Tithing and Method of managing the all things:

Once you carefully review the concept of tithing, you find it contains really fearful meanings. In a verse of the Bible, you find that you are required to offer your tithe. In other word, you must offer one out ten you earn. “Does God actually see what you offer your tenth? What is really tithing?” some people may questions it. This means that if you take one step for God, you may go all ten steps for Him.

For example, if your parents celebrate their birthdays or special 60th birthday, you may kill a cow and put away a pig for celebration meals. Then do they eat all of the meals prepared for the celebration. They do not. They graciously accept all meals prepared for their birthday. However, they are not able to eat them all. Actually, they eat a small portion. But, even though they only eat a small part of what is offered; there is a condition built that they eat each and every food prepared.

By the same token, tithing signifies that you offer the entire material possession to God by offering one tenth of your material possession to God. Even though you are not offering all you have, it is significant and valuable that you offer a small portion of all that with utmost sincerity. By offering one, the rest—nine—will be considered holy. Therefore, a person who lives a life of tithing will never perish. On the contrary, his storehouse grows day by day.

On top of this, a public person can administer all things with the managing method of the public world; thus he can have public dominion over all things. You must know that this is in fact the Heavenly Law. Once you understand this principle, you do not sin regardless of what you say or do—or even act in violence. Your act is to correct sins, and then you are not committing any sins. So, you must be discerning and dividing between good and evil and live for the greater good.

There is no one more fearful than people who live entirely for Heaven and earth. The people who live for Heaven and earth are religious people. However, they have been persecuted, mocked, scorned, and discriminated against; and they have been chased away. But looking from this Universal Public Law, they are the more public people.

Would it be good or bad if you are chased away without any reason? I am sure that if you face such a situation, it is terrible when you are going through such a time. However, you will enjoy a positive result. The beginning is bad, but in the end all will be well. On the contrary, if you pursue the world goods for self gains, it may be good in the beginning. But, its result is bad. In other words, such a person will perish. Evil seems prospering at the beginning; however, evil will perish in the end. Goodness seems perishing but in the end goodness will definitely prosper. Thus, you must understand that the public life seems losing and perishing at the beginning, however, will prosper as a consequence.

A Family Life of Faith Educates the Children

By offering a tithe from your material possessions to God, you can establish a condition equal to having offered all that you have. Even if you do not offer everything to God, offering a portion of it with all of your heart and mind will enable the rest to be considered holy. The person who tithes will never perish. As days go by, his storage room will be filled with more material blessings.

I am at a loss for words before a devoted person. As leader of the Unification Church, when I am considering which of two people is better, I do not take into account who is handsome, but rather I look at the direction of their mind. In other words, I see whether their mind is public or personal.

Parents should set a good example in their life of faith. In their family, they should show their children, in their prayer life or family worship, a life of faith that is exemplary in every way. They should help children realize the importance of Pledge time. It is not enough just to hold Pledge service during that hour. As parents, they should teach their children about God's will.

You should keep the official time for services. Then you will surely prosper.

Whether or not you participate in church gatherings will become an issue; whether or not you fulfill your responsibility in church activities will become an issue; and whether or not you become a good example as a parent in front of your children in family life will become an issue.

In order to educate children, parents should first practice accordingly. The parents should be a model of loyalty to God's will. They should stand in the position where the children regard them with such awe so that they would not utter a word against whatever the parents say. If not, the children will not follow them.

In regard to church life, children will observe their parents and compare their actions with what they understand of God's will and the Principle. When children see that their parents neglect church responsibilities and do not live according to headquarters' directions, while at the same time expecting their children to live in a principled way, then they will surely sneer at their parents.

First, you should be meticulous in your church life. For this, you should strictly observe the official hours for worship. You should be a good example by attending service at the official hour.

Parents should set a good example in their life of faith. In the family, they should show their children how fervently they practice all aspects of a life of faith, including prayer life and family services. They should help the children recognize how important the time for Pledge is. They should not just hold Pledge service at that particular time, but as parents, they should also teach their children about God's will.

Blessed families should teach their children how to offer the Sabbath day to God by showing them an exemplary life of offering devotion from the break of day in order to prepare for the service. But in reality they do whatever they want to do. They do not pray, offer devotions, study the Principle, or witness in the name of a life of living faith. If the Sunday Service starts at 10:30, they should leave for church at 9:30 or 10:00. Instead of doing this, they leave home late and rush into their seats in the middle of the service. Such a family will be accused. As parents, no matter how much they educate their children, it will not influence them at all.

Think about it. How many people come before Sunday Service and help prepare for it? Many are just arriving when the sermon is about to begin, after the singing of the holy songs. How can we call such people followers of God's will? No matter how well they make excuses, they are living a private-minded life, not a public-minded one. There is nothing we can hope for or expect from such people. Therefore, you should seek a fresh understanding of God's will and go forth with the resolution to be conscientious in public life and to be a good example in private life.

All Blessed Families, without exception, should arrive before the church service starts and create an atmosphere of grace for the many types of people who will attend, so that they may experience grace. If you create a foundation of heart to support the minister before he comes up to give the sermon, the speaker will be stimulated by the fervent expressions on the members' faces. The number of such members determines the development of the church.

Pledge service should not be done only on Sunday mornings. Basically, we should do it every day. When you rise in the morning, you should first do Pledge service facing headquarters. It is an official ceremony. However, if we do Pledge service like that every day, there can be adverse effects. In order to avoid these side effects, as a condition, we do pledge only on Sunday mornings and on the mornings of the first day of each month. Ideally, we should be doing it every day.

There are morning meetings everyday between the king of a nation and his subjects. In a Korean family, the children first greet their parents when the parents rise in the morning. Isn't this part of Korean tradition? In order to indemnify fallen history, you should establish the finest set of laws among all laws, including the laws of filial duty to one's parents. Even for a nation, you should establish laws superior to the highest existing standard.

In Korean society, during the three-year mourning period after their parents have passed away, the children offer meals to the departed spirits of their parents every morning and evening. Also, whenever they go out or return home, they give a greeting towards the altar of their parents. Aren't there such traditions in Korean society? You have to do better than that. Does what you do now precisely fulfill the formalities of Heaven from the viewpoint of God's will? It does not. Far from it.

You should consider public anniversaries and events of our church as part of your very own life and mobilize yourself. Families who do not do this are failures as Blessed Families.

Just as I instructed at the time of the 1968 Blessing of 430 couples, you also should become tribal messiahs. You must fulfill this mission. For instance, the 36 couples from the Kim tribe should be organized centered on members of the Kim family who have already received the Blessing, just as the 36 Couples are organized in the church around me. If it is too difficult to establish 36 couples, you should at least become the ancestors of 12 couples. Then you should become the ancestors of your tribe and organize your tribe into twelve branch tribes. When you accomplish this, your entire tribe will be included in those twelve branch tribes, thus becoming a tribe of your direct lineage.

When you work in an agricultural community, you are not to work alone. A husband and wife together are to report the day's schedule to God before going out to work, and they are to report to God after work and then eat dinner. You should know how strict is the God-centered standard of life that regulates all these things. There are rules of family life for women and for men, respectively.

The path you should take is one of systematizing the great heavenly rules and then following them. You must follow this path. Should you not do so, then your life will lose its meaning.

You can now build up a tribal foundation in your lifetime. How glorious this is! You should be grateful to know this. Yet, if you cannot fulfill that responsibility, your family will still be held accountable for it. In this respect, of course, the responsibility of the family is important, but now families should take upon themselves the mission of tribal messiah.

You must pray. In deciding the time to pray, you should try praying at daybreak, in the morning, at lunch, in the evening, and even at eleven or twelve at night. When you lead a life of prayer like that for many years, you should know which period of time is the best time for you to pray. Knowing this, you should offer devotion to God at the time that is right for you.

If possible, you should pray with a person who has a high standard of grace. By doing so, you will receive grace through that person. If your husband has a higher standard of grace than you and if he leads an exemplary life of faith, you will come to receive grace because of him. After receiving grace in this way, you will look upon your husband as the most handsome man in the world. In reverse, if the husband receives grace through his wife, his wife will surely look most beautiful to him; she will be the most beautiful woman in the world. This is how couples should have been.

Thus, when you are awake, you want to see each other, and whisper to each other throughout the night. That is not something that brings ruin but rather prosperity.

You should shed tears and enter a serious state of mind that melts the bone marrow and calls for a one-toone showdown. You should enter a state where you can have give and take with God with such an obedient mind that God cries when you cry and you cry when God cries. Whatever happens, you should be able to do that. To do so, you need to pray. You need a root and that root is prayer.

When offering devotion, you must enter a position of absolute faith. You should enter the position where you have absolute faith in God and His will. God cooperates with you only when you are in such a position.

When you pray, you should not foolishly doubt whether your prayer will be answered or not. You should be able to pray, saying: "Father! I am the only one who remains. Without me, this nation and world will disappear. Oh Father! I alone remain in this state of commitment for the foundation, for which You have toiled for six thousand years. Am I not the only one who is close to Your will that will surely be fulfilled by You? Although my position is important as such, I have not prepared myself yet. Still, you have given me the order. Thus, I will prepare myself with the conditions and foundations enabling me to follow that order, and I will represent this entire people. Isn't this Your providence for restoration?" Prayer is needed even for fulfilling goals.

A long time ago, when the families of loyal subjects received something good, they first offered it to the king of the nation. That was the rule of the life of loyalty in Korea. From that perspective, Korean courtesy reflects something central to heaven that cannot be found in any other nation. Confucians follow the teachings of Confucius, and there is quite a lot of traditional conduct prescribed in Confucian teachings that is close to heavenly law. You should ask your descendants to perform a sacrificial rite for you in the future. So far, the regulations of life and the procedure for holding a funeral have not been established centering upon the Principle, but once the standard is established in the future, you should follow it.

You should develop and protect the vitality of life in order to survive and grow, no matter what kind of storm comes, overcoming your environment and taking root deeply, centered upon the belief that God is always with you in every situation. If you become like that, it will not be a problem for God to set up His laws. But if you do not develop like that, it becomes problematic.

Prayer: Please remember Your children

When we think about Your profound guidance, Father, in making the people of the Unification Church pass through a historical era of suffering because You loved us specially, we are truly grateful for all the days of our past. We earnestly hope You remember Your children who are still walking the path of suffering today, because they do not yet know Your Will.

Father, please allow us to make our way through this path, no matter what difficulties may come. We sincerely hope and pray, Father, that You connect the many spirits in the spirit world with the spiritual mediums of the present and that You bless the people who have come forth yearning for the true path and the true vision this nation should head toward. We know that, though we are so unworthy, You have called us and brought us together because it is Your divine Will to resolve such a historical relationship. Though we may not look like much on the outside, please grant that we may become Your children who know how to be grateful that You have called us especially to fulfill this historic and epic mission.

Father! In Your presence we are as naked children. Therefore You need to dress us, feed us and raise us in Your embrace. However, up to the present we have not been able to relate with You as sons and daughters. Please allow our minds and bodies to stand in that position, and please bless us, that we may become Your sons and daughters. We don't own anything in this world, we don't possess even one thing and we have nothing we can proudly show others; nevertheless, we do have this relationship with You as sons and daughters who can grow up in Your embrace, for which we are grateful.

We know that this kind of relationship is a privilege that represents the authority of victory, and we must know how to be grateful for it. We are not much to look at, but please allow us to become sons and daughters whom You can treasure and be proud of. Even if we go a difficult path, we go together with You, Father. Even if we have a sorrowful experience, we have it with You. Hence even if we stand in a difficult position, please lead us, Father, that we may be able to comfort You. Please allow us to embrace the day of hopes and dreams deeper and deeper in our hearts and allow us to become Your true sons and daughters who are able to fuel and lead the advance toward tomorrow.

However thorny our path, please allow us to resolve anew never to become a burden. We have come to know You, Father, and we know which direction You are going. Accordingly, when following Your path, even if we become injured and need to carry a heavier cross, we know that only in such times can we comfort You. Therefore we earnestly hope and pray that You will allow us to become Your children who go forth with all our devotion. Despite having endured numerous ordeals, this pitiful people, in this small corner of Asia, have not perished, because they have had Your special protection. We are truly grateful to You for this, Father.

Father, please enlighten this people about the path they need to follow henceforth. We are worried that a time of unrest surrounding this nation is approaching us from all directions and that a time of difficulty is approaching this people. Please extend Your guidance to us. We can't help but think about our solemn responsibility. We have to accomplish the mission of restoration for You, Father, by adopting the proper attitude, dressing in white, building an altar and offering bows before You. This is something we cannot entrust to others or commission others to do. We should wholeheartedly devote all our energies to it and must dedicate our entire minds, bodies and will to fulfill this responsibility. In so doing, we must manifest Your love and sympathy.

We should realize that it is only when they are centered on such a bond that this people can overcome the hardships of Golgotha, which they need to transcend. We know that now is the time to do so. The more we think about the fact that all the paths of suffering this people had to walk were related to Your Will, the more we must strive to become the people You desire us to be, since we have set forth after pledging to take responsibility for the historical mission You entrusted to us. Furthermore, we earnestly hope and pray, Father, that You will not allow us to become pitiful people who bring You sorrow, but rather people You can be proud of before the world.

In the course of history, no one has known You, Father. No one has known Your wish, Your Will, Your heart or Your situation; no one has known how Your ideology can flourish. Be that as it may, please allow us at this time to become true sons and daughters who can understand everything about You and who can yearn for You with a heart of compassion and mercy. We earnestly hope and pray for this.

Since we know that on this morning the lonely people of the Unification Church, spread out across the entire Korean Peninsula, are on their knees entreating You, please be with them and please connect them through Your profound love. Even if the ropes of hardship are tied together and strain against us, our relationship with You must never be severed. Even if everything is eliminated, please leave us Your love, and even if everything is put aside, please leave us Your power. We pray that we may welcome the day of liberation that is approaching the people. Furthermore, allow us to become Your children who know that, however much we have cherished the hope of tomorrow in our hearts, we can never be accepted before Your Will.

We should not accept our present selves and how we have lived so far. When we think about the fact that, no matter how we look at it, our beginning stemmed from the Father, we must return the fruits of our life to You. We must move things for You, Father, with this kind of mindset, whether we live or die.

Accordingly, we should learn how to harmonize all relationships in front of You, and we should commit ourselves to the hope of tomorrow. We earnestly hope and pray You will allow us to know clearly that only when we stand in such a position can You be with us in a solid relationship. We also sincerely hope and desire that You grant us the awareness that we need to shed tears of remorse with all our heart and lament bitterly and endlessly when we realize our immaturity, and become filled with so much shame that we cannot show ourselves before You.

Father, we have called out to You endlessly. Now we should become mature children who can call You, knowing clearly whether You are a Father of joy or a Father of sadness. To this day, we have known You as the Father who gives us blessings, the Father who comforts us and the Father who delivers us from our difficult ordeals. However, allow us to know that we have the responsibility to comfort You, to rescue You and to take charge of the world. In doing so, Father, we should become children who can forget ourselves and shed tears of sympathy for You whenever we see that You are lonely, or in a difficult and pitiful state.

Please grant that we may become children who can go forward acknowledging that this is our life philosophy and life course. We sincerely hope and pray that, if there are any such sons and daughters, You will grant them more of Your profound and virtuous love, and please praise them for being sons and daughters with whom You can share the remaining circumstances of restoration. Up until the present, when we have felt sadness, we have often grieved for ourselves. However, we earnestly hope and desire that now, when our sorrows go to extremes, You allow us to become sons and daughters who grieve thinking of our sorrow as Your own.

Please allow us to know that, no matter how wonderful tomorrow's hope may be, if there is no solid bond between You and us we cannot pin our future hopes on even the best wishes and ideologies. We sincerely hope and ask that You allow us to become Your sons and daughters who know that if You, the One who sought us out and with whom we have a bond, are in sad circumstances, we should shoulder the cross of Your sorrow.

Since we know that Your Will, which came before us, is noble and precious, please allow us to go forward again and again, knowing that the mission we have been commanded to carry out is the mission to destroy the camp of evil, dedicating every last bit of our energy and life while wholeheartedly endeavoring to overcome all hardships. Father, we earnestly hope and pray that You allow us to become children who spare nothing when we prepare ourselves for such a task. Please do not abandon Your sons and daughters who are praising Your name today, who are yearning for Your embrace and Your deep heart. Thus allow us to bring about the sacred day of glory, the one hour of glory, the one hour of grace and the one moment of resurrection.

Just as it is now springtime, please grant that the 1970s be the springtime of the Unification Church. Accordingly, allow us to march forward toward a summertime that overflows with glory. We sincerely hope and pray that You allow us to be children who can make a new resolution to that end. A small number of people have gathered here. They have not come here to go this path for the sake of a specific person; rather, they have gathered here because they wish to draw near to You and wish You to give them the remaining mission. Therefore we earnestly ask and hope that You bless them.

Please protect Your children who are working hard in all parts of the world. Please guide the Japanese church members as they follow their path while shouldering their historic and monumental responsibility. We humbly request that You extend Your divine protection over the various events scheduled to take place in Japan in the future as well as over all the events we are planning here. We humbly pray all this in the name of the True Parents. Aju!

The strength of the bond with True Parents

The True Parents are the true parents whom all humankind must seek. Their existence makes it possible for true goodness to be established. So what kind of people are they? They are the foothold enabling you to move with God. They stand as an altar that bridges the gap between God and humankind. They are like the bridge by which we cross over the world of death. They are the position where you can be with God, the focal point enabling you to bond together with God as Parent and child, and become one body with Him. It is the point of origin where two boundaries that became separated from each other can converge, and where humankind can become one with God for the first time since being separated from Him as a result of the Fall. The True Parents are the ones who stand in the position of the indemnity sacrifice.

If there were a place where we could go and call on God in times of desperation and have Him forget all that has happened during the past millennium and come forward so that we could form a relationship with Him, such a place would be so valuable to us that we would not exchange it for anything in the world.

God sent the True Parents so that humankind, which is not qualified to be in His company or to form a bond with Him, can do so in relaxed surroundings. How then are we to give thanks for this grace by which the bond of the True Parents has been given to us unconditionally? How much did you thank God? In response to the grace by which you are now able to receive salvation, how much have you thought about how you have been given the opportunity to be jubilant and take a vow of victory? How much have you realized that you are making a new start with unlimited hope and eternal values? This is the question.

How much must God have been longing for the True Parents, whom He knew could realize His historical desire to find His sons and daughters! Consider two standards of longing: God's longing for the True Parents, and your longing, you who are in the world of death and long to be saved from it. You would normally place greater importance on the True Parents than you would God, esteem them as more precious, and value them more than you would God. Until now, though, this has not been the case.

How much must God have been looking forward to that occasion when humankind can be with True Parents, establish a bond with them, and stand face-to-face with them! Each of you must be able to say: "I will achieve such a position and I will lay the foundation for such a victory." The important thing is how strongly you are determined to overcome any difficulty, however great; that you will view this position as a turning point that determines all the values in your life, and that you will make this bond your primary motivating force. Viewed from this perspective, we need to recognize how fraudulent we have been. We must realize how much we have failed to establish our own positions as we wandered as aimlessly as the wind.

Are we people with whom God can live? No. We need a savior. What kind of person is this savior? He is the one who substantiates the bond with True Parents. From this perspective, how extraordinary the bond with True Parents is! Thanks to True Parents, I am able to begin a true life, and undertake a relationship of new life. Through this relationship of life, you are able to initiate new families, new societies, new nations and a new world. Also, you must realize that through that relationship, you can obtain the essential factors for the victory to resolve all the paths of life and death of the past two millennia.

There is no self there. God is not the one who must walk the way of suffering in order to save the fallen world. He does not have to deal with the fallen world. He comes forward with a new bond of true love. He comes to us with new hope and a new foundation for restoration. These are the circumstances in which the bond between God and you is formed. It is a bond by which the four directions can be brought into oneness, and it is linked at one point of origin so that it can destroy the world of death and establish the foundation for a new heaven and earth in the bright future. In this way, the world can make a new start by practicing the parent-child relationship.

No sword or power can break the bond between you and the True Parents –not even the power of Satan. Why? Because this bond possesses the special authority to break through all of today's problems and bring salvation to humankind, and because the power that humankind has historically desired has been concentrated in this bond, or stronghold. Thus, no historical concentration of power would be strong enough to break this relationship. In this way, the True Parents are the ones whom God has sent forth as historical sacrifices for the purpose of doing away with all evil and making a new victorious beginning based on a new bond.

In the same way that God is in a serious position and miserable circumstances, we should be also. The Father's circumstances should be felt as our own. Unless someone appears on this earth to fulfill the duty of a child and comfort God, there will never be a way to resolve historical problems.

Even if we were to find ourselves in extremely difficult circumstances, we should not stand before God hoping to receive His sympathy, but rather we should stand in a position to sympathize with Him. Jesus was the crystallization of all the elements that were carefully accumulated throughout history in the context of such a bond. Yet, because Jesus could not realize God's will, the returning Lord must continue it and go that way. The True Parents are the concentration of all historic hopes. God has sent them to represent the whole as the condition for the restructuring of history.

You bond with the True Parents not from the spirit world, but from the earth. Since the True Parents come to the earth in corporeal form, they can answer when you call on them and sympathize with you when you are in difficulty. You cannot imagine how blessed you are that you can meet True Parents on the same horizontal plane.

Until now, God has worked to overcome all the difficulties that might be faced in order to achieve a decisive victory. Here, the question is whether you have become the princes of victory. You must be able to say that you have become one with that heart and are completely inseparable from it. In other words, the pivotal axis of your life has to be the conviction that you are with God and that you are together with the True Parents. Only if each of you becomes the self that can continue on the same course for a thousand years, ten thousand years even, will a linkage be established between God's Kingdom on earth and His kingdom in the spirit world. This means that you will be the masters of heaven and the masters of earth, and then God's Kingdom on earth and in the spirit world will be opened up for the first time.

Such a bond is not something formed in a position of comfort. It is formed in a position of extreme difficulty, a position so serious that it could not possibly be any more serious, a position where life and death are on the line, a position where there is an increased level of risk.

That is why the Bible says, "Whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Jesus' expression may sound archaic, but this is the normal approach and attitude for going the way of restoration and for progressing through the world of heart. It is clear that each person must strive to achieve such a state, and that path will become the true course.

Prayer: Please Let Us Fulfill the Missions of People Who Are Going the Way of the Will

Father! Today also the Will of your providence is being carried out. We feel your Will in our cells, and no matter what anyone says, we will have to become people who carry the responsibility of having to walk step by step truthfully in the direction of the summit which you desire. We know that there are many times when we forget that we are such people.

We know that there is a way of restoration which cannot be gone without going through the course of the pioneer which humankind must absolutely go. As for handling this mission, as family members of the Unification Church, please let us stand in a position of being able to be of help and not to be a burden, by giving all the strength we have, and going over the crest of the individual the crest of the family, the crest of the tribe, the crest of the people, and the crest of the nation, which you left for us. We earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to become children who adapt ourselves to the Will and who know that going out first before the church says, "Let's go," is the way of walking the normal path.

Please remember your children who have endured and remained until now. Please let us re-determine ourselves for the hope of tomorrow, and we earnestly ask that you will allow us to become your sons and daughters who, together with the Will, are able to go powerfully over the crest after crest that will approach us in the future along the course of our lives. And we earnestly hope and desire that you will give us the blessing of becoming sons and daughters who become your joy by meeting again in the position of final victory, and whom you are able to set forth and boast about.

Please take us as your children who are able to go over the historical crest that you are leading us over by your taking charge of everything about today, and by your taking charge of all our future lives. We have prayed all these things in the holy name of the True Parents. Amen.

The Seonghwa Student

Establishment of the Seonghwa Student Council
October 23, 1955, Cheongpadong, Korea

The Seonghwa Student Council was founded on October 23, 1955. In the beginning of that month, Father was found innocent of draft evasion and released from Seodaemun Prison. The headquarters church was then moved to Yeongsan-gu, Cheongpadong. On October 16, Sunday school was opened. It was on this foundation that the Seonghwa Student Council, encompassing students in elementary school, middle school and high school, was founded. This was the result of activities the founding preparatory committee, under the guidance of Rev. Won Pil Kim, carried out since September of that year. High school graduates this year are the 59th batch of Seonghwa students.

"The term itself -- Seonghwa student -- can represent our church history. What you are doing now, the path you are following, will influence the many people that will follow God's will in future generations. If you fail to overcome the difficulties you face or fail to fulfill your responsibilities even though you are in a position through which you must overcome them, you will receive judgment that is tens or thousands of times greater. Those who graduated from the class of Seonghwa students represent the church. You must become people, who do not become burdens to the church in front of difficulties it should overcome, but instead become people that can assist the church in overcoming them. Only by doing so can you find the path to the people, nation or the world. From this perspective, you must be able to overcome the crosses you each carry.

Prayer: Please Allow Us to Become Children Who Cherish the Pulse of Your Life

Since humankind are the beings who were born for the sake of your love, we cannot live apart from love. We were born for love, and we should attend you through love, and in front of our father who is the subject as reciprocal objects we should love each other, and when we think that we should be able to receive love, we earnestly hope and desire that your will allow us to understand that we who have gathered here are your sons and daughters because of that infinite value. A meeting which has no relationship to you is useless. Please let us know that attending every day out of habit cannot be of any help to you.

Is there any weak person among those who are bowing to our noble Father, to the subject of eternal love, to you who are the source of eternal life? If there is, we earnestly hope and desire that you will allow him to have a mind that longs for you as much as he forgets his own self-importance while falling down in front of everyone at the point when he recognizes that you are expressing yourself there.

We earnestly hope and desire that you will allow us to understand that we are a group which has come here in order to become children who can cherish the pulse of your life, Father, which is penetrating our minds, and we are screaming out for you to give us a moment of being embraced by you while we sob with earnest hearts clinging to the edge of your garments and embracing your neck.

Your love can flow, reverberating deep in our hearts and link together our hearts. Please let that pulse of blood which is flowing at the base of your heart raise up our hearts. Please let all our blood be permeated by the pulse of the original nature of love. Then let us fight with your indignation and together with your courage, please reach out to us with the pulse of your enmity, and please let it become the source of our strength which allows us to go beyond each moment of life, Father, and in the midst of the reverberations, let us recover ourselves and form a relationship with you. We have humbly prayed all these things in the name of the True Parents.

Father! Today at this time we will have to come to a new realization. We must realize that a cosmic time is approaching us, and we must realize that the Will is hoping for a new age through us. Please let the Will connect with our one moment, as it hopes to do, and please let the great distant historical age form a relationship with our church. We earnestly hope and desire, Father,

That you will let us clearly realize one more time that it will not do unless we stand in the subject partner position which is able to transform everything in our daily lives into something heavenly on our own, during each individual moment for the sake of that.

We know that the Unification Church family members who are spread throughout the world are going the way of suffering not in order to be ruined in the end; rather, it is in order to become your sons and daughters as new favorites of yours. Since we know that this is the way of absolute destiny that it would not do to be without, in order to peel off our faults be born again, please let us absorb it and overcome it with grateful minds. And we earnestly hope and desire that you will let us become your sons and daughters who go forth taking this responsibility in order to take hold of history and realize the hope of tomorrow.

As for this movement transforming everything in our lives into something heavenly, please let us live in the realm of joy by attending heaven moment by moment from this moment on. When we become your sons and daughters who offer endless devotion in each moment in that kind of realm of life, we know that the Kingdom of Heaven can take its place automatically in that realm of life.

We know that as we go forward moment by moment with the standard of victory, in overcoming the way of suffering to a level of ten, nine levels of that must include the content of heaven and earth, and by having the realm of victory of our entire lives, we must offer ourselves to you completely as good fruits.

Please let us believe firmly that when we become sons and daughters whom you cannot forget by our lives becoming something you can be proud of, we can receive the special privilege of becoming princes and princesses of the heavenly world. We earnestly request and desire that you will not allow us to become foolish sons and daughters who are inattentive about the course of our lives.

We earnestly request that you will allow us to become your sons and daughters who are able to put forth endless efforts for the sake of making a nucleus which can take possession of tomorrow, and who invest all our strength in this moment today for the sake of tomorrow. We have humbly prayed all these things in the name of the True Parents. Amen
