Distinguished guests, religious leaders, members of the Family Federation and all couples blessed today, welcome!
Today, we wish for a peaceful world without wars or conflicts. However, the road is not visible. With human effort and capacity alone, we no longer have hope for the future. We must know God, the creator and owner of the universe, directly.
God, the owner of heaven, created all things in his image, and he created a man and a woman to be humanity's ancestors. God gave humanity a period of growth and waited for the moment he would see they had matured, and he'd be able to say, "You have grown in a beautiful way." However, human beings have been looking out for only themselves. Ambition that they could become like God grew in them. With that ambition today, fallen human beings have emerged that have nothing to do with the Creator, God.
We call God "Heavenly Father," but for a father alone, giving birth is impossible. Originally, what God wanted was for humans to grow up and when they had matured, he wanted to share with them the True Father's position. So, God is our Heavenly Father and Mother.
We must understand the fundamental principles of creation. God was waiting for the moment when human beings would grow and mature. We are different from the natural world; that's why it's said that human beings are the lords of all creation. However, human beings didn't reach that position.
God is omniscient and omnipotent, so he must fulfill the principles of creation that he himself established. Thus, God had no choice but to launch the providential history of salvation, of restoration through indemnity. God established the Israelites and conducted the providence of restoration from the individual foundation to a tribal foundation and so on, until it became a national foundation. After a long time, four thousand years, he was finally able to send his only begotten son, whom -- among everyone in the fallen world -- he could call "my beloved son." However, the Israelite people did not receive Jesus as the Messiah. It was only after four thousand years that God had had time enough to re-establish the principles of creation.
Yet neither Mary, who conceived Jesus, nor Judaic figures, nor the Israelite people, understood Jesus' essence. Jesus came as the only begotten son, but his mission was to become the True Father. However, because the people around him were not united with him, Jesus was crucified. Christians today must think about that.
When they took Jesus to the cross, no one was with him -- neither Mary, nor his twelve Apostles -- only thieves on crosses to his left and to his right. The thief on Jesus' left mocked him. Then the one on his right told the one on the left, "We received a just punishment for our crimes; he has not committed any crime." What did Jesus tell him at that time? "Today you will be with me in Paradise" -- not in the kingdom of heaven but in Paradise, and then Jesus said he would return.
Jesus' mission was to become the True Father and to bring rebirth. However, he failed to make it. We know, in history, the price paid by the Israelites for having led Jesus to crucifixion. God does not work with people again that have not fulfilled their responsibilities.
If Jesus said he would come back to celebrate the marriage supper of the Lamb, what providence had to be fulfilled? God had to give birth to his only begotten daughter, so he had to find good people. It was in 1943, among the Korean people that the only begotten daughter was born in a Christian environment. In 1945, World War II ended and countries among the Allies divided Korea into North and South.
The divided Korea had a democratic side and a communist side, and the northern regime was soon to invade the South. But South Korea was still in the process of reorganizing. At the time of the Creation, God had given human beings a period of growth. Thus, though the only begotten daughter was born in 1943, she needed time to grow. Back then, although the history of Korean Christianity was short, Koreans worshipped in spirit and truth like no other country in the world. People were preparing for the Lord who was to come again. That providence was taking place around Pyongyang. That's why my family, living in North Korea, wouldn't even think of going south.
However, God had to protect me, and he guided us down to South Korea. Two years after going to the South, the Korean War broke out. Despite being a small country unknown to the world, kind men from sixteen UN member-countries shed blood in Korea. Who was it for?
Because of the dream God wanted to fulfill two thousand years ago through Jesus Christ, he had to protect his only child, born for the first time in six thousand years. It was a mysterious blessing from God and a manifestation of his immense love. Knowing this and despite being almost a child, in 1960 I obtained the position of True Mother. The story of the Blessing providence began in 1960.
Paradise is not the place Jesus should go. That's why he expressed that he would come again and that he would celebrate the marriage supper of the Lamb. What Jesus was saying was that he would return to become a true parent. The eternal world we go to later when we complete our earthly lives is a place where you go as families.
The 60th anniversary of the True Parents' Holy Wedding comes in 2020. In these 60 years, True Parents gave birth to many blessed families around the world. The peaceful world we all desire is only possible through God and True Parents. There are more than two hundred countries currently in the world and for True Parents they are all brother nations. If all countries and continents receive and serve God and all humankind is Blessed, that day the kingdom of heaven on earth that all of us long for will have been realized.
So far, human beings have lived in ignorance generally and in ignorance of God and that condition brought about today's destruction [of the planet] and hasn't maintained well the beautiful plan that God originally had for the creation. This has turned to destruction today. Climate change and pollution now afflict this planet. Unimaginable diseases and problems occur because of pollution and it's a fact that in the future humanity could reach its limit for survival. In other words, humanity's future is not visible.
What shall we do in that case? We must strive to ensure that Heavenly Parent's children will stand up and solve all these difficulties and problems so that the eternal creation will last in the world that the Creator, Heavenly Parent originally created. We must strive to sustain further the eternal creation.
I know there are many problems in this country, too. The politicians and the economically powerful should also work out a campaign to serve God, the Creator, our Heavenly Parent. Only through a movement to attend God can human beings and the planet be healed. Won't the representative democratic Christian country -- the United States -- take the lead? It's the only way for them to open wide a future for our beloved second-generation members, our children. Let's solve the problems together with me, the only begotten daughter, True Mother and with the blessed families and of course, with the clergy members and the citizens of this country. Let's make America beautiful, a beautiful earthly kingdom of heaven.

Heavenly USA American Clergy Leadership Conference Special Assembly 2019
The Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas, NV, USA
Good afternoon. How do you do? The title of what I want to talk to you about today is: What is the role of the chosen people according to divine providence?
After Adam and Eve's fall, in different regions of the world, God allowed religions that persecuted good people in order to create the conditions for him to embrace humanity again. God originally created the heavens and the earth and all things in his image. Finally, he created a man and a woman, who would become the human ancestors. He gave human beings responsibilities to fulfill during their period of growth. However, as they grew, Adam and Eve fell into a position separate from God. God, in his desire to embrace humanity and fulfill his dream, established fundamental principles of creation, so he had no choice but to lead the providence of salvation.
Thus, he establishes a chosen people and has been leading the providence of restoration through indemnity from the individual level to the national level. You gentlemen, through the Bible, know what kind of life the Israelites led. How difficult must the course of indemnity have been that it took God four thousand years until he could send Jesus Christ, of whom he said, "This is my beloved son"! After such a long time, he had sent his only son, who could fulfill God's purpose for the Creation, but the Israelite people did not recognize Jesus. They did not understand Jesus' essence. In short, they did not realize what kind of being God is either.
Thus, Jesus could not fulfill the full the purpose for which he had come. Before he went through the crucifixion, he announced that he would return. And what happened to the Israelites for leading Jesus to crucifixion? They paid a tremendous price for it. Christianity was born through the Apostles, who while waiting for Christ's return, experienced rebirth through the Holy Spirit. At first, however, they endured harsh persecution.
With official recognition from Rome in 313, Christianity spread from the Italian Peninsula through Europe and crossed into England. In time, England went out into the world and people said that the sun never set on (the British Empire). They went out into the world as if to do missionary work. However, being ignorant of God and Jesus' essence, [the Empire] devolved into a culture of looting, of selfishness, of prioritizing their national interest. Although they managed to be an economically rich and powerful country, in the internal aspect, the spiritual, this created many difficulties. From among those who believed in Christianity communism arose, which asserted that God had died. Jesus said, [in Matthew 22:39] "Love your neighbor as yourself," but as a result of living lives the opposite of that practice, when Christianity was unable to progress further, King James had the Bible translated from Hebrew to English in the seventeenth century, giving rise to the Puritans. The migration of Puritans, wishing to worship God without the restrictions of the old system, gave birth to what is now the United States.
Heaven wanted to create the foundation for the return of the Lord through this democratic country. The beginning was good, but when the United States had abundance economically and in every other respect, it distanced itself from God, bringing about family disintegration, juvenile delinquency and inviting the encroach of communism. When the US was unable to prevent this -- and because to save the world it was first necessary to bring America to God's side -- we came to the United States and led providential activities here forty years. (I am speaking of the True Parents.)
Jesus' hope was to be the True Father. To do so, he had to find God's only daughter, who did not make herself known at that time. God chose another people among whom he could bring about the birth of his only daughter. So, God's only daughter was born in Korea in 1943 through the Christian foundation that God had prepared for two thousand years. This was prior to the end of the Second World War. World War II ended in 1945. Korea had been under the Japanese government. In 1945, it was liberated but the Allies divided it into North and South. As a divided country, the North is a communist country and the South is democratic; the North had completely Sovietized itself and was preparing to invade the South.
During that time, I was born in the North. Christianity then had only a brief history in Korea but more than in other countries, Koreans fervently worshipped in spurt and in truth. I knew about the Messiah well. Nearly all Christians expected the return of Jesus Christ coming on the clouds, but some spiritual groups knew that only through his physical birth could he fulfill God's purpose for the Creation. Under these circumstances, I was born, amid God's special protection through these spiritual groups. God protected me so that I could safely grow up.
Because of the faith that the Lord's return would occur around Pyongyang, my family could not think of going to the South. But God, foreseeing the future, put us into circumstances that made us go to the South. Two years after arriving in South Korea, the Korean War broke out.
At that time, the democratic system in South Korea had not yet stabilized. How could God do anything when seeing the situation? Although it was a nation unknown to the world, sixteen UN member-countries [sent troops to] protect the South. This was because of my mission as God's only daughter. God hoped his only daughter would reach maturity, find the one who had come with the mission of God's only son and that the two would become True Parents. Seeing the situation in the world, I could not continue to doubt and although I was not much older than a child, in 1960 I came into the position of True Mother. The sixtieth anniversary of that day comes in 2020. Since its inception, the purpose of the blessing has been to give rebirth to fallen humanity through the True Parents. We started with three couples and today there are thousands upon thousands of couples; we created countless blessed families.
The title I gave this speech mentions the role of the chosen people. The chosen people! A people God has chosen. Who are the chosen people in the 21st century, in the era of True Parents? You are. All of you here today are the 21st century's chosen people, who have responsibilities to fulfill. In the past, for not fulfilling theirs, the Israelites paid a tremendous price. You, the elect of today, must fulfill your responsibilities.
What will it be? You must be the messiah of your congregation and of your tribe. Only through the blessing of marriages is it possible for you to become messiahs. Are you willing to do that? I want to talk about you to God with pride. Enduring infinite sadness and pain in search of his lost children for six thousand years, God waited all this time for True Parents to emerge on earth and take charge of his circumstances.
He wanted to fulfill his will two thousand years ago through Jesus Christ, but because the chosen people, the Israelites, did not receive him, it took two thousand more years for the birth of the only daughter, the True Mother, to fulfill humanity's hope, God's dream for the united human family.
If the 7.6 billion people that make up humanity attend God, he can embrace them, and they can become true, loyal, filial sons or daughters, and no more wars, conflicts or obstacles will arise to impede unity. Each of the clergy members here today is a messiah of his clan and congregation. A messiah has to save people. Right? You achieve that through the blessing, through the true family movement. Will you do it in that way? I hope you will work hard and enthusiastically to help the United States to fulfill its filial duty to God, who has waited so long for this country to embrace the world.

American Clergy Leadership Conference's Unity Banquet
Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Good afternoon, everyone. How are you doing? After the fall of Adam and Eve, God allowed religions in different regions of the world to pursue goodness in order to create the conditions for him to embrace humanity again.
God originally created heaven and earth and everything in creation in his image. Finally, he created a male and a female, who would become the (good) human ancestors. He gave humans responsibilities to fulfill during their time of growth. However, as they grew up, Adam and Eve fell into a position separate from God. God, in his desire to embrace humanity and fulfill his dream, established fundamental principles of creation, so he had no choice but to lead the providence of salvation.
Thus, he establishes a chosen people and has been leading the providence of restoration through indemnity from the individual level to the national level. You gentlemen, by means of the Bible, know what kind of lives the Israelites led and how difficult the course of redemption must have been that it took Heaven four thousand years until he could send Jesus Christ, of whom he said, This is my beloved son [Matthew 3:17]. Then, after such a long time, God sent his only son, his son who could fulfill the purpose of the creation as God wished. But the Israelites did not recognize Jesus. They did not know Jesus' essence.
In short, they did not know what kind of being God is either. Thus, Jesus could not fulfill the whole purpose for which he had come. Before he went through the crucifixion, he announced that he would return. And what happened to the Israelites for leading Jesus to crucifixion? They paid a tremendous price for it.
Christianity arose with the Apostles, who while waiting for Jesus' return, gained rebirth through the work of the Holy Spirit. At first, however, they were severely persecuted. Later, having received official recognition in Rome in 313, Christianity spread from the Italian Peninsula to Europe and crossed into England.
At that time, England went out into the world and people said [of the British Empire] that the sun never set on it. They went out into the world ostensibly doing missionary work. However, being ignorant of God's essence and Jesus' essence, they finally ended up with a culture of looting, of selfishness, of prioritizing their national interests. And although they managed to be an economically rich and powerful country, in the inner aspect, on the spiritual side, they created many difficulties. From among believers in Christianity communism arose, with some asserting that God had died. Jesus said [Matthew 22:39] "Love your neighbor as yourself," but as a result of living a life opposite to that and when being in the situation of not being able to progress further, in the seventh century King James had the Bible translated from Hebrew to English thanks and this gave rise to The Puritans. The migration of these Puritans, desiring to worship God without the restrictions of the old system, gave birth to what is now the United States. God wanted to create the foundation for the Lord's return through this democratic country.
The beginnings were good, but when the United States had economic abundance, abundance in every respect, it turned away from God and was in a situation of family disintegration, juvenile delinquency and communism was threatened it; in a situation of not being able to do anything to prevent it, and since to save the world it was first necessary to take America to God's side, we crossed over to the United States and performed providential work there for forty years. I am speaking of the True Parents.
Jesus' hope was to be a True Father. To do so, he had to find God's only daughter, who had not manifested at that time. God chooses another people among whom he can give birth to his only daughter. So God's only daughter was born in Korea in 1943 through the Christian foundation that God had prepared for four thousand years. Those days were before the end of the Second World War.
World War II ended in 1945. Korea had been under the Japanese government. Its liberation came in 1945 but the Allies divided it into North and South. Divided with the northern part being a communist country and the southern part a democracy. The North had completely Sovietized and was preparing to invade the South. At that time, I was born in the North when the history of Christianity there had been brief. But from all over the world, those worshiping in spirit and in truth, knew very well about the Messiah.
All Christians expected the return of Jesus Christ coming over the clouds, but these spiritual groups knew that only by being physically born could the purpose of the divine Creation come to fulfillment. This is how I was born, amidst God's special protection through these spiritual groups. God had to protect me for me to grow up safely. Because of the faith that the Lord's return would occur around Pyongyang, my family could not think of going to the South. But God, foreseeing the future, put us in the situation of having to go to the South.
Two years after arriving in the South, the Korean War broke out. At that time, the democratic system in South Korea had not yet stabilized. How could God not do anything when seeing that situation? Although it was a country unknown to the world, sixteen UN member nations mobilized and protected democracy in the South. Why do you think that happened? Because of my mission, because I was the only begotten daughter. God's hope is that the only begotten daughter would grow up, find the one who came to take on the only begotten son's mission, and both would become True Parents.
Seeing the world's situation, I could not continue to doubt and although I was still close to being a child, in 1960 I came into the position of True Mother. In 2020, sixty years will have passed since that day. Since its inception, the work of the blessing is to give rebirth to fallen humanity through True Parents. We started with three couples and today there are thousands and thousands; we created countless blessed families.
I told you that the title was the "Role of the Chosen People." The chosen people! People God had chosen! Who are the chosen people in the twenty- first century, in the age of the True Father? It's you. All of you here today, as chosen people of the twenty-first century, have responsibilities to fulfill. In the past, for not fulfilling theirs, the Israelites paid a tremendous price. You, today's elect, must fulfill your responsibilities.
What will they be? You must be the messiah of your congregations and of your tribe. Only through the blessing in marriage is it possible for you to become messiahs. Are you willing to do that? I want to talk about you to God with pride. Enduring infinite sadness and pain in search of his lost children for six thousand years, God waited all this time for True Parents to emerge on earth and take control of his situation. He wanted to fulfill his Will two thousand years ago through Jesus Christ, but because the chosen Israelites did not receive him, it took two thousand years for the birth of the only begotten, the True Mother, to fulfill humanity's hope, God's dream of the united human family.
If the 7.6 billion people who make up humanity attend God, God can embrace them and become true sons and daughters of loyalty, of filial piety there will be no more wars, conflicts or obstacles that prevent unity. All the clergy gathered here today are messiahs of their clans and congregations. A messiah has to save people. Right? That is achieved through the blessing, through the Movement of True Family.
Will you do it that way? I hope you will work very enthusiastically for America to fulfill its filial duty to God, who has waited so long for this country to embrace the world.
