I told you that to this fallen humanity, the word blessing is something that you can be reborn through thanks to the marriage blessing given by True Parents. If this fallen world is a world that has been contaminated and filled with disease then this blessed world is like the pure water, the water of life. How do you regard this idea? You as families who have received the marriage blessing, you still have responsibilities. Think about it: even if the water is pure, if it does not flow, and is standing still, what happens? It begins to rot. Even though that water is pure, it has to move. It has to move forward to create the vast ocean. This pure water of life will give new life to dead beings. This is our mission as the new tribal messiahs. This movement of new tribal messiahs will become a vast wave and it will go through Thailand and Philippines and through many Asian nations and it will reach out to Europe and North and South America and onwards towards Africa and Oceania. It is right now moving towards the great oceans. Whatever this great wave touches the once dead beings will be reborn with new life.

In this world as it is today, there is nothing from it that we can expect. The only thing that we can do for them is to let them know True Parents through us. This is how, through our families, tribes, societies and nations, they will unite with True Parents and ride this great wave and move through all the continents and the oceans. This is the only way we can create that one world under God which was longed for by our Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Heaven and earth will finally be established. For that day to arrive, all the Unificationist families around the world should unite in one mind, one body and one idea and one harmony and they should follow True Parents with absolute love, obedience and faith.

To these people of the world who are suffering like orphans, we have to tell them that we are their brothers and sisters instead of just staying idle and doing nothing. Will you stand up? Today, this time, is the time when we have to become one. We have to unite and, to this world, we have to tell them with pride that True parents have come and True Parents have done great works and that True Parents are victorious. We have to tell them that without fear! Whatever you do In the name of True Parents the entire physical and spiritual realm will be with you so what are you afraid of?

Please proclaim with pride -- let the world know that you are the proud sons and daughters of True Parents! That is the only path leading to the Heavenly Kingdom where all seven billion people should go. Only then can you become such ancestors for these people and with that in your heart I pray that all of you can become good sons and daughters and loyal subjects.

Successful Tribal Messiahs

October is a beautiful time of harvest. Blessed families, members of the Unification Church from around the world, how and what did you harvest today?

"Blessing" is a term that humanity and our Heavenly Parent deeply longed for, one that finally appeared after six thousand years. Until the term "blessing" appeared in the fallen world, our Heavenly Parent had to go through indescribable difficulties and True Parents had to carry out the entire providence of restoration through indemnity. Based on their victory, the term "blessing" finally appeared. The blessing… Thank you. However, how are our blessed families today?

We have commemorated the second anniversary of True Father's ascension and are heading toward the third anniversary. At this point, what kind of determination should we make? In his final prayer, as he was leaving us, he asked that we fulfill our responsibilities as tribal messiahs. How seriously have you been putting that into practice in your lives?

Today, in two nations, tribal messiahs, who have been carrying out their responsibilities alongside all other members worldwide, have accomplished the restoration of four hundred and thirty families. Today, we have all come together. Let us all congratulate and encourage them. May today become a day of determination for every single one of us to achieve the same objective.

Even if you are like clear water, what happens if water remains stagnant? Its quality will deteriorate. Therefore, it must move. It must flow toward the ocean. Livings beings that are dying will revive wherever this true water of life flows. That is why it is necessary for tribal messiahs to act upon their responsibilities.

The tribal messiah movement will now become a huge wave and will spread beyond Thailand and the Philippines; it will pass through several countries in Asia and pass through Europe, the Americas, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East. It is swelling and moving toward the ocean. Wherever this wave passes, countless people will be reborn. We cannot rely on anything in the world. The only method is for us to let others know about True Parents. Only when my family, my tribe and my nation become one with True Parents, aligned with the providence, and then they ride on a big wave that spreads to the five oceans and six continents can one world under God, one world -- the kingdom of heaven on earth that our Heavenly Parent and humanity longs for -- become true.

Until that day comes, the day for which humanity has longed, it is my hope that all blessed families, all members of the Unification Church, become one in heart and in body, harmonized in thought and one with True Parents through absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience.

Can you stand still knowing that our brothers and sisters are still out there, miserable and struggling like orphans? You must stand up. Will you do that?

This event is one through which we must unite. We must confidently testify to the world that True Parents have come. You must help people outside our movement become aware of True Parents' achievements and of how great they are. Do not be afraid.

Under the name True Parents, I say that wherever you act and reach out, the spiritual and physical worlds will be with you. What is there to be afraid of then? Confidently cry out. Confidently show the world that you are true blessed families, children of True Parents. remember that this is the only way you can stand in the ranks of an ancestor of a victorious true family that has guided the seven billion people in becoming citizens of Cheon Il Guk, the status we so longed for. I hope you all become victorious, devoted and loyal sons and daughters.

Victory in our quest to achieve Vision 2020! The Global Worship began at 10:30 AM on October 26 (9.3 by the heavenly calendar) at the Cheongshim Peace World Center. In attendance were around thirty thousand people including True Parents, some True Children and True Grandchildren, church leaders and blessed members.

Dr. Man Ho Kim, secretary general of the FFWPU International Headquarters, was the master of ceremonies. After beginning the worship service, the program went in the following order: We sang the Cheon Il Guk anthem and recited the Family Pledge. Rev. Kyeong Seuk Lu of FFWPU prayed.

We viewed a video report on new tribal messiahs' activities. Chung Sik Yong, True Parents' Special Emissary to Asia, gave a progress report. True Mother entered.

Everyone bowed. Yong Cheon Song, president of the Federation of Blessed Families in Japan, and his wife presented flowers. We watched a video of Mother's recent messages. True Mother, in person, gave the sermon for this service. We held a ceremony to express determination. A choir sang "A man of the Wilderness." Chairman Joon Ho Seuk led cheers of eog-mansei, bringing the service to an end.

In his report prayer, President Lu of FFWPU-Korea, beseeched God, "I sincerely thank you for allowing the global joint service to be held here in the Cheongshim Peace World Center to spur the completion of our missions as new tribal messiahs, in the presence of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, who are the substantiation of the word and the hometown of the deep heart.

Please enable us to never forget True Parents' noble lives. With tears, they followed a thorn-strewn path, fighting billions of demons to benefit our inadequate lives and for humankind's salvation. Enable every single one of us, who have received new life through the love of True Parents -- regarded by myriads of people as the king and queen of peace -- to refresh our determination through this global joint service. Please guide us so that we can render glory and joy to you by fulfilling our mission as new tribal messiahs and by fulfilling Vision 2020 for the substantiation of Cheon Il Guk."

Following this, everyone watched a ten-minute introductory video on new tribal messiah activities, which began with True Father's statement, "Shouldn't we die in a nation that God can protect? It has been my lifelong wish to find this nation before I die and live there at least for a day." The video presented True Parents' focus on tribal restoration and members' activities in the Philippines and Thailand, where new tribal messiahs fulfilled their missions. It also highlighted activities in Korea, Japan, the United States and other regions. Among the activities shown on the video, reports of the church in Taiwan receiving their government's Best religious Group Award and Central America and South America actively carrying out home-group activities and other projects were included.

True Mother gave away personal belongings and shared her deep heart with members globally.

Heavenly fortune coming in earnest

Then Special Emissary Yong came onstage to give a report on his region's activities. He said, "In the Philippines, the Interfaith Peace Blessing Festival began from Mindanao, in General Santos City southeast of Manila, in March and has been held in fifteen cities under the slogan, Let Us reconstruct Our Nation and realize World Peace through the Power of the Family! Around thirty thousand people went through these Blessing Ceremonies.

In Thailand, our church is expanding its agreement with the government regarding their supporting our True Family Movement education and the blessing in major cities." He then went on to introduce Thai tribal messiah, "Dr. Lek Thaveetermsakul, the chairman of UPF-Thailand, who was the very first person to fulfill the tribal messiah mission by restoring 430 families, and who is actively carrying out activities to make his hometown into an ideal, peaceful community."

Special Emissary Yong then said, "Both in the Philippines and Thailand, around four hundred to five hundred people come every morning to do Hoon Dok Hae. Through regular Divine Principle seminars, families are experiencing changes." He also forecasted, "Now that our faith is on fire, I believe that the number of members will exponentially increase starting from next month, when registration of tribal messiahs begins." He then said, "True Mother has asked us to complete the realization of Cheon Il Guk by 2020, which would have been the year of True Father's hundredth birthday, and she has obligated us to complete our new tribal messiah missions.

In alignment with this command, Asia has been carrying out new tribal messiah activities." Testifying to the advance of heavenly fortune, he said, "The flames of victory are moving beyond the Philippines, Thailand and Nepal and spreading throughout Asia."

Following the report, True Mother entered the stadium and all participants bowed to True Parents. Next, rev. and Mrs. Song offered bouquets of flowers to True Parents. Next, an onstage drawing took place for two handbags that True Mother had used. The winners: Mr. Jong Gwan Yu, a Korean elder and Bishop Reynaldo Christobal, from the Philippines, an Asian Clergy Leadership Council member, who recently completed, with his wife, ceremonies related to his blessing. Next, the audience watched a video of quotations from Mother's recent speeches. Then, True Mother gave the message of the day, asking blessed families worldwide to fulfill their mission as tribal messiahs.

At that point, special emissaries, regional presidents and members working in different fields moved to the platform to recite a resolution. representing the group and members everywhere, Mr. Sang Pil Moon, president of CARP-Korea; and Mr. Katsumichi Motoyama, president of CARP-Japan; read the resolution aloud:

We offer our deep gratitude to our Heavenly Parent and True Parents for opening the Cheon Il Guk era. We will become true owners of Cheon Il Guk that practice true love in resemblance of our Heavenly Parent, the Creator.

We will emulate True Parents, the Messiah, the returning Lord and Savior, who have liberated our Heavenly Parent and we will become true parents, true teachers, true owners of our tribes as new tribal messiahs. We will attain unity of the heart, body and harmonization in thought with True Parents. We will become blessed central families that achieve the three great blessings. We will build Cheon Il Guk noble families by witnessing to young people and restoring 430 families.

We will actively work toward the realization of Cheon Il Guk, one world of freedom, peace, unity and joy under our Heavenly Parent through forgiveness, love and unity, until we take our very last breath.

Following the resolution, everyone stood up, waved flags and sang, "A Man in the Wilderness." The entire service concluded with three cheers of eog mansei.

As part of the program before the main event, a holy song team comprising students from Universal Peace Academy, a training center for Cheon Il Guk leaders, had led the audience in songs. They sang Korean holy songs numbers eight, twenty-seven and thirty. Bringing the atmosphere to a climax, supported by the applause of the congregation, a team of Seonghwa youth and students from northern Tokyo, consisting of around sixty people, then performed dynamic dances. Audiences in five nations -- the United States, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand and Japan -- were connected to the global service by webcast, through which audiences of the service in many nations could see the atmosphere among the members in those five nations, who were absorbing the global service taking place in Korea.

Another drawing took place for presents from True Parents. Then, the International and Multi-Cultural Federation choir, comprising around a hundred choristers, led by Ms. Jeong Hwa Kwon, a gospel singer and second-generation member, sang "Lord, Thank You." The Month of Harvest and Liberation

Mother spoke to members at hoondokhae on October 1, in the Cheon Jeong Gung hoondokhae room. This is what she said that morning.

This speech is translated and edited by TP magazine Team

October is usually called the month of liberation and the month of harvest, isn’t it? Have you all been working hard on the harvest? You say that you follow the way of God’s will, but you have been weak in preparing for the future. What are your dreams? Aren’t most of you here in your late fifties? The young people from the witnessing revival group; please stand up. Everyone else, except for you, is aged.

Though they have lived for more than fifty years, there is no guarantee that they will live for more than fifty years in the remainder of their lives. In light of that, what were your dreams and when will they come true? A person that has not been able to establish a successor cannot achieve that dream.

Among Korean members are many age gaps. I have been looking for leaders that can ignite a new youth movement; sadly, I can’t find anyone. You must repent deeply. From the position of parents, how... You are supposed to open the way for your children. You had to emulate True Parents. You said you would love, respect and attend True Parents throughout their lives, but what happened to achieving their dreams? This must not finish within your generation. You must strengthen the foundation and environment that will enable this dream to be continued, developed and realized. A person with a dream is young, even at the age of seventy. No matter how young you may be, if you do not have any dream, you just end up drifting away.

What did the hoondokhae reading we just did say about the physical world? It said this is where we pre pare to harvest grain for the next world. Intact ripe grain uneaten by bugs! Only when that grain is stored in the heavenly warehouse, can our Heavenly Parent love you. Our lives here on earth are a short moment. You have repeatedly heard that the physical world is where we prepare for life in the next world, the eternal world. From now on, put your faith in practice and act to fulfill that dream. Isn’t Cheon Il Guk the substantiation of that dream?

While looking at the golden waves in the fields, many memories came to me. I wondered whether farmers were happy now that the harvest sea son has arrived. However, on the contrary, I heard that they have more worries. Our farmers in Korea are struggling with issue of the importation of rice to Korea. All nations must be able to all live well. Though we are said to be going in this direction, some places may suffer disadvantages in the distribution process. This is because there is no true owner of this country or of the world. You must at tend True Parents. A single word from True Parents should be able to put everything in order, but because this isn’t the situation, people keep fighting and disputing issues. When you observe that, don’t you feel anything?

Can I hold on to this dream of hope and have hope in you? I ask the young people, in particular to develop dreams through which your courage saves the nation and the world. Do you understand? What matters is the beginning. You are truly blessed people. Even if you have received the same amount of blessings, the person that develops those blessings well and expands the good environment through that becomes a noble person, doesn’t he? Those that fail to do that just drift away. If you are wise people, what should you do? In addition, you received the blessing in True Parents’ name and now have children and grandchildren children. In light of that, how will your future descendants—hundreds or thousands of years from now—assess you?

Heaven is alive. I receive reports from the special emissaries to each region almost every day. No matter what the environment, once a seed was planted, it grew. It bore fruit. This is amazing. I received a report from the special emissary to the Middle East. One cannot freely witness in the Middle Eastern environment. Blessed families there, however, have settled and preserved their families with a standard of absolute faith and absolute obedience in such remote areas and are making effort to find ways to restore their tribes. According to the special emissary, these members in the field move him deeply, and he goes on tours with a heart of gratitude. Motivated by the word alone, these blessed members are determined to work hard throughout their lives and bury their bones in the country. You, however, live in a different environment. Here, you are receiving a lot of support. Among these blessed family members, there is one member who is making all kinds of effort to realize this dream despite the severely constricted environment. When asked how much support he needed to continue the work, he replied he needed only $500.

You must deeply repent. Those that follow the way toward the fulfillment of God’s will in a comfortable state must repent. In order to do that, you must witness a lot. If you do not wit ness and just keep receiving grace without bringing results, you—who are in the same position as those dedicated blessed members—will be in debt. I felt sorry for not paying much attention to them until now. That is why I appointed special emissaries and plan to give them a lot of support. In order to do that, the Korean church must witness a lot and become a central nation that can send many missionaries around the world. Isn’t that correct? Korea must become the source nation. However, it has not been able to do that, has it?

In light of this, I am greatly interested in CARP and the youth movement. Do you understand? This also applies to providential organizations. Isn’t our goal Cheon Il Guk? We should become devoted children and patriots that bring forth many Cheon Il Guk citizens. Isn’t this how you can save your tribe and liberate humankind? While I am on earth, you must let all seven billion people know of True Parents’ emergence. They are in a very pitiable position without knowing about True Parents. You must have that sense of responsibility. If you have not been able to guide your children to this standard, witness to them and guide them to it. Do you understand?

The season of harvest is a good sea son for witnessing. Please print the slogan “We are brothers and sisters that realize the dream” on vests or jackets and ask the members of the witnessing revival group to wear them. Many people will wonder what the dream is when they see it. So please make it look nice. [Applause]

We are in an era different from those of the past. We must be ahead when it comes to witnessing methods. And you must start in gratitude and joy. Isn’t finding one life a joyful thing? The outside world is gradually collapsing. Isn’t the fertility rate in Korea the lowest? Our young people must witness and change people’s mindset. True Parents, the path we are following and our vision alone can save the world. Only True Parents can save this country, bring unity between the two Koreas and bring together Asia and the world. October is usually called the month of liberation and the month of harvest, isn't it? Have you all been working hard on the harvest? You say that you follow the way of God's will, but you have been weak in preparing for the future. What are your dreams? Aren't most of you here in your late fifties? The young people from the witnessing revival group; please stand up. Everyone else, except for you, is aged.

Though they have lived for more than fifty years, there is no guarantee that they will live for more than fifty years in the remainder of their lives. In light of that, what were your dreams and when will they come true? A person that has not been able to establish a successor cannot achieve that dream.

Among Korean members are many age gaps. I have been looking for leaders that can ignite a new youth movement; sadly, I can't find anyone. You must repent deeply. From the position of parents, how... You are supposed to open the way for your children. You had to emulate True Parents. You said you would love, respect and attend True Parents throughout their lives, but what happened to achieving their dreams? This must not finish within your generation. You must strengthen the foundation and environment that will enable this dream to be continued, developed and realized. A person with a dream is young, even at the age of seventy. No matter how young you may be, if you do not have any dream, you just end up drifting away.

What did the Hoon Dok Hae reading we just did say about the physical world? It said this is where we pre pare to harvest grain for the next world. Intact ripe grain uneaten by bugs! Only when that grain is stored in the heavenly warehouse, can our Heavenly Parent love you. Our lives here on earth are a short moment. You have repeatedly heard that the physical world is where we prepare for life in the next world, the eternal world. From now on, put your faith in practice and act to fulfill that dream. Isn't Cheon Il Guk the substantiation of that dream?

While looking at the golden waves in the fields, many memories came to me. I wondered whether farmers were happy now that the harvest season has arrived. However, on the contrary, I heard that they have more worries. Our farmers in Korea are struggling with issue of the importation of rice to Korea. All nations must be able to all live well. Though we are said to be going in this direction, some places may suffer disadvantages in the distribution process. This is because there is no true owner of this country or of the world. You must at tend True Parents. A single word from True Parents should be able to put everything in order, but because this isn't the situation, people keep fighting and disputing issues. When you observe that, don't you feel anything?

Can I hold on to this dream of hope and have hope in you? I ask the young people, in particular to develop dreams through which your courage saves the nation and the world. Do you understand? What matters is the beginning. You are truly blessed people. Even if you have received the same amount of blessings, the person that develops those blessings well and expands the good environment through that becomes a noble person, doesn't he? Those that fail to do that just drift away. If you are wise people, what should you do? In addition, you received the blessing in True Parents' name and now have children and grandchildren children. In light of that, how will your future descendants -- hundreds or thousands of years from now -- assess you?

Heaven is alive. I receive reports from the special emissaries to each region almost every day. No matter what the environment, once a seed was planted, it grew. It bore fruit. This is amazing. I received a report from the special emissary to the Middle East. One cannot freely witness in the Middle Eastern environment. Blessed families there, however, have settled and preserved their families with a standard of absolute faith and absolute obedience in such remote areas and are making effort to find ways to restore their tribes. According to the special emissary, these members in the field move him deeply, and he goes on tours with a heart of gratitude. Motivated by the word alone, these blessed members are determined to work hard throughout their lives and bury their bones in the country. You, however, live in a different environment. Here, you are receiving a lot of support. Among these blessed family members, there is one member who is making all kinds of effort to realize this dream despite the severely constricted environment. When asked how much support he needed to continue the work, he replied he needed only $500.

You must deeply repent. Those that follow the way toward the fulfillment of God's will in a comfortable state must repent. In order to do that, you must witness a lot. If you do not wit ness and just keep receiving grace without bringing results, you -- who are in the same position as those dedicated blessed members -- will be in debt. I felt sorry for not paying much attention to them until now. That is why I appointed special emissaries and plan to give them a lot of support.

In order to do that, the Korean church must witness a lot and become a central nation that can send many missionaries around the world. Isn't that correct? Korea must become the source nation. However, it has not been able to do that, has it?

In light of this, I am greatly interested in CARP and the youth movement. Do you understand? This also applies to providential organizations. Isn't our goal Cheon Il Guk? We should become devoted children and patriots that bring forth many Cheon Il Guk citizens. Isn't this how you can save your tribe and liberate humankind? While I am on earth, you must let all seven billion people know of True Parents' emergence. They are in a very pitiable position without knowing about True Parents. You must have that sense of responsibility. If you have not been able to guide your children to this standard, witness to them and guide them to it. Do you understand?
