moved over 70 tons of soil using the bulldozer Earth mover machine? This land was offered free by Kenya government to be called "Peace park Land" -- this Peace park project will be sponsored by UPF and UNEP. It will cost couple of million dollars.

Thus great but the miracle is he got so hungry and needed something to eat at the slum? In this Kibera slum 3,000 families share one pit latrine. Again here he started another project to build more clean toilets for Kibera slum families, this toilet project will cost millions of Dollars.

Miracle where does he get food to eat for lunch in the slum?

He asked if there is a blessed couple who live in the slum, the iron sheet single room. -- Yes there are many- so he demanded to be taken to one blessed family in slum who have blessed 2nd gen children??

He was taken to blessed couple called Vincent Vitinga couple who were blessed in 1995 and have 3 second Gen children. He entered in this couples iron sheet single room to have his lunch there. Our sister cooked very fast using charcoal. She cooked Ugali and Sukuma wiki (maize floor cooked like a bread and spinach vegetable as a stew), then she made strong tea (tea without milk-they cannot afford milk). Hyung Jin Nim as our sister was cooking was very busy with 3 children, looking at their school books like their true DAD, this is amazing.

He finally ate the Ugali and Sukuma Wiki till he had enough -- this was his lunch on Feb 28th 2011.

The International President having his lunch in a blessed couple iron sheet single room at the heart of slum. What type of love?

BUT no one knew he was doing undercover research (spy-EYE witness) to see how second gen blessed children live in Africa continent. After seeing for the true situation of blessed couple in Africa he shed so many tears, and he promised to start a schools project for second gen children in Africa countries. The best part was Mrs. Hyo Jin was there and she is WFWP president and she, as mother figure will start also projects which will elevate poverty for blessed couples in Africa countries.

Celebrating the Messiah's Presence

Interview of Hyung Jin Moon
March 2011

HyungJinMoon-110300.jpg

Question: How did you conceive of the Holy Spirit Healing Service?

I was reflecting on the power of the name of "True Parents." I have spoken in sermons about this.

We've been shouting Chambumonim Eog Mansei for a long time, so I didn't really conceive of anything new. One day when True Parents were leaving Korea, and we were on our way to Inchon Airport, I worked out the melody.

Question: This melody came from you...

Yes. We were doing it more as a meditation. I was initially just doing it with the Hoonsa nims. We were meditating on it and practicing in the mornings after the Cheon Bok Shik. This was about ten days before we went to Yeosu. We were practicing in the mornings with the spirit leading us; we sang at different speeds, without any musical instruments, though sometimes, later, with a drum. We were led by the spirit.

Question: You've incorporated this into Sunday service.

Because it really is the encapsulation of our faith. All of our faith as Unificationists is summed up in that phrase, giving love and glory to our True Parents.

Question: Do you see Chambumonim Eog Mansei as a wish for True Parents' long life, or something more than that?

It's much beyond that. It's not that we are delusional about the temporal nature of this world, trying to fight the reality that Father is aging. It doesn't have to do with how many years we can extend Father's life. It's more our posture of faith, how we are loving and caring for the one who died for us to give us eternal life.

The point is that Father has strength today; we love him today. I know the phrase is "Long live," but this is different. It's wishing glory for the king of kings. It's not so much an expression of the desire for the physical extension of the reign of True Parents on earth. Of course, that's included. It's something much more profound. It explains our spiritual indebtedness, gratitude, piety and repentance, faith, confession and concern -- love! All of these are encapsulated in that.

Question: Bu-tae Kim says there absolutely is a difference in Father since the Yeosu workshop when we began these Holy Spirit Healing Services -- because all these people are sending loving energy toward Father each day. And Father feels it, as he has directly testified.

It seems that it is not just our own energy. It is a gift of God to His repentant children, His loving children. It is not our own power. It's a gift. That gift is manifested when the children can love their Parent as he deserves to be loved. The fact that we can do that involves our own free will, but free will is a gift from God, as is our portion of responsibility. So the fact that we can believe and that we can love are gifts. We feel as if we are doing it, but it's important to realize that our being able to do it is a gift.

Question: What were your impressions of the Cheon Bok Festival, how it went, and how True Parents felt about it?

At first, we were not planning for Father to come because he is so busy. He has the Hoon Dok Hae in the morning; sometimes he speaks to the leaders for several hours. To have him travel by car down to Seoul to do this ceremony and then zoom back to Chung Pyung for the next morning, plus all he does in between -- meetings with various leaders, and so on -- we weren't planning for Father to come. It was the day before, when I reported the final time: I said, "Here is the final schedule; we think it's a bit much to ask you to come to this, Father. But this is our final plan. This is the ceremony we will hold." (Over time, I had reported to Father about three times.) Then, Father suddenly said, "Ontina, let's go to this!" Father decided to come, even though it might be too much for him. We had assumed he would stay at the palace and maybe pray over the holy soil from the holy lands. We had brought the holy soil there, but Father wanted to come in person. That was grace.

Father came to Cheon Bok Gung three times in all during the Cheon Bok Festival -- though it was not planned. He would say, "I'm going." So we would get ready that day. We are so grateful that he came, that he was able to be present and see it, and that he trusted us.

Question: I saw that when he arrived at Cheon Bok Gung, he immediately wrote on a lantern paper! He seemed very joyful.

Yes. We had planned for it to be done by the religious leaders, plus other aspects of the ceremony. But Father decided to grace the occasion. That was huge.

Question: Some people ask about the different worship traditions that are emerging. For example, your services at Cheon Bok Gung are a certain style; in the U.S., Lovin' Life Ministries is a certain style. Can you comment on this?

Yes. Here we started with a more American Christian style service, with Two Rivers Choir. That's great for the international congregation, but it's a little tough for Koreans to get into.

The differences have to do with existing religious traditions in those countries. In Korea we have a very large monastic community. So we have many Buddhist monks, and also Catholic priests. It's a totally different landscape from the United States, with different standards for what a pastor or spiritual leader has to do. Christian pastors in the United States can basically live like normal people, doing the same things as ordinary families do. No one has a big problem with that. A Catholic priest cannot live like an ordinary person. For one thing, he's celibate. In populations where there are more monastic traditions, you have different standards of spiritual leadership. That has an influence. Even the Protestant ministry in Korea has to be conscious of and relate with the monastic community. There are very serious spiritual practices, and a life of self discipline. Although many American pastors are great people and have great families, that dimension is not as emphasized, whereas in monastic communities it is the central mode of spirituality. In that context, you have to raise yourself, to become conversant with the spiritual community. There has to be a sense of excellence that supersedes what you can currently touch.

The Holy Spirit Healing Service seems to be aligned with this process, in that it is meditative, a chant of sorts. Yes.... Usually, in monastic practices, there is not as much ergotropic religious experience, which is very ecstatic. It's always the more calming, meditative form -- trophotropic -because they have to meditate on the word, offer devotions and discipline for usually the whole day. Usually monastic practitioners are focusing on repetitious, contemplative materials -- they are not normally spirit filled.

But the thing that's interesting about the Holy Spirit Healing Service is that it's so spirit filled. I mean, it's so ecstatic. It has the dimension of the meditative side, with a calmness, with vibration going through your body. Then there is a very high state, an ecstatic period, when we stand up to send the energy. Then, it gets fiery. People in the congregation let go of themselves. There is wailing; there is slaying of the spirit.

Question: People are filled with the spirit.

One member brought a Christian lady. She had some kind of thyroid cancer. She became filled with the spirit. She was chanting Chambumonim Eog Mansei with us. She fell backward and then fell forward with the slaying of the spirit, and banged her head on the pew in front of her. One of our Hoonsa nims later went to visit her. She had a big bandage on her head. It didn't look good, and our Hoonsa nim was worried. But she said, "I could not be happier." Because her thyroid cancer was gone.

There is healing. These are gifts and fruits of the spirit, evidence of the spirit. They can only come with the right posture and the right heart. So we don't focus on requesting healing for ourselves, but we focus on giving ourselves away for the one who has done this for us. When we do that, an amazing give and take happens. God can bless that, and that's why you see these healings.

Question: It's amazing that a Christian lady would sing "Eog mansei for True Parents"!

Yes. We had another Christian lady from the Sarang Church, one of the big churches in Gangnam. She has been trying to witness to her younger sister, who has been a Unificationist for the last twenty years or so. The Christian sister was in her service at Sarang Church. And the pastor said that he had thought that Unificationism was dead, but that nowadays it looks as if there are many people coming.

This lady then felt she should reconnect with her younger sister. She contacted her, and somehow this Christian lady ended up coming to our service -- and it turned out to be a Holy Spirit Healing Service that day. Her younger sister did not know how she would react. This lady's an evangelical Christian. She attends one of the biggest mega-churches in the world! The Unificationist younger sister was worried and wondered what she would think. "She'll think I'm crazy."

They listened to the sermon together -- the sermon in which I was talking about our being sinners and that it is unavoidable that we must admit that if we look at ourselves honestly. I spoke about the difference between religion and truth. She heard this and then she participated in singing Chambumonim Eog Mansei. She said she felt holy fire come through her back. She had had a back problem and testified that it was completely cured. She'd never felt such a powerful spirit.

Now this lady, who had been trying to evangelize her younger sister, has signed up to study the Divine Principle. She signed up because she cannot explain what happened and because it is evidence of the Holy Spirit that Christ sends to the church.

When we watch Christian services on television, they are thirsting for the love of Christ, the Holy Spirit. They are starving for the spirit and truth. We feel that the Christians coming forward are very important. These are evangelical Christians. They don't know the Divine Principle yet, but just the experience of the Holy Spirit Healing Service, because they feel the spirit so powerfully, compels them to want to study the truth.

Another three Christian ladies are also coming to the church. They attend the church that the president of Korea goes to. They are fundamentalist Christians, lifelong Christians. Now, coming to this service, they are feeling the power of the Holy Spirit, which is a testimony of Christ's presence in the church, and they want to know why this is happening. They want to learn the Divine Principle, and as they do, they realize it answers fundamental questions they have been wrestling with -- from Christ's divinity, to Christ's purpose, to Christ's mission. That's very exciting.

We have Buddhists too. One is Professor Hwang. She was totally overwhelmed by the spirit. They don't know how to explain it. Buddhist guests who join us just say, I can't believe it, my body is on fire; my body is vibrating, I can feel the electricity coming through me.

This is a gift to the church because it allows people not only to have an intellectual experience of the truth, it allows them to have a spiritual experience. As you know, without spiritual experience, people don't remain with us.

I found it very exciting to hold a Holy Spirit Healing Service with all the national leaders. That was very powerful. I don't know if they fully grasped it in such a short time.

It takes time to understand fully the layers of what is going on, and I think those are constantly being revealed as we continue to cherish True Parents and send our love to them. More and more enlightenment, and realization of the truth, is coming from that experience of the spirit.

Solidarity and Partnership in Pursuit of World Peace

Kenneth Marende
February 27, 2011
Speaker of the Kenyan National Assembly
Address to the Universal Peace Federation Assembly
Nairobi, Kenya

World peace is a matter of great magnitude more so after realizing that are are all connected part of a great whole in the universe. Being in your midst today reminds me of the saying that a small and committed people can change the world. Each of you are demonstrating that you are making a difference by standing up for the ideal of peace that transcends race and religion -- universal peace. This is the key to our coexistence and development. It goes to show how small acts when multiplied across the world by millions of people can transform it.

In the recent past you have worked hard to bring the ideal that Rev. Sun Myung Moon brought to life and have taken peace-building to a new level. Examples of this are far and wide. You have brought warring nations together in dialogue, for example, Georgia and Russia. You have created a global network of UPF Ambassadors for Peace who come together and share views from different and practical perspectives. You are promoting and recognizing peace-building efforts by individuals and nations. UPF professionals around the world are using their skills to improve lives through humanitarian efforts in a bid to foster peace. You are hosting high-level peace conferences that bring together key policymakers, such as the peace conference held in Nairobi in November last year. You are advocating for an inter-religious council at the UN and helping to alleviate the effects of disasters such as the earthquake in Haiti. In collaboration with the UN you are promoting the International Day of Peace and International Day of Families.

Solidarity and partnership in pursuit of world peace is of immense significance as we are becoming more and more interdependent as a community of nations. For those of you who have been following the news you will understand that we have had both a very trying and inspirational period in our nation, particularly in the area of governance. And as we emerge and re-establish ourselves, we acknowledge the assistance of the international community. As you may recall, the last general elections in Kenya, held in the year 2007, were not a representative example of an ideal democratic election. The aftermath plunged the country into the international limelight with calls for immediate intervention to prevent the situation from sliding into disorder. The African Union through its mediation committee led by former UN Secretary-General Dr. Kofi Annan saved the day. The same resulted in a coalition government of convenience, but this calmed the situation. Many of you have stood with our country during and after that period and we are grateful for that.

The Kenya National Assembly will continue to encourage, support, and contribute towards solidarity and cooperation in the area of peace-building. Our members are well placed to reconcile communities and nations. At the Kenya National Assembly we have a few associations which UPF can partner with to foster peace in the nation. These include the National Assembly Prayer Breakfast Group that seeks unity of all communities by emphasizing core religious values in leadership. The Bunge Football Club has initiatives that seek to promote peace through sports. These are a few groups that you may consider partnering with. The Speaker is willing to work with you to bring to fruition your aspirations within the confines of the Law.

Finally I thank you for choosing Kenya for this important forum. I also thank you for the contribution to development and governance attributable to a number of UPF Ambassadors and advocates, some of whom I see in this room.

I will restate the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., which I find relevant to you. He said; "We must learn to live together as brothers and sisters or perish together as fools." Again, I emphasize and encourage you to always speak out against acts that can be a threat to peace in our world. Thank you, and God bless you and your work.

Take up the Baton of Peace

Hasmukh Dawda
February 27, 2011
Chair, UPF-Kenya
Address at the UPF Summit for Peace in Africa
Serena Hotel. Nairobi, Kenya

We are here because peace has been missing. So much suffering continues not because we are at war but because the peace that is much needed for development has gone missing.

My joy today is to see how seriously you take issues of peace. The world has to change through preaching peace and actively practicing it.

The absence of peace brings hatred and division, and Kenya knows much about it. As we celebrate the will for more ambassadors to take up the baton of peace, I urge Kenyans to reach out to each other and extend the powerful hand of forgiveness without waiting for anyone to call upon them. Forgiving and reaching out is one way of preaching peace.

Needless to say, we all know that preaching peace to hungry people is not practical. Children get their peace through the provision of basic needs; therefore, education, health services, food, and security are tantamount to peace. To tell a child to stop crying when he or she is hungry is absurd. Giving a plate of food to that child is a miracle we can call peace. So peace comes with the provision of the very basics of life, and that is what the world needs now, this very minute.

As leaders and ambassadors of good will, let's preach peace sustainable peace that comes with more action and less talk. I urge interfaith leaders, government representatives, NGO leaders, and the private sector to join the peace army that speaks through actions to unite people, especially children. Let's nurture children through investing in what molds children into peaceful future leaders.

Sustainable peace is practical peace. If governments invest in children, the outcome in a few years will be enterprising youths who will build and develop the country. That is the true meaning of peace, when everyone is involved in making lives better and coexisting in harmony.

Peace be upon all of you.

Unification Symbol Reflects God's Imprint on the Creation

Hyung Jin Moon
February 7, 2011
UPF International Leadership Conference
Universal Peace Federation

Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, I am so honored to be with such distinguished panelists today. I feel very unworthy. I am grateful to True Parents. My first vocation is that of a minister of the Unification Church, though I also have other responsibilities. I want to welcome you to Cheon Bok Gung; this is our international headquarters. It also functions as a living church. We have services here every day, and on Sundays thousands of members come and worship. So it really is a house of God. While you are here, I want to invite you to look around.

When I was studying the world's religions -- of course you can never finish being a student in the great faith traditions -- but when I had the opportunity to give more focused attention to the world's religions, I found it was very common for people to say that the center of the world's religious traditions are qualities such as love and compassion, ethics and morality. We can see that there is consistency among all the faiths in those great virtues of compassion, love, benevolence, patience, kindness, tolerance, and so forth.

But this week, we're celebrating the birth of Father and Mother Moon. They were actually born on the same day -- twenty-three years apart but still on the same day. We of the Unification tradition see them as not only a regular man and woman. We see them as the returning Christ; Christ who has returned. This is very important for us. They reveal for us a truth, a teaching, that is at the very core of every single activity they've ever initiated; whether it be service work in different countries, the promotion of family values across the world, the strengthening of politics to facilitate a return to core principles or interfaith harmony, it comes from the revelations that True Father has received in his direct encounters with God and Jesus Christ. True Parents' teachings arise from this background.

I would like to share with you today that the very core of these teachings is that there is a God and that He is discernible -- we can know Him. I would like to share a presentation with you today. I've given this presentation in the church, and I've given it in person to Father Moon -- twice. He asked me to share it with you.

When we look at the core of religion, it is Father Moon's great insight that, across the religious cultures and traditions, we have the same values and virtues; and that we aspire to compassion, morality, and so forth. Yet at the very core, what religion truly seeks is a relationship. When you look at the Latin etymology of the word "religion," it is religio and that means "to reconnect." To reconnect a relationship, a relationship first and foremost to our Creator, God -- it is to Heaven, it is to earth; it is to mankind.

It's only in relationships that the virtue of love can exist. It's only in relationships that the virtues of peace, tolerance and compassion can exist. Everything is based on relationship. This is Father Moon's great insight even as it relates to the beginning of time, to the creation of time and space -- that it is all based on God's desire for relationship.

There was a great mathematician in the thirteenth century. His name was Leonardo Fibonacci. He was the Italian mathematician who introduced Arabic numerals to the Western world. In 1202, he published a sequence that he'd discovered. Known as the Fibonacci sequence, it's a series of numbers -- one plus one equals two; two plus one equals three; three plus two equals five; five plus three equals eight -- and so on.' From this is derived the "golden mean," or the "perfect proportion." Through this sequence, one can create an incredible shape known as the Fibonacci spiral. The Fibonacci spiral can be found all over the universe. It is created from this sequence of numbers. One of the great truths that Father Moon has taught us is that God relates to us also with numbers.

When you look at nature, throughout the entire galaxy and even at the vegetation around us, the Fibonacci spiral is everywhere, from the spiral galaxies of the cosmos to the swirling of water as it goes down a drain. All these things spin and curve in what is known as the Fibonacci curve. They fit this ratio exactly. You will also see it in the way subatomic particles move in zero gravity. You will see it in fossil forms and in the oceans that nourish the earth. You will see it in snail shells and in vegetation -- in the number of flower petals and in phyllotaxes, the number patterns in which branches grow on trees, or in other vegetation.' You will see it in the way grape vines and pumpkin vines curl. You will see it in the spirals of a dandelion and in the numbers of flower petals. Three, five, eight, thirteen, twenty-one.... You will see it in the tusks of mammals, in ancient mammals such as the mammoth and in living mammals such as the rhinoceros and the elephant. You will see it in the horns of every creature that has them -- whether it he African sheep or mountain goats. The horns are shaped according to the Fibonacci spiral. You will see it in the proportions of the beak of an eagle or of a parrot. You will see it in flying creatures like the moth, in the shape of its wings and its antennae. You will see it in the tail of a sea horse and the tail of a chameleon.

The Fibonacci spiral can be seen in snowflakes and on your fingertips. No evolutionary advantage comes from having spiral fingerprints instead of square fingerprints, but we all have them. You will see it in the cochlea of the ear and in twenty-six curves within the human brain. You will see it in the DNA helix; it fits the Fibonacci spiral exactly. You can see it in a baby's umbilical cord and in chlorophyll algae.

Can you see a pattern emerging? There is a creator. The Creator, God, created the universe. He created it with His love, with His desire for relationship and with His mind. We can see this in the natural world.

This proportion is known as the proportion of beauty, or the divine proportion, or the golden mean ratio. If a person's body has these proportions, which is 1 to 1.618, every person across the globe who sees that person will say that the person appears to be beautiful because of their pleasing proportions. We know that God is not only a god of intellect or mind, but that he's also a God that seeks beauty; because this proportion is beautiful. It teaches us that there is beauty.

We know that when the universe began, it started from a single point, the first dimension. It moves into the second dimension by extending into the four directions--north, south, east and west, as it were. Then we approach the second dimension of reality. This second dimension of reality is the beginning of time, because we can now plot time, though there is no space yet, because there is no way to gauge relative distance without boundaries; so God in his architecture of the universe must create boundaries, from which He then can gauge relative distance. When you close off these lines/ you have boundaries, and then space emerges. You have a perfect square, which when it rotates, creates a perfect circle. Now you may have seen a symbol, with circle, and within it a square, and with lines that go to a central point. It's our symbol, the Unification movement's symbol. This symbol shows the beginning of the architecture of the universe, the beginning of time and space, and of the Creation.

I'm sure that all of you who have been with us over the years have seen it, but when you looked at the symbol you may not have been aware that it has profound significance, that it is connected to what Father has revealed.

In the Bible we read that God created Adam, and from Adam He created Eve. This also is mathematical. Father is an incredible scientist and mathematician; of course, a lover of God, but of God's entirety -- His beauty, His intellect, His will, His emotion, His heart.

If you would like to create a feminine form, which usually is described as curved, one first must create masculine lines. You must create Adam before Eve. This is also geometrically true. In order to create a circle from a point, you need a radius. Straight and rigid lines have been described over the centuries as masculine. The curve and the circle have been described as feminine. Within this are the patterns of male and female; they move together in what Father calls give#and-receive action. They set up what has become known as the four-position foundation, upon which families and tribes, and societies and nations and the world and cosmos emerge.

For us, God comes from the center and reveals Himself into the world. The task of humanity is to get back to that center, to the central relationship. This is what the Unification symbol signifies -- our desire to return to the center of our entirety, which is God. When we take this to the three-dimensional realm, Father often talks about right-left, left-right, back and forth. When I first heard these things, I thought they came from the Confucian tradition. I did not realize he was speaking to us mathematically. When you extend a line up and down from a perfect square -- Father has always been talking about the relationships God has given us -- you create an octahedron. When that rotates in all directions, it creates a perfect sphere.

If God wants to create any orb or sphere -- anything from your eye, to a planet, to the sun -- God first must have preliminary shapes to create the sphere. God must first have more foundational forms to create the sphere. For the golden mean ratio, the one we saw in the Fibonacci sequence, there is an equation. I'm not going to go into it, because it's getting too mathematical, but in order to create the equation, you need a perfect square. But in order to create a perfect square, you first need more foundational forms. Before it can create ovals and other forms we will see, the Fibonacci spiral requires the foundational form of the perfect circle and the perfect square with a common center.

In the great architecture of all the religions and also of the ancient cultures, we find the vesica piscis, a shape created when two circles overlap and their radii are the same. That small American football shape in the middle (the overlap) is called the vesica piscis. This is how Christ was depicted in early Christian iconography. Jesus was the vesica piscis. One circle was God; one circle was man, and Christ comes from the vesica piscis. The vesica piscis is the womb of creation. From the vesica piscis, all shapes such as ovals and circles can be made, though you need the circle to do it. Every type of perfect triangle comes from the vesica piscis. Trigonometry, one whole division of mathematics, emerges from vesica piscis. Six circles with the same radius around a center creates a star in the center; you can see that everywhere, from the Mediterranean to Egypt, to the ancient world.

In order to create these shapes, and in order for God to create a Fibonacci spiral, he first needs the foundational forms, which are the circle and the square with a common center. As you continue to replicate the shape with the star in the center, every type of architectural shape emerges from tetrahedrons to icosahedrons to dodecahedrons to octahedrons to hexahedrons to megatrons cubed to yin-yang. Every single shape in the universe comes from that pattern you see.

But from this universe of shapes, the central shapes, the foundational forms are the forms we find in the Principle -- the four-position foundation and give-and-receive action, the circle, the square with a common center, which represents God, whose essence is true love. The whole universe emerges from this pattern.

All relationships, even the relationship between your DNA and your father's DNA, emerge from these shapes. When you were conceived, your father's and mother's seed became one. Everyone in this room, at one point, was one cell. By the process of mitosis, cell division, we began to grow. We go from one cell to two cells, two cells to four cells. [Referring to a slide]: This is an actual picture from an electron microscope of you when you were four-cells big. [Laughter] What's very important about those four cells is that they are not just four cells floating in fluid; those cells are in a pattern -- a specific pattern. Three cells are on the bottom and one on top. When you connect the centers of those cells, you get a perfect tetrahedron. When you were four-cells big, geometrically, you were a perfect tetrahedron. When you became eight cells, they multiply with three on the bottom and one on the top. When you connect all eight centers there appears a star tetrahedron, or we could see it as a Star of David. But there is something interesting and little-known about this star tetrahedron. When you rotate this star tetrahedron, at one point, it becomes a perfect square with crosspieces joining in the center. Just like the Unification Church symbol. When you were eight-cells big, you were the unification symbol within a cell, which is the circle! [Applause]

What's amazing about this is that it is all revealed in Father's teachings. He also teaches us that God created man and woman in His own image and that the universe as well was created in the image of man. That's fascinating.

I want you to look at the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci. You can see in the famous picture, that da Vinci has already drawn a circle and square around that man. What this represents is averages. When the man stretches his arms out horizontally, the length of his arms and the height of his body is the same. Of course, human beings vary; we are not all perfectly proportioned like that. But on average, if you take a hundred people, you will get that proportion to within 1 /1,000th of an inch.

The center of the square in the Vitruvian Man, interestingly, is the reproductive organ. Father Moon's great insight is that all sin, all destructive sin comes from destroying the value of this sacred part. Two men are in this drawing of the Vitruvian Man. The second man has his arms diagonally up and his legs diagonally out. Da Vinci drew a perfect circle around that man. That center is the navel; it's not the reproductive organ. It's interesting that when you bring those two centers together [moving the circle whose center is the navel over the one whose center is the reproductive organ], it shows that when you are an adult you are still in the same circle–square proportion as you were when you had eight cells. Again, it fits the Unification Church symbol.

Father Moon has always taught us that the heart is the center. Of course, through our children, we have created new lives, new loves and new descendants.

It's fascinating that if you draw a circle within that square that the Vitruvian Man has created and then draw a circle of where the diameter is from his heart to his descendants (his reproductive organ represents his descendants), the ratio of the size of the two circles is 1:3.65.11 That's the exact ratio as that of the diameter of the Moon to that of the Earth. What does that mean, that these ratios are the same? It's an incredible testament to the microcosm and the macrocosm that True Father has taught us regarding our relationship with the created universe. Also fascinating is that the distance from the Earth to the Moon to the diameter of the sun is in the same ratio.

There is a God, my friends. [Applause] The truth that True Father has revealed to us is within the holy scripture we call the Divine Principle. All these things are explained within the Principle, which stems from the teaching that God is our creator, that He desires relationship, that He desires to be with humankind and the created world to be in a give-and-receive relationship. It is based on that understanding that I believe true relationships can emerge. True relationships that are centered on God -- on God's essence, which is to sacrifice Himself for the one that He loves. False relationships are the opposite -- sacrificing the other for myself. It is the Unificationist perspective that true peace, true love, and true compassion can only exist within a true relationship.

That is why, throughout his entire ministry, Father Moon has stressed the value of human beings' relationship with God, each husband's with his wife, parents' with their children and our families' with the world. From all this we can decipher that God wants to be in relationship with us, that He wants all of us to find relationships with each other. He wants to lead us with truth, with beauty, and with His essence, which is true love.

For me, it is a great privilege to stand among you, to be asked by Father and Mother Moon to address you this day. But I'd like to encourage you to get to know their teachings, to study the Divine Principle, because revealed through them is the pathway to true peace. Through the Principle we can find it; we can find the true path to our true destinies, to true relationships, to true love and true families.

So, brothers and sisters, I would encourage you all to study the teachings of Father Moon, get to know what he teaches, see how he has lived out that teaching in the face of persecution and betrayal and hurt and suffering.

Then, I say, you will see the face of God. Thank you very much.

When we look at religion, it is Father Moon's great insight that at the very core, what religion truly seeks is relationship. The Latin etymology of the word is to re-connect back to a relationship first with God, and then heaven, earth, and mankind. Only through relationship can the virtues of love, peace, tolerance, harmony, compassion can exist. Everything is based on relationships. Even the creation of time and space is centered on God's desire for relationships.

The 13th century Italian mathematician Fibonacci introduced Arabic numerals into the Western world. This is created by a sequence of numbers: 1 + 1 = 2,… It is known as the Golden Mean and the perfect proportion. Through this sequence one can create an incredible shape known as the Fibonacci spiral. It can be found all over the universe. One of the great truths that Father Moon has taught us is that God relates to us with numbers. When you look at the spiral galaxies and the way water spirals down a drain, what you see is the Fibonacci spiral. It also appears in the way sub-atomic particles move in zero gravity. You see it in snails and their shells, how petals grow on flowers and branches form on trees. You see it in the way tendrils of pumpkin vines grow. You see it in the tusks of mammals and horns of animals. You see it in the proportion of the beak of an eagle and parrot. You see it under the water and in flying animals -- on the tails of sea horses and chameleons. You see it in snowflakes. You will see the spiral on your fingertips, the cochlea of the ear, 26 curves of brain, the DNA helix, and the umbilical cord of a baby.

Can you see a pattern emerging?

The creator created this universe with the desire for relationship and with a mind. Everyone around the globe looking at something with the proportion of 1:1618 will see it as a proportion of beauty.

The universe starts from a singularity. It moves into the second dimension by extending north, south, east and west -- the second dimension of reality. That is the beginning of time, but there is no space yet because there is no way to gauge relative distance without boundaries. So God in his architecture of the universe created boundaries so you can gauge relative distance. When you close off the lines extending outwards, you create boundaries, which form space. When the vertical and horizontal axes are closed off it forms a square, and when the square moves, it forms a circle.

In the Bible we read that God created Adam and from Adam he created Eve. This also is mathematical in the sense that Adam is represented by a square, and Eve by a circle. If you want to create a feminine form, which is curved, you must start with a line. To form a circle from a point, you need a radius. Over the centuries, straight and rigid lines have been described as masculine and curves as female.

Male and female move together in what Father calls give and receive action. They set up a four-position foundation, from which families, communities, societies, nations emerge.

For us, God comes from the center and reveals himself to the world. For us as humanity, our task is to return to the center of our entirety, which is God.

Father talks about left-right, and up-down relationships. I thought he was speaking from the Confucian tradition, but he was speaking mathematically. When we take this to the three-dimensional plane, it forms an octohedron. If you rotate this in any direction, you create a sphere.

So God must first have had foundational forms to create a sphere. There is an equation for the Fibonacci sequence. To create the equation you need a perfect square. It's foundational form is a perfect square and perfect circle with a common center. In the great architecture of all great religions you see overlapping circles with the perimeter of one circle touching the center of the other. This is the vesica pisces. One circle can represent God and the other man. Christ comes from the vesica pisces. This is the womb of creation, literally. From the vesica pisces comes all shapes: ovals, triangles, 60 – 60 - 60 degree triangles and 30 – 60 - 90 triangles emerge from this womb of creation. If you create six circles around a center with overlapping radiuses, you have a six-point star, which you see all around the ancient world. To create this shape you need the foundational circle and square. Every shape in the created world comes from this pattern.

We find these forms in the Principle, the four-position foundation. We find God, and his essence is true love. The whole universe emerges from this, and all relationships come from this.

Your DNA comes from this. When you were conceived by the union of your father's and mother's seed, you were one cell. By a process of mitosis, which is cell division, we began to grow: 1 cell, 2 cells, and then 4 cells. Those four cells are not just floating in fluid. They are in a pattern: 3 at the bottom and 1 on top. When you connect the centers of those 4 cells, you get a perfect tetrahedron. When you were 8 cells and connect the centers, you get a star tetrahedron, or the Star of David. When you rotate that, you get a perfect square within a sphere.

Everything is relationships. This is all revealed in Father's teaching. He teaches us that God created man in his image and the universe in the image of man. That is fascinating teaching. Leonardo da Vinci's drawing of the circle and square around that man. These are average proportions. The center of the square is the reproductive organs. Father Moon's great insight is that all destructive sin comes from destroying the value of this sacred part. There is another man in this drawing, with his hands diagonally up and his legs diagonally out. That center is the navel, not the reproductive organs. When you bring the two centers together you have the same proportions as when you had 8 cells. You are still in the same circle-square proportion as you were when you had 8 cells.

Father Moon has always taught us that the heart is the center. He has taught us that through our children and our lineage we create new life and new lineage. When you create a circle from the heart to reproductive organs, the ratio is 1:365. That is the exact ratio of the diameter of earth to the moon. The distance from the earth to the moon is the same ratio to the diameter of the sun: 1.362. What does it mean that we are in the same ratio with the created universe?

God is our creator and he desires to be in a relationship of give and take with the created world. From that understanding a true relationship can emerge. A true relationship is to sacrifice ourselves for the other; a false relationship is to sacrifice others for ourselves. True peace and compassion can only come about through true relationships: between people and God, husband and wife, parents and children, families and the world. From all this we can decipher that God wants to be in relationship with us and lead us with truth, beauty, and goodness, which is true love.

It is a great privilege to stand among you, having been asked by Father and Mother Moon to address you this day. I'd like to encourage you to get to know their teachings, because revealed through them is the pathway to true peace. It is the pathway to true relationships, true love, and true family.

Chung Pyung, Korea

You know, we are very excited, very grateful to see all of you here in Korea

Isn't it always nice to be back to the Fatherland! Yes? (Yes)

Okay, it is always an occasion to praise God.

For the last two days we had an amazing time with True Parents. And just incredible, so much blessing is showering upon us. I really feel this is a totally new year.

For us in the Korean church, we are very excited because a month ago Father, while he was in America, asked us to do a 21-day-workshop in Yeosu, especially for the safety of the country. And that was a very tense time, because that was the time North Korea had already bombed Yong Pyung Do, so it was already an act of war. And it was very very close to coming to war on this peninsula, very very close. So we went down to Yeosu and we had a 21-day-workshop there.

Father called me up during the middle, I had to go to America and come back, but it was really amazing. One of the things we began there is the "Holy Spirit Healing Service", maybe you have heard about that. But for us, we really feel in the Korean Church now that the Holy Spirit is back in the Unification Church, that the Holy Spirit is back and is alive. It's conducting all sorts of miraculous healings, amazing! Amazing! The Spirit is back!

We haven't seen the Holy Spirit in our church for like 30 years. Maybe in the early church, but not like this. When we do unison prayer, people are just exploding, I mean literally exploding with their hearts and their tears, and it's unbelievable. And it really is the Holy Spirit that is descending, that's coming back to the church. And this is very important, because remember, for Christianity the Holy Spirit is the proof, its the evidence of God's presence. Let's give it an up one time for the Holy Spirit (applause). We love the Holy Spirit.

It's amazing, because all we do -- you may have heard about it -- is singing a little song, basically it's the same song over and over, and it's "Chambumonim Eog Mansei" for like an hour. It's very hard to explain; actually you have to experience it.

So I understand many of you will be leaving in the next couple of days, but if not and if you are in Seoul area, please come by Cheon Bok Gung, I'll be leading the night-time service tomorrow at 7:30, and we'll be doing the Holy Spirit Healing Service at night too. We do it every day. We were having a hard time getting 300 people to come during the Wednesday service. During the week we have Wednesday service. Of course at the weekend we have many people coming, you know, but weekdays everybody is busy with their work and everything. So for the Wednesday service it was hard to get even 200 people but because of the Holy Spirit being back, every day, every night, we have on average 350 people out every night, amidst their busy schedule and work. That kind of phenomena we haven't seen since the early days. It's absolutely incredible.

And you know the reason why I believe the Holy Spirit has returned is very important, very important. And this is the reason: Because we realize we are sinners, that's the reason. That's so important. Our movement, as you may know, has many many many many many many divisions inside it, many levels. You're this family, you're that family, you're Korean, you're Japanese, you're German; Americans have to sit over there, Germans, Japanese sit over there; actually we are Unificationists, but we have a lot of this inside.

And remember the difference between religion and truth, the difference between conventional religion and truth. What truly religion must do is "religio", reconnect back to God, it seeks a relationship. Okay, the difference between religion and truth is that in conventional religion, if you act very good and you obey the laws of God, the commands of God, and you do lot's of service work, and you just be a good person, (then) you can go before God as a righteous person, you can stand before God as a righteous person, okay? That's very different from truth, which is you cannot do that. No matter how good you live, no matter how kind a person you are, no matter how good you may think you are, we all have sin. Even though we don't have original sin, even though as blessed children we are not born with that, we still have tons of sin.

You see, I give the example all the time: I followed all of True Parents' laws; I didn't have girl friends, I didn't have drinking or smoking problems, no drug problems, I got married early, I got five kids -- everything Father said we must do I do, okay, in terms of the law. And I remember when I was in high school age, I worked hard at it. You know in America there are drugs all over the place; kids are selling it all the time in high school, drinking and all that culture is there. People who grew up in America, you know. And the dating culture is very strong in America. If you are sixteen and you're not dating you are weird. So I had to fight against that, you know, so I worked hard at that, I was proud of myself to fight against those kinds of temptations. But I remember I did believe that because I obeyed the laws that I could go before God. And I obeyed the laws plus I am a blessed child, plus I am a True Child, so members should respect me. You see what I mean? And this is arrogance; this is the greatest sin, hubris.

Remember the Pharisees who were among the Jewish sects the most obedient to the laws of Moses. Remember that it is those religious people who crucified, that killed, that murdered Jesus. So the conventional religion will tell you that if you obey these laws then you can go before the throne of God, you will be worthy -- but that is not true. The truth is that we are all sinners, that is the truth, it's the Gospel truth. Is there anybody in this room that has not lied in their lives? Raise your hand, come on. Somebody is raising a camera, but if you raise your hand you're a liar, because I know all of you lied, so did I.

Is there anybody in this room that did not steal something? I know that I stole stuff when I was a kid. I stole candies from the candy store; you know that kind of thing. What do you call somebody who lies? A liar. What do you call somebody who steals? A thief. Remember Jesus said that if you even had any lustful thought about another person other than your spouse, then you have committed adultery, you're an adulterer. Anybody in this room that has not had strange thoughts about a person other than your spouse, raise your hand. Then according to Jesus we are adulterous. And in our lives we are angry at God; we resent God, even curse God at times, hate God…. What do you call somebody who does that? We call somebody who does that a blasphemer. So even though we don't have original sin we are liars and thief, blasphemers and adulterous. You see what I mean?

No matter how perfect we think we are, we are not, we have sin, we make it every day. And this is so important for us to admit, this is critical. Because if you cannot admit that you have sin, you can never be open to ask for forgiveness. And if you cannot ask for forgiveness you cannot receive forgiveness. And if you cannot receive forgiveness, you cannot receive the grace of God and you will not know the love of God. You see, this is the truth and this is different from conventional religion. We cannot go before the throne of God, we cannot.

It is only because of the path that Jesus had to walk that we can be individually justified through faith in him -- the Principle calls this 'spiritual salvation' -- but in usual Christian language it is called 'justification before God'. But it is only because of the Son of God, the completed Christ, the returning Christ, the returning Messiah, the Lord, that has to walk the path of indemnity, the path of thorns, imprisonment, torture, death, hell, as with his family, and his bride, that we can be justified unto God, not as individuals but as families.

And what we have to remember: It is not because we have great families or we are great people that we are justified before God. We can never pay off the indemnity of all of history, none of us, nobody. Only the One that comes from the Logos of God, the dual characteristics, only a being that is so precious to God, can walk the path of indemnity for all humankind. And that is the path that True Parents walked for us, you see? It is because of that grace that love, to go the path of death, to die, to die, to die and to die again to save sinners like us and our children and our grandchildren. That's the only reason we can be justified before God, that's the only reason, there is no other reason. It's undeserved, but its love and that is grace. You see how amazing that is?

Conventional religion wants you to believe that you can do it alone by your own works and your own deeds. But the problem with that is that conventional religion can only lead to two paths.

Number 1: It can lead to the belief that you can stand before God justified because of your own accomplishments and own efforts, and thus it leads to arrogance and spiritual self-righteousness.

Number 2: If it doesn't lead there, it will lead to seeing yourself honestly. And if you see yourself honestly, you know we are not following all the laws of God. We have bad thoughts all the time. We lie, we are jealous, all sorts of things, am I correct or incorrect? We do this all the time. So if we look at ourselves honestly we realize, that we are not following all the laws and that we are hypocrites, and that leads to despair and guilt.

You see conventional religion only leads to either self-righteousness or to despair and guilt.

But that is so different with the truth. Truth does not lead to guilt and despair and self-righteousness. Because the truth of the matter is that we have sinned. Once we admit that we must ask for forgiveness. We must ask to be forgiven. And remember, if God is simply a righteous God, He doesn't have to forgive us, He doesn't. If He is only righteous, He does not have to forgive you, right, all He has to do is punish you, and you see what I mean? If you commit a felony in a state, they don't need to forgive you, all you have to do is pay the punishment and you'll be done. So God is not only a righteous God because He is a God of love, He forgives us.

And as He forgives us, even though we are unworthy, and as He sends his own flesh to die and die and suffer and suffer for us in the person of our True Parents, in the course they had to walk in the seven deaths and resurrections, then we can realize humility and we can also have gratitude for being forgiven.

And as we live our lives to love the one who loved us, then we feel joy, we feel unending joy. You see, conventional religion only leads to self-righteousness and despair or guilt.

But truth, it starts from admitting that you are a sinner, but it ends up in gratitude and in joy, in living for something other than me, you see?

Conventional religion will tell you that there are good and bad people in this world okay? People who follow the laws are good, people who don't follow the laws are bad, and they are evil, okay? Conventional religion will teach you that, but the truth is not that.

The truth is that we are all children of God. The difference is repentant children and unrepentant children. Grateful children, ungrateful children. Children who continue to sin and scar God and children who don't, who try not to sin and not scar their Father.

You see the difference, it is a huge difference. You see, with truth God dwells, He's alive, He lives amongst us and His spirit animates us because we have died.

As Christ said you must die. Those who seek to live will die and those who seek to die will live. That is not a phrase explaining the ways of this world. If you look at that teaching with just your normal eyes, you will see a mad man's words, right? Those who seek to die will live -- what does that mean? We all commit suicide? No, that's not what he means. Jesus is the Lord of love and he is talking about that in the world of love you must die in order to live.

Anybody who is married well, who is happily married, knows this. Am I right? Oh come on, praise God, people, are you people sleeping? Oh, okay good. Anybody who is happily married knows this. You can't live for yourself and be happily married, am I wrong? You can't.

In the world of love you can't live for yourself and be happy; you have to die.

You have to lose your sense of independence; you have to live for someone other than yourself. Then you really find immense intimacy and joy and happiness. You see, that's the world of love. In the world of heart it's the same thing. And that's what Jesus was talking about: We must die in order to live.

I am not telling that you are all sinners so that you hate yourself and detest yourself, trying now to commit suicide, don't do that, okay! Otherwise we have to come after you in the Spirit World. Okay? No, no, no. See, if you do that, you are making the same mistake.

Because, do you know that self-narcissism and self-love and self-hate is the same thing? The same thing, the same thing. Self-love and hating yourself all day is the same thing. It's the same thing. You know why, very simple. What is the center of self-love? The self. What is the center of self-hate? The self! That's the problem.

Repentance is not hating yourself. Repentance is taking the spotlight off of your self. It's not hating yourself intensely more, putting a bigger spotlight on you. It's taking the spotlight off of you. And it's putting it onto the only one who is worthy of that spotlight, which is God and True Parents. Aju! Come on people, praise God! (Applause) You see, this is why the Spirit is back.

I remember when I was young; our movement had a very strong Pharisaic culture. You make ONE mistake, and you are a sinner and we chase you out, don't you dare thinking about coming back! How perfect WE are here!

But even though we did that we were so full of sin -- if we were honest -- so full of it. And this is why the Spirit left us, because we forgot we were sinners. And we started believing that we were righteous before God because we were good people, because we follow True Parents' laws. It's only when we can realize once again that we are sinners, that we receive this grace of Seunghwa and resurrection into our life, and rebirth. Because of the tribulations and indemnity paid by True Parents can we find our true self. We can live for something other than our own self worship, and we can live for something which is eternal and everlasting, which is loving and worshipping God and His son.

You see, when we started once again to actually remember the truth, not the conventional religion, but the truth, the Korean church started to find gratitude again. And it's amazing -- we just sit there, well, we stand too, and we sing "Chambumonim Eog Mansei", for one hour, it's amazing, that's all we do.

And just like Paul said in Galatians, "there is neither Jew nor gentile, neither high nor low, neither master nor slave, neither men nor women, all are one in the love of Christ," and we feel that!

International members told me this in Korea …. I ask the people to hug each other during the service sometimes, but whenever they have to hug somebody…, Korean people, if they see some international person there, they look at them and try to find a Korean person to hug. (Laughter) "What are you? Are you Japanese? Okay." Then they try to find a Korean person to hug. Okay, at least that's not what they were saying, but they felt this.

They didn't feel like we are really one. They didn't feel.., they felt they are second class of citizen, because they are international, from a different country.

But after we do the Holy Spirit Healing Service, we remember the truth, we ask for repentance, we ask for forgiveness, we receive the grace and love of God, we seek to obey His commands -- not out of fear of punishment but because we love Him, because we love Him.

And after the Spirit Healing Service, when an hour has passed, and I make everybody hugging, the western members said it was amazing, "I always was rejected by Korean people until after the Holy Spirit came, and now they want to hug me, they hug me and sometimes even kiss me, on the cheeks, okay, on the cheeks." All one in the love of Christ! Why? Because we are all together loving the one whom God has sent, intensely loving.

We are sending all our energy from our body and mind and heart to True Parents. "Even if my legs fall off, Father, even if they fall off right now, let True Father's legs have strength…", like that we are sending that love energy. "Even if I die right here, let Father have strength today…" Wouldn't you do that for Jesus if Jesus was physically here? Wouldn't you do that for him? Come on, people who are from Christian backgrounds, and tell me. Wouldn't you do that? Don't look at me like I am strange or something. If Jesus was here, wouldn't you do that for him? Of course, we would.

Do you not remember that True Parents are Jesus that has returned, praise God! My God, my God! When we love Him like that, when we are not focusing on our "Oh God, bless me! And my back is killing me and my legs in pain, I got a rotated disc, God heal me today! "

No, God's not going to hear, he's going to curse your hips. That's not how we enter into the spirit. We enter into it by saying, "God, let Father's legs be strong! Let his 92 year old body be strong! Let the body that took the beatings and the torture that I should have received be strong!"

You see, when we send that energy, and when we send it like that, it's amazing, and people are healed. You know why? Because God can see that love and He can bless that give and receive action. He can see children who have repented, who are asking for forgiveness, who have gratitude and who have joy in trying to see their parents happy. And aren't they our parents? Are they not our parents? (Yes). We are only one in that love, that's it. We are only one in that love. We are not one in any other way, you see?

And so I want to invite you all to come, I cannot do it with you now, because I gotta go. But I want to invite you all to come. When are you all leaving, you are leaving tonight? Okay, so we maybe have time. Okay, we organize something, so you know, of course it's best because we have one week of festivities at Cheon Bok Gung in Seoul. It's best if we could do it there. So maybe we can do it at Cheong Pyung, we'll talk to the organizers and try to see how that can go.

I would love to be with you! One in the spirit, one in the love of Christ, love of God! With one heart and one mind. One vibration, all that you can see and experience is vibration, everything is vibration. You know vibration, little atoms that have electrons that are rotating around the nucleus create small motions, it's vibration. And even all things that you can't see at the quantum levels are all energy, are all vibrations.

Did you know that sound and heat and light are the same thing? Did you know that? Alexander Graham Bell gave this kind of example: if you put an iron rod and you clamp it down and you vibrate it, okay you vibrate that iron rod, then as it vibrates it will start making sound at some point, very low sound, it will start humming. And as you increase the vibrations per unit of time, then of course the sound will get higher, and then very loud, shrill, then all of a sudden it will disappear, no more sound, you cannot hear anymore, you can't hear it.

After a point that it reaches the limit of your hearing capacity, after it reaches that point, you can't hear it anymore. What will happen is that the rod will become hot. It will become hotter and hotter as you increase the vibration. And as you increase the vibration even more, the rod will start changing color, it will start getting iron hot, and will become red and start glowing and it will become full of light. Isn't that interesting?

Did you know that sound, heat, light are the same thing? All just different speeds of vibration. Isn't that fascinating? You know your whole body is vibration, the whole body. All that we can experience, even the light spectrum is vibration, we can only experience a tiny part of the whole spectrum, we can't experience gamma, or x-rays or UV-light, etc. but they exist. So if you do not believe just because you can't see it, it doesn't exist, that's bad science. You have to learn elementary chemistry, biology again. We only can experience such a small fraction of reality. But you have also probably heard of the "Heisenberg uncertainty principle" and also maybe the "double slit experiment".

The Heisenberg uncertainty principle, if you remember your physics…, you remember your physics? Have you people studied physics, I think you have, some of you..

But (according to) the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, as soon as you try to see or rate the momentum and location of say an electron, in order to observe it, you need to shine light on it. You have to be able to see it in order to observe it. As soon as you shine light on it the electron changes its location and it's momentum. So the fact of observing already has shifted the reality of the atom. So there is always uncertainty when you are trying to measure subatomic realities. That's the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. So we know that as soon as we can observe something, already it is changing.

What's amazing about that is because is that…, I am sure you know about the water molecules -- Emoto Masao, a Japanese, is very famous for this -- i.e. you put "thank you" on there or "I love you" and the water molecules are beautiful, and then you say "I hate you, I kill you, I kill you etc.", and then the water molecules all are dead, they look terrible. And just by placing the sticker on the water bottle, it changes their pattern. Sound is vibration, and you know that 76 -- 80 % percent of your body is water, then you know that things are perfected just by mere observation, then you can realize how much power even sound has to your body and your mind, you see?

And what is the purpose of creation? The purpose of creation in the principle…, I have heard many lecturers say: "The purpose of creation is the peaceful ideal world", "The purpose of creation is the true family." You may have heard lecturers say that, right? You may have given lectures, where you said that. But we have to remember: the purpose of creation is not the ideal peaceful world, it is not the ideal peaceful world.

The principle of creation and the purpose of creation is God's true love, true object partner. That's what God is seeking. You see? He is seeking His true love, true object partner, through which He can inherit and give and receive His love, His essence. That is the purpose of creation.

That true object partner, it was to be Adam and Eve -- man and woman made in the image of God. It was then supposed to be Jesus, as the True Father. We forget that Jesus was True Father. Jesus was supposed to be True Father.

Simply put, the purpose of creation it the true love object partner, the perfected man and woman made in the image of God, that can reciprocate and love God, give and receive in Him.

In short: the purpose of creation is True Parents, that is the purpose of creation. The whole universe was made for that purpose, for True Parents. You haven't heard the principle been taught like this, did you? The purpose of creation is True Parents. That is the principle.

It is from that true love object and God's relationship with, that the give and receive can begin, that the four-position-foundation can be set, that the family, tribe, society, nation, ideal world and cosmos can emerge. All those things are the fruit of the purpose which is True Parents. You see? This is the principle. And so, when we understand this, we understand the greatest secret in the universe. We understand the greatest secret, the greatest secret.

Father asked us: "If God had to choose between throwing either the universe away or True Parents away, which one would He throw away?" Which one? You prove my point! If you realize this, we realize the greatest secret in the universe.

Not only that God's purpose of creation was True Parents, but also the created world's purpose is to give and receive in their perspective the true subject partner, when then the third blessing could be substantialized, dominion over creation, you see what I mean? That means the entire created universe, all the universes -- if there are many -- their purpose is to move towards the purpose of creation, which is True Parents -- made in the image of God. We call in Korea the movement of the universe, we call that Chun Oon, that means heavenly fortune and destiny.

So all of you, all of us in this room, we already have a vibration. We already have a frequency coming out of us, already, every one of us. The question is, what kind of frequency is coming out. If we change our frequency, not the one we have now, but one that is the frequency that connects to the universe's motion as well, all the created world, then we can also move with that heavenly flow and destiny. We can move with the heavenly fortune as well. And how we change our frequency is by changing our vibration.

And when we are chanting the "Chambumonim Eog Mansei", sing the "Chambumonim Eog Mansei" we are changing our vibration. You are changing your vibration. You don't believe me, you have to experience it. Oh my gosh, amazing! You'll feel the vibration is moving through you. The holy fire penetrating through you, infusing you. And we prepare our body and our mind and our spirit and then with all our force and strength we send that energy to True Parents. And they feel it! I call Father every night: "Father, did you feel it today?" "I felt it!" "Father, did you feel it today?" "I felt it." Father can feel the love, he can feel the vibration across time and space because in the world of love there is no time and space. It is beyond time, it is eternal, everlasting, immortal.

And so, that's why I am so happy. (Applause) And that's why the church is happy because we learn how to "die". We are learning how to admit we are sinners. Admitting our sin, asking for forgiveness, repenting, taking the spotlight off of me and putting it on the only one worthy of worship. Being forgiven and finding gratitude and seeking to please and love the one who loves us. Eternal joy. Everlasting joy. Everlasting purpose. Everlasting peace, everlasting freedom -- the freedom to truly find your true self-made in the image of God. To give yourself to love the other, that's what God did for us. You see?

Augustine said, "there is a hole in every man's and woman's heart that can never be filled." It can never be filled. We try to fill it with many things in our life, with happiness, with good moments, or iPhone, whatever, technology, success, money, power and fame. We try to fill it with all sorts of things. But there is the hole in the human heart that can never be filled. Never be filled. There is only one thing that can fill the human heart and that is the love of God.

The love of God is not a love we deserve, it is a love that we are given by grace. And that's why it is so amazing. That's why we sing the song "Amazing Grace". And I believe because we are once again coming to the truth in our relationship with True Parents, that we are learning to take the spotlight off of us, to repent, ask for forgiveness, we are coming into the grace of heaven. And guess what? It's amazing. We did this now twice at the Sunday service and now we have Christians…, Christians are coming forward to the alter calls now.

We had a Christian lady (here at church), she is an evangelical Christian, her sister is Unificationist and she's been trying to witness her sister for the last 30 years. 'Get out of that heretic movement, you are going to hell! Come to my church!' And the Christian lady was in her (own) church, which is one of the biggest mega churches in the world, 80.000 members, 30.000 regular attendees. And they are in Kangnam, which is like Park Avenue of Korea. And she was sitting in her service and the head pastor was giving a sermon, he said, "You know, I thought that Unification Church was going to die. But it seems like they are getting more members nowadays." He said that during service.

So then after she heard that she said: 'Oh yeah, my sister, I gotta save her. "So then she called her sister and said, "Sister, I want to spend time with you." Anyway, something happened and the younger sister basically brought the older Christian sister to church. And that was a day we were doing the "Holy Spirit Healing Service. " It was really the first time we were doing it in the big service, you know. So it was really the first time where just anybody can walk in and come in to it -- because (until then) we were doing it more at night-time. And this Christian lady came in here. She ended up participating in the service, singing, Chambumonim Eog Mansei "for an hour. She felt the infusion of the Holy Spirit. She had back problems, those back problems were gone, and now she is signing up -- she is listening to Principle right now!

We had another Christian lady. Christians -- these are Korean Christians -- that's a different genre, it is different, and these are Korean, fundamentalist Christians, okay? We had another Korean Christian, someone brought her to the service, and she was trying to sit in the back, trying to hide. She can't be caught in the Unification Church, right?

So she was sitting in the back, we were doing the Holy Spirit Service, so she was also singing "Chambumonim Eog Mansei " for an hour, and then the infusion of the Spirit comes into her, she collapses, she is slain by the Spirit. You know how the Spirit comes and slay people, slay the demons within. So she literally falls back, like boom, like that, you've seen it. In America you've seen it, the Pentecostal, the Baptist church -- you've seen it. She was slain of the Spirit. My God, she fell back and then she fell forward. Can you imagine that? But, you know, the problem is, the chair in front of her is wood. So she banged her head on the wood chair in front of her. She had this huge bump. So one of our ministers visited her a couple of days later, she had like a bandage on her head. Alright, but she can't be happier, because she had tonsil thyroid cancer, and now it's gone! She loves the bump on the head, the thyroid cancer is gone, praise the bump! You see! Amazing, these are Christians. Because Christians are open to the movement of the Spirit, they seek the Holy Spirit.

There is another prominent Christian. She has been associated with UPF through our Ambassadors for Peace but she never wanted to put her foot into the Unification Church. "Don't know what will happen there if I do that." Right? So she comes to the service and she decides to bring two of her Christian friends from her church, who had been criticizing her for being involved and helping, whatever.

And she is so worried, because as she arrives she hears we'll be doing a different kind of service today. And she's like, " Oh my God, what kind of service is this?" So somebody explains to her, "Oh, we're going to be chanting 'Chambumonim Eog Mansei' for an hour." She is sitting there, "My God, you're going to do what? I brought my two Christians friends to the church for the first time and you're going to be chanting 'Chambumonim Eog Mansei' for an hour, are you crazy?" So we were worried, I mean, I didn't know they were there, but people were worried, because this is a very prominent woman. She was one of the top heads of one of the former runner-up for President of Korea, so she was very prominent. 30 years she's been a Christian, baptized when she went to college, up to now, etc.

You know, the service went on, here we are, the whole congregation singing Chambumonim Eog Mansei, and afterwards I tell my wife, "Omma, call her, find out what happened." Because I am worried too. I am worried, 'my God, what does she think.'

We call her, she said she had the most amazing experience. She said, she felt the love of God and her two Christian friends that she brought, they were weeping the whole time, all singing Chambumonim Eog Mansei. Praise God, people! Come on, praise Him!

This is the working of the Spirit. The Spirit is back. The church is alive. Christians who have been waiting for the Lord are coming forward. They are being called by the Spirit. Because Christians know they are sinners, they know they live because of Jesus' sacrifice. So as evidence they always are looking for the Spirit. That's amazing, it really is amazing. It's a testament to the power of the Spirit.

So I want to invite you all. We'll figure out a way to get you there, it's going to be great to do it with you all. Okay, praise God! We will organize it so we can do it together. And also with our normal Korean members we can do it together. 'Oh Sunday evening, that's very good evening, great day'.

Finally we can be Unificationists. What is so amazing about this, we really become not divisionists, we really become Unificationists. All one in the love of True Parents. All one in seeking and yearning and chasing after God, in love. All one in obeying his commands, not because we fear punishment like conventional religion, 'you follow God's command or you're going to go to hell', but in the Truth, you follow God's commands because you love Him, you love Him, that's why you follow.

And it's absolutely the most gratifying experience to finally feel the power of the Holy Spirit surging through the Church again. It is amazing. And it's not been done because of anybody's power. And as you see it, you'll see it tomorrow or on Sunday, when we do it. I also made a call response, because we are also training everybody, all members we want to be able to teach this because it is so easy to do. We want all members to learn how to lead Chambumonim-nim Eog Mansei, so we want to create small groups centered on this vibration, and this prayer, this practice, and then make that vibration spread. Eventually all ministers, all members we're training now, so that even normal members can lead this. They can invite their friends into these groups. So simple. We already created a CD, that they can use in their group and just follow along.

But when we see the movement of the spirit like that, it is truly amazing. And there is this one call response section that I put in, which is a very important section, because it is a section, where the congregation or the group that you are leading, the group asks you the questions.

So there's three real main questions, and they are designed to make sure we are humble before the Spirit. To make sure the leader who's leading is humble before the Spirit, and that he has repented.

The congregation asks me, as the International President, as a True Child, doesn't matter who it is leading it. Whoever is leading it is asked these questions. Every time I lead that service, the congregation asks me: "Have you repented before God and True Parents, and have you admitted that you are a sinner?" And you must say 'yes'. If you don't, you can't lead it. You must have repented and admitted that you are a sinner before God.

And then they ask you the question, "Do you realize, as the leader of the service, that the service is not about you, but that it is centered on God and True Parents and the Holy Spirit?" And you have to respond.

And then they ask you, "Do you recognize, that as the leader of the service, any miracles that happen, are not because you have miraculous ability, but because of the love and grace of the Holy Spirit and God and True Parents?" So that we can always stay in the right posture before God, we can always stay in the right position. And because we do that, it can block Satan from trying to come in, trying to possess somebody and make them believe that they have all the miraculous power. There is no man who has more power than the Holy Spirit, come on. I don't care how well you can heal people; you can't heal better than the Holy Spirit.

So these are very important things. And those things have been prepared, so when we do it together, please come ready, just come with your body, your mind and your heart, come with your faith and your love for True Parents, and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. It's an amazing day, it's an amazing day.

Nice to see you all brothers and sisters. I hope this is only the beginning, because as God says, when we repent and we are forgiven, the Holy Spirit is sent. He can come within us, give us a new heart and we can become new creatures unto Him.

I hope that your time in Korea is a time when we can go through that process.

God can come into you in a new way, give you a new heart and make you all into new creatures for his purpose and his will. To him be the glory, to True Parents be the glory, for ever and ever, Aju.

God bless you brothers and sisters. See you soon.

Prayer by Hyung Jin Nim:

Father, You create rivers where there were once deserts. You create the path in the wilderness for Your children. And, Father, You have sent from Your own dual characteristics, the logos made flesh, You have sent Your only son, Father to walk the course to restore all of mankind back to You.

But, Father, what a price that had to be paid! What an incredible, unbelievable suffering course that had to be walked to pay for all that sin!

Father we recognize on this day, that it is not due to our deeds, it is not due to the fact that we are good people or that we are worthy, that we can come before You. It is not due to any of our actions, thoughts or words, but it is due to the love that You have shown us, through the life course of our True Parents, who walked in death and sin, so that we may be freed from it.

Father, we and our children and families stand justified before you because of that grace. And, Father, we pray that as we realize this and admit our sin, that, Father, we realize, that we must also ask for forgiveness, that we must repent. And that we must do not the mistake of hating ourselves, as that is self-love. But we must take the spotlight off of us and shine it upon the one who deserves the glory, which is You.

Oh Father of love, we are so grateful, and we pray this with all our brothers and sisters here who are leading ministries all over this world, the national leaders, Father.

May You use these brothers and sisters, Father, You may cleanse them and purify them, that, Father, You may renew them this time, so that when we return back to our countries, Father, we are returning back with a new heart, a new life, that we return back to our nations, teaching the good news, the news, that Christ has returned, that the ever-loving Father in His grace calls us to Him. And, Father, although we are unworthy and full of sin, that You still reach out Your hand to us. Father how hopeful that is, how amazing that love is and that grace is. It is the only hope for this world.

And, Father, we pray that we may once again return not as those who have been steeped in self righteousness and arrogance and in death, but those who have been resurrected, renewed, recreated, by Your loving chastisement, by Your shaping and molding, by Your forgiveness, Your renewing grace and Your unending love. Father, this time is the first year that's been celebrated with True Parents under the new heavenly calendar. We pray that we may also return as new creatures, that Father the newness will not only be seen on the walls of our houses on calendars. But the newness of this epoch and age will be seen in the hearts of Unificationists all over this world. So that we will see Christians come forth to meet the one that they have been waiting for the last two thousand years. That we will see all people of all nations and races and religions coming forth to the incredible news of Your True Parents.

We thank you so much Father. We pray that these brothers and sisters may be Your instruments, that, Father, we may be emptied of our self, that we may seek to die for Your name sake, and, Father, truly discover our true self. A self that has You as it's purpose. A self that desires only You, and, Father, a relationship that exceeds the confines of time and space.

We pray that you may bless this day, that Father from this day and from the incredible blessings that we have received from True Parents over the last few days that we may prepare our hearts in prayer. And as we meet again to worship you and True Parents and give them strength, we pray, that You may bless that as well.

Thank you so much for all You have done. Bless these nations and use these brothers and sisters as Your instruments and Your hands. Let them never be filled with self-righteousness and arrogance, guilt or shame, but let them walk in righteousness because of love, let them be humble before Your amazing grace. And let the world see the light. The light that You have shown through the Principle and it's center, our True Parents.

We thank you so much dear Lord that You are with us today and we pray all these things in gratitude and everlasting love, we lift you up. And we pray that You may feel joy in Your children today. Thank you so much. We pray these things as one brotherhood and sisterhood, all these things in our own names, as central blessed families. Aju.
