As the grace of Ancestor Liberation and Blessing which is held here in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center is expanding to the world, there are many members from around the world that cannot come to Chung Pyung for many reasons, yet they yearn for this grace of Ancestor Liberation and Blessing. Yeon Ah Nim's Welcoming Remarks:

Good afternoon, brothers and sisters. (Good afternoon!) Last Thursday was the 49th True Children's Day. True Father said that True Children's Day is the day that fallen people should praise the most. On the foundation of True Parents' coming, True Father could finally restore the position of true children in front of God.

Today we are really happy and honored to have all of you here with us in this sanctuary and for those who are joining with us via internet, we are welcoming you as well.

Welcome brothers and welcome sisters!

Hyung Jin Nim's Welcoming Remarks:

Welcome brothers and sisters on this beautiful Saturday. It's autumn! It's autumn! Give it up for autumn! (Applause) We love autumn.

Brothers and sisters, today we are going to share from Chung Seong Gyeong Pg. 1479. In the section on 'original human nature and true lifestyle', Father says, "Loving minds always try to sacrifice, to concede and to give and give again. Even if you perform the most generous act of all and then check with your loving mind, it would answer, 'You need to do more.'"

In our life of faith, in our life of friendship, in our life of encouraging and helping each other, this really rings true with all of us. There are times when we need to help others, to really encourage others, help them get up and get through a certain obstacle. And during those times we sometimes may feel depleted ourselves. But at times if we can be that support to that person -- maybe that person was sent to you, maybe that person is just a passerby -- but if we can do that for that person, for that community, etc. We can make a lasting impact on eternal lives.

Father is always telling us to remember this heart, this heart of generosity, one of the main principles of every religion, we can see. And so, Father is asking us also to practice that kind of generous heart, a loving mind, really being able to practice living for others, sharing with others, etc.

Brothers and sisters, before we start service, it is always so important to remember who we are and whose we are. It is so important that we see ourselves from the right perspective, and that is to see ourselves as every day getting more victorious, more illuminated, more filled with peace, being able to shed brighter and brighter light for this world and for our communities.

It's always important to be able to visualize ourselves improving, visualize ourselves getting better, getting to higher levels of school, academics, work and studies, whatever we are putting our minds to. It's always so important to see and envision our future in a positive way, to know that that will come to pass and to walk that course.

Brothers and sisters, let us always remember -- when we look at ourselves from a principle perspective -- that humankind originally had that incredible value, that cosmic value, unique value, divine value, that identity and the purpose, the purpose to truly be able to be equal partners with Almighty God. And that is an awesome purpose, awesome task!

In our lives today what does that mean? That means really be able to bring God joy in our lives, bring other people joy, helping others reach that potential of truly being valuable, filled with identity, filled with purpose and to share that with other people as well.

Brothers and sisters, we invite you to service today, not just to watch and observe, but to be participators today. Let's really step up from observing and we want to participate. Let's sing with the songs, pray with the prayers and be able to listen and share when we are sharing the words.

Brothers and sisters, once again, welcome to service. Beautiful Saturday and it's kicking our weekend off for our seven services that are up and coming. Brothers and sisters, we always love to kick it off with you guys and give it an international flavor with that international sound from Tworivers choir. Brothers and sisters, let's give it up for Tworivers choir, brothers and sisters! (Applause) Welcome once again.

Hyung Jin Nim's Words and Prayer after Meditation Practice:

Wherever we may go, wherever our lives may take us, and how our lives may transform and change, let us know that, just as the seasons turn, there's always beautiful horizons up ahead. Let us know that, although in our lives we may be going through certain obstacles or certain seasons, that they do not last forever and that True Parents and God are walking with us the whole way.

Let's gather our hearts in prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for this day that You have blessed upon us. Father, we are here standing in this beautiful sanctuary on this beautiful autumn day not with just the brothers and sisters here gathered in this sanctuary but, Father, extended in a spiritual sanctuary that crosses the entire globe.

Father, we have brothers and sisters joining us from all over the world, participating here, Father, praying and offering prayers and songs of praise to You. Father, we pray that Your abundant blessing and fortune may be bestowed upon these families, that You may be with them, that You may bless them with great health, Father, that You may bless them with happiness in their lives, that You may bless them with satisfaction in their families, Father, that You may bless them with peace in their homes, that You may bless them to be wise and, Father, truly be able to live for the sake of others, in their communities, in their churches, Father, in the world that they live in.

Father, let us grow, let us mature, Father, let us be the people that You envision for us to become. Let us truly actualize the plans which You have prepared and, Father, let us truly bring to fruition so much sincerity and devotion that You have offered before. Thank You so much. We are grateful for this day, and we offer this from the beginning. Father, we pray that You may be with us and that You may receive our prayers and sincerity today. Thank You so much.

We pray once again with grateful hearts, in the name of Moon Hyung Jin kajeong (family), member of a central blessed family, together with all blessed central families, together in our names, Aju!

Hyung Jin Nim's interesting story:

Before we start words, we always like to start with something a little interesting, just a little interesting... And it being Halloween time, somebody sent me this one along.

There was the story about two men walking home after a Halloween party. And they decided to take a shortcut through the cemetery, just for a little fun. And right in the middle of the cemetery in the dark night, they were startled by a tap-tap-tapping noise, coming from the misty shadows. Trembling with fear, they found an old man, with a hammer and chisel, chipping away at one of the tombstones. "Holy cow, Mister," one of them said after catching his breath, "you scared us half to death! We thought you were a ghost. What are you doing here so late at night?" That old man then replied, "Those fools they misspelled my name!" (Laughter) Ooh, you didn't get it today, huh! Oh! Happy Halloween anyway! (Laughter) I thought it was interesting! (Laughter) OK brothers and sisters.

Hyung Jin Nim's sermon:

Today I'd like to talk to you about the overcoming power of faith. You know, brothers and sisters, in order to live the blessed life, we must be able to overcome obstacles and challenges and many, many archangels that will be in our paths.

Too many people get stuck in life when they hit a big challenge, or when a big confrontation comes their way, "Oh this is too big for me! I'll never make it through this. This is way too insurmountable. I'm never going to make it through." But we have to remember that God and True Parents put us through challenges for a purpose. It is said, that our test will be our testimony and we will be able to be victorious in our lives.

Throughout the course of history, after each age, new technologies were being developed. In the Bronze Age a new technology, the technology of metal, was invented, or shaping metal. And here humans learned to wield the power of metal to create weapons and place them above even the strongest animals, the lions and tigers etc. The sword and those kinds of weapons were heated by beating a lump of metal into a fine weapon, and the sword was then used in two ways, one to protect one's family from enemies, animals, or other types of threats, or two, to conquer and destroy life.

It's the same with us in our own life. God will sometimes put us through the fire and hammer us, not to punish us and not to hurt us, but to strengthen and shape us into things that can become protectors, into those kinds of beautiful swords that can become protectors.

Depending on how we get through these challenges, we can either become a protector or a destroyer. And too many people give up during the fire and hammering process, and become frail swords that can easily break during a real confrontation in life, during a real difficulty that hits them. Others get through the firing process but turn bitter and hateful and make it a point to slay other people's passion and vision for life.

Let's not be these is types of swords, brothers and sisters. We must be the protecting and life giving swords, that can give and get our families through the battles that we will encounter in our lives, and bring them to safety.

You know, last week we had a service for all the handicapped children of Korea and their families that got together here in the sanctuary. And I shared with them a story that a mum once shared with me. She has a handicapped child and she told me this, "You know," she said, "there is the reality of being handicapped physically. My child is physically handicapped. But there is also the worst reality of being handicapped in the mind and even worse than that is the worst thing, and that is handicapping other people's minds."

We can handicap our minds by telling ourselves negative things, "I’m so bad, I'm so ugly, I'm incompetent. I have handicapped children because I'm such an evil person or because my ancestors did evil. I've got no future. It does not get any better than this. This obstacle is too great, it is insurmountable." When we start talking like this, we start handicapping our minds.

And I declared to them on that day when I shared with them the story, "I liberate you from these self-destructive thoughts, in the name of God and True Parents." I did it kind of as a joke, but then the onnis (elder sisters) just started breaking down. The onnis there, the mums, started just crying so much, and I was very moved at that time. I told them, "You know, in our life - this is what that mother told me - you will find what you will seek. If you focus on negative points about ourselves, if we focus on negative points about our children, if we focus on negative points about our life, that is exactly what we will find."

It's kind of like this: in this room, there are a couple of pink shirts, and let's all find the pink-shirt people, quickly. Let's find the people with the pink shirts, one, two, three, go ahead, find the pink shirt people. OK, you found them. Brothers and sisters, why is it that within a couple of seconds you found the pink-shirt people? It's very simple! Whatever we seek we will find. The pink shirts came very quickly into your mind, into your eyes, into your vision. But the other colors, you almost did not see. You were focused on finding pink shirts and that is exactly what you found.

See, I mentioned to them, "I never really understood why women buy these magnifying mirrors and look at themselves in the magnifying mirrors. If you focus on a wrinkle, you're going to find a wrinkle. But if you use a magnifying mirror and you focus on a wrinkle, you're going to find a big magnified wrinkle."

It's kind of like that: Whenever we focus on one thing we're going to find the next. We're going to find the next wrinkle, we're going to find the next unsatisfactory thing about ourselves etc. And to them I again joked and I said, "I liberate you from the power of magnifying mirrors in the name of True Parents," and they didn't cry at that point, they laughed. And I was very happy.

Brothers and sisters, it's so important to realize that we are a team. I tried to share with them, "Parents, it's important that with your children you are a team. These are your team members." We are all team members in our church community. We must be able to realize that. We must support and encourage each other, empower each other to be able to make it through the challenges in our lives, to truly be able to have VIP in our lives.

See, God does test our faith in our life, He absolutely does, but when we make it through, we will be stronger. We then will have more self-esteem, more confidence, we'll be able to overcome the next obstacle with more fortitude and strength. You see, it's so important to have that kind of confidence in your own self, but then to extend it to others, to be able to un-handicap another mind, another heart, another low self-esteem and bring that to a higher self-esteem. That means helping others live the blessed live, that is truly actualizing the blessed life.

You know, research shows that geese that travel thousands of miles together in flocks, they call out dozens and dozens of time per minute as they fly. And research shows that there are many different types of calls that the geese do. One type of call says, "I'm hungry", another type of call says, "I'm sleepy".

But what the researchers found is, that when the geese are flying and when they are calling out their sound, they are not saying, "Mommy I'm hungry" or "I want to take a nap." What are they saying? Those geese are saying something like, "Hi team, go, go, go, you can do it, you can do it!" They are calling out like this. Do you see, the geese doing it? They are doing it. According to research that's exactly what the geese are doing. They are encouraging each other constantly.

We're going to do a quick exercise. Brothers and sisters, let's make a pair with the person next to you and give 12 praises. Let's give the person right next to you 12 praises. We have to do it in less than a minute, because the geese can do a hundred in a minute, so we got to beat the geese. Let's do 12 in one minute. Ready, go! 12 praises, come on! (Brothers and sisters do this exercise loudly)

Were we victorious? Did we do it? (Yes) Give it up for everybody in this sanctuary, brothers and sisters, give it up... (Enthusiastic applause) What happened? What happened? I am up here on the platform watching all of you and there was a dead silence when I was talking up until now and all of a sudden I told you to become geese, and I asked you to give somebody a praise, 12 praises. All of a sudden the Holy Spirit just came down. All of you guys were screaming and shouting and happy.

What happened? There is tremendous energy in encouragement. There is tremendous energy when we tell each other, "We can do it. We are part of a team. You have the talent to be able to do it, you have the ability. God has given you the skills to be able to overcome this task. You can make it through this!" When we are able to support each other like this, there is profound energy there, and you felt it right now.

You see, praising and encouraging each other, helping each other, team members together, to make it through the obstacles that we are facing as a team, that is one of the keys about living the blessed life and helping others live the blessed life.

You know, here at the HQ church and now in our entire Unification family we have an enormous goal, 210,000 member Unification Temple of God, New Jerusalem, here in the fatherland of Korea. On October 12th Father announced it, and this will be the first providential priority of our entire UC world family.

And the UC family will be tested. Our faith will be tested. The results will be released for all to see and all will be tested, not by any person, not anybody will be judging each other, but our community, the history of our movement will draw a judgment upon us. We will be like the 2nd Gen. Will we be like the 2nd Gen that followed Joshua and Caleb into the Promised Land and then forgot to build the Temple, falling into secularity and faithlessness?

Or on the World Temple will there only be the names of our Japanese brothers and sisters, or will the other nations step up? Will Korea step us, will the other nations step up and be able to create our Vatican and Mecca for our tradition? You see, as Father gave us this huge providential mission, I as the international president, have an obligation to share this with you, not only in the sanctuary but across the world. It is an enormous challenge, but here in Korea, for the very first time in Korean church history, as we are developing and growing the church, moving towards this goal, we actually see a totally different phenomenon.

We see this challenge, given by True Parents, not as a burden, but we see it as a blessing from True Parents. It's the first time in the history of the church when Father has moved the focus, the main providential mission, into church building, into building community.

Japan has been shedding blood sweat and tears for our entire movement, subsidizing every single mission, every single business, every single community. America, Europe, every single community, has been subsidized by our Japanese brothers and sisters.

We can really step up and show the to the world movement and especially to Japan that we are being responsible in this new age. We are here to help Japan, help our brothers and sisters, who have burdened this incredible, immense weight, for the last 50 years, and it is time for the other nations to step up, to be leaders and owners of the Unification tradition, not only be free riders of the tradition.

This is truly a test of faith. Like my brother says, "Who will put their action where their mouth is? Who will invest in the Unificationism? Who will have faith in our future?" This is going to be revealed for all to see. But we will absolutely succeed in this task. That is 100% guaranteed. We will not be attacked, shamed and persecuted as a movement forever. We're going to stop that trend. Now is the time to step up to the world stage as a movement, and we are moving towards that.

But I guarantee, brothers and sisters, there is going to be fire. There is absolutely going to be fire! In Korea now, as we move towards the building of this sanctuary, we will be attacked by fundamentalist Christianity. Absolutely we will be attacked. They will totally oppose this. They will demo in front of the site, calling Jesus' name, but we will not fight them. We will not fight them, we will not curse them. We will love them and we will be open to the media who have become our friends.

We will have world level VVIPs coming to our service, like former Costa Rican president Carazo, who met the head of Congress, who came to service, gave the sermon, just a couple of weeks ago. He met the head of Congress, met the Seoul city major, and supported outright the necessity of a world inter-religious Peace Temple. We will show that the Unification Temple is good for the country and that it's good for the world, that inter-religious unity and peace will be the example that the world needs, and that this Temple will be the Mecca for tens of thousands of people.

The more fundamentalist Christians attack us, the more we will be supported by the other citizens of the nation and the more God will bless this Temple. We will not fight persecution with persecution, but we will fight persecution with wisdom, with faith, with truth and with unending hard work.

You see, we already see here in Korea the spiritual world moving. We have 10 ministers on our Korean team. One of the ministers came to me just the other day and told me that just a couple of days ago a lady contacted him. She is the head of a Christian prayer organization, and she contacted him. She said, "You know what! I had a strange dream, a revelation the other day that, in the nation of Korea, there needs to be a Temple of God." The way she translated it in Korean it's like "a Temple of the Deity," that kind of thing. "And then I had a dream that I need to talk to you, Reverend."

So that particular minister communicated to her, "Wait a minute, the Unification Movement is now going to prepare to build a world sanctuary." And she literally did a back flip. He told me that she told him that a Taoist priest -- a Taoist person living in the mountains who has this long beard, he's a Taoist practitioner and priest -- he came down the mountain to tell her to go and meet this particular minister. He said, "Go to her, the Unification church is doing something. Go to them and help them!"

When we saw that, the minister was totally shocked. He saw that the spiritual world is moving, that our brothers and sisters in the spiritual world are moving to try to help really to actualize this task that True Father has given to us. And when we see this we know that we are moving together, both in the spirit and in the world, and both in heart and in mind and in body.

You know, brothers and sisters, what can we learn today? When we are flying together on our path of faith we must do like those geese. We must constantly support and empower each other. We have a great challenge to overcome, a huge challenge to overcome, as a movement. It is to build our Mecca, our Vatican, or the world Unification Peace Temple, and that is while True Parents are here. That is not when they are not here. Just like those Israelites who followed the 2nd Gen into Canaan, they had to create that substantial, direct object of faith through which the people could be educated and through which their heritage could be communicated forever. That was not done, and we saw the providential picture, 2000 years providential delay.

We also know that during this major providential project we will be attacked. I will personally be attacked. I know this because we are already on the media. Kook Jin Nim hyung as well, he will also be attacked; he is also on the media. We are on the frontline. We are totally committed to making this happen, despite those attacks.

And it is so important that whenever we are moving in this phase in our life, whenever we are facing difficulty as a movement, especially at this time, to truly show the world movement that we are not just sort of observers of the faith, free riders of the faith, that we will not quickly lose our faith when nobody is here to encourage us, but that we are here not to profit off the Japanese brothers and sisters. We are here to be owners of our tradition, our faith and our heritage. We are here to continue to make our faith grow and develop.

And Kook Jin hyung, myself, our entire ministerial team, our chedan (financial) team, our jappe team, our world mission team, we are completely focused on making and offering this victory up to True Parents. And this is without a doubt. I truly pray that all the people, all the nations of the world, will truly be able -- and I am not only talking about Unificationists, there are already people who are not Unificationists who are being able to support, like President Corazo -- to contribute to the success and that our names will truly be displayed for all generations to come in the world Unification Temple of God.

See, it is so important that, in this time, we overcome this obstacle, these upcoming months, these upcoming years when we will be under fire, we will be under attack by other religious traditions, and we will be getting opposition by them. I heard of a young blessed child, just a young person, maybe eight years old, and just by the fact that he said, "I am a Unificationist" he received criticism, and he received persecution in his third grade class.

We have to be able to move our tradition out of that type of persecution stage, out of that stage so that we can easily say, "I am a Unificationist", and do it with pride and not be persecuted. I want to see the day when our children, when our grandchildren, can easily say, "I am a Unificationist and we have a beautiful tradition. You should come and see our tradition" and then not being persecuted by anyone. Everybody will say, "That's fantastic; let me go see what you are doing."

In this Temple we truly will be able to actualize what Father has taught us. We are here to unify North and South Korea. We are here to make peace and unity among the religions, we are here to substantialize that, here in the Temple, the sanctuary of God.

And let us overcome our obstacles and these upcoming obstacles with strength, confidence and faith. The faith comes from within ourselves, our community, our movement, and our church believers. Is our church going to be believers and actionizers or are we going to be free riders for the rest of our existence? That is the true question and the test of faith that is coming up ahead

Brothers and sisters, it is so important that, as we move through our obstacles in life, and even on a personal level or on the community level, that we are able to support each other, move through these things, and after we do pass these hurtles, we will absolutely see new horizons, new doors opening, and we will see our Unification tradition, not in the shadows, not hidden in shame, or hidden in obscurity, but being able to be proudly displayed as a proud tradition and a beautiful heritage.

Brothers and sisters, if we truly move forward with this kind of strength, and not only with this kind of faith but with the action that follows, we will be able to find ourselves and our communities with more victory, more illumination and more peace and we will live the blessed life and extend that blessing to others. Brothers and sisters, if you accept this message, let's give the glory back to God and True Parents. (Applause)

Hyung Jin Nim's words and prayer after the final meditation practice:

Let us always move with the fortune of God and True Parents on our side, knowing that we can overcome every obstacle in our path.

Let us join our hearts in prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for this day that You have blessed upon us. Father, we are so grateful that we are able to be here sharing time with You today. Father, we pray that You may bestow and instill within us great courage, Father, that You may instill within us great determination and perseverance.

Father, right now True Father has challenged the entire movement. He is asking us to step up and bring the Unification tradition to the world stage. Heavenly Father, let us truly be able to overcome this obstacle, this impediment, that we may truly be victorious in the eyes of history, and Father, while True Parents are here, that we will be able to serve our tradition for the rest of eternity.

Father, it has been up until now that 50 years our brothers and sisters in Japan have carried the financial burden of every single mission country in this world, without exception, and we have all benefited off of their sweat and their tears. There is no country in comparison that has contributed to the providence like Japan. Father, we pray that Japan may reduce this burden and, Father, that we as other nations may step up, and not just be takers, but, Father, we may not be free riders of the Unification tradition, but, Father, we may be contributors, builders, Father, we may be supporters of the Unification tradition.

Father, let us move through this test of faith, this true act of courage and let us liberate our brothers and sisters who have been, Father, in the fire in Japan for 50+ years. It is now time, in the age of liberation, it is our mission to be able to not only give them the burden and responsibility. Father, let us also step up, let our other nations also participate and let each and every family shine before this world.

Father, we truly hope that this eternal Peace Temple, the Unification Temple, that will last forever in this world, will be the symbolic representation of our entire tradition, that, Father, will bring us to the world stage as a Unification movement, and that, Father, we will be able to show that the prophecies that have been made in the Principle, can come true, and that while True Parents were alive, we did begin.

Father, we pray that we may be those actualizers, those people who can truly move beyond receiving from Your goodness, receiving Your grace and being those who can give and share Your grace.

Father, we pray that we may be the people that can truly pass through this seemingly insurmountable task, but, Father, we know we will, we absolutely will do it. Father, here in our teams in HQ church, in every single team that we are connected to in Korea, we will hang our lives on the line, and we will accomplish this task for You. And Father, even if it is the case that we will be personally attacked by other religious traditions who do not understand the mission of inter-religious unity, who do not understand the mission of True Parents, we will still succeed despite that.

Father, we pray that You may be with us through the next couple of years, that You may be with us as we move towards 2013 and as we truly will be able to offer this in front of heaven and earth.

Father, right now, finally our movement has a vision that is clear, that is numerical, Father, that can be visualized. And we pray that we cannot only do projects that increase our social persona or image but that from now on, as True Parents have given us this blessing to invest in our church community, we may invest to build the Unification tradition and bring it to worldwide acceptance, That is our task, and we are willing to go to the end for that.

Father, we thank You that You have given us that blessing, and, Father, that we can be participants in this age. I am truly grateful, from the bottom of my heart, Father, we truly are here for You. We are here to accomplish this task, and we absolutely shall offer this before True Parents while they are on earth.

Thank You so much. We pray these things here with all the blessed central families who are joining with us together. Let us truly create this victory for True Parents. We pray these things in our own names as blessed central families, Aju! (Aju!)

Welcome Remarks:
Yeon-ah Nim:

Good afternoon, brothers and sisters!

Today we are having such a beautiful day to celebrate and worship Heavenly Father and True Parents.

And today we are also very honored to have former President of Costa Rica, Mr. and Mrs. Carazo, here. Let's give them a warm round of applause. And we are also welcoming each one of you who are in this sanctuary. For those who are joining via internet we are welcoming you as well. Welcome brothers and welcome sisters.

Hyung Jin Nim:

Welcome, brothers and sisters!

Today we have such a distinguished guest. We are going to introduce him a little later during the worship service. Today President Carazo is going to be our minister; we are going to be able to hear words of God from our President. (Laughter and applause) I've put out my retirement for this weekend but next weekend I will be right back.

Brothers and sisters, it's always such a pleasure to see you here. Today we have such a great occasion where we can feel the foundation we have with our friends all around the world joining together with us. We want to welcome all the brothers and sisters that are joining us via internet from all the different countries of the world. We want to include you and have you participate with us in the service. As we always remind everybody -- let's take this service not only to observe but let's really participate in the service. That means for us to be able to pray, sing, share and listen to the words together. If we do that we will be able to offer that to God and we will be able to glorify God and True Parents with a beautiful heart of love from His children.

We want to encourage you all to be participators today not only to observe but really being able to embrace the words that will come from President Carazo's heart. We really feel that he has such a rich history of serving the different nations of this world, promoting peace and being one of the real global peace activists, working together with True Parents. We are so grateful to him, and we are so honored that he is here with us today in our sanctuary at Headquarters Church. Brothers and sisters, it really is a proud day for us as a Unification Family -- we are truly able to stand together with one of our dearest friends, our most beloved associates and, we will feel the light of God and True Parents in our hearts today. I do pray for that.

Hyung Jin Nim's Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for this day that You have blessed us with. Today we are gathered in this amazing, historic sanctuary. We are attending here as brothers and sisters from around the globe, our Unification Family, that stretches to 190 nations of this world. Today we wish that You may be with us, that we may bring joy to You; that we may learn and be enlightened by Your words, that we may be enlivened by the songs that we will sing for You.

We pray that Your everlasting love, Your everlasting light of hope, may shine in the hearts of each of the families here. And we are praying that You may speak through our dear brother President Carazo, who came all the way from Costa Rica. We are so grateful that you have led this son, that You have allowed to work Your will through him, to spread true and lasting peace across this globe. Thank You for this beautiful brother's life and heart, for his work and for his beautiful wife and children. We pray that your abundant blessings may be with his family; that Your blessings will come and shower through him and may touch the lives of the many brothers and sisters that are gathered here with us today.

Please be with us, Father; we know that you will be encouraged today, that You will find new hope and that You will see that Your children are standing together, that we are leading the way to true victory, true illumination and true peace.

Thank you so much for this day. We pray that You may be here from start to finish, from alpha to omega. We pray that in this sanctuary a historic day may occur and that from now on the world may sing songs of praise and hallelujah, chanting Your beautiful name, so that we may truly become one family here with you. Thank you so much, we pray these things together in the names of all the blessed, central families across this world, in the names of all the saints and sages that have been with us and that have passed, in the name of True Parents, the True Family and in our names. Aju!

Introduction of Guest Speaker by Hyung Jin Nim:

Brothers and sisters, I would like to give you a brief testimony before I introduce our very distinguished President. It is about the leaders' conference in Hawaii. Father re-emphasized and gave the mission to the whole movement to move forward on the project of the 210,000 Unification Peace Temple.

As you know, this is the unfinished dream, stemming from 900 plus years before Jesus, with King Solomon building the temple, then again it being destroyed, then it being rebuilt by Cyrus the Second of Persia. And now Father has given us the new task of building the perfection stage level (third level) temple. And that temple will be built here in Korea. That temple will signify not only the unity of all the Abrahamic traditions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam but also of the non-Abrahamic traditions, Buddhism, Hinduism etc.

In this temple we will have all the inter-religious services that we have for our community here, in the Headquarters Church, on a smaller scale. But in this amazing temple we will see come to fruition the prophecy of the Resurrection Chapter in the Principle.

We will be able to see all the religions being able to come into the house of one family and understand the role of True Parents, their role, their providential significance, throughout the course of time. And they will be able to understand the importance of the fatherland, creating and setting the precedence for peace across this world.

Father has said, and our President has reiterated many times, that it is so important that Korea sets the example for peace. If North and South Korea, this incredible divide, create peace here on this peninsula, then this sets a tremendous precedence across the globe for real and lasting peace.

This is Father and Mother Moon's vision, as we explained last time. But now Father has really taken up this task and has handed it down to the worldwide movement and asks us now to go forth and focus to bring this into reality.

Because of this amazing foundation that True Father has created for the last two, three decades, doing inter-religious and reconciliation work, so many friends have been able to come to know True Parents and their amazing work. It is through their tireless efforts, ministering, starting from the humble old Headquarters Church just down the road, that True Parents were able to set the seeds of the world wide global vision that they hold so dear in their hearts.

And as they return to their nation of Korea now, being able to walk forward with the providence, True Parents are showing us the way by illuminating our paths towards a true vision lasting peace in the nation of Korea where we actually have a very diverse religious population.

About a third of the population is Catholic and Christian, a third of the population is Buddhist and another third is from the indigenous Korean traditions. And as we can see even in the modern times, we have a great deal of tension and conflict arising between those different faiths.

It is so timely that True Parents have told us, as a worldwide movement, to focus now here in the Fatherland and create a world level temple where all the religions will be able to converge and come together to talk not only about their differences but also about their similarities that bind us together as brothers and sisters in faith. Because of their incredible foundation True Parents have now given us this amazing vision of creating the World Peace Unification Temple. In it we will have all these different services that we already hold at the Headquarters Church building.

(Hyung Jin Nim greets a Christian minister that just came in and says, "We see the Holy Spirit moving through him every Saturday.") (Applause)

Brothers and sisters, of course we have also Bishop Milingo here with us, participating in our Catholic Unification service, and very soon in our Buddhist Unification service we are going to have many participants from the different Buddhist communities; they will participate with us in worship and will be able to understand the centrality of the nation of Korea and also the vision that Father and Mother Moon have for this world. Because of their amazing work over decades True Parents have come across and come to know our great and dear friend President Carazo.

President Carazo is such a distinguished statesman. He has such an amazing career which I can't even retain in my mind. So I have to refer to my notes to be able to adequately introduce him.

As a statesman, educator, politician and coming from the very humble roots as a farmer, President Rodrigo Carazo is one of the world's best known global activists for peace. He has been constantly concerned for human rights across the different nations of the world. He has dedicated his life for the fulfillment of world peace and he has articulated the philosophy of world peace for secondary schools and university education.

During his four year term as President of the Republic of Costa Rica he created the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San Jose, working together with the organization of the American States. He is the founder of the renowned International American Institute of Human Rights and the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica. Being a deputy in the Legislative Assembly in 1966, he became Speaker of the House in 1966 and 1967 and was elected and served as the President of Costa Rica from 1978 to 1982.

He expanded Costa Rica's global profile both in the UN and in the relation to other countries. He established for the first time relations with African, Arab and Asian nations and in particular also with Korea. He sought Latin American solidarity and independence from world political and economic power centers.

In the United Nations, in 1978, he proposed the establishment of a University for Peace, saying, "If you want peace, prepare for peace." Two years later the University for Peace, or UPeace, was chartered by the United Nations General Assembly on December 5th 1980. He was the first President of that amazing university.

As an educator he has taught at the University of Costa Rica, the national University of Costa Rica, and at the Central University in Caracas; he has lectured in history, economics, housing administration, planning, general sociology and community development.

He has been a visiting scholar in five different continents. He has taught at campuses here and also in the North! He has taught in the Kim Il Sung University as well, the first delegate from Costa Rica and actually from Latin America to be able to hold such a distinguished honor!

Since 1987 Dr. Carazo has been a member of the former President Jimmy Carter's Council of Freely Elected Heads of the government of the Americas and as such participated as chief of mission and member of mission on several of its election monitoring missions in various countries in the Americas, Africa, Asia and CIS countries.

Dr. Carazo has participated in successful negotiations for the release of hostages of guerrillas in Colombia, establishment of peace in Central America and also dedicated efforts towards the entry of South and North Korea as United Nation members in 1991.

His devotion to the creation of institutions for the promotion of friendship and peace in the world has won him international acclaim from around the world. He has been bestowed with so many honorary degrees, including from Seoul National University here in Korea and also from Bridgeport University.

This is only a small part of the amazing activities that this incredible, global leader has participated in. But more than that we have seen that he is a man of tremendous faith, a man coming from very humble backgrounds and a man whose charisma and passion stems from a deep humility before God.

We believe that it is because of that tremendous service that he has given to God, that he has been able to serve the world as God's patron, as God's blessing, to this world. He has been able to touch so many thousands of lives during his career, and we know that his life will become even brighter and will touch even more and more lives as it continues every single year.

Brothers and sisters, let's give it up for President Carazo!

I need to; I must say one more thing. There is a saying, "Standing with every amazing man is a more amazing woman.

There has been somebody who has been the rock of President Carazo's extraordinary career: 61 years of marriage -- President Dr. Carazo and Mrs. Carazo! 61 years!

They are the proud grandparents of 19 grandchildren and also great-grandchildren. So we have here great-grandfather wisdom, truly a tremendous not only statesman but also a tremendous parent, grandfather and great-grandfather. Brothers and sisters, it is my great delight and honor to be able to welcome the honorable President Dr. Carazo. (Applause)

President Carazo:

Thank you very much for this very warm welcome. I am really very pleased to be here. Yesterday, 27 years ago, I visited Korea for the first time, a long time before many of you were born. I am very pleased to come here again. Let me make a couple of remarks before I give you some words coming from my heart.

How old I felt, Reverend, listening to you! I realized I have been living for so long because you have to live in this world for many years before being able to share the experience that you get when you go through all of these events, pieces of life.

The second remark has to do with my country. And I suggest to the students, and all of us are students, to look where my country is. We are at the Pacific rim. And we Costa Ricans think that we are the center of the Caribbean.

So in many respects, we have a lot of things in common. I come from a country which was able to abolish slavery even before becoming independent in 1821. The Costa Rican people declared the abolishment of slavery before declaring independence and it was a sign of faith for the future and a commitment for the coming generations.

And we were also able to abolish death penalty in 1882. It was the First Lady of my country who convinced the President that we had to abolish death penalty before doing many other things because she convinced the President to follow the thinking that life cannot be touched by human beings.

And also we abolished the army, which took place in 1948. And we abolished the army thinking that unless it is very, very necessary we better refuse to have an army because armies always try to find places for the encounter, places to become victorious, and they think that a victorious army is the one able to kill more people. We abolished the army. And ever since... let me share a secret with you: We became the strongest nation on earth because nobody can defeat us!

I read this paper this morning, and I want to begin my words by reading the first line of it: "The family is the textbook of love through which we can connect with universal love." Yes, this is absolutely true. It is the only way for us to keep contact with the rest of the planet because members of families here are exactly the same as members of my family. And I am sure that all of the feelings you have are the same feelings we cultivate in my family.

Yes, peace is a way of life. Peace has little to relate with treaties, signed between countries or groups fighting each other. Peace is a way of life, and it begins from within. It begins from ourselves and it continues through generations to come.

For those who live imitating God's teaching, action has to be oriented with a complete respect to others. And this forces us to do the correct thing, which is respecting other people's rights. If you respect other people's rights you live in peace.

This modern civilization of our times leads many to make confusion of material things, while humans' duty is to proclaim that everything is possible with the one that goes along with us. Life must be passion, discipline, will; will and vision end when falling in the comfort of the omission that always emerges from fear.

We as Christians, we imitate Christ, and we must be certain that this demands to fully respect others, and many times in fact, our godliness will lead us into the error of feeling ourselves better then the rest who surrounds us. We must be afraid of being like that.

Albert Einstein used to say: "They sit to watch what passes by." We have to participate! We have to work towards a better future. This civilization forces us to take into consideration that all human beings, no matter what the differences are, belong to a diversity of expressions of only one human race, all of them made by God. There is only one human race. All of us are alike. It is not a matter of respecting but loving.

If we had been able to reach the clear waters in which you can enjoy the real victory of us all, the only real victory when we are ready to work for peace, then we would have defeated fear, refusing what is easy and raising the immaculate banner of love, symbol of truth, of the truth that is God and peace within it.

According to many experts, both past and present, this is the era of the Pacific civilization. And the Korean peninsula, at its center, as I have said before, is responsible in many ways for that peace. When we think about this big ocean, probably the largest lake on earth, we have to bear in mind that it belongs to the human race, that no one has the right to try to defend or to import it because, belonging to humanity, it needs no defense. It has to be respected and, we have to feel that it is ours.

The fish, swimming in the Pacific coastal area of my country, come here not only to swim in your waters but to come to your dishes because you fish our fish down there and you have the right to do so. You have to do it respectfully; you have to protect the multiplication of the fish. We have to respect it but it is ours, yours and ours.

The name of Pacific Ocean, as you know, was used first by Balboa, the so-called discoverer of the Pacific rim. You know, they discovered the Pacific rim after millions of people had already lived here! And when they came here for the first time they noticed that the Pacific Ocean was very peaceful compared to other oceans of the planet. And that's why they gave it that name.

We have to keep it as a peaceful ocean. The ocean of peace, the ocean of the future, the ocean which is becoming the center of the planet. When I talk with my friends and my children I use to tell them that this continent Asia, with respect to us, is not the Far East but the very Close West, and that things have been changing in such a way that we have to remember that the planet is a round ball, and that we are very close one from the other, and that we move very fast from Costa Rica to Korea, no matter if you have to fly 12 or 17 hours in total. So the continent is round and the Pacific Ocean should be peaceful.

We acknowledge the work of Reverend and Mrs. Moon. And I pay a lot of respect to what they have been doing for so many years, and I remember them working for the peaceful world I am talking about, and now I see their children doing the same. Congratulations and thank you! It's a matter of responsibility. You don't feel it that way but for me it's something I really admire because in this kind of world we live in, it's very easy to forget the responsibilities and also very easy to follow the trends of the commercial life of our times.

I thank you very much for your efforts to keep this church alive, to enlarge it, to work for it, to try to take peace towards the rest of the planet and also to live together with us no matter the distance, no matter how many hours of flight you have to make in order to arrive in our countries.

We welcome the idea that the worldwide good will for peace needs one global focus which should be to build a temple of reconciliation and peace so that the world can come together at that temple, and the structures surrounding it are supposed to be not for defense but the fence for our living together.

South Korea should the home country of that temple. No doubt. And I'm sure that, because you talk about it with such emotion, you will make it possible. Count on us. We will try to do our best in order to help because we want to have a common home for humanity.

Religion is an instrument, believing together is peace, and I think that if you reach the goal of building that temple you will step forward in a different world, a world of living together, a world of peace. Heads of states and governments are responsible for bringing peace to their nations, and they should become aware of these efforts, of this project and goal, and they should help both, while in office and afterward.

I used to tell my friends, those who had been Presidents of countries, that being the President of a country is something that lasts just a few days, just a few days, but your responsibility towards the creation of a world of peace is permanent, is permanent, as are permanent all of the goals being followed by human beings.

This temple will represent the internal aspiration of all humanity, of all civil society. As governments endorsed the creation of the United Nations in 1945, we are supposed now to build, as we pronounce it in Spanish, an Abel UN. And the temple should also be the home of the universal values of charity, faith, magnanimity, generosity, fidelity, forgiveness, compassion, kindness, devotion, loyalty, sacrifice and self-denial. These are the faces of true love in practice. They are the common language of all religions. These virtues were originally defined by religion, the language of the heart and the spirit. This temple is where all of us, all humanity, will find a place where to fulfill the positive feelings of life. I am sure that God is shining on us!

Hyung Jin Nim:

President Carazo is such a warrior and has such a spirit! Brothers and sisters, let's give it up again for President Carazo! Let's gather our hearts in prayer, thank you very much:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day that You have blessed upon us. Father, you have given us true faith and strength in this day. We have heard Your words of wisdom, Your words of enlightenment into our hearts. Father, You have spoken through our dear friend, President Carazo, his worldwide vision and his experience. Father, he has come here to truly be able to shed his light of compassion, his heart as a grandparent to all of his children and his family, really standing with a parental heart, facing this world and facing his own future.

Father, we are here today worshiping together as one family, and, Father, we are here overcoming all obstacles that are in our way. Father, we know that in our lives we may be facing challenges, hurdles, but, Father, we pray that You may give us the strength, the perseverance and the confidence to truly be able to overcome them and quickly move forward, to truly be able to establish Your world of peace. Heavenly Father, today is a true and great day.

We pray that You may be with our brothers and sisters all around the world, that all their prayers, their love and devotion may be here with our True Parents in Korea, that Your homeland may be blessed and all Your children that reside here and in other nations connected.

Father, we pray that your light of hope may reach all nations of this globe. Thank You today for our dear brother, President Carazo, his touching words, his amazing wealth of experience he has shared with us. Father, let's not just respect each other but let us learn to love one another, let's be truly global citizen where we can truly set the example for inter-religious, international, interracial harmony and peace.

Father, we truly wish that we may come together into the temple where You reside and truly be able to offer our strengths, our worship, our faith, our discipline, our confidence, Your hope that you imbue into us, and, Father, that we may walk out with more confidence, more strength, more perseverance and more victory.

Father, thank You for this day. We truly are grateful for all that You have blessed us with and pray that Your abundant blessing may be with the Carazo family, with all their beautiful children and grandchildren, and that Your abundant protection, love and abundance and fruition may be with them for ever and ever.

Father, thank You so much for this day, and thank you so much for the words You have shared with us. Father, we take these with us and leave today more enlightened, more enriched and filled with more hope for our futures. We pray all these things with tremendous gratitude and everlasting love in the names of all the blessed central families around this world together here. Aju.

Unification Peace Temple

Hyung Jin Moon
October 13, 2008
Hawaii

Father gave the name for the World Unification Peace Temple, Cheon Bok Gung, at 7:00 pm on October 12, in the eighth year of Cheon Il Guk (see photo, above, in which Hung-jin nim shows Father's rendering of the name in Chinese characters). The time we have been waiting for as Unificationists has come. It is to be built in a central location in Seoul. The two hundred and ten thousand Unificationists who will constitute its members will not be attending a big event that happens once and then is over. They will be the ones who are attending service every week!...

That vision is already being realized in front of our eyes. We are already in the preparatory stages.

Father gave the responsibility to all members in the world for the building of Cheon Bok Gung-the temple for World Peace and Unification, which will serve two hundred and ten thousand people. This is now your mission. And this is my mission...

Yesterday, Father declared that the building of this temple, Cheon Bok Gung, in a central place in the father nation of Korea, is the primary responsibility for our movement throughout the world. This project will stand in front of all other projects. In relation to True Parents, the building of this sanctuary, which will demonstrate wonderful proof of resurrection, is the mission of our worldwide Unificationist Community.

When we think about it, there is no better way to show filial piety toward True Parents than building the temple. There is no filial piety or glory leading to a greater substantiation of the Principle vision.

This vision of religious unity, which we read about in Divine Principle, must be realized while True Parents are here on earth, while the Messiah is here. We don't have a great deal of time between now and 2013, but we do have a clear vision and a clear goal. On this foundation, Cheon Il Guk will be established.

When we accomplish this, all of Korea -- indeed, all the world -- will be watching. Everyone will be watching what our movement is doing. They will see what Rev. Moon is really working for.

By 2013, we will complete this temple providence. Please say "Aju" if you believe we can do it! [Aju!]

Yet it is not enough just to have faith; we cannot bring resurrection just by our belief. We must bring resurrection through going out and putting our faith into practice. This will become amazing and irrefutable proof of True Father being the king of kings. I am convinced of this. The Korean church is already stepping forward, and the Japanese church is stepping forward...

Father clarified that the soil brought to Korea [from Jerusalem] will be the root of the temple. The history of the amazing temple in Jerusalem will be the root of the world peace temple in Korea, the third Israel.

We will go through the city walls to the Promised Land; we will go into the city [of Seoul] that is still completely centered on the heart of Satan, and set down the eternal root of the Unification Family, which no one can ignore. This is the great work of God's sons and daughters throughout the world to erect the third temple. This is my belief and my conviction. Aju! [Aju!]

[Humorously] I am usually a very calm person, very quiet, but whenever I talk about this, the good spirit world comes down and I go a little bit crazy! I cannot sleep at night!

In front of our children, while True Parents are on earth, let's work on this great task together! Let's really do our best. This is the primary mission of our Unificationist Community. Please announce this in detail to all the members when you go back to your countries.

Proclaiming the Completion of the Liberated Realm of the Portion of Responsibility in God's Providential History

Hyung Jin Moon
October 13, 2008
King Garden, Kona, Hawaii

"NOTE: These notes are taken from a script from the web site of FFWPU Korea. These cannot be published as definitive texts and should never be used in the future as an "official" publication on Rev. Moon's words. However, they do provide a good idea of the "spirit" of the message." Katsumi Kambashi

It rained a lot last night. Today, True Parents, who conducted Hoon Dok Hae at the Queen Garden with the True Family, sent Hyung Jin Nim's couple to speak at the King Garden where all of the other participants had their Hoon Dok Hae.

Hyung Jin Nim explained the vision and the providential meaning of establishing the Unification Temple which can hold up to 210,000 people. The direction of establishing the temple in such a scale was given by True Parents on August 17, 2008. He detailed the history of establishing the temple in God's providence, and emphasized how providentially necessary it is to make that temple in Korea, Father's home land, which has been the dream of Heaven.

He said that after having entered Canaan, the Israelite got secularized under the effect of the Canaanites, who must have held tightly the ideal of establishing the temple. That ideal finally got started under the reign of King Solomon, which had been destroyed by Babylon later. After the Israelites had come back from their exile in Babylon, they established the temple, which, however, was destroyed completely in 70 AD, and the ideal of establishing the temple remained unaccomplished.

He emphasized that to realize such an historical ideal of establishing the temple in Korea is of the essence in substantially making the temple of that scale in the Korean peninsula, which is God's homeland. The temple will be the headquarters where people from all religions and races will praise the King of Kings, the True Parents of Heaven and Earth. He also said that the providence of establishing the Unification Temple for the World Peace has been developed under True Parents' utmost blessing and love.

He mentioned that he already had started inter-religious service at the headquarters. His plan is to have service at the headquarters for the Catholic, Buddhists, and people from other religions. He said he had thought all his experiences in various religions as personal ones, but now realized that those are experiences are the preparation God gave him in order for him to realize a greater task in God's providence.

According to Hyung Jin Nim, after he held this vision as his, he got a special request from the spirit world and had a dream. In his dream, Yeong Jin Nim (one of Hyung Jin Nim's elder brothers who is in the spirit world) and Shin Joon Nim (True Father's grandson who always travels with them) appeared shouting out "Theory of Resurrection! Theory of Resurrection!" Later he heard the thousands of spirits who also shouted "Theory of Resurrection!"

He later opened that part of the Unification Principle, and through reading how religious people in the spirit world can be resurrected (which is by helping earthly people to contribute to God's province and eventually they in the spirit world can enjoy the same benefit the earthly people would obtain), he realized lots of things. He said he was actually really surprised with that reading. Hyung Jin Nim, who has been giving the Divine Principle lecture including that part, confessed that he had been curious as to when those resurrections would happen.

He said that though he has been working with lots of inter-religious activities, from now on he needed to go forward with the vertical tradition. He emphasized that he could make happen what the Unification Principle details on the resurrection of religious people in the spirit world. He earnestly explained to the participants his plan of providing the first session of Sunday service for the Protestants, the second session for the Catholics, and the third session for the Buddhists. According to him, he himself could not understand it this deeply in the past. He also emphasized that this is not just to make a mega-church but the vision for substantially unifying all religions.

Hyung Jin Nim said True Father gave him the name for this temple (Unification Temple for the World Peace) at 7:00 pm on Oct. 12, 2008, and it is the Cheon Bok Gyeong: Heavenly Blessing Palace. He said that the time has come when the top leaders from the world will come to our service.

According to him, he started to meet officials of the local cities, and could see a change in them. At this point, he has only 4,000 delegates but it will be 210,000 in the future. He said with confidence that that number (210,000) is not a one-time event but at every Sunday Service, where the top leaders from the world will visit our temple including Korean president.

He said that the True Parents had said that to establish the temple in Father's homeland is the ultimate responsibility for all the Unificationists in the world. He also emphasized that it is our mission in front of True Parents to make the temple which can hold 210,000 people, and prove the theory of Resurrection in the Unification Principle by the year 2013. According to him, this is the utmost filial piety we can show to True Parents, and we must achieve what has been prophesied during True Parents' time. He also said we should not take the same path of the Israelite who fell down to the Canaanites, but instead to victoriously go forward.

He said he is a quiet person by nature, but after having received this heavenly mission, he became a passionate and even crazy person for that purpose with enthusiasm and great hope. He asked earnestly that all Blessed families in the world must have the true ownership doing their responsibility to complete the ideal of establishing the temple, which was followed by his prayer.

After Hung Jin Nim's speech, Rev. Chang Shik Yang explained how Elder Nam Soo Kim, moxa cauterist, got connected to our movement and shared episodes in his coming to Kona this time.

Welcome Remarks:
Yeon Ah Nim:

We are hoping you had a wonderful last week, and we are also praying for you to have the best in this coming week. We are always honored to have you here in this Sanctuary, and for those who are joining with us via the Internet, we are welcoming you as well. Welcome brothers and welcome sisters.

Hyung Jin Nim:

Welcome brothers and sisters. Today we have a very, very special service. I get too excited when I think about it. So I can't think about it right now; but it's coming, it's coming. Today I want to share with you from Cheon Seong Gyeong, and here Father says, "We are historical pioneers. The pioneer must break through difficult surroundings, and advance with a prepared attitude toward a hopeful tomorrow."

This is one of the very most inspirational, and I think, one of the most hopeful passages in this section. To understand that we are historical pioneers, to understand that we have historical significance, that's going to come out in the sermon. I'm not going to talk about it now. I'm not going to talk about it now, but it's going to come. And that the pioneer has to break through the difficult surroundings and advance with a prepared attitude. Notice that: A prepared attitude towards a hopeful tomorrow.

Brothers and sisters, it is always so important to live our lives with that "prepared attitude for a hopeful tomorrow." That is to say that I am already preparing now for a better tomorrow. I am already waiting, expecting, and readying myself, preparing myself, for that hopeful tomorrow. I am not doing that yesterday or tomorrow, I am doing that today. I am preparing myself to receive those blessings and to be able to share them as well.

Brothers and sisters, before we start service, I always want to remind you; let's begin with the right mind set. Let's see ourselves from these eyes, from True Parents' eyes, from Heavenly Father's eyes. We see that we are historical figures, pioneers; we are not just here for filler, or taking up space. We are here with a purpose and a mission, and we have value. We have infinite value, cosmic value, and unique value. Whenever the world tells us that we don't, or tells us that we are unworthy, etc., we have to remind ourselves of quotes like this. We have to remind ourselves of the great providential value that we have.

I've been asked to speak a little slower, so I am trying to increase my providential value by speaking just a little slower, so that you can understand me. I have a tendency of going a little too fast, but I am going to try to contain myself today and really try to share the words and the ideas in a digestible speed.

Brothers and sisters, whenever we come into service, let us remember that we are here not just to watch service, to observe, but to truly participate; to attend True Parents and God in this beautiful sanctuary, on this beautiful autumn day, when the blue sky is showering us with its blueness, (Laughter) very poetic.

Brothers and sisters, we want to welcome you once again to the sanctuary. Let's have a great service, and let's return the glory to God and True Parents today. Welcome once again.

Meditation:

Brothers and sisters, as we always begin, let us prepare our mind, body and brain. Let's prepare our body.

Let us reach our hands down towards the earth. Let us lift the Universal Prime Energy that surrounds us, breathing in, and as we pass our beating hearts, our living hearts, let us breathe out and raise our hands to the Heavens today and truly stretch, stretch our faith. Let's receive what God wants to give us today; His love, His compassion, His peace. Breathing in, and as we pass our living heart, breathing out, and once again, stretching towards the ground, receiving the energy of the ground, or the Universal Prime Energy, breathing in, as we pass our living hearts, breathing out, and really stretching towards the Heavens today, really stretching our bodies, our minds, our faith today. Let's receive God's peace, His wisdom, His strength, etc. Breathing in, and as we pass our hearts, let us deeply breathe out.

I invite you to take a seat, and let's sit at the front of our pews, where we can keep our backs straight, and where we can breathe deeply and normally. Let us straighten our back and prepare ourselves; prepare our minds.

I invite you to close your eyes. Let us now visualize not this sanctuary, but a beautiful autumn day, just like this. We are walking in the forest; we can see a beautiful covering of maple leaves that are on the floor. As we walk we can hear our footsteps on top of those maple leaves. When we look up towards the canopy, we can see brilliant colors. The leaves have turned orange, and reds. We can hear the wind rustling through the leaves. We can see the tree branches waving gently, greeting us this day. And as we are surrounding ourselves in this beautiful autumn day, the clear blue sky above, the soft ground beneath, let us walk slowly and gently, mindful of each step that we take, each peaceful step.

And as we continue to walk, let us gently stop on that path; let us face towards the canopy, look up towards the canopy and even in that image, let us close our eyes. Let us feel the soft wind, gazing on our face; we can feel the beautiful sunlight that is coming through the canopy, warm, on this very cool autumn day. And in that place, in that natural created creation, let us breathe in deeply, and in our hearts, let us say, "I am alive." And let us exhale deeply, and in our hearts, let us say, "Thank you."

Second inhalation, as we breathe in, in our hearts, "I am alive," breathing out, as we breathe out, gently, "Thank you." One more time, final inhalation, "I am alive," breathing out deeply and naturally, "Thank you."

Wherever we may go, and whenever the seasons may change in our lives, let us always remember that God and True Parents are with us, every single step of the way. That they are directing our paths, and that they are lighting our path, and our direction for our future.

Let us gather our hearts in prayer.

Hyung Jin Nim's Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day that You have bestowed upon us. Father, You have given us this amazing day. Father, You bestow Your true love, Your true life and Your true lineage upon us. Father, when we remember that we are children that You have waited for, for six thousand years, Heavenly Father, let us never forget that incredible value; let us never forget that incredible meaning; let us never forget that incredible purpose, for which You have sent us here.

Let us truly be Your hands and Your feet in this world. Let us live the blessed life with our families, with our communities and extend that blessing to others in this world.

Father, we know that You have prepared people in our paths, that we are to help, and to protect. We pray that we may truly be the stewards, those responsible, blessed people, that can extend that protection, that help. Father, let us truly be those sons and daughters, who can bring so much joy in this world and truly live up to our God-given potential.

Heavenly Father, thank You once more for this day that You have blessed upon us. Let us see ourselves continually moving towards our hopeful future. Let us see ourselves improving each day, in maturity, in strength, Father, in wisdom, in grace, in love. Let us expand our horizons and expand our hearts, so that we may truly embody Your goodness here on this earth.

Thanking You so much, we pray with a truly grateful heart, and everlasting love. We know You are with us. We pray that You will be with everybody here joining us in the sanctuary or around the world on this very day. Bless those families, bless those blessed people; and, Father, truly let us truly live that blessed life and extend that blessing to the world. Thank You so much.

We pray these things together, as central blessed families, in the name of Moon Hyung Jin kachong (family), a central blessed family, Aju.

Interesting Story:

Brothers and sisters, you know, before we always start, we like to start with something a little, little interesting. And here is a story I heard. Somebody sent this along. There are three proofs that Jesus was a woman! Yes, three proofs that Jesus was a woman. Number 1) Jesus had to feed a crowd at a moment's notice where there was no food. Number 2) He kept trying to get the message of love across to a bunch of men, who just didn't get it. And Number 3) Even dead, he had to get up, because there was more work for him to do.

Brothers and sisters, give it up. Let's stand on up. Mums, do you know what I'm talking about? Oh, my God!

Right hand up; left hand on our heart

True Parents Declaration

These are my True Parents, the eternal King and Queen of Peace, and liberator of God's heart. They have saved me from my past. They have blessed my future, and they give me true love, forgiveness, and happiness today, and I choose to receive it. My mind is awake, my heart is open wide, and from this moment, I change forever. In my name, Aju

Main Sermon:

Brothers and sisters, today I would like to talk to you about creating a clear vision for our lives. In particular I feel that this is my own testimony. I'd like to share my own testimony here. In order to live the blessed life, we must be able to create a clear vision for our lives. And too many people live their lives without a vision for themselves. "I'm just too busy," or "I'll leave it up to God," or "Wherever the river of my life will flow, I'll just follow that along."

But in order to fulfill the blessed life and to live up to our God-given potential, we must also do our five-percent. We have to have a vision for our lives, prepare that vision, a vision that we can see; that we can feel, that we can visualize, where we can really feel that we are actualizing that dream. You see, that vision gives us a sense of purpose in our lives, a sense of mission and a sense of incredible meaning when we connect it to God and to True Parents.

Every service we begin preparing our minds, our bodies and our breath with visualization practice. And the practice of visualization is a very powerful tool. In visualization we are not just watching a scene, like an observer watching a beautiful scene, but we are participating in that scene. We are feeling the grass with our feet; we are hearing the sounds, feeling the wind, almost as if we are there. We are seeing those beautiful leaves, we are feeling ourselves participating, actually experiencing that scene. And one of the keys to visualization is actually trying to experience that place or event, as if you were there, is trying to visualize the details and particularly the feelings and emotions that you would feel if you were actually in that place.

When we moved to Headquarters Church, Father gave us a tremendous vision that was unheard of in the history of Unificationism, unheard of. He first gave us the very clear goal of creating a 20,000 member church. But at that time I couldn't feel that vision, honestly speaking. We looked into the Divine Principle, because we couldn't understand where this vision was coming from. And we went to search where the transition period would occur; where there would be a course of wilderness into a course of settlement.

And we found it in the story of Moses. During the wilderness course Moses and the Israelites had to bring around the Tabernacle, which inside had the Ten Commandments, that God had given the Israelites. But after entering Canaan, the Promised Land, the Israelites were to construct the Temple of God, where God could permanently dwell, where His roots could permanently dwell and filter down into the descendants and history; where all of His people could dwell and bring peace to the world.

We understand that this was all supposed to be the national foundation for the coming of Christ. But we see and understand from the Principle perspective of the providential history, that when the Israelites moved into Canaan, the providence went from Moses to Joshua, and basically, simply put, the first generation, Moses, could not come into that promised land. Basically, the second generation moved into that land of Canaan, but they didn't construct that Temple. They didn't construct the permanent structure. And so what happened was... in the principled perspective we see that the people eventually slowly became more secular, and they fell into faithlessness. And the providence was prolonged 2,000 years until Christ!

When we heard this story, we realized that this has great significance for us. On August 17th, 2008, all of a sudden, in Hoon Dok Hae, Father was talking about the temple, and he was saying, "20,000 church? No, not 20,000 church, 210, 000 temple!" Oh, my God, brothers and sisters, I went to spirit world on that day. You see, Father explained to us, twice now, that this temple, that he is calling the 210,000 Unification Peace Temple, will be the New Jerusalem. It will be the third temple of God. King Solomon built the temple 957 years before Christ, and then Cyrus rebuilt it, and then Herod tried to preserve it, but again it was destroyed, by the Romans.

For 2,000 years in history that temple of God has not been here on this earth. And Father has told us that this will be the start of an actual Cheon Il Guk in this world. When we look at the other places we understand that this temple should have been built in Jerusalem, but when we go to Jerusalem and we see where the temple mount is, brothers and sisters, there are two important religious sites on that temple mount, Al Aksa mosque and Dome of the Rock mosque. If a temple would be built right there, it would literally erupt into a World War Three.

So, of course, we looked at all the other nations, but we understand that the Peace Temple that Father explained must be built in a land where there is peace in the history, where there is no colonization or conquering of other nations. And of course, from a principled perspective, we understand that that is the Fatherland That is why True Father came to this nation.

True Father has told us to achieve this goal by January 13th, 2013. When I heard this, it was so impossible for me to visualize this. It was so hard to get a picture of this in my mind. Are we just to be a big mega church here in Korea, competing with big Christian churches or big religious institutions? Just another mega church? Maybe Unification mega church, but a big one. I mean, just another mega church.

And I had so many sleepless nights thinking about this issue. What will this Temple signify? What will this Temple represent?

And one day the spirit world began to move, and I had this dream where Young Jin hyung came to me. He came to me in this dream, and he said, "RESURRECTION CHAPTER!" And then my little boy came to me in that dream, and he said, in the dream, "Appa, can you tell me again the story about the Resurrection Chapter?"

I was about to fall asleep again. I had to get up in about one hour to get to the 2:30 morning training, and so I was literally dozing off again. But then I started hearing in the dream so many voices that were saying, "Resurrection Chapter! Look at the Resurrection Chapter!!" That got me up very quick. So I got up, and I ran to the Principle. What is in the Resurrection Chapter? I looked at Chapter 5, Section 3, in the Resurrection Chapter in the DP. And this chapter is the chapter on returning resurrection. We see that the Messiah will come and will be aided by the spirit world to unite the religious traditions, and that the Messiah comes as the central figure to all religions, to unite all religions.

For Christianity he is the returning Lord, the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent, etc. For Buddhism he is the Maitreya Buddha. In Confucianism he is the True Man. In Islam he is the Mahdi. We see this kind of meaning embedded in the Resurrection Chapter.

When I saw this vision in the Resurrection Chapter, I realized that this is an amazing vision. But I also realized that for so many decades anyone who has taught the Principle has felt saddened when lecturing on this chapter, "When will this chapter come to pass?!" This chapter prophesies that when the Messiah comes this will happen, that there will be a day when the religions are united, around a central figure. Even myself, I struggled with this issue for years!!

When I studied the world's religions, when I participated in those religious communities I struggled with this so heavily, "How is it that we will actually bring unity of the religious traditions?" Up until now we've had many, many inter-religious conferences; and during those conferences I was praying, doubting even, and even asking, "How is this going to bring what this chapter teaches?"

And when I saw those conferences, I realized that, of course, they create dialogue, they create conversation. But they build horizontal relationships and not the vertical relationships that are centered on True Parents, where the religions actually attend True Parents, as it is prophesied in that chapter, where the religions actually become a part of our Unification family and contribute to our Unification community and raise their kids in our Unification community.

See, we did these conferences where our communities, for over 20 or 30 years, were burdened by 90% or 90 plus % of all the costs. Our members, particularly in Japan, had to burden that cost. And this could not convince me that that was the model that we were being told of in the Resurrection Chapter. That was not enough.

You know, we do multiple services a week; we'll be doing literally eight services a week pretty soon. So in doing services I have been deeply inspired at how much it has influenced the character of the movement. There is a new change, a feeling of change in the movement, particularly in Korea. I've received so many things from across the different continents, too, that are saying that many churches are trying to rebuild the environment in their churches, rebuild the worship services. But honestly, in my heart I always felt that something was lacking.

I grew up in high school with African American friends, so I love the gospel tradition. I love the gospel music, and we hear that beautiful gospel music here with the Two Rivers Choir! Brothers and sisters, give it up for Two Rivers Choir. We hear that beautiful gospel music every week. I love that type of tradition and worship style. And we showcase that here in our English service.

In my own life I also attended a Catholic University for two years, Fairfield University in Connecticut, a Jesuit school, before transferring to Harvard. One of my friends is a professor in philosophy. He is one of the head priests now in the Boston priesthood. I also spent time in a nunnery where I attended mass everyday with Bishop Stallings, Rev. Doo, etc., participating in worship in the Catholic tradition.

Of course everyone knows that I also extensively studied Buddhism. I have many dear and close monk friends from many different traditions of Buddhism. And I have recently spent time in temples in Japan, Tibet, and China, in Korea, etc. And all these traditions are such an integral part of me, as a Unificationist, in my own walk with the Lord.

But with just the gospel style service that we see here in the American service -- significant part of me -- I always felt that there is something more, that we have to continue to expand. So we did something very, very interesting here at Headquarters Church. Last weekend we did the forth service on Sunday, that's at 5:00 in the afternoon, the fourth service on Sunday. We did the Peace and Blessing Worship Service.

And that is basically a Catholic Unificationist service, where we had the progression that showed the old, the new and the completed testament age; and shows how True Parents are connected to and completing the Biblical providential history.

In this particular service there is also a mass-like service, a completed testament mass-like service. This weekend, on Sunday at this service, Bishop Milingo will, of course, be coming to participate, and we want him to participate, hopefully, more in the actual worship service.

I am also developing a Buddhist Unificationist service. In the service we will have traditional instruments, the bell, the drum, the gong, the bamboo flute, etc. We will also have mantra chanting, and the name Cham Pumo Nim (True Parents). And a special tea ceremony will be done by a professional tea master here in Korea.

At first I didn't know why I was being compelled to go beyond this type of worship. But then, of course, I looked back at my own training in the different religious traditions, my own preparation for this kind of responsibility; and I realized that I was actually preparing for the 210,000 Unification Temple!

I want you to imagine, to visualize, the first service: 10,000 plus Christian Unificationists flooding in and they are singing with the Tworivers Choir, bringing praise to God. Then in the second service 10,000 Catholic Unificationists come in, and they are attending the Completed Testament Mass, singing Gregorian chanting to God and True Parents. And at the third service there are the Buddhist Unificationists flooding in, and they are chanting Cham Pumo Nim as the Maitreya Buddha. And in the forth service the Muslim Unificationists come in and offer Islamic prayers.

Here we will in reality, just in ceremony, actualize the vision of the unity of religions, vertically centered on the returning Lord, prophesied in Chapter 5 of the Resurrection Chapter. Brothers and sisters, give it up for God and True Parents. (Clapping and cheering)

This will not be the one time expensive event of the past; these will be weekly worship services, weekly services, where 210 plus thousand people gather in the middle of Seoul, the capital of the Fatherland, to give praise to God and True Parents. This will not be like another church, because there will be no other church like this on the face of the planet! There will be no religion that can exemplify this on the face of this world. And this Unification Temple will be evidence and testimony to True Parents as the returning Lord. It will be a model for the religions becoming a unified family, centered on True Parents; and will be the beginning of the Chung Il Guk nation.

You see, brothers and sisters, this is very clear now in my mind. This is a very clear vision in my mind. One of the key points that I really want to emphasize is having a clear vision in our minds. You know, when we first started, when Father had first given us this mission, we could not visualize it. How is it going to be different from other religious institutions? How is it going to be unique? How is it going to actually fulfill any of the things we have been teaching? Is it just going to be another mega-church? But we realized, as time was passing, as we were developing and increasing the church community, developing the structures, developing the infra-structure, etc... everything began to become clearer. The direction became clearer. The possible realization of the 210,000 temple, the Temple of God, became more and more clear.

You see, the message that we want to give to you all, here at Headquarters Church and across the world, the vision now for the start of Chung Il Guk, is extremely clear. And it is beginning at the 210, 000 Unification Peace Temple of God. We will be able, of course, to have enormous social, political and cultural authority, but more importantly, we will be able to exemplify and exhibit tremendous spiritual accomplishment and authority. We will show that we accept all the religions; that all of the religions are part of our Unification family, that there are not just conversations or dialogues. These religions are part of our Unification family.

And now we can see that. I can literally visualize this in my mind. I can see it in my prayers; I see it in my dreams. My God, I can't sleep nowadays. I see this in my dreams, I can feel it, and I can already hear the sounds of the beautiful Tworivers choir singing in that temple, with thousands of Christian Unificationists, Gregorian chanting, thousands of Catholic Unificationists, Buddhist chanting with thousands of Buddhist Unificationists, Islamic prayers that will be emanating from these halls.

In this movement now we have a very clear vision; and not only a clear vision, but also a very clear numerical goal, 210,000 Unification Temple. We will do everything here to achieve this victory for God and True Parents, and for our Unification family. There will be no temple like this on the face of the earth, no religious institution on the face of the earth, that can do this.

It will truly be the temple where God will dwell. When people think of the Unification Church, they will think of the 210,000 Unification Peace Temple, and nobody will be able to deny the amazing reality of True Parents' role as the coming Lord, as the Messiah, as the true Buddha, etc. And all the blood, sweat, and tears of the first generation, of everyone who committed, sacrificed and invested their lives to build this foundation as far as it has come, all that effort, that merit, will not be in vain.

See, we as the second generation, here in Korea, we're very committed now; more and more people are getting very committed. We are not going to do just as those Israelites did in Moses' course. We are not going to fall into faithlessness, and become secular. We are going to retain our roots, but we are also going to expand them. We are going to be able to bring in those different communities and truly actualize the vision that is prophesied in the Divine Principle. And now that we have a crystal clear vision for our future, for the year 2013, for that day that True Father has given us, the whole movement is moving towards it.

We have a very clear vision of what has to be substantialized by that date. Because we have that crystal clear vision now, we can do the visualization, we can actually see the things happening. Because here at the Headquarters Church we are already preparing the Catholic service -- and also the Buddhist service will be coming up very soon -- we already feel that we are preparing to do all the work that will be required to do such a thing.

Of course, it will not stop there. We know that this will be a model and an example for all different churches in all our other mission countries; where the mission countries will be able to come and to learn. They will be able to train in those different realms, and then go back to their mission countries. When we now have this clear mission, this clear vision, we can now see it, feel it. We can actually feel the emotional content of us being there. We can actually envision and understand its providential significance. We here in Korea, and also around the world, in Japan -- this is the first time I am sharing this internationally -- we are now gathering to be able to truly make this come to pass.

Brothers and sisters, it is so true that having a clear vision in our lives is one of the keys to living the blessed life. But that blessed life cannot stop just at our own lives. We as a Unification family have a duty and a responsibility to those who have come before us, to truly be able to accomplish the task for which they have truly given their lives. Here we truly are working for each and every step in that direction. Every single organization that we are responsible for is moving in that direction, so that the 210,000 Peace Temple of God will be actualized here in the Fatherland.

We have also reported to Father that once that land, the temple site is determined, we will go to Jerusalem. Father gave the order, many years ago, to move Jerusalem to Korea. And so we will actually go to Jerusalem, and we will pray and move the land to Korea, the providential spirit and the history there. And then we will also be traveling to different saints' countries, Nazareth, and the birthplace of Mohamed, the birthplace of the Buddha, Confucius, etc., to bring those blessings and merits into the Peace Temple, where the Unification tradition can truly be at the vanguard and center of the world peace movement.

For me it is so clear that through the practice of the services and the worship spaces we will be able to create the real example for those different traditions coming into one. Those traditions of course retain their own religiosity and their own religious heritage. They understand that we are inter-religious in our Unification Family, but moving together towards a common vision and a common purpose.

When we see this now, when we envision it now, and when we look at the Resurrection Chapter, we can truly see that this will be the model that will allow us to accomplish not only building horizontal connections, but actually building religious communities that are centered on God and True Parents. When we think of this, brothers and sisters, it is clear in our minds, and we know that we will achieve this, because we have a very clear vision, a very clear visualized goal, a very clear goal.

I use this very personal example in my own life to show that in our lives it is so important to have a vision that we are moving towards, to create a large vision for yourself as a blessed central family, to truly see ourselves in that historical pioneer perspective, and to move towards a life of blessing that God has blessed us to live.

See, I truly believe that, if we are able to create a clear vision for ourselves in our lives, a vision that we can actually visualize, and a vision that we can actually see and go into and feel, then I believe that as we move towards that vision, that God will provide the ways and the method for us to slowly move towards that vision, and make it a reality.

Brothers and sisters, for us that means truly to create, by 2013, the Peace Temple, where all the Abrahamic traditions -- not only the Abrahamic traditions, but also the other traditions of the world -- can come together and worship together as one Unification Family.

When we truly think about this, I really do believe that this will be the most amazing offering that we can offer as our Unification Family to True Parents, the true prophesied vision that will come to pass, here in the Fatherland of Korea. That for me is one of the most exciting things that I can even think about. It is so important for me to be able to work for this and invest everything I have to try to make this come to reality.

True Father has given us this mission, and we will accomplish it by 2013. We will work our way to achieving that goal of the 210,000 Unification Peace Temple for God and True Parents where all the religions will come together, where the Resurrection Chapter will be able to be evidence of our Unification Family, of the tremendous power and of the tremendous spiritual merit of our community.

Brothers and sisters, I do believe that if we do move forward with a clear vision in our lives, we will find ourselves with more victory. We will find ourselves with more illumination, and we will find ourselves with more peace; living that blessed life, and being that blessing to others.

Brothers and sisters, if you can receive this message -- I know it's more like a testimony -- but if you can receive this testimony, then brothers and sisters, let's give it up for God and True Parents. (Clapping and cheering)

Anybody from the Catholic tradition: Our Sunday service, forth service, at 5:00 pm, you have to come and see it. It is something special to see. Our Unificationists have not seen anything like this, and the Buddhist service is coming soon.

Final Meditation:

Brothers and sisters, let us gather our hearts for our final meditation. Let us now gather our hearts for our final Homeland meditation practice. Let us close our eyes and now visualize, not this sanctuary, but walking on a beautiful meadow. We can feel the soft grass beneath our feet. With each step that we take, we can see beautiful flowers that are blooming around our feet.

With each step we can see these blessings that are shared on this world. As we look towards the left, we'll see a beautiful stream that is meandering down. We can see beautiful birds playing in that stream. We can hear the sound of that beautiful stream. As we move forward, we see a beautiful forest in front. And as we look up ahead we will see a beautiful, blue sky, vast and limitless. As we walk ahead, we will see True Parents there, waiting for us.

Let us go before True Parents, and be seated. True Father, with his right hand, True Mother with her left hand, place their hands on our heads, and give us their blessing. If there are things that we wish to confess to True Parents, let us report them at this time, here in our hearts. Let us receive their blessing; and let us feel that energy of the blessing flow through us like a wave of energy, from the top of our head all the way down to the bottom of our feet. We can feel each cell in our physical body becoming blessed and healthy. We can see our spirit body becoming illuminated, shining in thousands of directions.

As we receive our blessing, let us gently breathe in and in our hearts say, "I am alive," and as we breathe out old life in our hearts, let us say, "thank you." As we breathe in new life in our hearts, let us say, "I am alive." As we breathe out old life, let us say, "thank you." Final breath, as we breathe in new life, "I am alive;" as we breathe out old life, "thank you."

Let us always remember that, wherever we may go, God and True Parents are with us, directing our paths, leading our way and guiding us towards our future. Let us gather our hearts in prayer.

Final Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day that you have blessed upon us. Father, we are truly thankful for being able to be in this place as Unification family. But Father, up until now we have walked a course of indemnity that our parents have walked. They have been persecuted. Our first generation has been persecuted and ridiculed for following True Parents. But Father, in this Age of Liberation and release, complete release, where we can truly live the blessed life that you have blessed us to live, Father, let us truly be able to fulfill the purpose and the mission for which you have sent us to this world.

Heavenly Father, on this day we wish to pray with all of our families here and across the world, Father, for the Resurrection Chapter, where all the religions will become united in the coming of the Second Advent, Father, a promise and a prophecy, heard so many times, that we have disbelieved and doubted so many times; but Father, we now have a clear vision for this.

Father, True Father has given us that mission, that clear numerical vision, 210,000 World Peace Temple, where nobody will be able to deny the Unification tradition, Father, where nobody will be able to deny that we can bring together the world's religions, that we can create peace between various traditions and religious heritages; where we can truly bring unity and a model for an ideal community in this world.

Heavenly Father, for so many years we have truly been waiting for this time; and, Father, we know that, as we prepare for this and as we move towards it with one heart and one mind, Father, we know we will bring this to pass. We will bring this glory before Heaven and True Parents. And Father, while our True Parents are here on this earth, Father, we will see the day where thousands and tens of thousands of Christians and Catholics and Buddhists can honor and worship together with us, as a Unification family.

Father, we are so thankful for that vision that you have given to us. Father, we know that it is not one person's vision. Father, we truly are grateful for that prophecy, and that at this time we will be truly able to substantialize that here on earth.

Father, please bless us as we walk this course for the next couple of years to the 2013 date that True Parents have given us for Cheon Il Guk. Father, we truly pray that you will invest in us, that You will give us your ability and your strength, that You will work Your history through us, and that You will work Your providence through us. Father, give us Your strength, give us Your confidence, Father, give us Your love, and Your unfailing heart. Father, let us be faithful in our actions and in our lives. Truly, we thank You once more for all the blessings You have bestowed upon us. And Father, we pray that Your abundant blessings be with all of our Unification families here and across the world, with all who are joining us in this worship service. Father, be with those families, bless those families, and let us truly show the world that we are the most incredible religious tradition that the world has ever seen.

Brothers and sisters, let us offer our prayers to Heavenly Father this day. We pray these things, as Central Blessed Families, in our names, together as one. Aju

Assistant Pastor's final Benediction

Brothers and sisters let us pray:

Father, thank You for lifting us up today, so that we can see as You see, and we can understand as You understand. Father, You have waited so long for this time in human history, where Your children can truly come together in one family, centered on true love, true life and the lineage that has been blessed upon us by True Parents. We are sorry that we haven't really seen the changes around us that are happening every day, as the momentum of your movement picks up and drives forward.

It was not too long ago that it was just one man in North Korea, who had such a vision, but now through his blood, sweat and tears, our True Parents, and brothers and sisters everywhere… there is a momentum picking up, as Your providence moves forward. There is great strength and conviction.

So thank you, Heavenly Father, for sharing Your vision with us. May our vision be Your vision, and may we incorporate it in our lives; and may we life our lives with the confidence that You, the Almighty Living God, are helping us to build the Kingdom of God here on earth. Thank You so much for this day, and this is our new determination, to really see that victory, in the year 2013, together with our True Parents.

And in the names of all brothers and sisters around the world, we pray these things, as Central Blessed Families, Aju.
