True Parents' Message at the Hyo Jeong Global Peace Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony

Did you miss me a lot? I just came from participating in the 24th ICUS. For 22 years ICUS led with the theme of Absolute Values and last year after 17 years we revived ICUS.

Up until now, humanity strived to live good lives in accordance with their original natures, yet the environment could not keep up with them, and because they did not stand at the center their selfishness and their individual greed took the forefront and that phenomenon made today as it is. Especially when we look at the history of human civilization, it is true that scientific developments have provided us, in the present, with a bountiful and comfortable life. Yet, what I am saying here today is that all humankind, especially scientists must know God. We must know the essence of God, the Creator, who is the owner of the Universe, and we must know what his dream was. It is the truth that humankind has emerged incorrectly until now.

Originally when God created Heaven, Earth, and all things he created according to his form. The center of birth and the creation of life, more so than the father, is the mother. Isn't that so? God our Creator! Father and Mother together created all things in the cosmos. That shape can be seen as plus and minus in the mineral kingdom, stamen and pistil in the plant kingdom, male and female in the animal kingdom, and God created a man and a woman that would become the first ancestors of humankind. The Bible refers to them as Adam and Eve. However, God hoped to see humanity develop into perfection through the growth-period. Because he wished that Adam and Eve must go forward completely united with God. Yet during this time, they developed greed. They thought "I too can become like God" they developed greed for things before the correct time. This is how they became fallen humankind who could not be together with God.

Heaven cannot change God's principles of creation. God is omniscient and omnipotent. The purpose God set undoubtedly has to be realized. Yet the difficult thing is that God absolutely needs humankind's cooperation. God, the Absolute Creator, had to begin the providence of salvation. Indemnity follows the providence of salvation, Indemnity has to be paid from the individual, family, tribe, and national level to become free. We can see this through the Bible and through Heaven's providence of restoration. Heaven waited as the bitter history of the providence of restoration through indemnity unfolded. After the long-period of four thousand years, God chose the nation through which he could send the Savior who he can call "My Son". How difficult must it have been that it took four thousand years to shed the indemnity? However, what happened? The people around Jesus did not know the Jesus' purpose or his essence. They thought of him as a person, as an individual. The person who could save humankind and become the first good ancestor of humankind, they sent that person to the cross.

The resurrection of Christianity began through the Pentecost of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus died on the cross he said: "I will return". He said he would come back and hold the marriage supper of the lamb. The marriage supper of the lamb! The goal of Christianity and Heaven's providence is the only daughter of God that could not be found and attended two thousand years ago. Yet, Christians today do not know this. There are many religions around the world. However, they too do not know what the goal or the final destination is. Yesterday at the ICUS, I told them they must not stop at just knowing God they must conduct their research from the position of attendance to God. Until now, scientific development has been partial to only one direction. Do you know what the world is afraid of today? It is nuclear power which has an enormous destructive power. I know that even the nuclear reactors which help us in our everyday lives have been causing enormous damage due to its nuclear waste. If this science is only developed from one direction, and that is the direction of destruction, then humankind and the earth has no future. Therefore, I am saying that you must know God and through receiving inspiration and wisdom from God, you must protect this environment which is heading towards its final days with no hope for humankind. Do you understand what I am saying?

Heaven gave us poison. There are poisonous snakes and there are plants with poison. Yet Heaven also gave us substances which can counteract the poison. What this means is that God's principles of creation from when he created the universe, can be perpetuated eternally. It can exist forever! The world of all created things, which did not fall, circulates well according to the principles of creation. However, it is true that this beautiful world, this nature, is being destroyed through human ignorance. When I saw the news today, it said that the concentration of fine dust is serious today. Fine dust! Especially Korea, due to the yellow dust and the fine dust which comes from Korea has a higher concentration. It is not enough for just one country to do well. There must cooperate to move in a direction to overcome these problems.

Therefore, not long ago, I warned China in this way. "You are spending a great amount of money on the military. With that money your nation can turn the Gobi desert into beautiful land, even if you invest one-third of that it is possible" This was what I said. They only need to make effort but they do not think of the future. The phenomenon of only looking right in front of them is occurring in all government of all nations and is because of the greed to put their own nation's benefit first. Thus because I know God I told the scientists, "I am the Mother of the Universe!". Therefore I cannot tolerate these phenomena. I told them no matter what I have to make this right. I am saying in order to do this I hope for all of your cooperation. Did I do well?

Also, I spoke to scientists in our second-generation, I saw that they have grown beautifully. They are the hope of our future. I ask that you dream big, so that the world God originally created, a healthy planet with a bright future for humankind, a world of freedom, equality, peace, and happiness, and a world of one human family centered on God, can begin. I ask that you grow beautifully and healthily so that through your studies and your efforts you will develop more brilliant ideas and become more brilliant than those scientists, and through your pure selves, become people who can give hope to this world today.

Because of the heat of your energy, I have to take off a layer of clothes. Yesterday was the Rally for the March Forward of the Family Federation for a Heavenly Korea. At that time, five thousand CARP members danced, but you are better. How can your pronunciation be so good? Thank you for growing up well, and thank you for participating in the workshop well. You are the future of the Family Federation for a Heavenly Japan. You are the ones, with great grades, who can become leaders not only in Japan but throughout the world.

Yesterday I spoke at ICUS. What they were curious about, is what kind of person, with what kind of purpose, is doing this work, which no one else has been able to do. They were curious. So I told them the person you must research, and know, and attend from now on is Heavenly Parent. When looking at human civilization, the present times and our lives have become very comfortable through the development of science. That is something we can see with our eyes.

On the other hand, through the development of science, we are also receiving unexpected damage. Right now nations, North Korea among them are saying they must have nuclear power in order for their nation to survive. Why do they need that? All they need to do is change their way of thinking. They all have greed, selfishness and are self-promoting, saying, "I am first, only I have to live well." That kind of thinking has been prevalent in fallen history.

The rise and fall! Among large and smaller nations, just when you thought one was on the rise, it would begin to fall. Humankind would still speak of peace as this happened. Therefore, all throughout the world, there are many religious people and globally four great religions are governing the people of today. Yet they do not know the conclusion well. They do not know where they must go. Human beings are not born because they wish to be. They are created because there is an absolute being, the owner of the universe. That Creator has a dream. That dream is to embrace all humankind in one embrace through the love of a parent.

In summary, the world today has lost their parent. If they do not find their parent, if they do not attend their parent, then the world today cannot realize peace. When looking at the future, we cannot see hope either. The future seems hopeless. However you may be thinking, as long as I live well today, I do not care about tomorrow. Yet centered on Heavenly Parent, the Absolute Being, there is no first or second act, The eternal Heavenly Parent wishes that everything he created, including his sons and daughters, will last eternally. We call God, the Creator, our Heavenly Parent. Your reply is a bit slow. [Laughs] I said that your pronunciation was good earlier but you must be able to use True Parents' language in order to say you are true children. True children and humankind must attend Heavenly Parent and on the path of being able to stand in Heaven's presence, you must receive the blessing and be reborn. This is the revival and rebirth. You are born new through the True Parents as people with no connection to Satan and no connection to the Fall. Therefore, you are in the position in which you can become filial sons and daughters in God's presence. Aju! Aju! I feel great. I have spoken in Japan and in many places around the world. Now I have said that I will reveal the truths of history. I said I am the Mother of the universe, the only daughter of God; let us make the kingdom of heaven on earth together with me. That is what I said during the Wonmo Scholarship Awards ceremony.

This will be easy if all powerful and small nations accept Heavenly Parent's will. The world can become a world of peace. However, neither large nor small nations know Heavenly Parent or know of the manifestation of True Parents. They think that the only way to survive is by becoming stronger. What happens if there are only strong nations? In the end, they break and fall apart. Is that so or not? What happens in nature if there is a plus and a plus? They repel. When we look at God's principles of creation, humankind has to go forward on a path united and centered on God from the beginning to the end. The ones who will teach this precisely are the True Parents! On the path to a united world, there will be no need for the military. Isn't that so? We will need neither bullets nor bombers, will we? Why, then, are people spending unnecessary money on this? Especially Japan, as the Eve nation, has a responsibility toward the world. You must teach [the world]. During this urgent time, when a day seems like a thousand years is when we need your wisom, hard work, and effort. No matter what, you must make effort so that the world can go in the direction of a world of peace, one global family that attends Heavenly Parent. I know that you must be curious about me. As I have said to all leaders of the world and to all Family Federation members, we must know God properly. I am saying that we can find the path for us to solve all the problems that are occurring in the world today and the solutions to these when we properly know God, who is the origin of the universe. Apart from religion, I will explain how to realize a peaceful kingdom of heaven on earth where you can attend God, the Creator, in your family, in your nation, and in the world.

Today the entire world is feeling prosperous due to the development of civilization and the development of science. On the other hand, there are many problems. I see that at this time we especially need the efforts of scientists. When God created all things, he created those in the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom as plus and minus, stamen and pistil, male and female, until he created a man and a woman who would become the first good ancestor. In that case, God's essence too, is not just a Heavenly Father, but a Heavenly Father and Mother.

God gave human beings responsibilities and gave them time, a growth period, to work toward perfection. However, Adam and Eve, who could have become the ancestors of humankind, could not unite with God during the growth period. They looked toward themselves. They became greedy. They formed greed and thought, I can become just like God.

That became today's fallen world with no connection to God. That is why humankind's original nature desires to return to Heaven. Therefore, globally, four major religions formed. Yet, those religions too, to be precise, did not know God. God wished to come as the true parent, a visible God that could become the ancestor of humankind and embrace humankind. That is Heavenly Parent's, God's, dream. In order to realize that dream, God set up the principles of creation so humankind could cooperate with him. The world of all created things, which did not fall, circulates well according to the principles of creation.

However, due to ignorant human beings and their greed, that nature is being destroyed is true. God could not just wait. Therefore, the work of finding the True Parents, who could become humankind's ancestors, had not fallen and were victorious, is what Christians call "Messianism." Why do we need a Messiah? Fallen humankind cannot go directly into God's presence. Through the messiah, we must be reborn and resurrected. If we are not reborn, we cannot become God's children. Therefore, Heaven's providence had to become the lonely and miserable providence of restoration through indemnity. That took a period of six thousand years. How difficult must that path have been that it took six thousand years? This cannot all be explained from a religious perspective.

Yet, centered on Korea, here in this nation, the only daughter and only son of God were found and Heaven blessed them so they could go forward as the True Parents. Therefore, through the blessed families who have been reborn through True Parents, the foundation is expanding.

I wish to tell you that the providence of informing the 7.5 billion people of the world about True Parents is actively progressing. When we look at the realities of today, we feel there is no hope. There are religious conflicts, racial conflicts, land conflicts, ideological conflicts and in all respects we are going down a path that does not lead to unity. Around two hundred nations are a part of the UN. Yet, even the nations that are a part of the UN only think first of the benefit to their own country, so they cannot unite. This is the mistaken reality of today.

How can we solve this problem? The only answer here is to meet the True Parents, who had been lost to humankind. All nations in the world can become brothers and sisters in front of True Parents. They can become God's sons or daughters. If that happens, when the parents say, "Shouldn't we solve this problem like this?" the children of the world will say, "That is right. That is the answer we have been waiting for." It will become like that.

Earlier I said that the world is deteriorating greatly due to humankind's ignorance. This is the truth. Even until a few years ago, we did not know that pollution was this serious. Because the development of science has been leaning in one direction, it is being used incorrectly to create destructive power.

In summary, there is no future for humankind or future for the planet. You do not wish for this. Originally, God had a dream. He created this beautiful planet and placed humankind at its center. We cannot allow God's dream to be ruined due to humankind's mistakes. Therefore, I am doing many things worldwide. I am the only daughter of God, the mother of the universe! I cannot stand back and watch these wrongdoings. While I am on earth, as much as possible, I wish to give hope through the path to return to the healthy earth and the healthy humankind God originally created.

Your responsibility is important. I would like to give the example of a monarch butterfly. They are small, only about three centimeters long. How can they annually fly with such small wing movements all the way from Canada to Mexico? Who told them to go in that direction? These butterflies will go through many difficulties to go from Canada to Mexico. They will have to make many sacrifices. Yet they will go.

What point is there for poison, which is unnecessary for people? In small amounts, it can become medicine. However, Heaven also gave us the way to counteract these poisons. I am telling you this because I wanted you to know that Heaven has given us the methods to correct distortions through the development of science. Your efforts and hard work are the hope for the future and for humankind. It will become the joy of all created things and through your effort, which will return joy, delight, and glory to God, our Creator, a new age, a new history will unfold. In that sense, I ask for your active cooperation and effort.

Find the Original Motivation of Your Parents' Faith

After Father's Seonghwa, you know the first thing I did, don't you? I created the Wonmo Scholarship system for the cultivation of our future generations. I sold the helicopter True Father rode in to use the proceeds as seed money. Since then, each year we have provided more than ten billion won in scholarships [to recipients] in Korea, Japan, and throughout the world. To Sun Moon University, hundreds of students have come and they are all studying thanks to the scholarships I am providing.

If you ask why I am doing this, it is because you must take responsibility for the future. I said this earlier too but unlike other things in God's creation, human beings did not fulfill their responsibilities and created this fallen world. This world is not what God willed. Today, the things that are occurring throughout the world are things that should not happen.

You who know God's will. Moreover, through True Parents' blessing, you were born as secondgeneration members; you must make the beautiful kingdom of heaven on earth that God originally created. In order to do that, you must solve all the problems that are occurring throughout the world now. You must know the essence.

As you are researching, bear in mind that until now, scientists have created many problems. Earlier, you said you are studying atomic science. The world is trying to use that power to raise large and small nations. That is why we cannot unite. Japan also had a dream of conquering the world so they harassed many nations in Asia. At the end of WWII, Hiroshima was hit by an atomic bomb that resulted in Japan's surrender. Through that, Japan came to its senses but the damage caused by that was very great.

What is important for you is that in regard to spiritual problems, you have to find the original motivation of your parents' faith. You must liberate your ancestors. Until now, for six thousand years, humankind's many ancestors have gone to the spirit world. They are uncomfortable. They cannot find their place. This is because they are spirits who went to the spirit world before True Parents' manifestation. For them to be liberated through you is important. They will become good spirits in the spirit world and come down to help you on earth.

Numerous great people that have gone [to the spirit world] throughout the years until now will be able to help you in the work you do. If your spiritual eyes are open and if the spirit world helps you, it is possible to get help with what you are researching. Do you understand? Therefore, knowledge is also important but the internal aspects, the resurrection of the spirit -- that is how we are different. You must show the world this. Do you understand? On that point, you must offer more Jeong Seong. Do you know the meaning of Jeong Seong [sincere devotions]? You can do that well, right?

We are living in a new age. You must properly know God. When you do so, you will be able to attend God in your family, your nation, and the world. When God created heaven and earth, God created the world in his form, in his image. The Bible refers to them as Adam and Eve. Unlike the world of all created things, God gave humans a growth period during which they could fulfill their responsibilities.

God created the heavens and the Earth. When we think of God, we think of someone in a high place, a dignified being who would not deign to lower his head to look down at the fallen human race. That is how God has been depicted. Yet the Bible says, "God is love." When we face all created things, the lovelier something is, the more beautiful and ecstatic we feel. When we look at it, we experience a heart of feeling united through joy.

When we look at the world of all things, and look at the human world, we must realize God, the Creator, was not only the masculine subject, but that living things could be born because there was a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother. You must know this clearly. Yet until now, religious people have only looked at one side. The completion of religion, the completion of humankind cannot come to be through one side. If you do not welcome the mother of the universe, True Mother, the only daughter of God, no salvation can come for humankind. We must take the path of knowing God's essence clearly and becoming one with God. Then the problems arising from race, religion, etc. -- these problems will no longer be problems.

We must unite with the victorious True Parents who are the substantial embodiment of Heavenly Parent. When you are reborn through the True Parents, you can appear in Heavenly Parent's presence. Each of you has your own responsibilities. You must first fulfill your responsibilities as heavenly tribal messiahs. I am telling you who live during this amazing providential age that you cannot keep this as yours alone. All 7.5 billion people of the world must know of Heavenly Parent's existence and know what Heavenly Parent's dream is. Therefore, through believing in, attending and following the victorious True Parents, you qualify as a true child who can stand in God's presence. At a time when you receive Heaven's blessings, should all humankind go to the spirit world without knowing, hearing about or living that kind of life or not?

Now what is there for you to fear? The path for religions, governments, and all entities to unite is through welcoming the mother of the universe, True Parents, the only daughter of God. All living things that live on earth wish to take that path.

For a long time, fallen humankind has been destroying this beautiful world. Therefore, as the mother of the universe, as the True Parents, I cannot ignore our descendants' future. It is my responsibility and yours to make right every wrong. We have welcomed the new year, 2018, the year of the golden dog, centered on the resolutions you have made. We must be victorious at an even higher level.
