Now that the first anniversary of Father's ascension is getting closer, you must become first- and second-generation members that prepare for the future more urgently than at any other time. If you do not prepare, your lives will become more difficult. Until now, many second-generation members have been more preoccupied with how they should live instead of how they should lead a life based on the church. It is time to educate second-generation members that can think of the future of our church and take charge of a new future. During Father's time, Father took all the responsibility. The generation that had a direct relationship with Father is now in their sixties, seventies and eighties. The gap between them and young second-generation members is too wide.

I must put everything into order and establish the tradition. During the past ten months, Father's sermons, which are the guidelines for our lives, were compiled. It was prepared in the same way an unpolished stone is trimmed into a radiant gem. All the sermons and speeches Father gave after 2000 have been organized; Cheon Seong Gyeong has been readied and published with Pyeonghwa Gyeong. Champumo Gyeong will be ready sometime this year.

I founded the Universal Peace Academy, being aware of the pressing need to foster middle-level leaders in their thirties, forties and fifties. Thorough preparations are necessary in everything. We must be able to settle down more as each year passes. The United States must also quickly work on fostering second-generation members that are revived and filled with youthful spirit, so that they become young leaders representative of the future. We need young second-generation members as future leaders that are dedicated and invest effort with clear goals based on God's will.

True Parents conducted the providence in the United States for thirty-four years not only for the U.S. but also for the global providence. Hence, America must take the lead and cooperate to bring salvation to nations around the world. Leaders, however, could not understand Father's intentions and put True Parents in positions where they had to overcome many adversities and face many critical moments. The United States must become a country that you can boast of in front of the world. The eldest son must embrace younger brothers. Father started this important providence at the age of forty. You must be grateful, become a hundred percent united with True Parents and be united with God's will. Leaders must treat members like their own children; only by doing so can the members become interested. You must be able to teach the tradition of living for others' sake, living for the world, to your children and grandchildren. I hope to see swift action by our American members. In the future, speaking Korean will become compulsory for leaders. Also, members' competency in using the internet must quickly improve.

First generation members have taken the lead until now, even at the risk of having to sacrifice themselves, with True Father at their center. In the same way, second-generation members must become one with True Mother, completely invest themselves at the front line of the providence, become victorious and stand strong in glory. First-generation members must provide second-generation members with their wholehearted support, so that we all become victors in front of Heaven. First- generation members must lead. We can only go forward.

We are now the leading people in this Cheon Il Guk age, with True Parents at the center for the first time in history. If first- and second-generation members unite and lead lives of gratitude toward Heaven and True Parents at all times, the environment can also be put in order. Second-generation members' responsibility is important. I am planning to select Seonghwa Students from each of our church regions to join the True grandchildren in workshops starting from next year. 

God's providence of salvation after the Fall was painful

Welcome. This place is a very important providential center in Father's providential history, and a center connecting the east, west, south and north within the Pacific Rim providence. Before I start explaining this point, you need to understand that God's providence of salvation after the Fall was painful. It was a difficult historical time. According to the principles by which God conducted the Creation... Seeing humankind multiply in great numbers caused God infinite sorrow and pain.

Under those circumstances, God still chose a lonely person, set up a people and opened a way to save a nation and the world through the four-thousand-year history of the providence of salvation. Then he sent one person in charge of completing the work. However, what did the Israelites do? They could not follow him. The person that was supposed to become the center within God's providential history ended up going to the spiritual world without being able to complete what he had come for; hence, he had no alternative but to say that he was going to return.

The Israelites, however, were unaware and a tremendous indemnity came to their descendants. The act was an enormous sin among sins; yet, Jewish people were not aware of this. Their future could not be easy as a result. Presently, the total number of Jews equals only two percent of the number of Christians. They are still unaware that their being the chosen people and the center of the providence has all come to an end. When Jesus said he was coming back, he meant that he was coming back through the foundation of Christianity. Two thousand years of providential history has passed; hence, it is now time for it to be revealed. It is time for it to be revealed. That is why Father conducted the providence, focusing on making Korea God's homeland for twelve years in the 2000s.

One must not lightly think that it will simply happen because Father said so. Because Father spoke about this, the people that are on earth must successfully realize it at all costs. You must achieve it. You have the responsibility.

It was during the era of the Roman Empire that historically human civilization was prepared to receive the Messiah, wasn't it? If Jesus had used the Roman Empire's foundation and had appeared as humankind's parent or as the Messiah, it would have been easy to expand to a global level through the Roman territory. The history of human civilization passed through the Italian peninsula, the continent, and then an island nation; it then passed through a continent again, an island nation and finally entered a peninsula.

I fence, a path to go onto the world through the Italian peninsula opened. There's a saying that says the sun never sets on the British Empire, which was centered on an island. Right? Britain also began a path heading toward the world.

We were supposed to attend the Heavenly Parent and finish what our ancestors hadn't concluded. However, this is not possible through the power of man alone. Even though man had been shown several times that the salvation, happiness or peace of humanity cannot come true through the power of man alone, man has not been able to understand this.

Christianity conquered the world through an island nation's civilization. However, when Christianity became corrupt, Puritans started immigrating to a new region, the Americas.

After the course returned to a continent again, America could rise to the central position through WWI and WWII. When this happened, the victorious nations helped the defeated nations for the sake of world peace. A good example is how the United States helped Japan. Instead of asking for compensation from the defeated country, the victorious county helped it instead.

In other words, because the time has come for the parents to come, all countries have become brothers and sisters. Now, as restored siblings, we must attend True Parents. True Parents must be revealed and attended. Do you understand what this means? We feel both grateful and ashamed for being in a position where we can actually fulfill this responsibility. Is this a joy or a misfortune?

If you can become ancestors who are able to accomplish joyful and grateful acts, complete everything within your generation, and enable your descendants to live in a peaceful, happy world; this is, to live in Cheon Il Guk, how honorable would that be?

What is there for you to lose from the standpoint of the individual at this precise time? Is there anything you want to hide from Heaven? It is the same with children. Children want to boast about what they consider the most valuable in front of their parents. Six of my grandchildren came here. One day, they visited a coffee farm and roasted some coffee. The next day, they attached their photographs to the coffee they each had roasted and brought it to me saying, "Grandma, please have this."

The children's hearts must become your hearts. When you have done something you want to boast about, or consider a miraculous deed, you do not want to keep it to yourself. You boast about it to your parents. You want to present it to them. With such a heart, you must be able to return everything to heaven without making any adjustments within your lives. That's the difference between you, who live in this era, and future generations. You are also different from those who lived before you.

I do not really know how deeply you have realized the preciousness of the position you are in. You must be grateful to your ancestors for your emergence at just the right time and age and for enabling you to live a life in attendance of True Parents. In addition, if you were leaders, the days during which you worked with True Parents will become unforgettable memories and a source of pride. Isn't that correct?

You all have many varied good aspects; yet, you must not keep them to yourselves. We are born because of our parents, and when we die, we go back to our parents. Hence, you must not hide your good traits as a result of looking at them individualistically.

In the 1990s, the state of affairs relating to the unification of Korea was quite serious. True Father, who was conducting an anti-communist movement and a unification movement, met North Korea's Kim Il Sung for the sake of the unification of the homeland. He also met the USSR's Mikhail Gorbachev. He did that at the risk of his life. He was the central figure in all respects and the central person had to resolve those circumstances.

From now on, you must not limit yourselves to just knowing. Father invested in all these areas for you and for the salvation of humanity. Hence, if you put Heaven in a disadvantageous position, you will face difficulties in the end.

You must know this. That is why the Pacific Rim era began based on Hawaii. Regarding Hawaii, we find that it is located right in the middle between the East and West, between Asia and the United States.

That is why I plan to conduct education for second-generation members here. In the Pacific Rim era, Japan must become the center and embrace Asia and the world. Japan must educate the world.

When a strong person nurtures determination, the determination to become something, desiring to become the best in a field, that person is likely to achieve it.

Even when it comes to trivial issues, people in the world invest so much effort into them day and night. Can we let ourselves perform less well than they have?

Neither heaven nor earth can change. However, you are not just yourselves. Therefore, Japanese people must set some indemnity conditions. That is why you must liberate your ancestors and forefathers.

After you liberate your ancestors, we must make an environment free from all indemnity and witness with all our might. You must witness with maximum effort and at the risk of your lives. That is why I have made Cheon Seong Gyeong and Pyeonghwa Gyeong which is like the essence.

Do not forget this. Have grateful hearts! Please become people that invest effort day and night with the determination to help people, even if it is one single person, learn more about True Parents. You must live a life of practice. Do you understand? Will you do that?

When your hearts are down, please watch the Foundation Day video and recharge yourselves. You must be able to produce descendants that are more talented than you and more capable in all aspects before your lives on earth come to an end.

This path is the only way to repay some of your debts to True Parents. Isn't that right? How can we beautifully pass down this tradition for eternity? Everything depends on you. We cannot allow any unnecessary twig in our culture. It must have no shadow. It must be transparent. You must become citizens of that type in Cheon Il Guk. Do you understand?

The kingdom of God on earth and in heaven is still a dream. However, we are in a position where we can realize it. This is how precious each one of you is; it indicates how much effort you must invest. You must live up to your faith. Do you understand?

I will educate high school graduates in Korea

I will send high school graduates to Korea and educate them. Korea saw recent rapid development through the blessings from Heaven and True Parents. Koreans must understand this heavenly providence. They must realize the heavenly truth and be grateful.

The Israelites followed an arduous course after Jesus' crucifixion, but they did not understand the reason. If Korea does not accomplish its responsibility, Korea will face difficulties.

Heaven has given us everything. We must cultivate it well. We must fulfill all responsibilities assigned to us with a heart of gratitude and return honor and nobility to Heaven and True Parents. As people who live every single day in the same era as True Parents, we must clearly realize who we are and move ahead.

We must be grateful to True Parents for making us true sons and daughters. Please fulfill your responsibilities. The reason Jews could preserve their tradition and maintain their identity until now lies in their family education system. After the crucifixion, the Israelites were unaware of indemnity.

For one world to be achieved, languages must first be unified; therefore, all blessed families and second-generation members must thoroughly learn Korean. That is why I am planning a program to select second-generation members (high school graduates) that will be eligible for full scholarships to Sun Moon University after passing certain exams. I instructed Rev. Ki Hoon Kim to conduct a national lecture tour in Korea to educate members.

We are the most blessed families

Good morning all.

True Mother has arrived in Kona this afternoon with grandchildren.

True Mother and 15 others safely arrived in Honolulu around 11 am and had a lunch in a downtown fast food restaurant and left for Kona at 4:30 pm. Many Hawaiian family members with young 2nd gens welcomed True Mother and grandchildren at the airport. It was a long journey but everyone was in high spirit.

After True Mother arrived at the King Garden, 30 members gathered and welcomed True Mother.

True Mother gave a short message as follow(s);

1. We must recognize we are the most blessed families who know the best way of Heavenly Parent and True Parents of heaven, earth and humankind.

2. The best outcome comes when we teach Divine Principle as a style of hoonduk (reading the text). But we have the essential True Parents' message books of 천성경, 평화경, 참부모경(chunseongkyung, pyunghwakyung, chambumokyung) just published. From now on, we should teach the books for all. This is very important mission for all leaders. Divine Principle, the God's revelation included until 1960, but the 3 books are until True Father's last moment message included with True Mother's message.

3. To be True Parents' Cheon Il Guk citizen, we must teach Divine Principle and 3 absolute essential books to others.(English edition will be available the end of the year or next year Foundation Day)

4. True Mother came to Kona for 3 generations education.

Rev. Sun Myung Moon opened the path to true peace in the Middle East some ten years ago or so. Even when we consider the problem between South Korea and North Korea, we realize that we have ushered in a time when we must make decisions and move into action.

Today, we see racial conflicts, religious conflicts, conflicts between political ideologies and cataclysmic changes of heaven and earth arising everywhere in the world. We are living in an era of fear, terror and conflict where hope cannot be found anywhere. However, it is also clear that you are all standing on the providential line.

When God created Adam and Eve, he wanted to give them a world of peace and happiness. A world where God is attended as the True Parents, one world with God as its center, a unified world, and a peaceful world had to be realized. However, Adam and Eve failed to unite with God during their growth process. That is why the Christian Bible says that they committed the Fall. The world we live in today is a fallen world and its owner is Satan. God was supposed to become the owner but could not obtain that position, which is why the Divine Principle says that True Parents must come.

Religious conflicts occurring in the Middle East cannot be resolved. They cannot be resolved if the people involved do not receive True Parents. Do you understand?

You are the first ones. Hence, you are obliged to shoulder certain responsibilities. Rev. Moon said there is no perfection in ignorance. You must all learn, understand and become educated.

Why do you think the Unification Church or the Family Federation for World Peace is stepping forward with the family ideal at this time? The Korean people have received innumerable blessings as a result. Rev. Moon said this is God's homeland. This country must be one that attends our Heavenly Parent. In other words, the heavenly providence that raised the people of Israel two thousand years ago has yielded fruit on the Korean Peninsula. Do you understand? You are certainly in a truly blessed position.

How this blessing will be bequeathed to our descendants and the problem as to whether we can create an environment that can be recorded in history lies in your hands. We are now opening a new age in a new providential era. Rev. Moon and even the Bible said, "Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." In other words, he has given us the responsibility through which we can stand in a position of equal authority.

Whether or not you fulfill your responsibilities lies in your hands. If you live your lives without much light or purpose as peace ambassadors, you cannot create the proper environment. God could not become our parents; instead, Satan calls himself our parents, which is why we must meet True Parents, who can liberate us.

We must be reborn through True Parents; that is the blessing. Do you understand? This is how precious it is. True Father has given us such a precious blessing, beyond price, which is why you must all be determined, move into action and live up to your faith.

How can this country become God's homeland by 2020? If this blessed people cannot fulfill their responsibility, we can no longer advance without crossing the frightening process of indemnity. Under the circumstances, what are you going to do?

Interfaith ideologies and actions are not the solution. You must clearly bear in mind that we are living in an age when we must now attend True Parents within our families and act as blessed families and citizens of Cheon Il Guk. 

We Need To Take Action for the Unification of the Korean Peninsula

"Rev. Moon opened the door to peace in the Middle East more than 10 years ago. Also, we are now at the moment when we need to make a decision and take action for the unification of the Korean peninsula. That's why I invited you here today.

When we see the world, we have racial and religious conflicts, and also conflict in political ideologies. Furthermore, we have natural disasters all over the world. We are living in the era of anxiety, fear, and struggle. But it is clear that you stand in the line of the providence.

What God wanted to give Adam and Eve after their creation is the world of peace and happiness. One unified world of peace centering on God should have been realized while attending Him as True Parent. But in the growing period, Adam and Eve couldn't reach oneness with God. Christianity describes this as the human fall. The society today is that of the fall. It's' owner is Satan. God should have been the owner but couldn't take that position. That's why our Divine Principle says that True Parents must come.

The current problem in the Middle East, which is a religious conflict, will never be solved. Without attending the True Parents, there won't be any solution for that. Do you understand? You are the one who joined first. So you have your responsibility.

Rev. Moon says that there is no perfection when you are ignorant. That's why you need to study. You need to know and receive education regarding why Unificationism, that is FFWPU, appears with the ideal of family.

Korean people received a tremendous blessing from Heaven. Rev. Moon said Korea is God's Fatherland. This nation must become the nation that attends Heavenly Parent. That means heavenly providence which raised the Israelites 2000 years ago moved to Korea to harvest fruits. Do you understand? It is crystal clear that you stand in a truly blessed position. It is all up to you how to hand on such a blessing to your descendants and create such an environment that will be recorded in history.

We are now opening the new era in the new providential history. As the Bible says, 'What you tie on earth will be tied in heaven. What you set free on earth will be set free in heaven.' Rev. Moon, who is in the spirit world, gave us the responsibility with which we can have the same authority as he has. It depends on you whether or not you accomplish this responsibility.

If you, an Ambassador for Peace, live as you wish on earth and go to the spirit world, a necessary environment won't be created. I said God hasn't been able to stand in the position of parent and Satan has taken it over. That's why you need to meet True Parents who liberate you. You should be reborn through True Parents, and that is the Blessing. Do you understand? Blessing is such a precious thing. Heaven gave you the Blessing without condition. That' why it is time for you to be determined and take action.

How will this nation be able to become God's Fatherland in 2020? When a blessed race fails to accomplish their responsibility, they can't go forward without the fearful course of indemnity. What will you do?

Mere interfaith ideas and its activities won't work. I hope you engrave in your heart that it is time to take action attending True Parents in your family as the Blessed family and the citizen of Cheon Il Guk.

We are only a couple of months away from the first anniversary of Father's Seonghwa. During this period, compared to the past, how much have you invested yourself in the work to harvest the fruits? I wanted to see you, and you need to fulfill your promise so that I can make a clear conclusion. That was what I felt when I was coming here from Changwon through Busan.

Your lifestyle should be different from the way you were before Father's Seonghwa. I know you are determined to go forward centered on Vision 2020 while investing all yourselves, but leaders and senior members should become responsible people who can harvest substantial and clear results.

You were able to have the day that Heavenly Parent and humankind had been waiting for, and received the Blessing. Father said that Korea is the fatherland of Heavenly Parent. You, while attending to Father for 40 to 50 years, must have results as the Tribal Messiah and also you should stand in the position which this nation cannot help but respect.

In Korea, you know there have been many historical figures. But they lived only for the sake of this nation. But you, who met the True Parents, are the person who lives for the sake of the world. That means your scale is bigger. While coming from Busan, I passed by the great bridge of Soon Shin Lee. Your current status is higher than his, but I wonder if you can stand in the position of the ancestors of Cheon Il Guk. I cannot help but think of this. This area is the place Father had specially offered Jeong Seong and invested his love. Therefore, those who are in charge of this place must think for 24/7 how they will establish Father's will here and bring great results. Then you must put it into practice.

There isn't much time left for us. If you spent 40 to 50 years as Unificationist, it is sure that the time given for you from now is definitely shorter than the time you had until now. I am truly curious if you are leading your life each and every day feeling like you are In the historical position as ancestors where you received the tremendous Blessing. Are you confident that you can offer this nation to Heavenly Parent within seven years? ("Yes.") 

We Must Build a Museum to Explain Everything at a Glance

Yesterday I wanted to speak in depth in Changwon but I was overcome with nostalgia after seeing Father's efforts unfold before me like a panorama.

I could not contain myself so I left out some of what I wanted to talk about.

I thought about how before your lives are through, as pupils and Blessed Families who have lived at the point in time when True Parents are on earth, you all should give back to heaven and be in the position in which you can leave something behind.

At a glance, when the people and True Parents come on the day that mankind has eagerly awaited, and that God has anticipated, and complete and fulfill providential history, and when it was said that the new era has begun, I decided that we must build a museum to explain everything at a glance.

In the future, you will truly be blessed. And with the new era and new history of Cheon Il Guk, though you may fall short, you have the special grace to be in the place where your ancestors can stand.

Also how much you followed the vertical standard with True Parents, and how you lived your life according to absolute faith, love and obedience will be recorded on earth and in your country. When I think about this, it is not an easy decision.

True Parents have pioneered everything because True Parents started a new history while on earth.

I remain living on earth after Father's ascension, so it is my job to polish our tradition so that it shines brightly and organize things from every angle. That is Father's will and my will. Now you must all make clear just who True Parents are.

You must speak and demonstrate how the unification of North and South Korea can take place because of True Parents. And we must live exemplary lives that testify to that.

So today must be different from yesterday. In the past the WFWP chairwoman said they had resolved to bring in one new member per month but is one person a month going to be enough? You must be determined to bring one person a day for this nation to be restored. This is what was said. It's the same with u all.

Save one life each day. Think about it.

You are becoming the people who can represent your ancestors. This depends on whether or not you can take responsibility for the blessed position you have received.

As someone living on earth in this era, you are in a position to receive great blessings. What status will you have in this position of having outstanding blessings in front of your ancestors and descendants? Do you understand?

True Parents are always centering on you and are with you. This is solid backing. You are not alone.

What kind of offering will you all make in front of heaven for the torch to be lit from the south and spread throughout the whole country making it a country that can fulfill its mission in just 7 years?
