I am pleased to see you! What kind of hopes did you bring with you when you came here on this spring day, in the springtime of Heaven's providence? Why aren't you answering? Did you come without any particular thoughts?

As I look back on this day on which we celebrate the 59th anniversary of True Parents' Holy Wedding, which took place more much than a half century ago, I am filled with emotion. People have not known God's providence. Like a coat with the buttons done up in the wrong order, it had to be undone and redone in the right order. This has taken fifty years.

God had a dream, so he created all things in heaven and on earth in his image. He also created a man and a woman who were to become humankind's ancestors. However, God bestowed a growing period and a responsibility solely on human beings. That responsibility was to grow, focusing only on God, in absolute unity with the Creator, with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience.

Therefore, as the first human ancestors, they should have begun as victorious ancestors who realized Heavenly Parent's dream. However, we know that this did not happen. Today's fallen human race is the result of this failure. Although the original mind aims toward goodness and strives to come closer to God, this course takes many different forms. But even when we look at various forms of religion that have emerged throughout the world, we can see that their essence is not one hundred percent connected to Heaven. In fact, they had human-centered beginnings.

Nevertheless, since God created the universe based on the idea of eternal existence, he has allowed many religions to exist in order to teach human beings, who have fallen into ignorance. God established a chosen people with a central religion, established all the indemnity conditions to the point at which they could lay foundations from the individual level to the national level and waited patiently until the right environment emerged for the fruits to show.

Jesus' tragic course

We know that many parts of the Bible are difficult to understand. God sent Jesus Christ as his only son, one in the position of having indemnified everything. However, Jesus' mother, Mary; Zechariah's family, Judaism as a faith and the people of Israel could not fulfill their responsibilities in the end. After four thousand long years, God finally prepared an environment on which people could have hope, but human beings had once again caused him pain. This is impossible to understand, no matter how much we think about it. Yet these events occurred.

When Jesus died on the cross, to whom did he pass the keys to the kingdom of heaven? He passed them to Peter. This means we need to complete everything on earth. Although God had worked so hard to send Jesus Christ, the people had pained God's heart once again.

Early Christianity

Jesus said he would come again to hold the marriage supper of the Lamb. Later, Christianity began centered on the Apostles, through the works of rebirth that the Holy Spirit wrought. In the early days, Christians had to endure extreme hardships due to the great persecution they faced, including becoming food for lions. The Roman Empire finally recognized Christianity in ad 313. After receiving official recognition, Christianity spread its mission work across Europe, beginning from the Italian Peninsula and going all the way to Britain, from where missionaries went out throughout the world.

However, many problems arose through emphasis on the practice of faith limited by a human-centered framework. Once King James had the Bible translated into English in the seventeenth century many commoners were able to gain access to the Bible. This gave rise to the Puritan movement. This movement, under which people longed to freely relate with God in their families, gave birth to modernday America.

How sad God must have felt upon seeing Christians, who constituted a foundation, losing their way when they were supposed to form the environment in which the returning Messiah would be welcomed! God began afresh, therefore. Even so, due to people's ignorance of the providence, they continued to practice a self-centered, convenient faith, which caused many problems.

However, since Jesus said that he would return, believers waiting for that special day have spread and multiplied throughout the world. Though no one knew for sure when or how to welcome the Messiah at the Second Advent. One hundred years before I was born, Korea was unique in having such a background. Then the Holy Spirit and the Truth led Korean Christianity with power stronger than in any other nation and all Christians around the world were waiting for the Messiah to return on the clouds. There were, however, spirit-led Christian groups in Korea that were waiting for the Messiah to return in the flesh.

God guiding True Parents

God's only daughter was therefore born in 1943. This was a miracle. God's only daughter, whom Christianity should have anxiously searched for, was finally born after six thousand years. Sadly, however, that environment could not welcome her. Under God's principles of creation, people have a period of growth.

Korea's liberation took place in 1945 and the Korean War broke out in 1950. This was a time of turmoil. However, the Creator, God, needed to give time, a period of growth, to his daughter, whom he was able to send after six thousand years. The Korean Peninsula divided into the North and the South; one became communist, the other democratic. By then, North Korea had already established a robust system and was ready to advance southward while South Korea was still not well-positioned to deal with this. I was in North Korea when this was happening. I was six years old. God, however, guided our family so that I could move to the South.

You need to know this. God instructed Father, who was in South Korea, to go to North Korea. Do you understand about this? Father had to fulfill his responsibility as God's only son. He obeyed God with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience when God commanded him to go north, which was at that time a mortally dangerous place to be. You need to be aware of this.

Undertaking responsibilities

Heaven had to wait until his only daughter was able to make decisions on her own. That is how God's principles of creation work. God needed to protect me in that dangerous situation. It was like a miracle when the sixteen UN nations mobilized and protected democracy in South Korea. It was then that Father's release from Hungnam Prison came about and he went south. The work True Father had to do was to find the truth that Jesus was speaking of when he said, "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now." [John 16:12 RSV] That is why True Father wrote the manuscript of Woli Wonbon.

Until the point that he as God's only son could meet God's only daughter, he had to find disciples. Was he able to accomplish that task or was he not? Originally, prior to the Fall, Adam and Eve were able to know all of God's circumstances because they were connected with God. Likewise, I also came to know of God's providence. I realized that if I did not step forward, the realization of Father's and Heavenly Parent's dream could not occur. I was young, but I resolved to do it.

For me, the past fifty years was a time of being patient and waiting. You may not understand this well. I gave you an example a while ago. I said that it took fifty years to unbutton what had been buttoned wrongly and to button it the right way again. Do you understand this?

My proclamation

God tried to embrace the world using the Christian foundation. Likewise, as the True Parents, we sought to embrace America, which was going the wrong way. Four years ago, in particular, I declared I am God's only daughter in front of a gathering of American Clergy Leadership Council pastors and called them to work with me in achieving God's will. Many of the pastors wondered why they had not come to this natural understanding.

That was their response. That is why when I proclaim that I am God's only daughter, people around the world welcome it; particularly when I did so in Senegal -- an Islamic country -- in 2018. This is what their religious leader said: "We Muslims welcome God's only daughter." He has said he would become my son. He is determined to conduct a national-level blessing ceremony this November in Senegal. This is a busy year. He also stated that together with me he will conduct national level blessings in various places around the world.

Rotting on the vine

How about Korea? Korea, are you confident? Can you bring our nation's president, with the many problems he is facing, to a blessing event? I have said that this is the springtime of the providence. We should not miss this time. Despite our shortcomings, we have been sowing seeds in every corner of the earth until now. The time has come to harvest the fruits. Or should the fruits go unharvested?

The Christian realm and the world have welcomed the True Mother, God's only daughter. Then, shouldn't heavenly unified Korea, which must become the flagship nation, accomplish its responsibilities? Should it or not? We cannot wait any longer. We must achieve victory without fail.

Set holy family traditions

The United States sent out missionaries to the world in 1975. Many American missionaries established themselves in Africa. Two years ago, a father who had done mission work for more than forty years ascended to the spirit world. His son is now working in his place. The father appeared to his son and said to him, "Please help True Mother." This son has a mother and a younger sibling. He shared his story with his mother and now the mother and younger brother are fully supporting him; they are working together as one. They are not receiving any support. Instead, they raise funds to sustain their public mission.

This is how a blessed family should be. There are many who have their names registered in Cheonbowon. Since God's creation is eternal, your efforts should not end with the first generation. Your children and grandchildren should align with True Mother, the only daughter and thereby maintain a loyal family that remains forever unchanging.

The elder blessed families, especially, must accomplish their responsibilities. They should guide their children and grandchildren to join their public efforts. This is the example they should set as elder families. Will you do that? Each one of you must complete your own responsibilities and achieve victory. I sincerely pray that I, God's only daughter, will recognize many blessed families and that they will receive my seal while I am still on earth.

Christianity's Mission from the Viewpoint of God's Providence and the USA

Respected dignitaries, ladies and gentlemen, my beloved religious leaders and all of you blessed families that have received the blessing from True Parents, I welcome you all. Family Federation members from all around America, I am happy to meet you.

Today, we have gathered to realize Heavenly Parent's dream and all humankind's desire. Through receiving the blessing from True Parents, the door by which you can stand in the position of true children in front of our Heavenly Parent has opened. Today, I wish to speak to you on the topic, Christianity's mission from the viewpoint of God's providence and United States' responsibilities."

Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ came to earth as God's only son. Unfortunately, he could not complete everything, and as he went the way of the cross, he prophesied that he would come again. Afterward, through the resurrecting work of the Holy Spirit and the Apostles' work -- as is recorded in the Bible -- the Christian cultural sphere expanded. However, in the church's early days, Christianity received severe opposition and passed through unimaginable difficulties.

Then, in 313 A. D., Christianity was officially permitted by the Roman Empire. It expanded from the Italian Peninsula, through continental Europe to the British Isles.

Mission work and exploitation

Then, from the United Kingdom, Christian missionaries went out into the world. Unfortunately they didn't understand Jesus' essence. They did not understand the principles through which God created the universe nor the principles through which he led the providence. In Jesus' teachings, it reads, "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Unfortunately, these missionaries, who went out in Christ's name, placed their nations' interests and their self-interests first. In other words, rather than a culture of giving, they established a culture of taking away from others.

In the seventeenth century, King James translated the Bible, which was written in Hebrew and Greek, into English, and as a result, many ordinary citizens gained access to God's word. To this day, because they failed to understand Christ's essence, they have emphasized secularism and secular traditions even among religious believers, creating many mistakes. For example, from the midst of the Christian sphere, communism emerged claiming God was dead. This is humanity's mistake.

At that time, ordinary believers did not wish to practice a secular faith. They wanted to worship God freely in their own homes. In wishing to do so, they crossed an ocean and settled in a new continent.

This is the genesis of today's America. However, even they could not understand Heaven's providence. Originally, God created the heavens and the earth in his own image -- and then created the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve. God gave human beings responsibilities. During their growth period, they had to grow to perfection while maintaining absolute oneness with God. However, during their growth period, Adam and Eve became self-centered and allowed greed to consume them; that is the origin of today's fallen humanity.

Christianity's expectation

God, through our human ancestors, wished to become the Heavenly Parent of humanity, but Adam and Eve ruined that dream. Nevertheless, since God, had created based on the principles of creation that the universe is eternal, God has had to go through the unwanted and painful history of the providence of restoration through indemnity.

In the Bible, it is written that God chose the people of Israel, who being in the position of indemnifying everything over a long period of four thousand biblical years, established a national-level foundation. God waited until that time and finally sent his only son Jesus and proclaimed, "This is my beloved son."

Still, even Jesus' mother, Mary, Zachariah's family, the Jewish leaders and the Israelites, did not fulfill their responsibilities in relation to Jesus. Through Jesus, God wished to realize his dream. Jesus knows how painful it was for Heaven to see, once again, such a sad and painful outcome. That is why he said, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." [Matthew 26:39]

Once again humankind brought sadness to God that could not be atoned for. God had created a man and a woman in accordance with the principles of creation. As Jesus went to the cross, he prophesied that he would come again. Today's Christians, however, say that they are saved by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. Do you know how far this viewpoint is from Heaven's providential view?

Since God created us to be eternal, Jesus prophesied that he would come again to host the marriage supper of the Lamb. So whom should Christianity await today? Prior to waiting for the True Parents, they needed to meet God's only daughter, the person who was to become the True Mother.

Korea's course

God raises central figures and nations and when they fail in their responsibilities, Heaven finds and establishes another chosen people. Just as you saw through the video today, God's only daughter was born in 1943 in Korea.

Korea's situation was extremely difficult during that time. Righteous men and women wishing for Korea's independence, notably Christian believers (when Christianity had not yet even celebrated its centenary in Korea) and young students, rose up during the March 1 Independence Movement. This year marks its 100th anniversary. The wish of all these students and Christian believers was for Korea's protection.

According to the principles of creation, God sent his only daughter and granted her a time period through which she could reach maturity. In 1945, Korea was liberated and in 1950 the Korean War erupted. At that time, Korea was powerless. It was divided into the communist North and the democratic South.

South Korea at the time had embraced a democratic regime, but it took time for that system to fully develop. That is why, in 1950, when North Korean communist forces invaded South Korea, South Korea was unprepared. Like a miracle,

Today, we have gathered to realize the dream of Heavenly Parent and the desire of all humankind. Through receiving the Blessing from True Parents, the door by which you can stand in the position of true children in front of our Heavenly Parent has opened.

In 1960, the time had come when I could decide by myself, and in that year I ascended to the position of a True Parent.

Fallen people yearn to return to God but they cannot go before God by themselves. This is because, due to the Fall, human beings were born into a lineage not connected to God, the fallen lineage of Satan. It is only through the Marriage Blessing of the unique True Parents that a change of lineage can take place and fallen human beings can be born again as God's children.

If key figures had understood the providence, Christianity would have become the foundation. At that time, filled with the spirit and the truth, the spirit of Christianity in Korea was stronger than in the rest of the world.

Since Korea was in such a difficult situation, more than ever, Koreans yearned for the Messiah. Because of such an earnest desire, Heaven sent our True Parents. Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ had to go the way of the cross because the people of the nation where he was born did not recognize him.

Yet, True Parents' Marriage Blessings and the True Family Movement took root in an environment with Christian opposition and we have been continuing these around the world for almost fifty years.

The time has come! We can no longer hesitate. There are many problems arising all over the world that cannot be solved by human efforts and power. There are ethnic, religious, cultural and ideological walls.

In addition, due to human ignorance, we have created a lot of pollutants and caused pollution. If we consider this country alone, we can see that it has suffered many natural disasters due to global warming. Globally, throughout the nations of the world, many are dying.

We cannot sit idly by and watch. This world, which our Creator, God, created for us from the outset, is suffering and dying due to our ignorance. As God's true children, we cannot just sit by and observe this situation. Would you agree? [Yes.]

According to scientists, after 2030, there will be more plastic waste in the ocean than there will be fish. As blessed families that are aware of this, what should we do? We should attend God, the Lord of creation, live in accordance with the eternal principles of creation and find the right solution. Only then can we solve these problems.

It is true that we are living comfortable lives today due to humankind's development, especially thanks to the work of scientists. However, this convenient lifestyle is causing many problems. What I am saying is that we should live in line with the principles originally established by God.

Through the cycles of nature, everything is meant to last forever, but because people abuse the natural world, the balance of these cycles is disturbed and many problems arise. We, therefore, feel the limits of the resources we have for the benefit of all living things on earth.

Blessed couples who received the Blessing today, you would not want your beloved children to live in an even worse environment than today's. Isn't that so?

We must find solutions to these problems before it is too late. This means that self-centeredness, and nations that place their national interests first, will ultimately not survive.

One way or another, we have to work together to get rid of pollution. We must combine our efforts and work in unity in order to do that. Many organizations around the world are deeply concerned about global environmental problems and future food security.

However, they too also think of themselves first. The only answer and way forward are the blessed families, those who have received True Parents' Blessing.

Throughout history, there have been many cultural developments, but there have also been many difficulties. This is because there was no center. So, today… In particular, America is a nation that Heaven has blessed. God has sought to save the world through its Christian culture.

Originally, Native Americans were living in this country. However, God worked with the Puritans and blessed America to become the central democratic nation of the world within a short time of less than 200 years.

This blessing, however, is not for America itself. As I earlier said, with blessing from Heaven comes responsibility. Heaven blessed America so that America can embrace all of humanity.

However, the leader of this nation and leaders of other countries in the world are engaged in politics and actions that are centered on their own interests. Going this way means there is no hope for the future.

All of you here that have received the Blessing today, please fulfill your responsibilities as tribal messiahs, and all ministers of religion participating today please go to your places of worship and accomplish your responsibilities. We have to start a movement that will bring this country to attend our Heavenly Parent, our Creator God, even one day sooner.

This is the only way for America to fulfill its heavenly mission as a nation blessed by God. In this way, God's dream and humanity's yearning to see the heavenly kingdom of one family of humankind under God can be realized. Today is the blessed day of the realization of this dream.

The West Coast is Subregion 5 of the Family Federation in America. FFWPU has been divided into five areas. Now Subregion 5 is on fire! Am I right? [Yes!] Would you like to take this flame to the Midwest, and to the East Coast? Will you make this country a country that our Heavenly Parent loves and cherishes? [Yes!]

Around us, many unacceptable things are happening, things that people should never do. We must get wipe away all of these things!

On the path to a peaceful world, do we need guns and swords? On the path to a peaceful world, we do not need guns and other weapons. You all know very well, that as a result of these, innocent lives are taken every day.

We can no longer just watch these things happen. What should we do? Let us practice true love. This can only be achieved through the Blessing.

Respected dignitaries from home and abroad, beloved leaders of Cheon Il Guk, Heaven has given us a great blessing and as we welcome spring, when all of nature is coming alive, we can feel the fact that heaven and earth can receive Heaven's blessing in the springtime of the providence. I would like to thank all of you for coming to attend the inauguration of the HJ Magnolia Foundation. The HJ Magnolia Global Medical Foundation is going to have Dr. Sang-gyun Kim as the inaugural chairman of this foundation. I would like to congratulate you.

Beloved leaders, God, the Creator, created the world for the sake of his beloved children and dreamed of a world of peace, unity and happiness― one family under God. God wanted to realize that ideal. However due to the excessive greed of the first human ancestors God's original ideal world could not be realized and as a result, the world became fallen, a world of division, a world of conflict. Therefore, God who is our vertical True Parent has sent our True Parents to earth so that through our True Parents we can now receive the blessing and connect to God once again as his beloved children. The path opened for human beings to receive the blessing and be born again from the position of orphans.

In the original world of God's ideal, there is no disease; there is no suffering. Therefore, True God wanted the world to be a world full with love, filled with blessings.

However, due to the fall of the first human ancestors, God's ideal was frustrated and a world of true love became a world of sadness, a world of tears, a world of suffering. However, God has continuously worked to save fallen human beings from their difficult situation, guiding human history, the history of the restoration for the salvation of human beings over six thousand long years, sending countless prophets and countless leaders. For over 6,000 years, God prepared and sent his only son Jesus Christ, but due to the ignorance and opposition of the people, Jesus had to take the miserable path of the cross. However, God who is the vertical True Parent of humanity has been working to save human beings. God never gave up on this mission and that is why in the original ideal, God has wished to realize an ideal world and eventually, upholding God's earnest wish, God's only son and only daughter were born on this peninsula, in Korea. True Parents came to Korea to bring about the salvation of humanity.

Substantiating hyo jeong

Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon are the True Parents. They brought victory and they became the True Parents of humanity. True Parents have taken a path of blood, sweat and tears to realize heavenly tribes, heavenly nations, heavenly continents and the heavenly world in attendance to God. This was a path covered in blood, sweat and tears. There was a time when True Parents could not look ahead. They were in the midst of a desert sandstorm, looking for a needle. Yet, True Parents were able to find that victory and history thanks them. True Mother was able to restore God's stature as the True Parent of humanity. True Parents have invested everything, They have worked continuously, investing themselves, risking their lives for the restoration and salvation of human beings.

Whenever there is a mother, we know there are children. The Mother always wishes for the children's welfare. Every time the mother hears the cries of a child, she immediately strives to sacrifice herself for the sake of the child. A mother's entire focus and attention is solely on the children. It is the same for us. In particular, Heavenly Mother's heart, how earnest would it be to save human beings from this world of sadness, this world of sorrow and pain. In particular, looking at the children who are suffering from all types of diseases and all types of ailments, how painful must it be?
