My fellow citizens! We are gathered here today to mark the founding of the Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland. The unification of our divided country has been our long-cherished hope and desire.

As Koreans, we are proud of our rich cultural heritage, exemplified by a unique language system and elaborate arts, and our long history that has extended over 5,000 years. Korea is noted for its exceptional historical continuity and ethnic homogeneity.

Koreans have long inhabited this beautiful land, forming a peace-loving community. Thus from the beginning, we were destined to live in unity, not in separation.

Contrary to our destiny, we have now experienced 42 years of separation of our people and our land. Our deep emotion and gratitude at the time of liberation in 1945 did not last long, and we fell into the tragic separation between the South and North.

Is this national tragedy to be further continued? Do we have to give up our hope for national reunification because the prospects still look dim and improbable?

The Time Is At Hand

My fellow citizens, I declare with my full conviction that the time for the unification of our fatherland is at hand. We are gathered here today to facilitate its coming through the founding of the Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland.

We should think for a moment how we were able to obtain our liberation in 1945. There were two cardinal factors: One was the sacrifice and dedication of those who gave their lives for the restoration of our independence; the other was the global situation at the time of the Japanese defeat at the end of World War II.

The unification of the fatherland must come in the same way. The movement of international communism of the past 70 years is now coming to its final phase. The decline of the Soviet Union and the countries under its domination is apparent. They are no longer able to conceal their history of failure and deception. The fall of communism is, without a doubt, linked to the fall of Kim Il Sung. This will serve as a factor for facilitating the reunification of our fatherland.

Under the circumstances, it is most appropriate for us to make a move at this time to ignite the flame of the movement for unification, elevating this movement to the level of faith in heaven.

The 38th parallel not only marks a physical division of blood ties but is also a boundary of conflicting thoughts and value perspectives. Because of these conflicting value perspectives, and despite the fact that we are all brethren descended from the same stock, we fought against each other during the Korean War, ignoring this blood relationship.

What is the basic difference between these conflicting value perspectives? We find the difference in the confrontation between theism and atheism. The fundamental aspect of communism is its denial of God. There is no absolute value in communism because it rejects the idea of God and does not hold any criterion for good and evil. From this notion, one can easily derive the principle of communist revolution that "the end justifies the means."

The communist theoreticians claim that communism is a science, thereby justifying their denial of God and all religions and denouncing mythology as superstition. However, did science, in reality, wipe out all religions, mythology, and God from the world in the 20th century?

Communism Destined to Perish

The answer is no. Rather, communism itself was branded by science as a 19th-century superstition. Science in the 20th century is serving as a witness to God by overthrowing the 19th-century view of the cosmos. The cosmos was seen at that time as being composed of absolutely solid particles that could not be divided into smaller units. Based on this concept, the communists expounded their fundamental philosophy of materialism, saying that the cosmos is essentially composed of material.

However, atomic physics in the 20th century has revealed clearly that material is in actuality intangible energy and that the two are compatible and interchangeable. Scientists today are of the opinion that the emergence of the universe was not an accident that merely resulted from the law of causality. The implication is that there was an action of primary will. This primary cause in science is called "God" in religion.

The creator of this universe is a God of intellect, emotion, and will. We were created in His image, and He finds delight in the flow of love to and from man. A true and just value perspective emerges from the affirmation of this notion of our creation by God. It thus follows that denying God is like denying the existence of our parents. It is clear that science itself verifies that communism, as a value perspective, is not only worthless but is destined to perish.

In the communist view, man is treated simply as a mechanical system or as matter in motion. Labor is the communist's god, and man is merely an animal evolved from the apes to a higher stage. When man lives in a system based on this view, he is deprived of his inherent freedom and creativity.

In communist society, man is simply a tool used in the revolutionary struggle. Man is of value only when used toward this end; otherwise he is worthless. This is why man is treated like a subhuman in communist society. The records show that over 150 million innocent people have been massacred in the name of communism in the past 70 years since the Russian Revolution.

We see the confrontation of the two conflicting value systems not only on the Korean peninsula but in many other regions of the world. Unless this confrontation is resolved on a worldwide basis, our hope for Korean unification remains only an illusion. It is therefore essential to resolve world problems if we are to resolve the issue of Korean unification, and vice versa.

The Necessity of Godism

Godism is the proposition I have been expounding for resolving the conflicting value systems in the world today. Godism aims to clarify the existence of God and basic God- given human rights. Godism is instrumental and indispensable if we are to free the communist world from its distorted vision and free the Euro-American world from its secular humanism and decadent materialism. Our movement for unification must be grounded on this system of Unification Thought, which provides us with a reformulation of values.

In the confrontation between conflicting value perspectives, our primary goal must be to pursue unification based on the principles of freedom and democracy. No other forms of unification comply with these principles, because freedom is valued as a sacred and inalienable right endowed by God. We share this right with our brethren in North Korea even though they have been deprived of this right for over 40 years.

We must learn from the experience of Vietnam. It is entirely wrong to consider that Vietnam is now unified. On the contrary, I tell you that Vietnam has been placed in servitude under the Soviet Union. Millions of Vietnamese have been purged, and boat people are still floating on the high seas at the risk of their lives. Vietnam now ranks as one of the poorest nations in the world, with its per-capita income at less than $100. Truthfully speaking, no one could say that Vietnam has been unified.

Our brethren in North Korea thirst for liberation and this can only be accomplished by means of our movement's work on a global scale. We must strive diligently on behalf of our brethren in North Korea who are longing for freedom and happiness under the darkness of communist rule.

The North Korean regime has been propagating its own unification tactics and strategy, declaring that South Korea must be liberated from the rule of American imperialists and that the people of the South must eventually be united with the juche (self-reliance) ideology of Kim Il Sung. The obvious result of such a strategy is that the people of the South will be subjugated by the rule of Kim II Sung and his son under their banner of unification.

For 40 years, the North Korean regime has been pushing desperately for unification under the guise of various "peace offensives:" Despite this constant pressure and the threat of armed invasion from the North, South Korea has in the meantime achieved remarkable economic growth and a prominent status in the international community.

South Korea now outranks the North by a ratio of 5.5 to 1 in terms of its gross national product. At the end of 1985, it ranked 20th in the world in terms of the GNP and 12th in trade volume. It appears that South Korea will be placed in a far superior position to the North in economic and military strength by the time of the Seoul Olympics in 1988. Kim Il Sung might then in desperation seek to achieve unification by armed aggression before he dies. No one can deny that Kim Il Sung might take that risk or even try to harass the Olympic Games. In this light, the next one or two years are crucial for our achievement of unification. Thus our gathering today for the founding of the Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland is of great significance in the history of our nation.

Thought Armament

What is to be done? The task of the Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland is not simple or easy. In the first place, we must formulate a new value system appropriate for the reconciliation and unity of our people. Our thought must be armed with this value system.

The free world is now exposing its main weakness -- its lack of any guiding ideology. This vacuum was created by material affluence and a confused sense of values, and has resulted in the spread of secular humanism. Aiming at this weak point, the communist world continues to expand its hegemony.

The third world war will be a war of ideas. The defeat of communism is not possible by military means alone. Thought armament is mandatory in order to win over communism, and only Godism can accomplish this task. There is no alternative.

The Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland must be the advance guard in this movement to fortify the thought of our people. Godism is strong and resourceful enough to liberate not only our brethren in the North but all people suffering under the yoke of communist rule. The movement of Godism is warning the world of the dangers it faces, and it is motivating people toward a spiritual awakening from the indulgence, immorality, and corruption rampant in the affluent free world.

I sponsored the first mass meeting for Godism in 1976. This historic event was held in Washington DC, the capital of the United States. I openly declared then that the next site of our Godism meeting would be Moscow. I am convinced that Godism can free the Soviet Union from communism. So I ask, what is causing the delay in the decline of communism? Communism's end is delayed because we cannot show an alternative; we have failed to arm ourselves with a strong system of thought.

I strongly urge that we quickly initiate this new movement in Korea and expand it to an international level. We need to be armed with Godism or we cannot overcome communism or Kim II Sung's so- called juche ideology.

I call our Godism movement the "head-wing" movement, in contrast to the left-and right-wing movements. True world peace can only be preserved by the thought system of the head wing, because the conventional left-and-right-wing thoughts are all ego-centered or power -oriented. Ego-centeredness breeds conflicts of interest, making the preservation of peace and unification less and less feasible.

Altruism emanates only from God's providence of love, because God is the essence of love. Just as the head controls the whole human body and its functions, so Godism, the head-wing thought, is superior to right- or left-wing thought. The right and left arms are parts of the whole body, but without the head in the center, the whole configuration becomes void of function and thus meaningless. With Godism as the head-wing thought, we shall move toward the goal of achieving the unification of our fatherland. Our aim is not to invade the North nor to indoctrinate the South but to bring a symbiosis grounded on the true value system, armed with the ideology of the head wing.

Building Up Our Vigor

We need to develop passion for unification because only passion can make us practice what we believe. This passion for unification must be elevated to the level of a faith movement. I believe God will help us when we are all united in this movement and when we pledge our full dedication and sacrifice.

Without sacrifice on our part, our passion is a mere illusion. As one project of the Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland, I am currently planning to build a House of Prayer for Unification as well as a center for unification training near the 38th parallel. We can then project our heated desire for unification north of the 38th parallel.

We should be increasingly vigorous in our movement for unification. Vigor and resourcefulness are mandatory in order for us to destroy the blockade built by Kim Il Sung, which keeps North Korea under Kim's juche thought one of the most primitive and closed societies. Only when Kim is overwhelmed by the reality of our thought system will he be induced to surrender to our proposal.

As we have seen, reformulating a new value system and arming ourselves with Godism are prerequisites for our movement for unification. In addition, Korea must make known the importance of its strength and its status in the international community as an advanced democratic nation.

True democracy is the way to win over dictatorship and personality cults. We find in Abraham Lincoln's speech the eternal truth: "...a government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth." The democratization of our nation is, therefore, the topmost priority.

Finally, we should take initiative in promoting and facilitating international support for this movement for unification. We have to win support from our allies such as the United States and the neighboring superpowers of China and Japan.

We should even seek a way to convince the Soviet Union to render its support for unification by persuading the North that it can no longer remain closed.

Hopefully, we will be able to cause the regime in the North to denounce communism under the pressure of democratic development in the South so that it may become a willing partner in the unification of our fatherland. Kim II Sung might quickly crumble once this process begins.

International Support

As you well know, Korea's geopolitical situation is delicate. The interests of the four superpowers -- the United States, Japan, China, and the Soviet Union -- all converge on the Korean peninsula. We must consider these four superpowers in relation to our movement for unification.

I have already achieved substantial success in this endeavor. On the basis of this success, we are now opening a new chapter in this movement. Such a movement cannot and should not be carried out single-handedly. Needless to repeat, international cooperation and support are mandatory. The Citizens' Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland, therefore, should develop into an Asian Federation and eventually into a World Federation for Its ultimate success. This is the long cherished hope of all mankind as well as of God.

My fellow citizens! It is now our obligation to take on this task of unification, because of its extreme national as well as international significance. Men and women of devotion and dedication are called for this historic duty. You are gathered here today, called to this task, to take part in the founding of the Citizen's Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland.

The founding father of our nation, Tangun, under the golden adage of "Worship of heaven and love of man',' built the foundation for the first community in this land, establishing a standard for human value. The essence of Godism evolved from this spirit. Thus Godism originated from our land.

I have already pointed out that Korea's problems are a reflection of the world's problems, and the solution to the world's problems is essentially linked to the solution of Korea's problems. In a sense, the implication is that Korea can provide a solution for the world. This is very true, for Godism is not only the solution for the unification of Korea, but it also serves as a means for freeing all people from communism and from secular humanism.

My patriotic fellow citizens, let us march forward, armed with Godism, the new value system, and the new head- wing ideology.

With vigorous faith, we should now solemnly declare that we accept this calling to become the advance guard of the movement for unification.

True Parents' Activities in Korea

Having been in America since November 24, 1986, Father and Mother arrived back in Korea' on April 9, 1987. Upon their arrival, they immediately went to the site of the headquarters of the World Missions at Yoido Island and prayed. Then they arrived at Han Nam Dong and listened to reports from the main leaders. Father gave directions to them concerning missionary activities in Korea.

On April 12, at 6:00 pm, a welcoming meeting for True Parents was held at the church headquarters, where over 1,000 members listened to Father speak for three hours. In his speech, entitled "Proud Unification Church," he emphasized that Moonies have deeper desires than ordinary people. He said we were different from others because the Unification Church teaches us how to meet God and how to live. By following heavenly principles, we must remove Satan and liberate God, thus becoming Father's true representatives. In this way, he said, we can be proud of the Unification Church.

On May 1 at 10 am, all local chapters of HSA-UWC held services to celebrate the 33rd Anniversary of the Unification Church. At the Seoul headquarters, 1,000 members gathered to hear Father's speech. The service began with remarks by Rev. Hyuk Suh Kwon, general affairs director of HSA-UWC. A prayer was offered by Rev. Kyu Nam Park, the second regional director of Seoul. Mr. Kwang Yul Yoo, the chairman for Unification Church history, read a celebration poem. Prizes were awarded to members who had contributed at least 15 years to the development of the church and who had excellent witnessing results.

In his speech, Father compared the 33 years of the church with the 33 years of Jesus' life span. He emphasized that the final moment for the construction of the Heavenly Kingdom on earth had finally come.

From April 6 to May 1, Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak and Dr. Bo Hi Pak went on extensive speaking tours around the nation. The purpose of the tours was to prepare the way for an alternative view of the issues that are causing severe instability on the campuses.

Rev. Kwak's tour was organized by the Korean International Christian Students Association. His speech, which he gave at 10 universities, was entitled 'A New Unification Movement for Overcoming Disunity:' He emphasized that neither democracy nor communism is the system mankind is hoping will bring world peace. A new faith that is wider than any ideology -- Godism -- is being proposed by Rev. Moon as an answer to the tragic division between both camps and between North and South.

Dr. Pak's tour was organized by Korean CARP. His speech, which he gave at 9 universities, was entitled "The Ambitious Will of Koreans: Opening the Age of Unification of North and South:" He reminded his audience that we can discover a valuable truth only when we meet a true teacher. He said that Korean intellectuals today totally lack respect for values, and that Rev. Moon's Unificationism is the only ideology to bring a true understanding of the importance of values back into society.

The Blessed Family Is Very Precious

People in the secular world have no knowledge of the Blessing. They meet and marry and do whatever they wish without order. But in the Unification Church, we value most highly the concept of blessed families. Why is it that blessed families are truly precious and cannot be exchanged for anything else?

By having blessed families, we are in a position to have everything. God's ideal of creation is included in the word "Blessing." It is not just an ideal but includes all the processes and actions as well as the results that began with that ideal.

Look at you men and women sitting here. You were not created through the wave of a magic wand. God had a meticulous plan for building a man and a woman and then He went about fulfilling it. It took Him a certain period of time. He had a clear plan for all the systems of the universe which He contemplated for a long time before He created them.

Women and men are alike, yet at the same time so different. The masculine and feminine characteristics are unmistakably different from one another. Imagine if men's or women's eyes were not where they are, but somewhere else. Why should the eyes be located right where they are? Why not have them protrude like the eyes of dragonflies? Look at the useful eyes of a shrimp, which can look around everywhere.

What if your eyeball didn't move around? Then you would have to turn your whole head to glance somewhere. How busy you would be and how much energy it would take! The eyes reflect the center of one's being and so they are located right at the center of the head. The left and right eyes are connected so that they can work together to look at something.

The nose is straight and vertical, especially the Western nose, which gives you an accurate line of sight even if you are looking at something sideways. The eyes show all your emotions and they are really the center of God. God dwells in there, so to speak.

When a man stands in an upright position and looks out at the world, he is able to immediately tell whether things are straight vertically. Horizontally he can also situate himself with everything around him. God is like that.

The nose symbolizes Adam and Eve. It is the line of division for the face. The forehead is like a mountain that stops at the nose. The nose has two nostrils, one representing man and the other representing woman. If you have a cold, often one nostril is clogged up and the other side breathes the air.

The mouth symbolizes the balance of all things. Its opening is parallel with the horizon. Inside the mouth is a set of 32 teeth, or four times eight. The number four represents all directions: north, south, east, and west. The number eight symbolizes a new start. As soon as we have all our teeth, it is the beginning of a new start.

Do you know which teeth usually come in first-the lower or upper? Heaven is first, therefore, the upper teeth normally come in first and then the lower teeth. Usually two come in at the same time and are immediately followed by two more. Frequently, it is not until the baby has two teeth that he begins to truly respond to his own mom and dad.

Ears also symbolize the four directions. An ear is like a mountain, with one ridge after another. When sound enters, it reverberates inside the ear's structure so we can hear it. Nothing just haphazardly came into being; everything is carefully planned.

What about the eyebrows? Why aren't eyebrows someplace else? Naturally, they are where they are to protect the eyes from sweat. All the crevices and lines on the face are for sweat and water to flow through. They act as a kind of ditch. Also, the lips protect the mouth from sweat.

Western people have big, round eyes and eyelids that fold. Their eyes are so big that without those folds, water would just keep dripping into the eyes. It is obvious that Eastern people, whose faces are rather flat and whose eyes are slanted and narrow, don't have to worry so much about sweat going in, so their eyelids have no fold. People may like to criticize things but they should realize that God figured everything out beforehand. It is perfect. There is really no room for criticism.

Many black people have a rather short and wide nose. This is because the air is hot in the areas in which they have traditionally lived. If it passed through a long passage and heated up even more, it would cause a problem. Thus they can inhale and exhale freely through a short nasal passage. White people's noses are long and narrow because they usually live in northern regions where the air is cold.

Your hands display immediately what type of work you are suited for, whether agricultural work or something else. Women typically have small, soft hands which are not fit for rough labor, whereas men have strong hands with thicker skin. Such hands do not get hurt so easily.

Men typically have narrow hips and broad shoulders in order to carry a heavy burden and support it from the waist up. They are not designed to sit in one place for a long time. On the other hand, women's hips are designed to sit for long periods of time and their shoulders are light. How can you sit for a long time with heavy shoulders?

From this perspective, those who call loudly for equality between men and women do not know what they are talking about. In what way are they equal? The only equality that exists is when the two come together and unite perfectly. Then they are equal for the first time. How can we unite? Can men and women be forced to unite by some strong oppressive power? We have pointed out over and over again in the Unification Church that true love is the only way for men and women to unite.

Your body is equipped for the fate or fortune you are born with. Some people have unusually large feet. That is a sign they are destined to walk long distances and that they are very stable. When I match people, these are the things I take into consideration, but I do it in the flash of a second. Everything is considered. Every man and woman smiles and laughs, but no two people laugh the same way. Some people laugh by sucking in air, others burst out like an explosion. Through such signs, I can tell how people will behave in the future.

The way a person walks is also very interesting to note. Some walk with short, fast strides and others with long, slow strides. All styles represent a person's destiny. The typical walk of a Western woman tells very eloquently what kind of a destiny she will have! (Father walks around swinging his hips in an exaggerated manner.) From behind, when I observe the way a woman walks and moves her hips, I can automatically imagine how her face should be. When she turns around and I look at her face, sure enough, she is exactly as I imagined her. I am very accurate.

Sometimes I wonder, "How can I match so many people?" Then I remember my abilities to see things and to draw conclusions from observation. Then I tell myself, "Oh, yes. I ought to be confident about the way I match because I was born with this ability."

We walk without thinking about it. But the way someone walks-with his hands spread out or clenched, and how much he swings his arms-tells a lot about him. Some people walk this way. (Father does a funny imitation). Sometimes a person moves in a subtle manner that is not so visible, but if you observe carefully you can see these things. I can discern conscientious people from others who are not so conscientious just by looking at the way they walk. One exhibits everything about his life in these ways. Someone made people function like this for a purpose.

There are at least three layers in the face and the eyes. There is an inner, a middle, and an outer layer. We know that the formation, growth, and perfection stages are represented there. This is the case for all parts of the face-the eyes, the nose, the mouth. That is one of the first things we learn in the Principle-the three stages of development.

This is a precise rule. You see it everywhere. Before I existed, my parents and my grandparents existed. There are three generations. Then, who is more important- myself or my grandparents? It is my grandparents. Why? Because they are the root or origin out of which I developed. The pupil is the center of the eye upon which the other parts are centered. Everything did not come all at once. So, which is more important? The root and center is most precious.

Do we need grandfathers and grandmothers? In the United States, many grandparents are sent to old people's homes. We think they have freedom and are happy there. But how can anyone be happy with all the precious things gone from his life? If you put the pupil of an eye away somewhere, then the iris and the skin are alone and useless. It is like cutting off the root of a tree. How can we live a healthy, purposeful life without our root-our grandfathers and grandmothers-from whom we came? The result is havoc and confusion.

Take a poll of American women and ask who would like to go live with her husband's parents and grandparents. Does anyone welcome that situation? Probably not. The women say, "No, my husband and I just want to live together and not be concerned with anyone else." Is that right or wrong? It is so wrong that any society with that attitude deserves to decline.

You might say, "I don't understand. In this society, everyone is like that. We would be much happier without all these old folks interfering with everything we do. We can't do what we wish with them around. Why do we need old people?" Yet, all the things of the universe tell us, "They are the most precious, so you must cherish them."

Why do I tell you this? Look at it this way. There are three stages before your realize your existence. Your grandparents are like the eyes; your parents are like the nose; you are like the mouth. Would the mouth say, "I just want to be left alone. I want to be free of the nose and eyes and function separately"? No, the whole face is more important than the mouth, nose or eyes alone. All three are included in the face, not just the mouth. Lacking one, the face can never be complete.

People often talk about their home but they should immediately think about their grandfather and grandmother being there. Without them, a good home is unimaginable. Just as when we say "my hands," that automatically includes three joints, so "my home" should include three generations. "My arm" includes the hand, the forearm, and the upper arm. When you say "my body," it is also divided into three: the head, the torso, and the limbs. The internal organs include the lungs, the heart, and the liver. If those three do not work harmoniously together, the body cannot be supported. Therefore, when you say "my home, " it should mean grandparents, parents, and yourself. We should automatically think in those terms.

This is the way it is. If we do not follow this way, the universe cannot stamp us "Grade A." It will stamp us "Grade D" or "Grade F." Do you think these are manifestations of God's plan or not? Even though this is the first time we ever noticed these things, this is the order of the creation.

Coming back to the idea of blessed families-do they exist outside the Church or not? Who has the best chance of getting back to the original ideal-blessed families or others? Therefore, blessed families are more valuable because they are emulating the one and only original family.

(Father draws on the blackboard.) This represents a standard of measure. To measure something, we must be able to find the original standard that tells the unit-one foot, one inch, and so forth. There is only one original standard, not two or three. In order to prevent possible elongation, we keep this in a very secure place where even the temperature does not affect it. From this original measure we make other copies so that we can measure many things in many places. So we may have two, three, or many measures.

How far are we from the original? Are we the tenth copy or the hundredth copy? The original way might look like this (on blackboard) but no one reflects this perfectly. If you become very sensitive in comparing what order you are in-"You are the hundredth copy and I am the eightieth copy of the standard"-someone else might resent it.

The only thing exactly like the original measure is the original measure itself. No other is exactly the same, although it can be equivalent. No two trees are exactly the same. If you take one measure from one tree and another measure from another tree, they can never be identical. Even though you take lumber out of the same tree, the lumber that is closer to the root is different from that which is closer to the upper branches.

Each person tends to think, "As far as I know, I am the standard of life." After a long time, the idea occurs to them: "We must have some original standard." They decide to look for the original standard.

Today people take it for granted that it is impossible to know where or what the original is. Many countries exist, yet Americans say, "American life is best, so it has to be the original." Do you agree that America is the original, the center? You have to have grounds for saying that something is the center. Are Americans the center because they are free to act as they please-to oppose their own fathers and mothers and kick their own spouses out of the house and divorce freely? How can anyone call the United States the center when the people do things like this?

When I think of divorce, I immediately think of reverse. Divorce means that something is not progressing but is reversing. The words even sound similar.

I am saying today that blessed couples are the original standard. How do we know this? Perhaps I am lying to you or just saying this. How can you tell what is the true original? One way to know is that all five senses respond to it. The eyes look at it and they are pleased. The nose smells it and it is pleased. The taste is so sweet that once you taste it, you are like a bee in honey. If you pull a bee away from the honey, he will stay in it, even if you pull him apart. So the mouth will attest to the original; your sense of touch will attest to it-you will want to touch it a thousand times over. All your senses will respond to the original.

Everything is there within the original; nothing is lacking. Imitations or fake things that claim to be true may have a lot of true qualities, but not all of them. Something is bound to be lacking; in fact, many things are lacking. In other words, whatever Reverend Moon teaches is good to hear, to look at, to touch, and to taste. Even if I were to strike someone, that person thinks, "Oh, Father hit me. That is good!" The pain turns into happiness because it is from the original.

The original is what everyone loves. The original fingertip is loved by the eyes, the nose-the whole body. What is the original of originals in the cosmic world? It is God. So everyone must like God. They do, don't they? Everybody and everything loves God. Does that include you? I don't know. Does it really? Then is it correct to say, "Whatever I like, God must like"? No, we should say, "Whatever God likes, I must like." Isn't that true?

We are narrower than God. God looks at everything, but we only look at things in a limited way. God is the center of all things and at the same time, He is the root of all things. We are like a cell within the larger being. How can that cell claim to be the center? It can do that only out of sheer ignorance. A person with such an attitude never thinks about anything but himself. He doesn't even know where he is, whether he is north or south of his destination. If he moves from the wrong position like that, he will destroy himself by colliding with something. Do you think a person earns a passing grade or a failing grade if he is like that and thinks he is the center?

I observed brothers and sisters who came into the Matching with this attitude. They did not know where the center was or what they were looking for. I was about to match them and eventually bring them to an awareness of the center. I know they are still in the process of learning- that some just recently joined and are in grammar school, so to speak. But they were all eyes and thinking, "Oh, I need the best-looking husband," and so forth. But they don't even know what is best for them.

Americans like champions, don't they? Who is the champion of match-makers in the world? I have matched many thousands of couples. What if I made a wrong match? It would be a catastrophe. When the matches are good, what will be the result? The result will be a fantastic world. By the time it is known and proved and advertised throughout America, then everyone-young and old, men and women-will come to me and ask me to match them. A millionaire or billionaire would be willing to pay all or at least half of what he has. That will be true in the future.

Suppose I had said to all the men and women who came to the Matching, "Are you ready to give up everything you own? You pay it and I will match you." They should be willing to say, "A thousand times, yes." But is that the way it happens? Of course not. Those brothers and sisters who came into the matching hall this time really amazed me in that everybody else was the center except Father. They thought they could demand what they wanted. Then when I matched them, many were so surprised and made all kinds of motions.

People have lived as they pleased for thousands of years. Nobody has ever said, "That is wrong; don't do it." But we are more serious people gathered here. Where are we going? You must answer, "To the original place." That is a good answer. Saying "Back to God" is a zero point answer. It is like saying, "Everything you want to know is in the encyclopedia. Go and look it up." More precisely, we must go back to the original point or place. In order to do that, we have to find the standard.

What is God going to do with the blessed families? We said we are going back to the original place, but for what? What are we going to do when we get there? We want to conform with the original form. What is so precious and valuable about the original form? The original form contains all the important elements. Otherwise, it would not be the original form.

Who is the representative of the original form? The answer is Adam and Eve but only if they grow up and become True Parents. The original Adam and Eve are like the original measurement which we represented on the blackboard. But did that measurement of Adam and Eve come out exactly the way God planned it?

The first thing we have to think about when we talk about original things is love-the original success in love or the original failure in love. So the original form of the original blessed family is that Adam and Eve must come into the unity of love. That is the good origin which produces the good result. All other good things are contained within that original form.

Can God also be found there? What is God connected to? God is connected to that original true love. What should Adam be connected to in that family? Original true love. What about Eve, then, or Adam and Eve together? Original true love. God, Adam, Eve, and Adam and Eve together-all of them should be connected to original true love.

What about the mind and the body? They should be absolutely connected in true love. If they are absolutely connected in true love, would the mind and body take different directions, or would they go in the same direction? How about you? Is the direction of your mind and body always the same? You have to be consistent with the original form. As it is, everything we observe is contrary to the original. We have to deduce from that, "Mankind must have fallen. Something must have gone seriously wrong from the beginning."

God is the center and He is the originator. When God created all the universe, what was the common center or common direction from which He deployed everything? God Himself wants to go in that direction and He created Adam and Eve and the mind and the body to go in that direction. In fact, He created everything to go in that one, common direction.

In order to reach the remotest corner of His domain, God needs bridges. When all things and human beings get to that one point, God would like to be there. People also need a bridge to get to that one direction. That binding agent, the thing which can connect us, is love. Truly, love is the only thing which is qualified to bring everything together.

In order to participate in love, everything is created in the subject-object relationship, or male and female. God can ask the question to Adam or Eve or to anyone, "For what purpose do you want to live and die?" Perfected Adam and Eve would say, "Why do you ask such a simple, obvious question?" Even asking the question seems funny because of course the answer is love. Everything exists for love. That is the answer which the body, the mind and other people will always give. Love is the answer.

What will your eyes answer? True love. What about the nose and the mouth? Everything will say, "True love. Love, love, love, love." The clear conclusion here is, "Happiness is living for the sake of love and being able to die for the sake of love."

Which is more valuable-to live or to die? Which brings more happiness? Well, look at it this way: we want to be in a valuable place and go in a valuable direction, don't we? Which will bring us to a more precious place- to live for the sake of love or to die for the sake of love? This is not a trick, just think about it. Which is the more valuable place-the place where we live for the sake of love or die for the sake of love?

Imagine an American couple who lives very happily all their lives, really in love. They love their country and they die a natural death. Now imagine another couple who truly love one another and truly love America, but they died in doing so. Which position is the more blessed one? Let's say that in the spirit world, there is a highest place to go, the most honorable place which is closest to God. Who is likely to occupy that position: those who lived happily in love and died naturally or those who died for the sake of love, sacrificing themselves? It is the second.

Let's ask this same question to that most learned Ph.D., Dr. Durst. Dr. Durst also says that the one who dies for the sake of love goes to the most precious place.

Western philosophy, for the most part, is founded from a concept of force or power. They believe that the strong will devour the weak, but that is not consistent with what we have been saying. Western philosophy should be corrected. The right perspective is that people die or sacrifice for the sake of love, which is much stronger than any force or power.

The theory of evolution is misleading, with many subtle errors. There are many species and numbers of fish in the ocean. We can see that there are small fish, larger fish and there are the largest fish. There is a so-called food chain, in which the smaller creatures are eaten by the larger ones. The smallest unit of all things has the goal of reaching men and women, way up at the top of the chain.

All living things, including the fish living in the ocean, have as their ideal to connect with the happy man and woman united in love. Since there is no way to jump directly to that point, they have to get there through a bridge. They move up one step at a time, and then sooner or later get to man and woman. This is their ideal and their hope.

This is not an interpretation; this is the way they actually feel. All things are created with this ideal: "One day, I can be a part of the cells of the center of the whole universe-man and woman." They do not mean just any ordinary man and woman, but a man and woman united in love.

Imagine how many billions of cells there are within each individual human being. Literally billions of cells are dying out and new ones are being born again each day. This is a source of their pride-that they can serve for the sake of true love and be a part of the body of true love. All things are like this-animals, fish, minerals, vegetables-they want to live for the sake of true love literally, not just conceptually. It is only possible to reach true love through these steps.

All things in the universe are sending this message to Adam and Eve: "Please grow bigger, faster." So Adam and Eve keep on growing until they mature. When you write "W," for woman, on the board, you see that it is an upside down "M," for man. So woman is man inverted, right?

Which do you like better-the letter M or the letter W? Of course, women would say W and men would say M, but it so happens that man was created first, so man goes on top. W is more like a vessel to put things in. M is like a lid to cover the things. If some woman wants the lid to be smaller than the vessel, that is wrong. The lid has to be bigger in every way-bigger in size and even have larger eyes so that he can see better. A woman's face tends to be narrower than a man's. Don't complain to me about that-this is the Principle, not just my own feeling.

Should man always be the one to give? When does he receive? If a woman kicks a man away, he has no chance. He is not in a position to receive anything. It is only when a woman loves a man that he is in a position to receive anything. Should men go after women or should women go after men? Should a woman go after a man to get something out of him? Woman should follow after man to give him love through the sons and daughters and grandchildren that she gives birth to.

Men have a lot of muscles in their breasts. But women have more abundant breasts. Which is the love giver -- man's muscles or woman's breasts? Truly, women are centered in love-they want to give and receive love. They are much more sensitive to love. That is why young girls enjoy the little chicks that are hatched in the springtime. They feel they are adorable and they go after them because they see the potential in them for love. Boys like to go after the chicks, too, but maybe for food or to bring them to a girl.

Everything is centered on love. Which is the more original way to see the universe-the way you see it or the way I see it? So are you willing to follow my way or should I follow yours? I emphasize this so much only because you emphasize your way so much. Otherwise, I could speak in a very soft voice. I have spoken for two hours now. Do you think it has been productive? Should I stop now? When I talk about love, then you are all ears. We all want to know more because love is so valuable.

Man is the lid and woman is the vessel. An American woman with a Ph.D. might say, "I dislike such a theory. I have never heard of anything like this. In the entire library, there isn't even one line about that. Maybe Reverend Moon is making this all up. Why does he have to degrade women all the time?" But who would you follow-the Ph.D. American woman or me? I have a different skin color and I am not even a citizen of this country. You know you absolutely want to follow love!

Fallen man goes to hell. The only way to change this and enable man to go to heaven is to change his vision, so that the only color he sees is that of true love. When you see through the eyes of true love, you forget whether someone is black, white or yellow. This is why we can say that we are overcoming racial discrimination in the Unification Church. This is how it is possible.

The whole universe exists for divine love. For the sake of divine love, the small fish want to reach up and be consumed by a larger fish to become part of it. Love is very precious and precious things should be put on the altar. The universe is the altar of love. Everything wants to be put on this altar of love and be precious like diamonds and gold. They want to be a part of true love. Fish, vegetables, and animals all have the right to be placed on the altar of love.

Then what happens? They come into contact with God and become a part of Him. Everything is designed to seek that point of union with God. The biggest and best creature, representing all species, should reach the altar of love and eventually be connected to God. This is like the universal Olympics or a museum of the universe because you can find representatives of all the species here- everyone competes to get there.

God wants to savor the universe with true love and all things shout out in joy because now, for the first time, they can reach up to God as they were destined to. When man and woman bow down to God in the solemn tradition of all things reaching toward love, the creation will say, "I am now a part of the higher creation. I am ready to die for the sake of love, my God." God will say, "Yes, now you qualify as the highest form of life."

God Himself is happy and satisfied. God in turn feels that He can die for the sake of all things. Everyone, even the smallest living creature, will applaud with joy. God won't die, but this is truly the way He feels. Everyone cherishes God within this fabulous love and God reciprocates that. Is anything missing? Everything is proud of itself because it is part of the true love of creation.

Darwin's materialistic theory of evolution has no place in this ideal. As soon as we know the truth, that theory goes into the trash can. Even if what I am teaching is not true, even if it is downright false and imaginary, still it is noteworthy. In all of civilization, no one has come up with an idea like this which can squarely confront Darwinism and evolution. People thought that theory was the best they had. But what if my words are true? Then this is a serious and wonderful matter.

Is this powerful enough to nudge your ideas a bit? It has taken me two hours for the introduction! At least we have a foundation now. We understand that true love is precious. Should I continue or is that enough for you today? What church in the whole world-especially in this democratic country of the United States-has a pastor who gives a sermon for more than 45 minutes? My sermon has already gone on for more than two hours and still you want more. You must certainly be crazy! Reverend Moon is crazy too! Two crazy parties have met.

Where is our hope? It is in grasping hold of true love. That is all we are concerned with. No matter how complicated things may be, true love will get everything back to normal. It is truly amazing that by meeting Reverend Moon, you understand our origins, where you are going, what true love is, and how we connect to it. We know these things for the first time.

Can we find God in the blessed couples, the blessed families? Yes we can, without a doubt. And do we find true man and woman there? We find true love there-we find a true father, true mother and true children, as well as God Himself. There is the true family, true society, true world, and true cosmos.

The Korean language is a revealing language, one which exposes deep feelings. The expression, "I am really happy," means "I am dying, I am so happy." Any extreme emotion is expressed by the prefix, "I am dying I am so cold, so hungry, etc."

In English, you frequently insert the phrase, "you know" into your conversation. In Korean, that phrase is "ma ri a." Many times Americans ask, "What is 'maria' in the Korean language?" Of course, "Maria" is the name of Mary and it also represents Eve, so we might say that the Korean language is constantly trying to find Eve or Mary. Since Korea is a masculine country, he is constantly looking for Eve! That reflects a lot.

Sometimes I can be very minute in my thinking. I care about small things and I have many large and complicated things on my mind, but complication never leads me to confusion. The more complicated things are, the larger truth I can find.

Truly you Unification Church members, especially the Western members, are learning a great deal, aren't you? The Unification Church is the only place where all the true elements are. What connects them? Of course, it is true love. With true love, we can occupy and possess everything and we become connected with everything.

What are the characteristics of our blessed families in the Unification Church? Are Unification Church women very changeable? Are they very talkative? They shouldn't be. Unification Church women only talk when love is involved. They don't even want to listen to something or get near anything that is not connected to love.

If woman is the symbol of the expression of love, then what is man? He is the symbol of pioneering, conquering, domineering. Do you want to conquer in love? Nobody

likes a dictatorship and Americans particularly dislike dictatorship. What about a dictatorship of love? Then it's not a dictatorship any more.

What kind of man would you women like? Do you want a man who hovers around you, admiring and praising you, or the kind who just takes hold of you? Would you like an aggressive man or a man who would keep his distance and just admire you from afar? Which one? I am a man, so I can't answer this. I want the women to answer.

Some women are so frail, it seems like they have no contents. Like an ant, they have a very narrow waist that never breaks and which a man can hold onto well. Every woman wants to reduce her waistline because she wants to boast that she is loved. "Because my husband squeezed me so tight, my waistline got smaller." Nowadays a heavy woman is not appreciated. People look at her and think, "Oh, she must not have love."

I wrote "True God" on the blackboard. Of course, there is only one God, so why did I write that? Until now, God has never been God in His original state. He has been a God who has not known love. That has been God's situation. Are you Unification Church members sure that God exists? Do you just believe it or do you know it?

We all have a physical father and mother, don't we? What is the difference between the physical father and the True Father? All things want to turn away from a father of the fallen lineage, but everything in the universe welcomes and loves the True Father. In the Unification Church, you consider Reverend Moon your True Father. What is the actual difference between worldly fathers and the True Father? One has true love and the other does not, so it is a big difference. The true child, true family, true society, true nation, true world, and a true lineage which are eternally unchanging are connected by love all the way up to God Himself.

Have you become part of the true lineage as blessed couples? How many languages should be spoken in the true lineage? Only one. But look at us-so many languages are spoken here. Are you a true family or not? True heaven has only one language. Language is what binds a culture together. How many ancestors are there in the true family and the true lineage? They go all the way to God. It is God's own lineage. Lineage means the blood line. God's own blood is flowing in the true lineage. Many people and nations will be connected, and eventually the world.

Billions and billions of spirit people are living in the spirit world, just as we are living on earth. They also must get to true love and there is absolutely no other way except joining with the true lineage. People in the past and in the present have been looking for this point where they can become connected to God. For the first time in the spirit world because of the advent of True Parents, all the walls are coming down.

When true love comes, no walls or barriers can remain. Just as a bird can fly from one country to another- everyone is part of one country. God's man and God's woman will become one in true love. Unless true love exists there is no way these two can be united.

The family is composed of the grandparents, the parents, and the sons and daughters. In the heavenly four-position foundation, God is in the first position, the grandparents are in the second position, the parents are in the third position and the fourth position is the children. There is the grandparents' true love, the parents' true love, the true love of the children and all the relationships of true love among all the parties there. The lineage is vertical.

The ideal of creation is the realization of the four position foundation. The four-position foundation includes everything in itself. Every essential relationship is explained within it. True love is the binding agent, the element that makes its unity.

We all begin in the children's position. Children should inherit heavenly fortune through their lineage. Grandparents are precious because they are the center of the past. The parents represent the present and the children represent the future-the future of the country, the family, the lineage, everything. East, west, north and south-all four directions are there. The center of the four-position foundation is the center of everything.

When you think about family, it is not some quantity that you count-five people or whatever-but rather, you instantly think about true love and the four-position foundation. When we think about grandparents, we are reminded of the past. We can learn about the past from them. The parents are the present and the children are the beginning point of the future.

Through the true lineage we inherit true love. When we see our grandmother and grandfather in love, even though they are very old, we learn, "This is the way we ought to behave." Even if we feel like opposing and rejecting each other, we control ourselves. The same is true with our parents. We learn to love from them.

From the family you can look out in one glance and see the whole universe. We can learn how God sees the universe because we can feel it in the true family. Every element is there. If you love your grandmother, your mother, your sisters and your wife, you can love and appreciate all the female creatures in the animal kingdom. The family is the textbook of cosmic love and that is why it is so precious and important. Without a textbook, what can you learn?

If a family lacks its grandmother, it is that far from perfection. The same is true if any other member of the family is lacking. The four-position foundation is already heaven. As time goes by, you change places, like moving to a different house.

Who goes to heaven and how does one go? It is very clear that those who learned everything on earth according to the true love textbook will go to heaven. The grandparents must love the family with their life. The father and mother love their sons and daughters with their own lives. How happy a family this is.

What is the true family? In the true family, each member is ready to die for the sake of each other. The grandmother and grandfather are perfectly willing to die for the sake of their own children, the father and mother. The father and mother love their children so much, they are willing to die for their sake. Furthermore, the sons and daughters will gladly die for the sake of the grandparents. The grandparents will die for one another, the brothers will die for the sisters and vice versa. That is a true family.

Mankind actually lives for the sake of the future, not for the present alone. Because of the true children, the present and the past and the future are eternally connected. Now we know what a true family is, don't we? That is the true standard, the rule or yardstick. What about the average American family? Is it anything like the true family? Of course not.

In China, people are well-knit in this kind of relationship. Such a thing is conventional. No matter how old the parents are, they absolutely obey their parents, the grandfather and grandmother. Even if they are 60 years old and the grandparents are 80, they obey them just like small children. What about the grandchildren? To them, the grandfather and grandmother represent God. In that sense, the god of their home is the grandparents. The home's president is the father and the people are the sons and daughters.

Nothing is more valuable than the true family. That is my topic this morning-"The Blessed Family Is Truly Precious." One cannot find love in the nation without finding love in the family. Those who are not loved in the family cannot be loved in the country, nor in the world. The family is the most basic unit.

You blessed couples, please raise your hands. Are you living this way of life in your family? Are your grandfather and a grandmother with you? God Himself will be our grandparents. Father and Mother are the True Parents. You are in the position of children. We must realize that we are within the boundary of the family of God and be most proud of that. What is more precious than that? It cannot be exchanged for the whole universe.

With this standard, can you Japanese brothers and sisters just ask to go back to Japan? We don't have nations or any such boundaries. Families are the extension of everything we have in God. God doesn't have a country yet, so why do you want to go back to Japan? Why do you Americans only want to stay in America? Why do you Koreans think about Korea? The only thing we have is family.

When I go Korea, where do your minds go? They go with me, don't they? It doesn't make any difference whether you are black or white or yellow. Why? It is because of true love.

Can you exchange true love with any proud American achievements? Even if many countries got together and pooled all their treasures, do you think that would have the value of true love? No. It is truly priceless. Your own spouse is so precious that even if someone offered you the wealth of the world, in exchange, that could not compare. With such a precious spouse, could you have any other woman? Could you even get near to someone else? Your own wife may not be so beautiful in the worldly sense-maybe she even limps and is homely while some other beautiful woman is beckoning to you. But can you follow her? No, because we know that true love is far more precious than anything. Nothing is more important.

What kind of family do we want to live in? Imagine how difficult it is in secular society even for a woman with a good husband. In the outside world, people are always worried to death. A husband goes to the office in the morning and the wife may easily begin to doubt his fidelity. She wonders, "Is he going to go out drinking? What if he meets another woman?" She worries about all kinds of things. But in the Unification Church, do we have to worry about that? Do we say, "I haven't seen my husband for a long time, so I am very worried that he is off drinking somewhere or has another woman"? No, for the first time in history, we are free.

We know that to protect our family is to protect God Himself. This is how important it is. To protect the president of one's own country, or to protect the True Parents is of the same significance as protecting one's family. Now do you understand how important and precious the blessed family is?

In a family, if one person hides something from another-for instance if the father hides money in a secret place away from the mother, or the children are dishonest with their parents-how miserable this is. True love can go anywhere. It can go through everybody's pockets and nothing is hidden.

What is the chain of command in the family? First in rank are the grandfather and grandmother. Of course, the father and mother are next in rank. They must not be self-centered but should be God-centered.

We know that true love is even more powerful than death. After our grandparents grow old and go to spirit world, if we love them and want them badly, they can still communicate with us. The gap or boundary between spirit world and physical world is bridged by true love. We may be in a tight spot and need some good advice from our departed grandparents, so we can ask them deeply and then they can give us the solution. Our own descendants can do the same thing.

When we kneel down to God as princes and princesses of true love, there is nothing He will refuse. God will listen to everything gladly. If this isn't true, then God is only conceptual, and we don't need just a concept. We want to embrace God, too. Have you ever put yourself in the position of prince and princess of true love when you prayed to God?

We have to remember that there are many positions from which to pray. The shortest distance to God is from the position of acting with true love. Are you truly princes and princesses of God and of the Heavenly Kingdom? When this love fills up the whole world, then we will become true princes and princesses.

If a person lives under such circumstances, how can he help but go to heaven? Such a person is automatically pushed up to heaven. Now do you understand? We must live in such a way as to become royal citizens of God's kingdom. Think: "I will be the royal child who serves the elder kings-my grandparents and parents. I will be the king of my own generation and I will serve in all these positions." If we become like that, we truly have no boundaries. How dignified and how much authority we would have! You don't need anything more than that. That is true happiness.

(Father speaks in English:) You are a leader in true love. Everyone will be looking at you, waiting for you, moving when you move, preparing for you. Nothing can control you but true love. Such a person becomes God's woman, God's man, God's parents, God's grandparents. How wonderful Moonies are. We have to follow that kind of way, we have to do that kind of thing. If you want to do that, raise your hands. Thank you. God bless you.

The whole of humanity, as well as the animal, vegetable, and mineral kingdoms, has a certain mission to fulfill. Since God is the Creator, He must have a certain plan or pattern for what He wants to accomplish, according to His will. However, we often feel that we would like to do things only the way we want to do them, according to our own will. There is no difference between the races as far as this feeling goes. Oriental or Westerner, rich or poor, all have that same urge: I want to do as I like.

There are many different classes and levels of people among the five billion people of the world, from the lofty to the lowly. We all think we exist separately or independently from other people or groups; but we do not exist that way. Americans are ancestrally connected to Britain, Europe, and Africa. Beyond that, we are connected to all of history. We are not alone. We are not independent. Have you ever stopped to think that your eyes are not yours alone? Your father's eyes, your mother's eyes, your grandparents' eyes, and all your ancestors' eyes are in your eyes. They are a part of all history.

When we go out on the street in the springtime, we see women dressed in all different colors, shapes, and designs. Each one wants to stand out from the crowd and be unique, doesn't she? People like to feel, "I do not belong to anyone. I am completely independent. I don't have to be influenced by anyone." But to think like that is to no avail, because it just isn't so.

While every one of us exists as "I," as an individual, we are never alone and independent or detached from others. We are a part of the whole of mankind, the whole line of history, and "I" exist in the center of that.

Let us consider that we are all like works of art in an exhibition. If the world is a museum, then "I" am one of the exhibits. Each exhibit must stay in his position. No matter how valuable an object is, or no matter how valuable an individual may be, if he does not stay where he is supposed to and wanders around according to his own will, he is immediately valueless because he is not serving his purpose.

We all have a proper place and should not go just anywhere we feel. If I stay where I am supposed to stay and go in the direction true human beings are supposed to go, then I, as a representative of all human beings, will be cherished by the universe.

Leaders should be in the leaders' position. If a leader leaves his position on his own and goes somewhere else, he loses his value. He is the same person, but if he is in a different position, he is not as valuable there. When a leader leaves his proper place and goes the wrong way, the other people feel, "I wish he wasn't my leader." In the same way, parents have certain expectations of their children; they want their child to do what he is supposed to do and become successful in life. But what if that child becomes involved with the wrong things and makes trouble all the time? The parents might think, "Oh, I wish that child wasn't mine." Is it because the parent is unloving that he thinks this way? No. We can understand that parent's heart. It is because the parent knows universal law; he knows which way his child should go. His original mind and conscience know, and when that child goes astray, he feels a great deal of pain.

This situation extends to the society and national level. Even a country is supposed to go in a certain direction. If it doesn't, we may wish that country just didn't exist. Look at the powerful Communist countries. A few decades ago, some people briefly thought that Communism was the highest ideology, but time has proved that Communism is not going in the direction of mankind's ideals. Now they are saying, "Communism must contain itself; it must not spread." Even many of the Communist countries themselves think that Communism should be dissolved.

Why is this? Because each individual human being has a conscience and knows the original way he is supposed to go. We always have to check and make sure we are in the right position. If we are not, either we correct our position or our position is eliminated. We have to constantly ask ourselves, "Am I standing in a position where I will never be eliminated?" Do you have the confidence to say, "Yes, Father. I am where I am supposed to be. I am very sure about that. I must stay where I am because the world needs me and the universe needs me." This is a serious matter.

Some people are not sure, so they have to find out where their leader wants them go to. But suppose there is a person who is constantly checking himself and striving to go in the right direction, the unmistakable direction. He continually tries to bring himself more and more closely into the true position. Such a person is destined to be a leader of the rest of mankind.

What is the true way?

The Orient has produced many saints. Confucius, Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammed all came from the East. But who is the saint of all saints? Christians would say Jesus, but wouldn't the Buddhists say Buddha? This could be confusing. Are there many different paths a human being must go? What if those four saints got together and tried to determine whose way was better. One thing they wouldn't say is, "My way is best." Instead they would each say, "I will ask Heaven and see which direction is the best of all." That is the difference between saints and ordinary people.

What about someone from the secular world? How would they come up with the best idea? They would probably form a Board of Directors and hire representatives; they would analyze their findings and come to a certain conclusion. Their answer may be right for a season. They may be right for that time in history, but for all other times it may not apply.

The founding fathers of America agreed upon a system of democracy. They saw very clearly that democracy was the only thing that would work. They tried to be very conscientious in creating their constitution and then they asked God if it was right. When they got the answer that it was, they ratified it. But that was 200 years ago. Look how much the environment has changed since then. Is what the people decided 200 years ago exactly right for now? Impossible. The American people should be constantly going back to God and saying, "Are we still all right?" Yet has there ever been a president who asked God exactly how to do things? No. Not here or anywhere.

Pragmatism has always served the immediate purpose. Pragmatism means doing not what God decides but what man decides is the most practical thing in the moment. We cannot be satisfied with pragmatism. We know there is something higher. Shouldn't we abandon secularism and humanism in hopes of reaching something more lasting and enduring? When each of the four saints started out, each was quite confident that he was going in the most righteous direction. But eventually each came to realize that his way was not perfect after all. Today, the followers of each of these saints are fighting bitterly among themselves and against each other. That is proof enough that none of their ways is the ultimate way.

Then how shall we resolve this? Where can we find the true way? We have to go back to Heaven and ask God what we should do.

Why did I come to America? It is very simple. I knew that while the direction established Christianity was going may have been right once, it is no longer adequate. The people need to be shown a higher way, a way that represents human beings and history more fully. The people need to be uplifted so that America can serve as a leader of the entire world. I came to America to provide that impetus.

What if the four saints got together for a conference and, with God as the chairman, discussed how the world should be? First, there would be a debate, with each saint explaining his own view. Do you think they would come to a conclusion as to which was the true way in one month's time? How about a year's time? If God and the saints were at the conference table year after year with still no consensus, they would get exhausted and give up, wouldn't they?

Then would God, who is also getting tired of the conference, say, "Well, since we can't come to an agreement, I'll make the decision"? No. The four saints would say, "God, You can't go against the law of Your own creation, the law of man's responsibility." God would admit, "Okay, you're right. You four saints represent all of humankind, so you decide. Tell me, what do you think are the most significant teachings?" Jesus might say, "The Bible is the utmost direction-giver. Without the Bible we could never follow the true way of life." Then Mohammed might say, "No, we must decide everything based on the Koran." Then there would be even more serious debates. But think about it. What is more important and significant than those holy books? You Unification Church members are saints or near-saints -- or should be anyway. What is more significant than the Bible, the Koran, or any book? What is the point about which all the saints would say, "Yes, I agree that that is the most important thing of all"?

Yes, it's true love. No one would oppose this. Even Satan knows this. The most important things are true love, true life, and true living. People have been so serious about the Koran and the Bible, yet the purpose of these books was to lead people to a conscientious way of life, the true way of life. The books themselves are not the goal.

Suppose these three things -- true love, true life, and true living -- came up for consideration as the most important things in the world. Would you and Confucius and Jesus all vote for them? Yes, and all five billion people in the world would agree about these three points. Do you think anyone would find any objection to this conclusion, saying, "That's not enough"? Not likely.

How about God? Would God reject that conclusion? No, even God would have to agree. But should God say first, "This is what I know you need"? Or should the four saints go to God and say, "God, there is nothing more precious than this. This is what we are longing for. Please give it to us."

Today's topic is "The Will and I." What is the will of God, anyway? The will of God is that man should stand in a certain position and go in a certain direction -- the true love direction. That is what God wanted to express from the very beginning. If saints leave their position and go in a deviated direction, they no longer have anything to do with God or God's will. If the saints do not become one with the will of God, can they remain in the position of saints?

Imagine that the Unification Church is a big exhibition center where all the different things that God wants to see are exhibited.

Shouldn't a person on display stay where he is supposed to stay and go in the direction he is supposed to go? Here is the American museum. But suppose the museum moves to Korea and all the objects have to be moved to the Korean museum. Will the objects say, "No, I don't want to go to the Korean museum. I am fine in the American museum"? What if the display were to go to Africa. Would the objects say, "No, I would rather not go to the African museum"? The purpose of the display is to show the whole world. If that person on display says such things, is that person connected with God's will or has he failed?

As a human being, actually as a saint, we must say, "There is a way I must go. There is a way I must follow, whether it be straight or winding. Whatever I may personally feel about it, still I am destined to go that way."

It is very hard to know God and stay with God, but at least we know the head of the museum, who can tell us where we are supposed to be. There are many religions and some are very good, but who is qualified to be the head of the museum of religion? All of the religions of the world have been separated; they have been fighting and they have been confused, but there is one that spends millions and millions of dollars plus time and effort and prayer to bring all the world's religions together.

In the religious world, people are saying that the only hope of the religious world is Rev. Moon. He has brought religious people to the point where they would rather worship together than apart. What is the purpose of the Unification Church? Is it to separate Buddhism from Christianity or to divide the Christian churches? No. The purpose of the Unification Church, of course, is to bring all the churches together into one.

Many churches still insist merely on the truth of their own scripture. But there is one church that places much more importance upon these three things -- true love, true life, and true living. Would God go to a place where utmost importance is put on doctrine or would He follow us here? Why? Because when people come here, they can always find their rightful position -- being an object to the true subject, God.

Once you have correctly established the position of subject and object, you can always talk to God. You are free in this position of object to God, and you can find real peace and security there. You are provided for; you have no worries. As long as you take these three things seriously, then you don't have to worry about anything else, because this is the will of God.

As you have noticed, the words "life," "love," and "living" are all abstract nouns. They do not have a shape. Therefore, God took time and great pains to make physical things out of His ideas. Men and women were created by God with substantial, physical bodies to be the embodiment of true love, true life, and true living.

Did God inject true life and love into man or did man inject it into God? God did it, therefore, He is the subject body. He is the center of being, the one who exists totally for the sake of others. This is the way God intended it. This is the philosophy that the Unification Church is teaching -- the philosophy of living for the sake of others. This is very, very important; this is the very essence of God's ideal. What is true life? God is the center of life, and He invested His own life into the creation. That is true life. God invested Himself completely, not halfway. He did not keep some back. That is what "true" means. True life means that God has completely placed Himself into others.

True life is direct. It allows for no deviation. But if you just continue going straight ahead and never return, there can be no ideal. The ideal exists where there is perpetual circular motion, going out and coming back again and again, forever. With true life alone there can be no ideal. You need a response, or else there is no eternity. But true love has the power to make you turn around, so when you add true love to true life, the ideal is created. Look at little children -- they never want to just go in a straight line even for a minute. They want to go around and around. Aren't you that way too? Why is love so precious and necessary? Because love brings you your object or subject. Why did God inject such preciousness -- His own self and life -- into man? Isn't it because God also needs love? Does God take pleasure in always pulling you in one direction? Doesn't He need some response? When He pulls on you, wouldn't He want you to pull back on Him?

God invested in us until He had nothing left. He emptied Himself completely. That is the nature of being true. So we should give something back to Him, shouldn't we? How? By living for the sake of others. When you life for the sake of others, there is a force always coming back and igniting love. Do you follow?

This is how God is: God invests everything into a being, and then that being experiences love. Then that explosive love will be returned back to the original Being who made all that investment. God created everything according to this principle.

Since God gave everything to man, a man should want to give everything to a woman. Then the woman will want to give everything back to the man, and the man will want to give everything back to God. Things are created that way. When this give and take action takes place in a lively way, then the two will come into complete unity and never separate. That is the focal point of God's love. When a man and woman are really in love and live in love, God is living there too. That is the most ideal place, the nucleus.

This is the secret of a subject/object relationship, the secret of being a spouse. Pour your love into your spouse; live for the sake of your spouse; do things for his sake, day after day. When he gets saturated, he may say, "Why are you doing all this? I don't want this," and he may even want to escape. But if you continue loving him, he will turn around and return your love. Love will grow. That is the Principle of Creation.

What are saints? Saints are the ones who are ahead of other people in realizing, practicing, and teaching this principle. In other words, saints are people who have expanded this realm of living for the sake of others. It's all part of the law of the creation. We must go and we must love. We must put all our love and everything we've got into our families, into other people, and into the nation. This is the course we have to follow, and then this living principle will just go around and around and expand throughout space.

There is only one way for us to go. I, as an individual, must love my spouse and then bring all of society into oneness and later meet God. Then I will fall in love with God and jump into that love and live happily day by day. When I really live for the sake of other people, the society, and the nation, love always comes back to me. If you are trying to find love, that is the wrong process. You cannot "find" love. That goes against the process of the law of creation. You have to invest yourself first. Have you done that? Have your poured your love into your spouse? Love is bound to come back to you as much as you have poured your life into the other. When that happens, love starts coming back.

We are establishing this tradition here on earth for the first time in history. I have lived for the sake of leaving this tradition behind. I have lived absolutely consistently with the will of God. I always put in everything I've got. I spare nothing. I always search out how I can give even more. Then all things start to follow me. That is when ownership begins. That is when you start to truly own things. A husband and wife may think they love each other and say they love each other, but if one disagrees with the other and gets offended and they start quarreling, that is obviously not love. Love is when we want to put our whole life into the relationship so there is nothing more to put in. Then love starts coming back. Then there is no more quarreling.

The more we love, the more love and ownership will come to us. That is the living, daily philosophy of the Unification Church. When we practice this, we are guaranteed to be on the right path. Even if we do not realize where we are going, we are going in the right direction.

Imagine a big family with many, many brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts and in-laws. Who is going to be the center of that family, the master of that house, in the future? It will be the person who invests the most into that family, giving everything he's got for the sake of the other family members day in and day out and not expecting anything in return. You can predict who is going to be the center of that household and be the true owner of everything. Everyone and everything will want to belong to that person.

We know we must love the world, but that concept is too vague. How do we love? This is something that Unification Church members must know. We've got to put our life totally into what we are doing -- just as God did for us; then all things will want to belong to us. In order to own everything with love, give. Give all you have. This is our credo.

Don't say, "Where is love?" Don't say, "My husband must love me," or "I expect love from my wife." If you do, peace and love can never be realized within your family. There is no love until we put our love in. Do you understand? This is an amazing truth. On an individual level all the way up to the national level, we must love unto our very lives. Put in everything you have, then your investment will return as love towards you. How wonderful that is!

If you want to be a true mother or true father, you must ask yourself how much you have loved your children in a righteous way. Children who are loved absolutely will never want to leave you, even if you scold them. When everything comes back to you and wants to be owned by you, then you can live happily every day. That is the ideal. God loves us, but we have to love God too. All things belong to God, and if we love God, all things also belong to us. There is no other way to own anything in the universe except through loving God. Then we begin to own things.

Now we know all men and women must go this way. How do you know if you've invested everything? Your own mind knows before anyone has to tell you. You know whether you have given your 100 percent or not. Nobody needs to tell you. In the spirit world you will not be able to pretend, because everything will be revealed. Daily living for the sake of each other is the ideal. There is no other way you can find the ideal. Did you know that God tries to love even Satan? That is the amazing reality we must learn.

Every day I am so excited that I hate it when one day ends; I can't wait until the next day dawns. That kind of excitement is the ideal way. Unless and until we put everything we have into what we are doing, we cannot realize true joy. Just put in more and more everyday without thinking what will be returned. Then you will always have more and more -- never less. I have always followed this formula.

At the last moment you may feel you have done enough. Then insist on putting in one more bit of effort. This one step makes all the difference. When love owns you, you can't oppose it. You have to belong to somebody. How can you object to belonging to someone who truly loves you?

Do you think I'm a happy person? Why do you think so? Because I know that in the future, even Satan, even the Communists, will not be able to oppose me. How can they oppose me when I love them?

What is the will of God? It is to fulfill the ideal of creation, which is to form a four position foundation and live for the sake of others. Then all the love ownership comes back to God. The person who has done this will have lived the will of God. Such a couple will be an ideal family and live happily ever after. This is the nucleus through which the whole world can be connected. The world is an extension of such a family.

The ideal life is putting everything we have into our ideal. No country will oppose this way of life; therefore, we can go anywhere and be welcome. This is the ideal; this is the will of God and this is our philosophy. If we really live this philosophy, won't the world become the ideal world?

The secular world today has its philosophy: "I want to be loved. I'm going to take whatever I can get." With that philosophy, there can never be unity or peace. The Unification Church's teaching and God's formula is to live for the sake of other people. Then automatically, the world will come into unity.

How can we say that it will automatically come into unity? Because God lives that way. If we live that way, our unity becomes broader and broader. God lives the way I have described, and we are about to live the same way. This is the way I have always lived. There is no other way; there is no other secret but this. The proof is striking. Now we all see that the ideal world is at hand.

Do you say, "Oh, I expect the ideal world will come pretty soon. I'd like to sit in that kind of world, and when I die, I will go to heaven." If we think like that, we are no better than thieves. What is a thief? He doesn't work, yet he takes everything. You have to realize that you have come thus far because of the investment of True Parents. Without that investment, you would not be able to participate in God's world.

If we do not do enough, how can we stand in front of God? Our conscience will not permit us to. One thing we should never be in the future is ashamed of ourselves. I have always lived conscious of the fact that I could never lead a life I was ashamed of.

We need salvation. This is a very real situation. We want to be saved, and we will be saved, not with shame but with dignity. We cannot eat as we like; we cannot sleep as we like; we cannot say and do things as we like when there is the possibility that later we might be ashamed of that action. At this very moment, our brothers and sisters are losing their lives in the hands of Satan. How can we be complacent?

You must not just borrow this way of thinking and this way of life from me, but you must make it your own. You must be proud of the concept itself and live this life just as I do, so that you can become true descendants. I do not just think this, I live it. It is not just words; it is actions. Do you understand clearly?

Now we know how we will achieve salvation; how we can be saved with dignity, without shame. We are all individual messiahs of love. When we practice love, love will come back to us, with ownership. That is reality.

Plant love and you will never perish. You may suffer, but you will never perish and you will never be ashamed. Do you understand? Those who say, "Father, I understand deeply now and I will live the way of love," raise your hands. Let us pray.

Let Us Go Over The Original Boundary

Today is the first day of April, the month of blossoming flowers. The title of today's message is, "Let Us Go Over the Original Boundary." Where is that original boundary? What kind of world do we live in? The place in which we now live is not the original world but is, in a way, the opposite of the original world. Because of the fall of man, this fallen world came into being. We must have this understanding very clear in our minds.

The question we must ask is, why did separation occur and the opposite fallen world come into being? Why was the original world not realized? Was the design defective? Was something lacking? Or was the original world in itself perfect but something else intervened? The master of the original world, the Creator, was God. God is almighty and perfect. The perfect God created and designed the original world, so it should not have any defect. It should be perfect. So how did the original world become defective? A certain being conspired to make this happen.

What is the definition of the original world? The original world has only one master. The fallen world is different. It has come under a foreign master, and more than one. Therefore, our entire effort and struggle has been to search after the one original master.

Why should the world have boundaries? If the entire globe was one nation there would be no need for boundaries. The original world would in itself have no reason for boundaries. However, because the fallen world came into being, many boundaries are needed.

If there were no fall, who would be the master, the owner of the whole universe? Yes, God is the owner of the original world. What did God have in mind for His original world? God wanted to dwell together with and share life and have dominion over His creation. In the original world, all beings and creatures were supposed to be living for the sake of their Creator. Everything would be ready to accept, even in very rare and remote spots, a visit from the Creator. The Creator could not visit and embrace them every day, but they would understand. Maybe seven years would pass between visits, but all the creatures would be ready to embrace their owner, the Creator, at any time.

What is the glue that binds together the Creator and all the creatures? What is pulling everything together? It is the true love relationship. True love in the original form. That is the central power to bring the two into a reciprocal relationship.

If that owner or Creator is truly a center of love, then even though billions of years elapsed, there would be no change. All the creatures would still be yearning to form a loving relationship with their Creator.

The created world can be divided into the mineral, animal, and plant kingdoms. All things have a common element, whether they are part of the animal, plant, or mineral kingdom. There is a certain common thread running through everything-they all have a quality that makes them capable of participating in the give and take of love.

Look at the animal kingdom. The central figure of that kingdom is man, who has five senses-sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. We usually talk only about these senses, but some people talk about a sixth sense and I have talked about seven senses. The seventh sense is our antenna to know God. Without that antenna, you have no ability to know God. Actually, if the fall hadn't occurred, perfected people would have enjoyed seven senses. But fallen man only has five senses. Animals have those same five senses.

What about viruses? What about disease cells-germs? Are those animals or plants? Do you think a germ has eyes? Of course, you can't identify them like human eyes, but they must have some vision within their own structure. If God did not allow germs to have eyes, then they would come and protest, "God, what happened? You gave eyes to all the other creatures, so why didn't You give them to me?" Then God would say, "I've heard your complaint. You're right. You deserve eyes. Here they are."

What about ears? Does a germ have ears? Even if we can't imagine a germ having ears, theoretically we have to accept that a germ has ears and a nose. If there is no nose, that means that a germ can survive in a complete vacuum. But they have to breathe. Are there male germs and female germs? What about it-is there marriage in the germ world?

Even in the germ world, there are certain original relationships of love. That ability is there to some degree. There is joyful expression within the germ world and joyful expression in the human world. Of course, the human world is more real to you. Did the germ world have a fall? Do they commit fallen acts and sins? No. Therefore, in reality the germ world may be closer to the original world.

Now everybody at least recognizes and accepts that the animal kingdom is divided into male and female. What about the plant kingdom? Are there female and male elements? Yes, no question about it. Do they also have eyes, noses, ears, and mouths? Yes. You Moonies have to think about these things that nobody else has thought about. Perhaps you come to the conclusion, "Well, plants must also have mouths, ears, noses, and eyes." When the plants hear that statement, would they like it or would they reject it? All these things are most likely true in the plant kingdom.

What about the mineral kingdom? Are there still eyes, ears, noses, mouths-five senses? When you look at the microscopic world, atoms, for example, can be divided into electrons and protons and neutrons. Those elements are clearly there. You can separate an electron to the east and a proton to the west, but they will immediately move toward each other with magnetic power, pulling into original unity. Electrons circle around protons. They display plus and minus charges, which symbolizes male and female character. You might try to deny that the electron and proton and neutron have five senses, but how can you explain that they are all trying to find each other, trying to attract or repel one another?

Let's say that a proton and an electron had some kind of eye disease. They would need to go to a doctor. If a doctor could treat them, wouldn't they appreciate it? They would be excited. The atomic creatures would say, "Look at the human world. They have all kinds of doctors-eye doctors, nose doctors, ear doctors, hand doctors, dentists -so why don't we have doctors?" The electrons and protons would protest. If something went out of order and there were no doctor to fix it up, they would feel insecure.

Today, America is afflicted by the plague of AIDS. Some people have predicted that in 10 years' time, 100 million people will be casualties. There is no cure, no medicine, no doctor. So what do we see in our society today? Insecurity. Panic. 10 years from now the population of America could possibly be reduced by half. Does that mean the Moonie population will be reduced, too?

All the way down to the level of electrons and protons, there should be a solution to all problems and diseases. The solution is simple. We have to have medicine and a prescription, a doctor with the right treatment. Such a doctor has to be omnipotent; he has to know everything and be virtually almighty. He should have all knowledge and all wisdom. That kind of doctor alone can devise a solution to all our ills. Who has such power? Only God is such a being. God then must have some sort of secret formula-like a magic prescription. That magic prescription will come up with a panacea, a cure-all. If you receive the panacea, your stomach-ache is gone in a moment. Cancer goes away. Lung problems go away. Tuberculosis-no problem. The panacea can be applied anywhere and it gives an instant cure. What is it? God will say, "I have that magic panacea medicine to cure all. The name of that medicine is true love." When a proton and electron listen to that answer, they would say, "Well, that sounds right. It sounds good." It is convincing, even to an electron.

True love is that kind of powerful cure-all and panacea. God Almighty has to have some kind of solution to all the problems or else God Himself would be in great insecurity.

He would have no power to govern the world. Do you see?

The Unification Church is applying this particular prescription. One individual came to the church in terrible shape. He was sick, full of aches and pains. But he kept hanging on and hanging on, and after a few months, he got better and became stronger and stronger. I feel sure he will live a long time-maybe to 100 years of age!

Why do we like true love so much? It is because true love is our panacea, our cure-all. Even in the most dark and gloomy place, walking in the jungle, you can light it up with true love, and then all things come alive and focus on you.

The human body is a microcosm of the universe. There are minerals, plant and animal substances within your small universe. The human body is a most sophisticated creation. When true love knocks at the door of the human body, what happens? All the billions of cells are immediately activated and ecstatic. The five senses come alive- every cell wants to touch the beloved. The eyes want to see the lover's face, the ears want to hear lovely music.

When all your cells are activated, they feel absolutely out of this world. They feel they are in heaven. All beauty is there and they feel there is no obstacle. They feel so much freedom. Even your eyes sometimes go upside down. As soon as true love reaches for the eyes, they leap out at it. You love true love, don't you?

Okay, I've given you a good appetite this morning, so that is enough, isn't it? It's not? Think of it: in the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms, all the billions and trillions of cells are engaging in all kinds of fellowship. Without the panacea of true love, how in the world could God even try to have dominion over all things? It would be impossible. The universal declaration is, "Here I am, the absolute personification of true love. In every cell of my body, in all my five, six, seven senses, I am a representative of true love." When you can truly make that declaration, what happens? You will be like a gigantic magnet, pulling all the universal elements into place. Everything will line up centering upon you because you are the center of true love.

The universal law is such that as soon as you become a central figure of true love, all the creatures follow you because that is their coveted core. This is true not only for human beings, but for all creatures. In a world of true love there will be no barriers because you enjoy absolute freedom. Wherever you go, you find harmony and total cooperation. How can you have boundaries in such a world? Even if one hair gets untangled from true love, it will send out a signal-like a robot sending out a beep- and the universe will react to it.

In terms of true love which creature is the most sensitive and sophisticated in its perception? Man is that very creature. Does this make you feel good? You are the supreme creature. This is why the universe is constructed with the pair system-male and female, plus and minus. This is an incredible discovery of Reverend Moon's. It is more than just theory.

The grass on the Belvedere lawn is green and growing, trying to take in the sunlight and to become stronger and thicker. Then suppose a man comes and steps on it. Normally, the grass would react, "Who is this guy? Why is he pushing down on me? Get out of here! Ouch!" But if that man is a man of true love, the grass will say, "Push me down more, more. I want to be crushed under your foot!" When a man of true love takes a walk in the mountains or hillsides, every creature, even the stone and gravel, wants to stay with his loving foot even one second more. They are pulling on him, saying, "Stay a little longer." Even a rock would say, "Although I am a very tough, hard guy, please push on me. I want to be close to you."

A man who radiates true love wherever he goes will find that whatever he touches, whatever he eats, whatever he wears, everything will want to enjoy ecstatic harmony with him. They will say, "Please do more. Please wear me more. Please consume more of me." When true love enters your eyes, it is not only the eyes that will react. The eyes will send a signal to the ears and the ears will open up. The ears will send a signal to the nose, "Open up." The nose will send a signal to the mouth and the mouth will relay the signal. We can witness this phenomena even in the fallen world. Look at teenagers. As soon as they sense love, its power is so great, it can completely remake young men and women. Much energy comes to them, and they don't know what to do with that energy. They don't even consider the darkness of night; they don't care if they have to walk hard, long distances. They just want to pursue that love.

When a person is sleeping and true love comes knocking, the whole body turns in that direction. All of a sudden, you are wide awake. It is not easy to describe true love, but you have a realistic feeling of what true love is like, don't you? (Yes!)

What about the lips? The lips are made up of billions of cells which are sensitive to any expression of love. Anything that is perceived by the lips, they immediately transmit it like lightning to the sexual organs. They are directly connected. There is a hotline between them. That is why they are so red. Women try to make them even redder, a more radiant red. You are looking around like a searching antenna, trying to touch something.

God gave everyone such an antenna. Do you have it too? Are you sure? When you eat a meal, you don't want to eat alone but with someone you love. Even across a table, the give and take of love occurs. You want to be in that kind of environment where you live and where you work. I am speaking about the original world where every creature and being is activated in search of pure, true love. The most incredibly sensitive and sophisticated yet pure dialogue of true love is always going on. That is the original world.

In the original world, when love touches one place, it expands immediately outward. One bit of love multiplies one million, one billion times. In the fallen world, it is completely the opposite. In the fallen world, love shrinks. If you give this much, it shrinks and you can lose everything. People say, "I don't care about the universe or God. I'm just concerned with me, me, me." Even when they talk about "me" it is not the spiritual self, but the physical self. The physical body craves physical food- more and more, and it is completely blocked and isolated. It does not enjoy community. It knows nothing of the vast world of giving. This is the reality of the fallen world centered upon evil men. Do you follow? God did not create the evil world. It was originally God's world but because man fell and became separated and departed from God, mankind created for themselves an evil world.

This event took place tens of thousands of years ago. How in one short lifetime can we understand and perceive it fully? It is virtually impossible. The work of God has been the work of cleansing, sweeping away this stain. The original world has been stained by evil and the cleaning process will take tens of thousands of years in order to remove all the evil elements. This cleaning process of God is called restoration. If God asked all the creatures in the fallen world, "Don't you want to go back to the original world as quickly as possible?" They would say, "Yes sir, we do."

When you are moving fast, you may get a scratch on your leg, a bruise, or you could even break your leg. Nevertheless, everyone would say, "No problem, Father. I'm still going to get to the original world." That is true for the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom, and the animal kingdom. Every creature says, "Even if a portion of myself has to be sacrificed, I still want to go there quickly."

This is why the tradition of the religious world is one of sacrificial offerings. This tradition came to exist because of the very principle I spoke of a few minutes ago. All the mineral creatures exist for the sake of the plant kingdom. The plant kingdom was created by God for the sake of the animal kingdom. Animals were made for the sake of man. If we human beings must make some sacrifice, our attitude should be, "I want to reach that goal as quickly as possible." The human being, the highest part of the creation, feels the same as the other creatures.

We have seen the three stages of growth. The first was the Old Testament era, then there was the New Testament era and now we are in the Completed Testament era. The central line threading through these three eras is the spirit of sacrifice. We ourselves should become living sacrifices to expedite our journey toward true love.

We must go over that boundary. Even if a portion of ourselves had to be sacrificed for the good of the whole, we should be willing so that we could reach the true love goal as quickly as possible. As you know in the Old Testament era, the things of creation were offered as a sacrifice. Thus plants and animals were used as offerings or sacrifices. What was the New Testament era? That was the era in which the beloved son of God became a sacrifice for the sake of the whole. In the Completed Testament, the time of the Second Advent, what is the new concept of loyalty and offering? All the sons become sacrifices for the sake of the parents.

What are the True Parents sacrificing for? It is for the sake of true love and for the sake of God, the eternal Father in heaven. When we understand this, we see clearly that everything is connected from the mineral kingdom all the way up to the love of God. There is one common trunk line or thread throughout. That is the spirit of sacrifice for the higher attainment of true love. There is only one way to get there, not two ways.

The Christian cultural sphere has been working toward this same goal, but they have largely lost their vision. They are perishing quickly and their influence is low. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." But he didn't say the fourth important point: "I am the love." At that time, Jesus was not in a position to fulfill that love because he had no object through whom to work. He could fulfill the first three, but not number four. Love is the ultimate goal. "I am the way"-what way? The way of love. "I am the truth." What kind of truth? The truth of love. There would be no need for religious teaching in the original world because we would automatically know all about love.

When Jesus said he was the way, he did not give a definition of that. What kind of way-a way of living, a way of business? Liberation theology says that the way is a political one. Is that our way? We fundraise-therefore, do we say our way is an economic one? Is our way an evangelistic way? Ours is the love way. There are many truths in the world. What kind of truth do you want? What kind of love do you want? You want absolute love, true love. Creatures stand in one position, loving and looking everywhere, feeling love with their five's senses. Are you like that? Are your eyes love eyes? Do you have a love mouth, love ears? What about a love body, love heart?

Who is the leader of the Unification Church? It is Reverend Moon. What kind of teaching does Reverend Moon have? He has the love teaching. Is it clear? Satan cannot take that away. It is mine forever. You have to have true love and be able to say, "I am the center of the universe." Those are the correct words. Is that clear?

Suppose some being is chosen to go the sacrificial way. That being might say, "Oh, no, I cannot go that route." Instead, it should say, "Thank you, Father, for the great honor of serving." If you truly understand true love, you would be grateful for that opportunity. Who is Reverend Moon? He clearly knows the distinctions between the original world and the fallen world and he clearly knows the boundaries. Therefore, my mission is to break through the barriers and demolish them. Our entire movement is working for the removal of those barriers-in Korea, Japan, the United States, Germany, and elsewhere. You must know one simple truth: men and women were born for the sake of love. We came to this world for the sake of the fulfillment of love. God created men and women for the sake of His true love. Therefore, to sacrifice for the sake of fulfilling true love is our divine duty as human beings. This is a great honor.

From this time on, our goal is to break through and completely tear down the barriers. God is looking for a model to place in a special museum. He wants to display models of the most historic, dramatic instances of the victory in breaking through the barriers. Even if God had not thought about such a museum, we should propose it to Him.

There are so many boundaries and divisions in this fallen world. There are divided tribes, clans, nations, cultures, colors, and creeds. Anyone who breaks through those boundaries for the sake of true love shall be a world champion. Once such a model man appears he will also become a champion in the animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms, as well as a champion in the spirit world. You can say to God, "If I am chosen as a champion of the human world, I shall deserve to be a model in Your museum." God will reply, "Yes, that is true."

The Unification Church is the place where the museum pieces are being created. They are being selected, hardened and polished here. In the Unification Church there are all races, all six continents are represented, all the different languages and colors of humanity. This is the most fertile ground from which to select the champions for such museum pieces. God is picking each one of you and testing you, discovering how hard and durable you are by throwing you into a hot furnace. By doing this, God sees whether you are incinerated or if you are hardening yourself. God will say, "Mm-hm. Now I know you can become my museum piece."

That furnace of God is home church. He is picking you champions and sending you to home church, to see if you deserve to become a museum piece. Your 360 homes represent 360 different tribes, nations, and races. Actually, God is letting you be hardened and polished so that when you come out of that furnace, you will be genuine gold. You can melt the 360 different races and tribes by true love. Your home church area will become a melting pot because of you.

When you pass the love test, God will pick you up and label you, "This is my museum piece." Then He will hold a worldwide Expo and the museum pieces will come from all six continents. They will be displayed with a big gold label which says, "This is my champion. Look at him. Look at her."

In a way, you are taking a love injection to the 360 homes. When you give them that love injection, they will be absolutely rejuvenated. They will come alive and shout with joy. This is the strategy of God. The home church area is a sample area of the world. When we give a love injection to our home church area, it can be melted into pure gold. Then all the world can become a part of that.

No matter how clever, wise, great or honorable is the work you do, unless you go through the melting pot of true love, you will not be eligible to become God's champion. What do you think? Do you want to join this crusade? Do you feel, "Well, Reverend Moon says so. I don't particularly feel like doing it, but I may have to." Is that going to be your attitude or are you going to take initiative? You are plunging into the original world. That is your privilege. What a great honor, don't you think so? Can you bet your life on it? Is it a worthy cause to bet your life on? You Americans are pragmatists. Do you feel that this is a worthy cause, more worthy than your life? If you don't, you will flunk the course. Even though you have been running this course for many years, ultimately you will be labeled, "Failure. You flunk."

No matter what, you can be grateful to God and True Parents because you do not have to begin from scratch. I laid the foundation already and gained the victory on the national level. No matter what, the United States has to follow God's dispensational will. We are coming to the worldwide stage. The United States of America is like a desert. It is poverty-stricken. What does it lack? Love. There is a poverty of love. Men and women in this country have become poverty-stricken for lack of love. They want to go over the boundary to meet their parents but that boundary is too high to cross over. They want to meet with their own brothers and sisters but the walls between them are too high. They cannot cross over. Therefore, the Young men and women in this country are withering away.

God has not abandoned the United States. He is giving this country a love formula and the mold for achieving it. Anyone who is pressed into that mold can become a person of true love. The only one who is bringing that mold to this country is Reverend Moon. "True Father" means the personification of true love. He is the one who manifests true love and is a dynamo generating that true love. When you bring true love to someone, no matter how hardened and cold-looking he is, you can unlock his whole being. If you bring true love to a family, the family's problem will be solved. Once you connect to true love and get even a small taste of it, from that point on you cannot go away. Even if you kicked them away, people would just fly over trying to reach you.

True love has that kind of power. How wonderful true love is! If a true love fly is flying around, you would try to catch it. Are you trying to catch it or have you caught it? What position are you in? If you are sitting directly on true love, you have such a feeling, such a sense of security and safety.

My temperature is high today-my true love temperature is one hundred thousand degrees. That is why my heart is racing and I am sweating so much. If anyone says, "God, I'm betting my life for the sake of true love! I am Yours. I am totally committed," the entire universe will be completely electrified and mobilized. That person will be brought right up to heaven. Everything about him will be radiant!

Have you ever pledged like that, betting your life for the sake of true love? Have you ever had that experience? In the Old Testament era, so many sacrifices were paid even when they only had a vague concept of true love. In the New Testament era, the great saints of Christianity died with only a vague concept of true love. Now, True Parents have come. They have dedicated their whole being to give and share true love with humanity. What about you? How much have you dedicated? Have you committed your life? True love is so real now, so clear. It is one billion times more valuable than your life. But how much has any one of us truly committed our life to it? Do you think it is worth it? Is it a "good deal," in American parlance? It is a good deal to give one's life to obtain true love.

I'm going to close my eyes and then ask you a question. Can you say, "April 1st-today-is a new beginning. A new spring is coming. I want to show my true determination by raising both hands in the air." Now I am going to open my eyes. Amazing! In your heart, is it true? This time I believe you!

What do you think-is Reverend Moon a wise man or a dumb one? How wise Reverend Moon is, you really have no idea. But I will give you one illustration. When I am debating with God, God ends up saying, "Amen, all right, you're right."

Does God have a mouth? Then suppose you command God, "Please open Your mouth." God will say, "Why should I? For the sake of money, power, or wisdom? No. I have those already." Then you can reply, "No, sir. For the sake of true love. We'll show You true love." Then God will open His mouth wide and say, "Ah!" Then you could say to God, "Don't close Your mouth for the rest of eternity. Keep it open." God will say, "Oh ho ho, ha, ha, that is great."

If you throw a love hook into God's mouth, He will not feel pain at all, no matter how hard you pull. This is another reason I love fishing. It is very symbolic. My fishing pole has a "love hook." The bait is love bait. All things want to be hooked by the love hook. If I pull it, all the creatures will say, "Pull more, pull faster." They will not want to run away; they will want to be pulled faster and faster because of the love hook.

God also has to be pulled by that love hook which has arrived for the first time on earth. Then will God say, "What did you do to me? You've invited me in such an outrageous way!" No, God would not say that. He will say, "This is my first visit to the face of the earth." He will be ecstatic and He will say, "This is truly heaven, isn't it?"

Actually, men and women are fishing for each other. Certain women are pulled by certain men. What pulls them? A love hook. You know you are hooked by love so you want to be pulled much faster, right?

Now you know why I push you out, kick you out into the wilderness. You are going out there to fish. Go ahead. Enter the contest of true love and become a museum piece of God. That is my wish. Without going the path of the cross, no one can reach true love. The road of sacrifice is the way of God and the only way to attain true love. For my entire life, I have been bearing the cross. Mother has accompanied me and so have all the members of the True Family. I am still bearing the cross of true love.

Everybody is hooked one way or another by the true love hook. Some are hooked by a little bit of skin here or by a little finger. Some are hooked by the nose, some by the eyes, in some cases by the clothes, or a few threads. In some cases, you are hooked by the heart. Which would you like? If you are hooked by the heart, will you have a heart attack? Even if you feel pain, the pain of love is a joyful pain. So, a love heart attack is no problem. It will not kill you; it will revive you instead.

You said, "I want to bet my life!" Suppose I gave you the direction, "Take off for Moscow today and work in the underground movement. You are going to be God's spy in Moscow." What would you say? Would you be afraid to go? I want you to know, if you had to give up your life in that fashion, a love tree would grow in the place where you died.

What do you think? When I speak to you-do you feel the word of God to your bone? Do you feel inspired? Reverend Moon, as you said, is a wise man. I am not dumb, as you agreed. This wise man, Reverend Moon, bet his life for this cause and came to America. Do you think he could have come to America without betting his life? No way. I came to America for what? For a heavenly collision with the world. I came to America for the sake of true love. I knew that once true love was detonated, it would cover the entire country of the United States and the rest of the world.

Now in all fifty states, the fire of true love is flaring up. When you are ignited by true love, you can have no complaint. You always want to go down lower, be more humble, more grateful. Did each of you raise your hand to bet your life?

What do you think: this beautiful woman here is betting her life. Suppose the ugliest woman is also betting her life. Which one do you think God will pay more attention to? In ancient times, some primitive tribes sacrificed virgin women to their gods. They always selected and captured the most beautiful woman because they felt that had more sacrificial value. What about Reverend Moon - is he a handsome guy? Is he an able man or a very incapable man? That kind of man - capable and able - when he bet his life, it had incredible value. God has hand-picked one man as the eternal and universal sacrifice among four billion people. That is Reverend Moon.

After using Reverend Moon in such an incredible, extraordinary way of sacrifice, do you think God will throw Reverend Moon away into the wastebasket or will he welcome him into the palace? God has already prepared a most gorgeous, luxurious, and splendid palace.

Do you feel lucky to have met me? Once I have taught you plainly of God and told you the plain truth, then you feel you cannot come to me without fulfilling that truth. God the Father is teaching this truth to you in order to harvest and reap the fruit, not just for the sake of teaching. I want the kind of fruit that bears seed. When the seed is planted, even if it is in the North Pole, a Reverend Moonlike character will blossom out.

First of all, we have to go over the boundary of the fallen world into the original world. You've got to be aligned in a truly reciprocal relationship of subject and object going in one direction to God. There is only one direction to God. What if I am directing you to go to the east, but then you say, "I don't have to do it Father's way. I want to do it my way." Would that be following one direction? Would that work? Only one direction can break through the boundary. The love way is one way, forever. It is like a formula and everything follows it.

The problem is this: unless you fulfill this while you are here on earth, you will spend eternity in a shambles when you are elevated to the spirit world. Men and women-when you approach each other as husband and wife, there is only one way-centered on true love. Many American marriages today are convenient: "You have your bank account, I have my bank account. There's your closet and my closet, your luggage, my luggage." As soon as something changes, "Okay, I'll pack my stuff. Bye bye." That is not a true concept of marriage. No matter how tired you are, at midnight or two or three in the morning, if your spouse comes and says get up, you get up, period. You shouldn't complain, "Look at your watch, look at the time!"

Suppose I make an announcement that Belvedere service will be held at 3:30 a.m. Isn't it true that you are only applauding because I am here? If I were not here, you would say, "Three-thirty? That's crazy. Six o'clock is already crazy but three-thirty is even crazier." But if I give you a three-thirty sermon, it will be a sweet sermon. It will be so sweet, your tongue will be hanging out. Those who want to come at six o'clock can stay behind. For those few who come at three-thirty, I won't give the sermon here. I will take them away to the mountain top.

When you break through the barrier of the fallen world, you cannot break through in an ordinary way. It is almost like launching a rocket. You have to break through the sound barrier, you have to break through gravity, so you've got to have extraordinary speed and power. Once you break the sound and gravity barriers, you go into orbit. Some American women don't particularly like men. They say, "We want to take off and go into orbit without men, on one wing." Is that what you want? What kind of satellite would you like to shoot up into space? A homosexual or lesbian satellite? Individual? Family? Tribe? Nation? What kind of rocket would you like to launch? At least you have an appetite for great adventure, don't you? Is it easy? No, it isn't. I am now working on a rocket-a world-level space missile. The launching of that one rocket will affect the entire world. Do you think it is easy? When that is launched, communism shall disappear from the face of the earth. We are not going to demolish the communists, however. We are going to liberate them, save them. They are truly the victims of communism.

Everything is within the pair system. This is the reason unity is so important in the Unification Church. This is where the Blessing comes in. The love of men and women mixed together is sweet but love is bitter otherwise.

God's tongue is particularly bitter. Therefore, whenever you say, "I bet my life," that means for the women that you bet your life for the sake of your husband. For the man, it means he bets his life for the sake of his wife. Is that true? (Yes.) Furthermore, this kind of couple, husband and wife, bet their lives for the sake of their children. (Yes.) That whole family bets their lives for the sake of the well-being of the tribe and of the nation. That family becomes a sacrificial offering. That means that the Unification Church, which is the most multi-national, multi-racial organization-we are betting our lives for the sake of the world's well-being, for all of humanity.

Each of us should think, "My life is not my life. It is given as an instrument. God, please use my life for the sake of the ultimate fulfillment of true love for the sake of humanity, for the sake of the world, for Your sake." This is the duty of men and women.

Blessed couples, raise your hands, please. Between you husbands and wives, have you had some boxing matches? You are forming the family. My criterion is that the wife and husband bet their lives for the sake of each other, for their children, and bet the lives of their children for the sake of the nation, and so forth. Do you feel you are fulfilling such a mandate in your home and becoming the champion of love for this universe? Do you have that kind of commitment and determination in your family life? How can husband and wife fight or give each other dirty looks, hating each other, particularly when you go to home church? When you are just doing it for the sake of formality, reluctantly, "Our duty," you reap nothing.

When God gave instructions to me all of a sudden, "Go to the United States. Save America," do you think I turned around to God and said, "How can I save America? What did You give me?" I did not ask that question. God had already given me true love. That is the weapon, the instrument, the treasure I have been bringing to this land.

After I came to this country, people persecuted me, ridiculed me, and assassinated my character. All this time, that has been my daily life. In the meantime, God allowed this nation to see true love because my work has been planted, taken root, and prospered.

Your family is your launching pad. This is the beginning point, where you must launch the love crusade. When you go with true love, as I already described so vividly, the whole universe will embrace you. But when you go with self-centered love, everybody will hate you. That is why the slogan, "Yankee, go home!" has become common.

When you were first exposed to the Unification Church, did you have a totally open heart? Nobody came that way. Everybody came with a certain amount of skepticism. But why do you stay? It is because you are hooked on true love.

Hatred, animosity - that is the basic attitude with which people approach Unification Church. But now those negative men and women are sitting here at Belvedere, lifting your two hands and saying, "I'm betting my life on this." What made you change like this? Was it my eloquent speech and handsome face? Without the power of true love, it could not be done. That is the answer. That is the message I want to get across. Sometimes a Moonie's life is not easy. It involves suffering, it is difficult. Many times, you cry. But even though you cry, you cannot turn around. You still keep going, even through your tears. Something is pulling you, no matter how much despair you may feel.

The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, during which time they suffered - and paid incredible indemnity. But eventually they came to the Jordan River and it was time to cross over into Canaan. Now is that time to cross the river.

The Pacific Ocean is like the meeting point for the Eastern and Western cultures. Jacob crossed the ford of Jabbok and wrestled with an angel. By the same token, great wrestling is going on between East and West in the Pacific Rim. Actually, the Eastern culture is overpowering the Western culture. Why is that? Because Asian culture has a background of the mysterious power of true love.

Is our world on the verge of collapse or is it booming? The world is perishing. There are three billion people in Asia. China alone has 1 billion people. Without embracing the culture of three billion people, the Western world will not survive.

White people's history has been plunder, exploitation and bloodshed, trying to benefit themselves. If Europe had a culture similar to Asian culture, an embracing culture, Europe could be one country. It is a small mass of land, but there are dozens of different countries which have been fighting each other throughout history. God's point of view is, "I cannot leave the world in the hands of white people. If I give the world to you what will happen? History has been the proof. You are going to plunder, kill, and fight." This is why God decided to send Reverend Moon to embrace the West.

When you really look at the history of white men in America, how many innocent Indians were slaughtered? Indians are of Asian origin; they are Reverend Moon's cousins, in a way. The Indians were here a long time before white people ever set foot on this land, yet white people came here and slaughtered them. Without God's true love, this nation would have no hope. There is an embedded enmity there which no other power under the sun can cure.

I have spoken about the Opium War when Great Britain was trying to make China a colony. British people sold opium at high prices trying to demolish the Chinese people and at the same time, they reaped the wealth. They did not care about the well-being of the Chinese people; that was not their purpose. What they did to the yellow people at that time is typical of the Anglo-Saxon race. The cause and effect law of the universe cannot be bent. Therefore, who is suffering now from drug abuse more than anyone else in the world? It is the children of the rich, white people here in America, the descendants of the Anglo-Saxons.

Reverend Moon came to the United States against this kind of historical backdrop. But I did not come to kill or to take revenge on this country. God asked Reverend Moon as a champion of the East to come and embrace and teach Western people to become healthy and wholesome. Without true love, no matter how much you claim this is a Christian nation, it is to no avail. Without true love, there is no panacea, no prescription for a cure. Reverend Moon alone knows how to write the prescription. This is an absolute truth. Without the Unification Church, this nation is destined to perish. Do you know that?

Go to Fifth Avenue; go to Harlem. American young people are withering away because of drugs. How can you who have the solution for the drug problem sleep at night? How can you live an easy life? This is an emergency time. Heavenly punishment is coming to America because this country is worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. A mandate has come from Heaven and we've got to listen to the voice of God. Many people say, "God? Who is God? He's dead. Morality? What kind of morality? I'm going to enjoy my life."

What has happened today? The disease of AIDS has hit America. It has an incubation period of five to ten years. People are thinking, "I have done all kinds of things in the past ten years. I don't know what is going to happen to me." There is only one way of life that prevents this kind of disease. It is God's way through the Unification Church way of life. God provided a solution even for AIDS through Reverend Moon. In the future, I want Unification Church members to have an AIDS test. I do not want this church to be contaminated by AIDS. The only solution, even for AIDS, will come when true love is flaming hot all over America. True love has the power to burn away even diseases like AIDS.

Where is the beginning point for each person? The husband and wife are the launching pad. Home Church begins at your home. The husband is the base of the Home Church, centering upon love. The wife is the Home Church base centering upon love. If you love home church more than you love your husband or wife, then your standard is all right. If you love home church more than your own children, you'll be all right. Home church is actually the mechanism for breaking down the barriers. It is how we reach out to the original world. The value of the original world is greater than anything else under the sun. For that reason, we have to raise our standard up high. When you love the original world more than your wife or husband you will begin to deserve that original world.

When you have true love, everything follows you, even God. You set the direction. Where there is true love, there is new life, like springtime. All beings are drawn toward the person who brings true love and new life. For example, more and more Western people want to go to Asia. No one has asked them to go or to pay the money to cross the Pacific Ocean, but now the Western world is feeling some sort of romance, some sort of mystical element pulling them toward the East.

(Blackboard.) This represents all the things of creation in the universe. In the center is the human being. In the center of the human being is the family and the center of the family is True Parents. The Old Testament era is represented by the creation; the New Testament era is the era of human beings. The family centered upon true love and the True Parents is the Completed Testament Age. Your family is the microcosm, where the universe is unfolded. The center core is the blessed couple, husband and wife. The children and family form a circle. The tribe, your home church, becomes your world. This represents the whole universe.

You must be capable of offering all things. That position belongs to you; your life is a sacrifice. You are able to dedicate your relationship with your spouse and children for the sake of the higher cause of true love. I have been walking the same path and setting the example. First of all, I don't keep any material possessions that come to me. I give them away for the benefit of others. My own family has suffered more than anyone else. My elder children suffered the most because I almost totally neglected them for the sake of the world cause. I also sacrificed my relationship with Mother. Her suffering behind the scenes is incredible. Why is that? It is only because of true love.

My goal is not just the True Parents' family; my goal is to foster true love that will be prosperous in the world. In order to reach that worldwide target, I am willing to sacrifice anything I have on earth. Of course, I sacrificed myself a long time ago. I have been working according to this rule and my efforts have not been in vain. I have laid the worldwide human foundation so that now even the United States will inevitably listen to my message. Many United States leaders know that there is no hope for this nation without my words. Human dominion over all of creation is also established. The worldwide restoration is at hand.

Humanity and all the things of creation are coming under the influence of God and all are about to cross over the boundary into the original world. The entire world has come to that point; one more jump and we can plunge into the original world.

What is our claim? Our claim is that we are building the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This is not a joke or an empty slogan. In that Kingdom there will be no United States, no Korea. There will be one nation, one entire world under God. The Kingdom of God has one people, one race. We've come to the final stage and we are lining up to make the final breakthrough, the final assault, so to speak. What will be our weapon? Money? No, it is only true love.

The time has come and we are forming the love power station, the love powerhouse. Through this powerhouse of love we can electrify the world. The human mind is sensitive. People sense that a new world is coming and that a new order is dawning. They feel that something good is in the air. America hates Reverend Moon and this movement the most because we have hope. The Soviet Union opposed this movement simply because we have hope. As I have spoken previously, even though the first generation, the so-called Establishment, belonged to the evil world, the second generation is listening. They are ready to be inspired by Reverend Moon.

Yesterday was Hyun Jin Nim's Holy Wedding. This is the first time in Unification Church Holy Wedding ceremonies that we allowed outside people to attend as guests. Many voices were clamoring, "Reverend Moon, can we attend? Can you give us tickets? Can we go in?" I said, "Okay, I'll hand-pick a few." I picked only special leaders from the media, the political arena, the religious world, black leadership, and youth leadership. If I didn't limit their numbers, the Unification Church members would have no room. The auditorium would be filled by outside people.

We will conduct a workshop for the top people in the world. The time has come already. You don't know it, but all these things are happening. If you are lazy and trying to relax at this emergency time, I'm afraid you will lose your seat on the train. A lot of people in the outside world want to get on. I have a special plan for Moonies. The Moonies go into the enemy territory first, infiltrating and occupying all the key positions.

When the time comes, I will push the locomotive full of outside people forward, then enter into the territory. You will not have to worry about your position because you will already be there, already winning the battle. Then you can get all the people off the train and tell them, "All right. We are crossing the Jordan River into Canaan. We cannot repeat the same mistakes that the Israelites committed in the time of Moses." You will have to train them; discipline them. You will create a new youth movement. But those young people who get drunk or use drugs will not even come near to the new order in this land of Canaan.

Many people are going to be running for the Presidency in 1988, but none of those people, Republican or Democrat, can do it without paying attention to God's will. I will tell them, "You need my advice? All right, come to East Garden and see me." But the candidates are so scared to come to East Garden, they'll have to come at night, like Nicodemus. If they cannot come during the day, they can come at night. I will say, "This is the way you can save America," and they will listen. When they become the President of the United States, if they fulfill that particular policy, who shall benefit? The United States and the world.

What do you think-if all of the 240 million Americans went through a nonstop 40-day training, would America revive or not? America is dying. But in 40 days we can teach the people. Not 40 years. For 40 days, all the people can attend a nationwide workshop. They don't even have to come to a classroom. They can just turn on the television set.

At least the United States is a part of the Christian cultural sphere. The base and foundation of this nation is Christianity. The Unification Church is bringing the Completed Testament, as well as the contents of the Old and New Testaments. The other day, it was reported to me that 203 American ministers went to Korea. They went to the Holy Rock in Pusan where my lonely, miserable, one-man prayer was offered. In those days, no one knew me. The ministers went there and prayed and kissed the rock. Their tears were dripping down, they spoke in tongues and received holy fire and healing and had visions. One minister had his physical vision completely healed. Before that, he could not even see one foot without his glasses, but he said afterward, "I can see. I can see now." He came walking down the steps without glasses. Isn't that the power that can save America? When the communists come in, what would they do with ministers? They would chop their necks. But Reverend Moon gives the ministers resurrection, new spirit, holy fire, holy truth, true love. I come to revive and save them.

The goal is for more than 600 American ministers to visit Korea every month. The goal for this year is 6,000. There are about 7,000 state legislators in the U.S. and we are teaching at least 3,500 of them this year about Unification ideology. There are about 1300 retired generals from the army, navy, and air force. I would like to educate these people and organize all the veterans' organizations throughout America. This is not just my thinking; I have been doing it. Politicians are very sensitive about this. Now they see what I am doing and they want to cling to my back now. The time will come when even in a political city like Washington, D.C., they will proclaim in broad daylight, "Reverend Moon is the Messiah." No one will laugh. It used to be that they would laugh, "Ho, ho, crazy." But no longer. They will take that word seriously. Why? Because they see what Reverend Moon has been doing. They have seen the accomplishment and the foundation that Reverend Moon has laid. In all the wide world, they could not find any duplication of that. There is no one like Reverend Moon. No one else has a foundation like his.

Korea was liberated after World War II. Fourteen years after the liberation-in 1960-the installation of the True Parents took place. In the 14 years time since I came to the United States I have laid the foundation for the True Parents to be elevated to the national level and move on to the worldwide foundation. Worldwide communism is now declining rapidly. In the Soviet Union, they will not laugh too long at Reverend Moon. This is why I am not making a crazy statement when I announce the liberation of Moscow. It is not a crazy idea at all. I already have a blueprint and a plan of how to achieve it.

After the banquet was over last night, before 12 midnight, I held a special service with the True Family and made a special declaration. Now I have a special announcement for you on this day, April 1st. I said that the True Parents' ultimate Messianic role is to set down the constitution of the Heavenly Kingdom, the law of the King's palace. Palace law shall be established. As opposition to the Unification Church dwindles, time is drawing near for registration to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In order to belong to one of the twelve tribes of heaven, you've got to go through the gate of home church. In a nation with a population of twelve million, each tribe will be one million each. People will draw straws to decide which tribe to belong to. Without belonging to this organization on earth, you have no gate to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You never know when this will happen. You just have no idea. You have to go the front line of home church. Go down to the local level. This is the safest ground for you. It is the sure way that you will not miss the opportunity. It is the only way we can make one nation, one unified world.

If there is only one love, how can there be more than one language'? It is impossible. In a culture centered upon one love, there should be only one language. Now the time has come to cross over the boundary.

I did not come to push this nation into the ditch. Rather, I came to save it, to apply the brakes. With the original world as the target and goal, would you like to walk slowly into it or leap into it?

You have received a good sermon for a good day, April 1st. All the members of the Unification Church should say, "Now we are going to be frontline soldiers, no doubt about it. We are going to infiltrate deeply into the enemy's territory and we will turn things upside down and right side up. That is our commitment, our determination." Train your children. Let them go out and fundraise for the cause. Sell your own possessions so we can take that money to the jungles of Africa. We will spend that money so that continent shall be filled with light. What will happen? By doing so, no American shall perish. America will revive and be resurrected on a worldwide scale. When you fulfill this mission, Africa will follow after you. When you liberate the Soviet Union, the people there will follow after you. Then where will you go? You shall return everything to God, not to Reverend Moon. We shall return it to God.

My role is that of the good shepherd and you are the flock. I will take the flock and walk proudly into the palace of heaven to have an audience with God. No one will reject this flock, white, black, or yellow. White people cannot say, "Oh, black people are there, so I don't want to go." Black people cannot say, "Oh, white people are included, so since I don't like white people, I don't want to go." No one will do that. You know which road and which method will succeed. It is Reverend Moon's way.

Today is April the first, the beginning of true springtime. All the plants and flowers are coming into bud, ready to explode. We are too. We are seeing the springtime of the Heavenly Kingdom. We should be ready to explode like those spring buds this month. Those who pledge that kind of explosion for the sake of building God's Kingdom and for the sake of true love, raise your hands, please. Which way shall we go now-the natural way or the jumping way? Those who want to jump forward, raise your hands. God bless you.

The Stage Is Ready

The most important declaration I have made recently is the proclamation of the head-wing ideology, as opposed to the right or left wing. "Head wing" comes from the head, which is the central controlling mechanism. The head controls the whole body through the spine and nervous system.

The right wing and left wing started from the crucifixion of Jesus, when there was a thief on his right and a thief on his left with their opposing ideologies. Even if the right wing, like a person's right arm, were to dominate and control the entire world, unless the left arm -- the communists -- joined with it and tried to harmonize with the right wing, there would be no balance, no peace, and no stability. Likewise, if the left arm were to control the whole situation, there would be no balance without the right arm.

In history, there was an imperialistic stage when one king or emperor had absolute power. From that stage, history came to the period of the individualistic amassing of wealth and power -- democracy. Now the world is experiencing the system of socialistic control of wealth and human lives. Political systems have thus developed from absolute monarchy down to a socialistic system where the people have more power, benefits, and social welfare.

Both Worlds Are Deadlocked

The mission and accomplishment of the democratic system was to bring power down from the aristocracy to the grass roots. In the communist system, power is supposed to start from the bottom, with the poor and the laborers, and go all the way to the top. However, unless both systems link themselves to a higher power, their existence is very much challenged.

The democratic and communist worlds have been so severely separated from each other that there is seemingly no room for harmony. But what is happening today? Communist China is adjusting its own beliefs and trying to embrace the Western system. The Soviet Union, the core of the communist world, is threatened unless they adjust themselves and adopt a new direction that is more lenient and liberal and follows the West.

In the Roman Empire, Christianity became the imperial religion. In that way, religion had the power to govern the world. However, absolute power always corrupts. Those in authority removed themselves completely from the people at the grass-roots level. Therefore, a new movement of the people arose in opposition, an anti-God movement called humanism, which is running rampant today. Democracy comes from this movement, its purpose being to try to protect human dignity and value.

The democratic system, therefore, is based not on God but on man. The human intellect has become the central point of that system. Since man is the center, the democratic system tends to condone instant gratification of secular desires. However, democracy has come to a dead end. In the democratic world, there is no vision. When a nation has no vision, it will perish.

Communism started out with a lofty desire and vision, but the practice of communism is entirely corrupt. A new elite in the Soviet Union, called the nomenclature, has taken over, and more corruption exists than ever before.

You can see that both the democratic and the communist worlds are hitting a stone wall, deadlocked. The leaders of both worlds no longer have the confidence that their own ideology will run the world successfully. The communist world is losing that hope and the democratic world has already lost it.

Longing For a Unifying Vision

Now the most extraordinary phenomenon has occurred. The children in the communist world are seeing the corruption inside their own power system and are beginning to look somewhere else -- to the Western world. And the children in the democratic world are saying, "I know what my father is doing is wrong, that my father's generation is corrupt. There must be some hope in the communist world. They must be doing something right"

In the 60s and 70s, the youth of America and the Western world blindly followed -- worshipped -- socialism and the communist system, thinking that their dream had become a reality. But in about the last 10 years, largely because of our own educational movement, they are coming to understand the true picture of communism. They are becoming jolted into realizing, "This is not what we've been searching for"

The youth of both worlds have finally come to realize that the other system is not the answer. They are awaiting some new vision and ideology that is better than communism or democracy. The young people are longing for some mysterious being, some mysterious solution that is centered upon God. This desire has been coming out from both camps like an avalanche, like a tidal wave.

If the left wing can't solve the world's problems, and the right wing can't solve the world's problems, a new wing has to emerge. People's aspirations now are moving toward a system that can digest all of these -- imperialism, materialism, and humanitarianism -- centering upon one strong central element. The time has come for the ripening emergence of a new ism that will digest all of the historical isms on a global scale, beyond the boundaries of nation or race.

This is the point at which the Unification Church is emerging, with the proclamation of the head-wing ideology. I am proclaiming this to the world as a solution to the world's deadlock.

A New Sunrise Has Come

Forty-three years ago, and even long before that, I had this head-wing concept in mind, knowing, however, that I would ha e to make it prosper and work under great persecution. I have been moving forward under incredible suffering and persecution all these years without stumbling, without being diverted, without being discouraged -- and now what has happened? I have come in the nick of time to the dawning of a new day. A new sunrise has just come.

The only opposition has been coming from what we call the establishment -- the established communists, the established humanists, the established religionists. However, I have not been neglecting the establishment, even while knowing that the younger generation is coming to my side. This is why I have been working with the academic community, the media, ministers and religious leaders, social organizations, and veterans.

Now that our foundation is so firm and sound, I don't have to work anymore. I could take a big nap! Through the momentum we have established by my direction and initiative, the world will automatically advance onward like a locomotive, moving on and on and on. Ultimately, the world will come into the correct order. That is the reality now. The final vision has been set.

Even though I have been working for a long time, I just recently proclaimed the head-wing ideology because the time has only now ripened to receive it. So what is this head wing, actually? Head wing comes under Godism, the absolute God-centered ideology, which I proclaimed at the Washington Monument rally. The head-wing concept even penetrates all the way to the spirit world. When you address secular humanists about head wing, they are simply flabbergasted: "That is the most refreshing idea. We can accept that." When you approach religious people, talk about God- ism. Then they will say, 'Aha! That's it. That is our unifying goal." So you can see, you have an ideological weapon to deal with all fields.

Head wing is a concept or ideology that involves man and the creation, while Godism involves the spirit. With head wing and Godism together, the spirit and body become totally united and perfected. Unificationism brings these noble ideologies together into one unified working system.

The Power of the Spirit World

How can we bring this unification about? With God! We must begin from the origin, the center, because God is the source of love, power, and energy. Through God, the unity of all these things will become a reality. In our Unification Church way of life, God has become a living reality. You are always living a God-centered way of life whatever you do, 24 hours a day. If you try to stray from that God- centered way, chastisement from the spirit world, in the form of revelations and dreams and indemnity, will always come to push you back to the center. It is amazing. God is real in our life every day. The Unification Church way of life is the vertical way of life. Therefore, when you are moving, you are not actually moving by yourself. You are pulling your entire ancestral line along with you on a string. All the spirit world is connected to you. If you stray somewhere, the string says, "Come back;' and pulls you back to the center. It is our privilege in the Unification Church that the spirit world has the power to influence our actions here on earth.

In nature there are electromagnetic waves. To receive a broadcast, you have to tune your radio to that particular wavelength or vibration; otherwise, you can't receive it. The Unification Church is now completely attuned to the spirit world. Furthermore, you are not just tuned in to their vibrations; you are becoming broadcasters yourselves. You are actually the ones sending out the signals. You can create short wave, medium wave, long wave, and AM and FM signals; you can send out as much as needed in all directions.

You have that foundation here on earth, based on True Parents' victory. Therefore, if you want to summon an individual in the spirit world, just name the person: "Mr. So-and-So, come down and help me. St. Paul, come down, I need your help." And he will come down. You can call upon such assistance -- a whole family, a unit, a tribe, or whatever requirements you need -- and it will be instantly provided.

That's why sometimes, when you think you are moving to the left, you find that you are moving to the right. You can't see them, but two spirit men on each side of you are lifting you up. You don't even have to walk! Spirit men will take you along. Do you believe this? This is not a class on superstition; this is logical and scientific.

The common goal of the spirit world, of all religions, and of all people in history is the perfection of men and women. Throughout history, God has had only one thing on His mind: He wants to restore human beings to the original models of perfection. Therefore, all existing schools of thought, such as materialism and humanism, are actually components of human perfection. These philosophies are pulling together men and women to be not only spiritually perfect, but physically perfect. The physical aspects of man are also God's creation. God does not deny the material.

Program God's Data

We are living in the computer age. All you have to do is push a button, and the machine whirs and everything is printed out instantly. To have a computer printout available, however, somebody has to input the data. A human being is like a computer. If you push the body's button, the data will come out. But the data has to already be inside. You must become men and women who are constantly receiving data from God -- His spirit, His truth, and His love. Then when your button is pushed, out will come the truth, the love, and the spirit of God.

Whatever you put into your mind in your daily life -- what kind of thoughts you think, what kind of motivation you have, what kind of truth you speak, what kind of love you practice -- all that will appear on your screen.

I always teach from the Principle that the individual level must expand to the family, tribal, national, world, and cosmic levels. I am giving you all the data on all levels so you can program it into yourselves. When God pushes someone's button, He can see from the picture on the screen, "Oh, that person is at the national level. Pretty good" Or, "Oh, he never even got beyond the family level" And so on.

I am always telling you members of the Unification Church that you must live for the sake of the world; you must be citizens in service to the world. But if God pushed the worldwide button, not many Unification Church members would light up on the screen -- in fact, it would be a total blackout. That is a failure. You have not programmed yourselves; you have put no data in. As you can see, when you go up the scale, the number of qualified people at each level becomes smaller and smaller, like a pyramid.

Do you think your body is capable of receiving the universal data; is there enough room? Every computer has a data base consisting of so many millions of megabits. How many megabits do you have? The human body has an infinite capacity to receive all kinds of data that God and myself ask you to input. Do you have the capability of receiving it all? Modern technology can create a computer chip that contains an incredible number of megabits. How many more megabits can be contained in a human computer created by God? Shouldn't we be able to receive millions and billions of megabits of information, spiritual as well?

God is always testing us. Every morning He pushes the cosmic button to see how many Moonies show up on His screen. The computer starts humming and vibrating, trying to come out with something, but nobody shows up.

The computer is vibrating violently, so at least God can see that His children are thinking about the universal level, even though no one is quite able to appear on the screen. What if God pushed Rev. Moon's buttons? What do you think would happen? Like piano keys, every one of them would ring out loudly, all the way to the very highest. Wouldn't you like to be like that, too?

Where Is Your God-Like Image?

God made human beings to be the perfect computers. God created in us the most comfortable dwelling place for Himself so that all His data can be housed. That is why we are called the temples of God. But when He pushes your button, the screen shows all kinds of odd configurations -- no regular or beautiful images, only ugly shapes and sharp corners. In many cases, your computer is just humming, still trying to figure out the data, but nothing appears. Even God's computer can't understand you. But I have taught you the correct input, so you have no excuse. Your God-like image is supposed to be showing up crystal clear. Each one of you is God's broadcasting station. God would like to broadcast His heart and love and truth directly through you.

Compared to the sophistication of humans, a computer is a primitive device. These instruments are being invented because they take after the human image. Someday we will invent a television set that will pick up the spiritual world. When that type of television camera focuses on you, it will show your individual spiritual body. Also, other spirit men will appear on the screen as a group of people always walking together with you. Who are they?

If you are just thinking about your own clan, then you will receive only ancestral assistance, nothing more. But when you become a person of universal good will and are thinking about the whole world, striving towards the highest possible ideals and even worrying about God Himself, the highest spirit world will come down to assist you.

All members, whether they come from the U.S., from Germany, or from France, have at least one thing in common: They all love me. They love me simply because my concentration upon the ideal and my way of life are transcendent of all denominations, races, and national boundaries. Therefore, the entire spirit world is united in wanting to come and help me. The saints and patriots of American history are all coming down now, trying to push every right-minded person on the face of the earth in my direction.

For the last 43 years, people in the spirit world have been helping me, but I have been bringing them to the lowest possible level, to the bottom of human existence. There, the hope of salvation must be planted. Only then can they work their way upward. I myself started from the very lowest level of the physical world and came into ultimate union with the highest level of the spirit world.

Issue Your Marching Orders

I want each one of you, particularly you national leaders, to understand that you must have total confidence. You have the largest army ever mobilized in history. Behind you are millions of spirits waiting to carry out your marching orders as soon as you give them. Therefore, all you missionaries of the world must be engaged in some kind of project on a national scale. Then you must issue marching orders to the spirit army. If you can demonstrate that you are working sacrificially and exceeding them in devotion, incredible help will materialize.

If you don't do that, then you will pay a penalty; the closest members of your family and the Unification movement itself will have to pay the price. Some of the elder members of the Unification Church will die of cancer; I have been predicting this. Unless you do your external mission well, then you will have to pay the indemnity internally. Now that the nation and the world are in the midst of an emergency, it is totally unacceptable for any individual to do things for his own selfish benefit, trying to gain something for himself or for his family. It is contradictory to God's will, for which God will undoubtedly unleash His punishment.

Today on earth, an effort towards creating unity is being made even among communists, materialists, humanists, and all other segments of human society. At the same time, the spirit world is unleashing its power toward unification, coming down on the individual, tribal, and worldwide levels. The question I have for each of you is, how much have you done to connect yourself to different nationalities and races? You must create your own foundation upon which people of all races -- black, white, brown, red, and yellow -- as well as saints of all the different religions can come down and assist you. If you love only your own race or religion, you are totally isolating yourself from the rest of the community.

The time will come when spiritual intervention will be so intense, so serious, that anyone trying to speak ill against me or the Unification Church won't be physically able to. A person will open his mouth and say, "Mmmmmm," trying to say the word "Moon," but before he can finish pronouncing the word something will happen to him. His throat muscles will tighten and he will collapse. That time will come. You would like to see that happen right away, wouldn't you?

True Kings and Queens

I have taken the initiative as the central figure of the universe. I have made a God-centered foundation in the academic field, the social services field, the religious field, the media field -- a foundation that no government can tear down. At the same time I have a special emissary in the spirit world -- Heung Jin -- who has broken the boundaries that have been confining the kings and queens in the spirit world. These kings and queens have always wanted to find the true kings and queens. Who are they? Unification Church members! In their eyes, you blessed couples are the royalty.

Right now there is a lot of confusion in the spirit world. No real organization can take place before the True Parents go there. When True Parents become the central figures, from that point on, all organization can begin. You will be important figures in that organization, because you are part of the True Parents. In the Kingdom of Heaven there will be a contest for the selection of the kings and queens.

How can you be selected? By acting like a beggar, a wanderer, a stranger? No. Your job is to imitate me. You've got to receive and live my ideal.

Since 1965 I have been traveling all over the world. I have been preparing over 40 different nations to receive spiritual assistance. I carried Korean soil to those 40 countries in order to create holy grounds. Centering on Korea, I want to link the entire world as one community -- one physical community, one spiritual community. It took me 22 years to do this because I was the only pioneer. During those 22 years I broke down all the barriers; now there is no door that is not open to us. All you have to do is go in; the stage is ready. Become the central figure of that stage and act upon it.

The spiritual elements have to be linked to the physical elements. This is now ready to occur. All members are being assigned to the home church mission. When you connect to your 360 homes, the prepared spiritual forces can receive their marching orders and come down and become integrated with the physical forces in your area.

In America, when you visit your 360 homes, 120 countries are represented there. When you are working in your home church area, you are dealing with a small world. You will meet people of all characters -- maybe stern German people, arrogant British people, clever French people, romantic Italian people, talkative Spanish people. By doing home church, you are linking yourselves to the universal community -- where there are no boundaries between races or nations. Then when you enter into the spirit world, you will be free to travel, free to communicate, free to have give and take with all races.

God's Banquet of Joy

In the spirit world, you need not worry about food, shelter, clothing, or any such thing. The only important thing to do in the spirit world is to participate in God's banquet and experience the joy of celebration centering upon God. Every source of happiness -- every joy, fulfillment, and reward -- is there. Your happiness will be determined by how close and how intimate your relationship with God is. Your joy will be in spending time with the True Parents. Anyone who participates in True Parents' banquet is the closest to Heaven.

The amazing thing is this: You don't have to be issued an invitation to come to the banquet. Your spiritual vibration automatically determines whether you are qualified to enter the hall. Those who are not qualified automatically retreat, because it is such a pain to be there. Suppose a worthy person is far away in the countryside holding onto a fence, and he does not want to come. What will happen? When the banquet begins, that person's whole house will be moved; he and the house and the fence will all automatically come to the banquet!

The spiritual light is ahead of you. You are now with Satan, so I am pushing you ruthlessly, because I would like you to deserve such things, such a place. When you leave your physical body, eternity opens up. All of a sudden you hit a stone wall and you see where you were wrong. How grateful you should be that you know me while you are still on earth! I want to give you the best blessing so that you can be totally free to move in the spirit world without any boundaries or barriers.

Once you have come to the level of the spirit world I am describing, wherever you go you will never be a stranger, because I have already set the right conditions. You will even be able to become intimately close to a person on the other side of the world. This is inevitable, because the spirit world is already one country, one system, one nation, one unified world. The physical world will absolutely become one world under God, eventually. There is no way out. We, therefore, are the pioneers, the harbingers, to proclaim one world under God.

What percentage of my vision do you think will be fulfilled? Zero percent or 100 percent? How do you know? I may be the world's worst swindler. You know because of your actual, physical experiences. You know because you've tried this way of life out, and what I am saying absolutely works in your daily life. When you apply my principle, what I predict occurs.

When Heung Jin ascended into heaven, I precisely described why the ascension occurred, where the position of Heung Jin is in spirit world, what he is going to do there, and God's dispensation concerning him. Virtually no one believed me. They thought I was trying to make his death look good and the air smell sweet. Today, several years later, you are receiving direct communication from him -- in Europe, in Asia, in America. Now you know that what I said was absolutely true.

Follow My Course

I want you to know that without the spirit world's help, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth cannot be a reality. And the Kingdom of Heaven on earth cannot even begin without True Parents. True Parents are the beginning point of everything. I alone can ignite the spirit world to come down and assist you. With the help of the spirit world, the Kingdom of God will become a reality.

In the original creation, God created men and woman with the assistance of the angels. The fall of the archangelic world was a disaster, so in restoration I have to restore that failure by mobilizing the spirit world, which is the angelic realm.

Right now many spirit men are listening to my words -- they are so joyful, so hopeful, so full of vision. But when I look at you, I see how skeptical you are inside. You are still not believing, you are not even taking this seriously. What miserable people! Spirit world is lamenting because of you.

What if I told the spirit world, "Look at all these Unification Church leaders. They're no good anymore! Get rid of them and bring 600 new ones" They would obey me right away. But why don't I do that? Because I have worked with you, paid indemnity with you, prayed with you, cried with you, worried with you. I want to save our foundation. If I sent you away, I would have to begin again from the very bottom. Besides, if others came to replace you, there is no guarantee they would be any better! So I have to deal with you. But you are lucky in a way. I am going to hold you tight and do everything to inspire you and remake you so that you will become new creatures.

Is the spirit world far away? Is the spirit world on the outside of your body or the inside?

It is inside your body, so the mind can't stop, can't take rest. You have to work hard, more and more and more, all day long, day and night. You know that. The mind is always commanding you. God wants to pierce through your mind. God wants you to listen to my words, follow my words. That's the absolute standard. Your mind will always say to you, "Please work hard." It doesn't come from outside, but inside your mind. You have the absolute order. You have the absolute master and teacher who represents God always. You know that clearly. No excuse. When you pass into the spirit world, you will see that your spiritual body is the reflection of your mind, exactly. The spiritual body is the mind. So God knows how your mind is, automatically. God should be at the center of your spiritual mind. How much influence God has on you will reflect in your spirit body, automatically. The spiritual body is a reflection of the mind. They're parallel. So you can't open your mouth to complain there.

Remember this point: Only follow my course. Human life is so serious. I know about this kind of phenomena in spirit world. That is why I am working against the enemy, no matter how hard it gets, standing on the front line, taking this kind of path. You must go through my life history. You have to follow that course. No matter what excuses you have, you have to follow the course -- your spiritual mind course, your spiritual body course. They are one, not two.

What Do You Have To Fear?

You carry the spirit world upon your head, upon your bosom, upon your back, everywhere. You are with the spirit world, in the spirit world. You cannot escape that reality. Since I always have the spirit world with me, no matter where I go I am always dignified, always confident, even if the American government tries to oppose me. I'm not worried, because the spirit world is bigger than the U.S.A.

I am making the most extraordinary and incredible statements. When the CIA, the FBI, and the American government hear these, they are completely shocked. I am challenging them. You should be like that too. Go ahead -- the spirit world is on your side. What do you have to fear? You should have no shame at any time.

You can even be sitting on the toilet and saying, "God, I am making a resolution." Will God say, "You ought to be ashamed to call my name in the bathroom!" God would not say that. The bathroom might be Satan's territory, but I can proclaim it to be the Kingdom of Heaven. I can call the name of God inside the bathroom or anywhere, because God is never apart from me.

Like me, you are to have dominion over all things. You have to be gutsy men and women. You have to have the guts to proclaim even to Satan, "Come over here. You've got to surrender and follow me:' Call the spirit world and say, "Come down right now. I am now moving in this direction. I'm giving you orders to create this path for me, so march!"

After this conference, go forward to your missions with a central figure's confidence. You are the subjects of every situation. You can command the spirit world, you can command the national situation, you can command the whole environment. With that kind of courageous feeling, representing True Parents, go forward and carry out my mission. You've got to have absolute confidence that what I have pronounced shall be done.

When I came to America and made my first step on this land, I made a pledge to be the central figure of this nation and gain the support of the entire patriotic spirit world. I had absolute confidence that this would be done.

I know you have your own textbooks of patriotism, but I am not going to follow your textbook. I am going to create a new textbook of patriotism. I cannot return to my own country without establishing such a formula, such a result. Now that work has been done.

We are working under the same God, the same spirit world; there is no reason you cannot gain as much result as I do. The reason why you aren't is simply because there is still some selfishness remaining within you. You have not been able to get out of your self-centeredness. That is why God and the spirit world cannot work fully with you.

Only Good Things Will Happen

A new age is dawning. Tomorrow will be the Holy Wedding of Hyun Jin. Even though he is young, 18, the reason I am doing this is because I am marking a new age before the end of March. I am completing the number eight. The family of Noah will be restored in the True Parents' family when six of my children have been blessed. With True Parents on both sides, that makes eight. By this Holy Wedding, the entire world will be in the position to welcome the True Parents' family. From now on, the Unification Church will blossom and bloom. The spirit world is determined to make this happen.

So far, the spirit world has been reserved because it has been waiting for a certain foundation to be laid. Even though the spirit world has always been trying to expand the Unification Church movement, it has only brought more burden to me. But now, the spirit world is happy to see the foundation is being firmly laid.

When you go back to your missions this time, only good things will happen. This new head-wing concept, the concept of Godism, will be the most exciting, dramatic, and extraordinary thing anyone has ever heard. You now have this weapon to take with you. I am going to send you back out right away, because good things are waiting for you out there in your mission areas. Within one month's time, you are going to feel an incredibly different atmosphere. I would like to let you go now and commit yourselves, so that with new results you can come back to me for our next meeting.

Within several months' time, all kinds of incredible situations will develop in all 50 states of America. Now you cannot be defeated by opposition. You cannot be pushed away. You are the fighters. You are going to fight our battle with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul.

Breathe in the spring air and look at the new heaven and earth. My springtime is now here; God's springtime is now here, also. You must feel it to your bones.

Home church was first announced in America rather than in Korea. Why is that? In New York and in this country as a whole, you can find all different races living in your 360 homes. There is no other country like this. If all the 360 homes oppose you, it means that not just an individual or a family or even a nation is opposing you, but many nations and races. After winning in New York, we will concentrate our efforts in Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, etc., and it will become easier and easier.

You are trying to work out some pragmatic way to get quick results, but since home church comes out of the Principle, each person has to walk the Principle way. Without this road, can you enter Heaven?

Home church is like a launching pad. The fuel of your rocket is true love, and with this, your rocket can fly. When you reach the moon, God will come down and recharge you with His love. Next you will land on the sun. God knew my mission, and He had a reason to give me my name.

You don't like indemnity. I don't like indemnity either, but we cannot bypass it. No matter what leadership position you may have, without going through home church you cannot reach that moon. In Korea I pushed out all the older couples to do home church. Even if they were leaders of businesses, they still had to do home church. Not a single one of them opposed my plan. Does only a backward country like Korea need home church, and not a civilized country like America?

God and Us

By now we know that God exists and that we certainly need Him. Out of this fundamental awareness all kinds of theories and principles can be derived. The Principle of Creation explains how the world was intended to be; the Principle of Restoration explains why the world is the way it is and how God has been working to restore man since the fall. The Principle of the Unification Church embraces all the phenomena of the universe and all historical events and explains the ideal of unification through the way of restoration. The ultimate method for accomplishing this is home church.

Where will we meet God? In the perfection of home church. Home church is the meeting ground for ourselves and God. In order to perfect the universe, we need to create an altar, and home church is that altar. I can guarantee that when you create this altar of home church, you will meet God there.

Starting in 1981, home church will be your whole world. Home church is what God's dispensation has been aiming at; home church has been the purpose of human history and the goal of all religions. You want to live with me in the spirit world, but you can only qualify through home church. To accomplish home church is to complete all indemnity.

Heaven is the world that requires no indemnity. Who are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven? They are the ones who have worked constantly for this purpose. Who will build Heaven on earth? We will do it. Because it was a man and a woman who fell, they must unite together and build Heaven on earth once more. Peter was given the keys to the Kingdom by Jesus; those keys were the keys to home church.

Your country and your spirit world are condensed in your home church area. You may think home church is only a witnessing idea, but this is the formula and the law, not something that changes. Only when you get to the spirit world can you understand its complete significance and preciousness. Throughout history there was no such thing as this formula of home church. The Stage Is Ready

The most important declaration I have made recently is the proclamation of the head-wing ideology, as opposed to the right or left wing. "Head wing" comes from the head, which is the central controlling mechanism. The head controls the whole body through the spine and nervous system.

The right wing and left wing started from the crucifixion of Jesus, when there was a thief on his right and a thief on his left with their opposing ideologies. Even if the right wing, like a person's right arm, were to dominate and control the entire world, unless the left arm -- the communists -- joined with it and tried to harmonize with the right wing, there would be no balance, no peace, and no stability. Likewise, if the left arm were to control the whole situation, there would be no balance without the right arm.

In history, there was an imperialistic stage when one king or emperor had absolute power. From that stage, history came to the period of the individualistic amassing of wealth and power-democracy. Now the world is experiencing the system of socialistic control of wealth and human lives. Political systems have thus developed from absolute monarchy down to a socialistic system where the people have more power, benefits, and social welfare.

The mission and accomplishment of the democratic system was to bring power down from the aristocracy to the grass roots. In the communist system, power starts from the bottom, with the poor and the laborers, and goes all the way to the top. However, unless both systems link themselves to a higher power, their existence is very much challenged.

The democratic and communist worlds have been so severely separated from each other that there is seemingly no room for harmony. But what is happening today? Communist China is adjusting its own beliefs and trying to embrace the Western system. The Soviet Union, the core of the communist world, is threatened unless they adjust themselves and adopt a new direction that is more lenient and liberal and follows the West.

In the Roman Empire, Christianity became the imperial religion. In that way, religion had the power to govern the world. However, absolute power always corrupts. Those in authority removed themselves completely from the people at the grass-roots level. Therefore, a new movement of the people arose in opposition, an anti-God movement called humanism, which is running rampant today. Democracy comes from this movement, its purpose being to try to protect human dignity and value. The democratic system, therefore, is based not on God but on man.

The human intellect has become the central point of that system. Since man is the center, the democratic system tends to condone instant gratification of secular desires. However, democracy has come to a dead end. In the democratic world, there is no vision. When a nation has no vision, it will perish.

Communism started out with a lofty desire and vision, but the practice of communism is entirely corrupt. A new elite in the Soviet Union, called the nomenclatura, has taken over, and more corruption exists than ever before.

You can see that both the democratic and the communist worlds are hitting a stone wall, deadlocked. The leaders of both worlds no longer have the confidence that their own ideology will run the world successfully. The communist world is losing that hope and the democratic world has already lost it.

Now the most extraordinary phenomenon has occurred. The children in the communist world are seeing the corruption inside their own power system and are beginning to look somewhere else -- to the Western world. And the children in the democratic world are saying, "I know what my father is doing is wrong, that my father's generation is corrupt. There must be some hope in the communist world. They must be doing something right."

In the 60s and 70s, the youth of America and the Western world blindly followed and worshipped socialism and the communist system, thinking that their dream had become a reality. But in about the last 10 years, largely because of our own educational movement, they are coming to understand the true picture of communism. They are becoming jolted into realizing, "This is not what we've been searching for."

The youth of both worlds have finally come to realize that the other system is not the answer. They are awaiting some new vision and ideology that is better than communism or democracy. The young people are longing for some mysterious being, some mysterious solution that is centered upon God. This desire has been coming out from both camps like an avalanche, like a tidal wave.

If the left wing can't solve the world's problems, and the right wing can't solve the world's problems, a new wing has to emerge. People's aspirations now are moving toward a system that can digest all of these -- imperialism, materialism, and humanitarianism -- centering upon one strong central element. The time has come for the ripening emergence of a new ism that will digest all of the historical isms on a global scale, beyond the boundaries of nation or race. This is the point at which the Unification Church is emerging, with the proclamation of the head-wing ideology. I am proclaiming this to the world as a solution to the world's deadlock.

Forty-three years ago, and even long before that, I had this head-wing concept in mind, knowing, however, that I would have to make it prosper and work under great persecution. I have been moving forward under incredible suffering and persecution all these years without stumbling, without being diverted, without being discouraged -- and now what has happened?

I have come in the nick of time to the dawning of a new day. A new sunrise has just come. The only opposition has been coming from what we call the establishment -- the established communists, the established humanists, the established religionists. However, I have not been neglecting the establishment -- the Cain element -- even while knowing that the younger generation is coming to my side. This is why I have been working with the academic community, the media, political and social organizations, ministers and religious leaders, and retired military personnel.

Now that our foundation is so firm and sound, I don't have to work anymore. I could take a big nap! Through the momentum we have established by my direction and initiative, the world will automatically advance onward like a locomotive, moving on and on and on. Ultimately, the world will come under the correct order. That is the reality now. The final vision has been set.

Even though I have been working for a long time, I just recently proclaimed the head-wing ideology because the time has only now ripened to receive it. So what is this head wing, actually? Head wing comes under Godism, the absolute God-centered ideology, which I proclaimed at the Washington Monument rally. The head-wing concept even penetrates all the way to the spirit world.

When you address secular humanists about head wing, they are simply flabbergasted: "That is the most refreshing idea. We can accept that." When you approach religious people, talk about Godism. Then they will say, "Aha! That's it. That is our unifying goal. " So you can see, you have an ideological weapon to deal with all fields.

Head wing is a concept or ideology that involves man and the creation, while Godism involves the spirit. With head wing and Godism together, the spirit and body become totally united and perfected. Unificationism brings these noble ideologies together into one unified working system.

How can we bring this unification about? With God! We must begin from the origin, the center, because God is the source of love, power, and energy. Through God, the unity of all these things will become a reality. In our Unification Church way of life, God has become a living reality.

You are always living a God-centered way of life whatever you do, 24 hours a day. If you try to stray from that God-centered way, chastisement from the spirit world, in the form of revelations and dreams and indemnity, will always come to push you back to the center. It is amazing. God is real in our life every day. The Unification Church way of life is the vertical way of life.

Therefore, when you are moving, you are not actually moving by yourself. You are pulling your entire ancestral line along with you on a string. All the spirit world is connected to you. If you stray somewhere, the string says, "Come back," and pulls you back to the center. It is our privilege in the Unification Church that the spirit world has the power to influence our actions here on earth.

In nature there are electromagnetic waves. To receive a broadcast, you have to tune your radio to that particular wavelength or vibration; otherwise, you can't receive it. The Unification Church is now completely attuned to the spirit world. Furthermore, you are not just tuned in to their vibrations; you are becoming broadcasters yourselves.

You are actually the ones sending out the signals. You can create short wave, medium wave, long wave, and AM and FM signals; you can send out as much as needed in all directions. You have that foundation here on earth, based on True Parents' victory. Therefore, if you want to summon an individual in the spirit world, just name the person: "Mr. So-and-So, come down and help me. St. Paul, come down, I need your help." And he will come down. You can call upon such assistance -- a whole family, a unit, a tribe, or whatever requirements you need -- and it will be instantly provided.

That's why sometimes, when you think you are moving to the left, you find that you are moving to the right. You can't see them, but two spirit men on each side of you are lifting you up. You don't even have to walk! Spirit men will take you along. Do you believe this? This is not a class on superstition; this is logical and scientific.

The common goal of the spirit world, of all religions, and of all people in history is the perfection of men and women. Throughout history, God has had only one thing on His mind: He wants to restore human beings to the original models of perfection. Therefore, all existing schools of thought, such as materialism and humanism, are actually components of human perfection. These philosophies are pulling together men and women to be not only spiritually perfect, but physically perfect. The physical aspects of man are also God's creation. God does not deny the material.

We are living in the computer age. All you have to do is push a button, and the machine whirs and everything is printed out instantly. To have a computer printout available, however, somebody has to input the data. A human being is like a computer. If you push the body's button, the data will come out. But the data has to already be inside. You must become men and women who are constantly receiving data from God--His spirit, His truth, and His love. Then when your button is pushed, out will come the truth, the love, and the spirit of God.

Whatever you put into your mind in your daily life -- what kind of thoughts you think, what kind of motivation you have, what kind of truth you speak, what kind of love you practice -- all that will appear on your screen. I always teach from the Principle that the individual level must expand to the family, tribal, national, world, and cosmic levels.

I am giving you all the data on all levels so you can program it into yourselves. When God pushes someone's button, He can see from the picture on the screen, "Oh, that person is at the national level. Pretty good." Or, "Oh, he never even got beyond the family level." And so on.

I am always telling you members of the Unification Church that you must live for the sake of the world; you must be citizens in service to the world. But if God pushed the worldwide button, not many Unification Church members would light up on the screen -- in fact, it would be a total blackout. That is a failure. You have put no data in. As you can see, when you go up the scale, the number of qualified people at each level becomes smaller and smaller, like a pyramid. Do you think your body is capable of receiving the universal data; is there enough room?

Every computer has a database consisting of so many millions of megabits. How many megabits do you have? The human body has an infinite capacity to receive all kinds of data that God and myself ask you to input. Do you have the capability of receiving it all? Modern technology can create a computer chip that contains an incredible number of megabits. How many more megabits can be contained in a human computer created by God? Shouldn't we be able to receive millions and billions of megabits of information, spiritual as well?

God is always testing us. Every morning he pushes the cosmic button to see how many Moonies show up on His screen. The computer starts humming and vibrating, trying to come out with something, but nobody shows up. The computer is vibrating violently, so at least God can see that His children are thinking about the universal level, even though no one is quite able to appear on the screen. What if God pushed Rev. Moon's buttons? What do you think would happen? Like piano keys, every one of them would ring out loudly, all the way to the very highest. Wouldn't you like to be like that, too?

God made human beings to be the perfect computers. God created in us the most comfortable dwelling place for Himself so that all His data can be housed. That is why we are called the temples of God. But when He pushes your button, the screen shows all kinds of odd configurations -- no regular or beautiful images, only ugly shapes and sharp corners. In many cases, your computer is just humming, still trying to figure out the data, but nothing appears.

Even God's computer can't understand you. But I have taught you the correct input, so you have no excuse. Your God-like image is supposed to be showing up crystal clear. Each one of you is God's broadcasting station. God would like to broadcast His heart and love and truth directly through you.

Compared to the sophistication of humans, a computer is a primitive device. These instruments are being invented because they take after the human image. Someday we will invent a television set that will pick up the spiritual world. When that type of television camera focuses on you, it will show your individual spiritual body.

Also, other spirit men will appear on the screen as a group of people always walking together with you. Who are they? If you are just thinking about your own clan, then you will receive only ancestral assistance, nothing more. But when you become a person of universal good will and are thinking about the whole world, striving towards the highest possible ideals and even worrying about God Himself, the highest spirit world will come down to assist you.

All people, whether they come from the U.S., from Germany, or from France, have at least one thing in common: They all love me. They love me simply because my concentration upon the ideal and my way of life are transcendent of all denominations, races, and national boundaries. Therefore, the entire spirit world is united in wanting to come and help me. The saints and patriots of American history are all coming down now, trying to push every right-minded person on the face of the earth in my direction.

For the last 43 years, people in the spirit world have been helping me, but I have been bringing them to the lowest possible level, to the bottom of human existence. There, the hope of salvation must be planted. Only then can they work their way upward. I myself started from the very lowest level of the physical world and came into ultimate union with the highest level of the spirit world.

I want each one of you, particularly you national leaders, to understand that you must have total confidence. You have the largest army ever mobilized in history. Behind you are millions of spirits waiting to carry out your marching orders as soon as you give them. Therefore, all you missionaries of the world must be engaged in some kind of project on a national scale. Then you must issue marching orders to the spirit army. If you can demonstrate that you are working sacrificially and exceeding them in devotion, incredible help will materialize.

If you don't do that, then you will pay a penalty; the closest members of your family and the Unification movement itself will have to pay the price.

Some of the elder members of the Unification Church will die of cancer; I have been predicting this. Unless you do your external mission well, then you will have to pay the indemnity internally. Now that the nation and the world are in the midst of an emergency, it is totally unacceptable for any individual to do things for his own selfish benefit, trying to gain something for himself or for his family. It is contradictory to God's will, for which God will undoubtedly unleash His punishment.

Today on earth, an effort towards creating unity is being made even among communists, materialists, humanists, and all other segments of human society.

At the same time, the spirit world is unleashing its power toward unification, coming down on the individual, tribal, and worldwide levels. The question I have for each of you is, How much have you done to connect yourself to different nationalities and races? You must create your own foundation upon which people of all races -- black, white, brown, red, and yellow -- as well as saints of all the different religions can come down and assist you. If you love only your own race or religion, you are totally isolating yourself from the rest of the community.

The time will come when spiritual intervention will be so intense, so serious, that anyone trying to speak ill against me or the Unification Church won't be physically able to. A person will open his mouth and say, "Mmmmmm," trying to say the word "Moon," but before he can finish pronouncing the word something will happen to him. His throat muscles will tighten and he will collapse. That time will come.

You would like to see that happen right away, wouldn't you? I have taken the initiative as the central figure of the universe. I have made a God-centered foundation in the academic field, the social services field, the religious field, the media field -- a foundation that no government can tear down. At the same time I have a special emissary in the spirit world -- Heung Jin -- who has broken the boundaries that have been confining the kings and queens in the spirit world. These kings and queens have always wanted to find the true kings and queens. Who are they? Unification Church members! In their eyes, you blessed couples are the royalty.

Right now there is a lot of confusion in the spirit world. No real organization can take place before the True Parents go there. When True Parents become the central figures, from that point on, all organization can begin. You will be important figures in that organization, because you are part of the True Parents. In the Kingdom of Heaven there will be a contest for the selection of the kings and queens. How can you be selected? By acting like a beggar, a wanderer, a stranger? No. Your job is to imitate me. You've got to receive and live my ideal.

Since 1965 I have been traveling all over the world. I have been preparing over 40 different nations to receive spiritual assistance. I carried Korean soil to those 40 countries in order to create holy grounds. Centering on Korea, I want to link the entire world as one community -- one physical community, one spiritual community. It took me 22 years to do this because I was the only pioneer. During those 22 years I broke down all the barriers; now there is no door that is not open to us. All you have to do is go in; the stage is ready. Become the central figure of that stage and act upon it.

The spiritual elements have to be linked to the physical elements. This is now ready to occur. All members are being assigned to the home church mission. When you connect to your 360 homes, the prepared spiritual forces can receive their marching orders and come down and become integrated with the physical forces in your area.

In America, when you visit your 360 homes, 120 countries are represented there. When you are working in your home church area, you are dealing with a small world. You will meet people of all characters--stern German people, arrogant British people, clever French people, romantic Italian people, talkative Spanish people. By doing home church, you are linking yourselves to the universal community--where there are no boundaries between races or nations. Then when you enter into the spirit world, you will be free to travel, free to communicate, free to have give and take with all races.

In the spirit world, you need not worry about food, shelter, clothing, or any such thing. The only important thing to do in the spirit world is to participate in God's banquet and experience the joy of celebration centering upon God. Every source of happiness -- every joy, fulfillment, and reward -- is there. Your happiness will be determined by how close and how intimate your relationship with God is. Your joy will be in spending time with the True Parents. Anyone who participates in True Parents' banquet is the closest to Heaven.

The amazing thing is this: You don't have to be issued an invitation to come to the banquet. Your spiritual vibration automatically determines whether you are qualified to enter the hall. Those who are not qualified automatically retreat, because it is such a pain to be there. Suppose a worthy person is far away in the countryside holding onto a fence, and he does not want to come. What will happen? When the banquet begins, that person's whole house will be moved; he and the house and the fence will all automatically come to the banquet!

The spiritual light is ahead of you. You are now with Satan, so I am pushing you ruthlessly, because I would like you to deserve such things, such a place. When you give up your physical body, eternity opens up. All of a sudden you hit a stone wall and you see where you were wrong. How grateful you should be that you know me while you are still on earth! I want to give you the best blessing so that you can be totally free to move in the spirit world without any boundaries or barriers.

Once you have come to the level of the spirit world I am describing, wherever you go you will never be a stranger, because I have already set the right conditions. You will even be able to become intimately close to a person on the other side of the world. This is inevitable, because the spirit world is already one country, one system, one nation, one unified world. The physical world will absolutely become one world under God, eventually. There is no way out. We, therefore, are the pioneers, the harbingers, to proclaim one world under God.

What percentage of my vision do you think will be fulfilled? Zero percent or 100 percent? How do you know? I may be the world's worst swindler. You know because of your actual, physical experiences. You know because you've tried this way of life out, and what I am saying absolutely works in your daily life. When you apply my principle, what I predict occurs.

When Heung Jin ascended into heaven, I precisely described why the ascension occurred, where the position of Heung Jin is in spirit world, what he is going to do there, and God's dispensation concerning him. Virtually no one believed me. They thought I was trying to make his death look good and the air smell sweet. Today, several years later, you are receiving direct communication from him--in Europe, in Asia, in America. Now you know that what I said was absolutely true.

I want you to know that without the spirit world's help, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth cannot be a reality. And the Kingdom of Heaven on earth cannot even begin without True Parents. True Parents are the beginning point of everything. I alone can ignite the spirit world to come down and assist you. With the help of the spirit world, the Kingdom of God will become a reality.

In the original creation, God created men and women with the assistance of the angels. The fall of the archangelic world was a disaster, so in restoration I have to restore that failure by mobilizing the spirit world, which is the angelic realm.

Right now many spirit men are listening to my words -- they are so joyful, so hopeful, so full of vision. But when I look at you, I see how skeptical you are inside. You are still not believing, you are not even taking this seriously. What miserable people! Spirit world is lamenting because of you.

What if I told the spirit world, "Look at all these Unification Church leaders. They're no good anymore! Get rid of them and bring 600 new ones." They would obey me right away. But why don't I do that? Because I have worked with you, paid indemnity with you, prayed with you, cried with you, worried with you. I want to save our foundation. If I sent you away, I would have to begin again from the very bottom. Besides, if others came to replace you, there is no guarantee they would be any better! So I have to deal with you.

But you are lucky in a way. I am going to hold you tight and do everything to inspire you and remake you so that you will become new creatures. Is the spirit world far away? Is the spirit world on the outside of your body or the inside? [Father speaks in English. ] It is inside your body, so the mind can't stop, can't take rest. You have to work hard, more and more and more, all day long, day and night. You know that. The mind is always commanding you. God wants to pierce through your mind. God wants you to listen to my words, follow my words. That's the absolute standard.

Your mind will always say to you, "Please work hard." It doesn't come from outside, but inside your mind. You have the absolute order. You have the absolute master and teacher who represents God always. You know that clearly. No excuse. When you pass into the spirit world, you will see that your spiritual body is the reflection of your mind, exactly. The spiritual body is the mind. So God knows how your mind is, automatically. God should be at the center of your spiritual mind.

How much influence God has on you will reflect in your spirit body, automatically. The spiritual body is a reflection of the mind. They're parallel. So you can't open your mouth to complain there. Remember this point: Only follow my course. Human life is so serious. I know about this kind of phenomena in spirit world. That is why I am working against the enemy, no matter how hard it gets, standing on the front line, taking this kind of path. You must go through my life history. You have to follow that course. No matter what excuses you have, you have to follow the course -- your spiritual mind course, your spiritual body course. They are one, not two.

[Father resumes in Korean.] You carry the spirit world upon your head, upon your bosom, upon your back, everywhere. You are with the spirit world, in the spirit world. You cannot escape that reality. Since I always have the spirit world with me, no matter where I go I am always dignified, always confident, even if the American government tries to oppose me.

I'm not worried, because the spirit world is bigger than the U.S.A. I am making the most extraordinary and incredible statements. When the CIA, the FBI, and the American government hear these, they are completely shocked. I am challenging them. You should be like that too. Go ahead--the spirit world is on your side. What do you have to fear? You should have no shame at any time, even sitting on the toilet.

You can be sitting on the toilet and saying, "God, I am making a resolution." When you are pushing your energy down to expel the waste out of your body, and exclaiming "Ummmmmmm!" as it goes out, you can say, "God, I just felt the spirit of restoration! I know You will feel this good when restoration is completed." Will God say, "You must be ashamed to call my name in the bathroom!" God would not say that. The bathroom is Satan's territory, but I can proclaim it to be the Kingdom of Heaven. I can call the name of God inside the bathroom, because God is never apart from me.

Like me, you are to have dominion over all things. You have to be gutsy men and women. You have to have the guts to proclaim even to Satan, "Come over here. You've got to surrender and follow me." Call the spirit world and say, "Come down right now. I am now moving in this direction. I'm giving you orders to create this path for me, so march!"

After this conference, go forward to your missions with a central figure's confidence. You are the subjects of every situation. You can command the spirit world, you can command the national situation, you can command the whole environment. With that kind of courageous feeling, representing True Parents, go forward and carry out my mission. You've got to have absolute confidence that what I have pronounced shall be done.

When I came to America and made my first step on this land, I made a pledge to be the central figure of this nation and gain the support of the entire patriotic spirit world. I had absolute confidence that this would be done.

I know you have your own textbooks of patriotism, but I am not going to follow your textbook. I am going to create a new textbook of patriotism. I cannot return to my own country without establishing such a formula, such a result. Now that work has been done.

We are working under the same God, the same spirit world; there is no reason you cannot gain as much result as I do. The reason why you aren't is simply because there is still some selfishness remaining within you. You have not been able to get out of your self-centeredness. That is why God and the spirit world cannot work fully with you.

A new age is dawning. Tomorrow will be the Holy Wedding of Hyun Jin. Even though he is young, 18, the reason I am doing this is because I am marking a new age before the end of March. I am completing the number eight. The family of Noah will be restored in the True Parents' family when six of my children have been blessed. With True Parents on both sides, that makes eight. By this Holy Wedding, the entire world will be in the position to welcome the True Parents' family.

From now on, the Unification Church will blossom and bloom. The spirit world is determined to make this happen. So far, the spirit world has been reserved because it has been waiting for a certain foundation to be laid. Even though the spirit world has always been trying to expand the Unification Church movement, it has only brought more burden to me. But now, the spirit world is happy to see the foundation is being firmly laid.

When you go back to your missions this time, only good things will happen. This new head-wing concept, the concept of Godism, will be the most exciting, dramatic, and extraordinary thing anyone has ever heard. You now have this weapon to take with you. I am going to send you back out right away, because good things are waiting for you out there in your mission areas. Within one month's time, you are going to feel an incredibly different atmosphere. I would like to let you go now and commit yourselves, so that with new results you can come back to me for our next meeting.

Within several month's time, all kinds of incredible situations will develop in all 50 states of America. Now you cannot be defeated by opposition. You cannot be pushed away. You are the fighters. You are going to fight your battle with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul. Breathe in the spring air and look at the new heaven and earth. My springtime is now here; God's springtime is now here, also. You must feel it to your bones.

This year you have heard the most important proclamation: that of the inauguration of the 'headwing'. The headwing is like the head, controlling the whole body. This terminology comes originally from the time of the crucifixion of Jesus. There was the thief on the left and the thief on the right.. Actually, like both arms, both left and right are needed. We need both arms to harmonize and join together to embrace the world.

If we look at history, we can see that leadership was first monarchic and imperialistic, then it became more socialistic. The political system has been developing. The monarchic system organized the masses. Next came the democratic system. This brings the power of the 'high' down to the masses. Communism brings the power of the masses up through to the few at the top. This is the trend of world history.

Communist countries today are having to be more lenient and are leaning more to the west in order to survive. This can be seen in China and Russia.

Religions at one time governed the world. For example the time of the Roman empire. However, absolute power always corrupt. Those in power segregated themselves from the majority of the people. The reaction to this was that there came anti-religious, and anti-God sentiments. This took form in the rationalistic and the humanistic movements.

Democracy is more an intellectual oriented movement that begins at the grass roots level. It was aimed at protecting human dignity and human rights. The democratic system is based philosophically on man, not on God. So human rights are the central issues and concern in the democratic society. Therefore it is a natural tendency for it to tend toward humanism, and toward accommodation of secular desires, and even the more carnal desires. Wealthy democratic societies do not see any great vision. They observe the tendency of society toward socialism, so they respond with an attitude "let's spend and have a good time." Their total interest is in self-centered pleasure. They manipulate their money and assets beyond national and even legal boundaries to augment their personal situation. They rarely have ideals of patriotism. Their center of concern is themselves. Because of this they pursue artificial, carnal desires, and they pay little or no heed to moral principles. They involve themselves in drugs and sex. The democratic world has come to a dead end. They have no vision and without a vision, it must perish.

Communism arose out of a noble vision and desire, but the method was neither. The power of the masses is funneled through to the few who have absolute power, and again this absolute power absolutely corrupts.

Therefore both the democratic and the communistic worlds are reaching a dead-end. Each has no solution. The leaders of both worlds are coming to their own realization that their way and ideology is inadequate for ruling the world.

But an extraordinary phenomenon is occurring. Neither have the solution, both are reaching a deadlock, but their children are seeing that the way of their parents is not the answer. So the children of the communists are looking at democracy, and those in democratic society are looking at communism. They see the corruption that exists within their own worlds. However, the democratic youth are realizing that communism is not the answer either, and communist youth are looking for alternatives to communism.

So the youth are also in a deadlock. They cannot see solutions, and they are waiting to find a new vision, a new alternative. The democratic world thought they had the world, but they lost their children. The communists also thought they had the world, but they too lost their children.

The time has come to find some workable solution for the world, This has to be through the emergence of a new, a brand new element. People are itching for this new mystical solution, they are longing to find a new solution, and it will be one centered upon God.

Imperialism, democracy and communism have all emerged at various times in history, and they have all failed. Now, a combination, a digested combination of all these must come together centered on a strong central element. Absolutely, the time has come for the emergence of a new 'ism' to emerge at a global level, one that can digest all. It must be a new religious principle and movement must come to embrace and organize all these into one harmonized system. This is where the Unification Church is to emerge, to proclaim the emergence of the headwing. This must be a unity of spirit, body and material. There have been three major 'isms' as the bases of government throughout history: theistic imperialism, humanistic democracy, and materialistic communism. These have prospered and then failed. But which one should be the central figure for the unity of these three? It has to be the spiritual/mind. But what kind of spiritual mind? It needs to be the highest possible spiritual mind. It has to be a mind that is not the slave of history, but one that is transcendent of history. The new 'ism' must be transcendent of history and geography, one that is timeless and beyond space; one that is eternal.

One of the several key problems is the racial problem. But how are we to solve this? There is also the problem of division, spiritual division and secular humanism. Therefore the new solution of the world must be a global solution. Religion also must reach out to the global community. These are some of the concepts of the headwing. Its philosophy transcends that of race, nation or religion. The Unification Church is embracing both the left and the right wings, and is bringing both to the highest ideal. We must not simply move to the left or the right. We must go up, beginning at the bottom in the humble position. The Unification Church has the substance and the ability needed to digest both the left and the right, plus move from the bottom and connect to the top, centering upon spiritual standards. In other words, the Unification Church must be a mega-religion, a supra-religion. We must have the contents and ability to digest and be able to consummate the highest ideal. Therefore the qualification of the Unification Church is that it creates the models, the "man for all season." So, for example, the communists should say, "These Moonies would make great communists, the only problem is that they believe in God." Humanists should be able to say, "Moonies are truly humanitarian, the problem is that they believe in God and high morals." The religious should say of Moonies, "They are most devout, I wish he were a Buddhist/Moslem/Catholic/etc, but he's a Moonie." God should say, "He/she fits into the exact formula. I take this person as my son/daughter. This is my model person."

Such people have to have a sound head, sound left arm, sound right arm, around two legs, in other words, be perfect. If there was a human museum, Moonies should occupy the "ideal" section. This is the headwing concept. Moonies have the ability to digest communism, socialism, religions and God by True Love. When you look at an overview of history, you can see that this is the highest ideal.

For more than forty three years, Father had this ideal. But how to make it work was perhaps the biggest problem. He's been moving toward this, and now we move toward the dawn of a new day. Those who oppose Father are the established groups: the established democrats, the established communists, and the established religions. But their children are coming to Father.

Father's strategy is that he does not neglect the established, the Cain elements. Therefore he has been working for years with the academics, the world's religions, the media, the politicians, and the retired military people. Father wants to convert the Cain into Abel, to convert them all to headwing, and ultimately into "Father's sons."

From America, West Germany, Korea and Japan, came the most vigorous opposition, but all this has melted away. The foundation that was required to melt this opposition has been laid. Most recently Father proclaimed the formation of the headwing, because the time is now ripe. The headwing comes under Godism. Godism was first proclaimed at the Washington Monument rally, and there it penetrated into the spiritual world. Now the spiritual world is harmonized through and with this concept.

Now, when we address materialists and secular humanists, we can talk about the headwing. How refreshing! When we talk to religious people, we can talk about Godism. Therefore we have ways of talking to all people. 'Headwing' and 'Godism' are interchangeable. This new terminology allows us to effectively relate to the entire spectrum of people.

The headwing philosophically embraces the concepts that deal with the whole person; and Godism comes especially from the perspective of spirit. So together, Unificationism is a system that makes a workable unity of all things.

Therefore Unification Church members are waiting to walk into any territory, for we are equipped for everything. How can we bring unity? We have to begin with God. From God, unity can become a reality. When you move away from God as the center for your life and activities, your conscience, spirit world, indemnity and dreams come to you and start to push you back. The Unification Church way of life is a vertical way of life. When you move, you pull that vertical string that is attached to your ancestors. So when you move, all your ancestors move with you. This is our privilege, that spirit world has the power to influence those on earth.

Like a radio, however, we have to tune into the spiritual world. The Unification Church members have to be attuned to the spiritual world. We even have to become dynamos so we are actually sending out signals. After all, who is subject, spirit world or those in the physical world? We are the broadcasters. We can send out short wave, medium wave, or whatever is needed. We are the initiators. We can call on the spiritual world.

We have a foundation such that when we summon individuals in the spiritual world, they will come. If you call one of your ancestors in the spiritual world, he will come to assist you. Whatever you need, their assistance will come. (Sometimes you don't even have to walk, for two spirit men will carry you! Do you believe that?)

The goal of spirit world is the completion and perfection of men and women. Throughout history, God has had but one plan: to perfect people according to the original plan of God. All the 'isms' are a part of the plan and need to be drawn into a united plan. Materialism is but an aspect of that plan, for God does not deny the physical or material world.

Considering computers: to get a printout, you need input, like the mind. The human body is akin to a computer: to get something out of it, you must have input, and for people, that input must come from God. We need the input of God's truth, love and spirit. Then when we push the "printout" button, something can come out. If Father was to push Dennis Orme's button, we would see what kind of input of mind and heart he has, for the result of that input will come out on the screen of life. Father is always teaching us that we have to work at many level: the individual, family, clan, tribe, nation, world, and cosmic levels. Father is giving you the data so that when God pushes your button, He can see what level you are at. If God pushes Dennis Orme's family level button, it will show up OK, and the clan level OK, but what about the tribe or the national levels? Do they show a blank, with only white noise? What about the worldwide button? Not too many Moonies show up when the worldwide button us pushed. The number of people whose names show up at the lower levels are great, and the numbers diminish as we go to the higher and higher levels, like a pyramid.

The body has megabyte storage capabilities. Even human ingenuity has created machines with megabyte storage capabilities. God has created in humankind, the ability to store and deal with millions and millions of megabytes, and to deal with spiritual aspects as well. God is always pushing the cosmic level button to see who will show up, but the computer only makes a sound, a white noise, and shows nothing.

If Reverend Moon's buttons are pushed one after the other from individual to cosmic levels, its like playing a piano, something shows up each time. When your buttons are pushed, perhaps you only get odd shapes and sounds. God can't even figure you out. Yet you have no excuse. Father taught you, and gave you the correct input. Each one is the broadcasting station of the heart, love and truth of God. What kind of being are you? Who are you?

Compared to human beings, computers are primitive but they take after human beings. Soon there will be monitors that will form pictures of spiritual beings. You'll be able to see the spirit people in the room.

If you only think of your own clan, only that spirit world will come down to help you. When you think of good will to all humankind, then all the spirit world can come down to help you. Father's life is transcendent of all races nations and so they can all connect and help Father. If you call on the American saints, they will come down and relate to all the like-minded people on earth and influence people in Father's direction. This is what Father has been doing. He works not only in the top levels of the spiritual world. In fact he started working at the bottom, working up and bringing them all into ultimate unity. Now the globe is the stage for the providence, for we are working in the worldwide level of the dispensation. There are no compartments and no limits to what we can do.

You must have total confidence that you have the largest army in spirit world waiting for you to give them marching orders. They are ready to be mobilized (especially you national leaders). The missionaries must be engaged in national projects, then incredible help will come to you and materialize. If you don't do that, penalties will come. Those in your close family and others close to you will pay the price. Elder members, especially thirty-six blessed couples, will die of cancer when you do not accomplish the external mission well. So if you don't do the external mission, you will pay indemnity internally.

Negotiation efforts are being made on the earth to establish peace. Also in the spiritual world, there is an unleashing of power to bring unity on the face of the earth. But how much have you done to connect yourself with different nations? You must go beyond the racial, national and religious boundaries. You need to create your own foundation such that all parts of spirit world, all races, all nations, and all religions can come down and assist you.

Father's mission is consummated. If there had been no fall, there would have been absolute freedom of give and take between the spiritual world and the physical world. Now because of Father's work, the barriers are torn down.

Yesterday I mentioned that you have to work in four nations. You have to be able to go beyond four enemy nations, breaking down the enemy barriers, and sprinkling the seeds of love.

The time will come when all those who even try to speak ill of Father will not be able to do so. Their mouths will be stopped before they can even get the whole word "Moon" out, (but this time is not quite yet even though you wish it were).

We have to remember that we are the subject over the spiritual world. So we have to initiate, we have to be the ones to orchestrate their activities. Father has laid the foundation with academics, with the media, religions, and so on, and no-one can destroy this foundation. The CIA, the FBI, no-one can tear or shake this foundation. Father has even sent a special emissary to the spiritual world, Heung Jin Nim. He is tearing down all the barriers, especially those that exist between the kings, queens and leaders of nations. Actually, the kings and queens in the spiritual world are looking for, and wanting the true kings and queens, and these are the blessed couples.

If you are from Spanish origins, you can become a Spanish patriarch in the spiritual world. Now there is much confusion in the spiritual world. For there to be order and organization in the spirit world, this can only begin with True Parents. Therefore because you belong to the True Parents, you are important central figures in the establishment of such organization in the Kingdom of Heaven.

If you are to look from the point of view of the spiritual world, there is no way to avoid being judged as a person of dignity or as being like a beggar. So to truly take your place as a central figure for your ancestors, tribe and nation, you cannot act like a beggar.

You have to have a clear concept in your mind. This is most important. You have to completely revolutionize your concept. It has to be like Father's ideal. Your job is to imitate Father. Father has had to pioneer the way, opening up the way at every level. But you have a highway provided for you by Father. All you have to do is run along it. How can you say you cannot do this? It is so easy compared to what Father had to do.

Beginning back in 1965, Father has been visiting many nations, and there launching victories. All we have to do is become the central figures of the stage. Father went to all the nations in 1965, carrying some Korean stones and dirt with him to create a link between Korea and all these nations, a link that is both physical and spiritual. In the last twenty two years, Father has been breaking down all the barriers between these nations. Now all the doors are opened to the forty countries. Father took twenty two year, but you should not take very long.

Unless Father sent people out in four different directions, you would not get out of your American frame of mind and view of things. Father also wants to emphasize that the spiritual world has to be linked to the physical world. We have to integrate the physical and the spiritual forces. The spiritual forces can be mobilized and integrated through the Home Church providence. In America when you visit your 360 homes, you will find all elements of the world in this one area. America is a melting pot, and each Home Church area is a part of it. So when you deal with Home Church, you deal with a small world. You deal with the arrogant English, the romantic Italians, the intelligent French, the talkative Spanish, and so on. When you have established this foundation, you are free to travel to all places in the spiritual world, and you can call on many areas in the spiritual world. They are ready to come down, but you have to take the initiative. This is your responsibility.

Do you know this? (Father addresses Ph.D. graduate, Tyler Hendricks. Tyler responds after thinking, "Yes.") This is the difference between the Japanese and the Westerners. When a Japanese member is asked, he immediately responds, "Hai." Later he thinks about it. He starts to do, and figures things out as he is doing it, changing and improving things along the way. The westerner, however responds, "W-e-l-l . . . ." When Father hears this he thinks of a well, a well spring of water in which the person gets stuck. Father wants a new definition of "well": get going, get your feet wet, but don't get stuck, and move on."

Father has tested out every avenue of thought. He has looked at all ways of thinking. This is the diagnosis that he has come up with. If his diagnosis is correct, is the prescription correct? You don't have to evaluate it, do it and leave the evaluation to the historians. You just get out and do it. Now 'well' means to run, not jump into a deep trap. The Japanese prosper because they find something that works, they use that as a model, they don't think about it, they just get out and do it. They figure out the improvements as they go.

You are the imitation of the True Parents. Become the kings and queens, and mobilize the spiritual world. There is no room for racists. There is no room for humanists. There is no room for denominationalists or separatists. There is only room for Unificationists.

Are you the leaders of the Unification Church? You should pity Father that he has to depend upon you, and talk to you. He should have the opportunity to speak to all the leaders and kings and queens. He should only speak to you if you have such spirit. Father is pushing you because he wants you to have the label of kings and queens, and he wants you to be worthy of it.

If you elevate into the spirit world where you don't have to worry about food, clothing, sleep, and shelter, the only important thing is to participate in God's events, banquets for God. For every source of happiness is there in the relationship with God. What will you do with all that time? Joyfully spending time with True Parents will be what you will want to be able to do. Therefore those who are at the banquet are the closest to Heaven.

In the spirit world, there is no such thing as an invitation. The vibrations you put out are your automatic invitation. If you are not qualified, it will be so painful for you to be there that you will naturally leave. Only the worthy persons will come. That kind of spiritual life is ahead of you. No-one will escape such a world. Father wants you to experience this, he wants you to be worthy of experiencing the highest joy, that is why he pushes you.

Absolutely you will loose your earthly life one day. Father wants to give you the best blessing: to be able to move freely in the spiritual world, move without barriers. Therefore we must be grateful to Father.

Spirit world is already one unit (even if the order within it is confused), and the physical world will also absolutely become one orderly world under God. We are the pioneers, the harbingers of such a world. This will eventually come, there is no way to avoid this reality.

Do you think that there are some people who have special privileges? Do you think that Bo Hi Pak has special privileges working so closely with Father, being his translator, and seeing him all the time? (Some say 'No!' others say 'Yes!') What about a mathematical formula, and the ability of a student to use this formula correctly? Do you think that just because a student is friends with a professor that he can get special ability to do math, and get special grades? No. It is the same for Bo Hi Pak, and others.

There are three generations of Adam: the first Adam, Jesus, the second Adam, and the LSA, the third Adam. Similarly, we must work with three generations, with grandparents, with parents and with children.

If you listen to Father, what kind of chance do you think there is to make the kingdom of heaven a reality? Maybe Father is the world's worst swindler. But from your experiences and from your knowledge of the world around you, you know that this is not so, that in fact Father speaks the truth. But unless you live by it, you cannot know whether it is the truth or not.

Father described precisely, years ago, all about the significance of Heung Jin Nim's ascension, why he went, what he is to do and what he is doing. People said and felt that Father was just making it sound good, making it smell sweet and clean like a lemon. But now people are realizing that what Father said was actually true. People are receiving messages and dreams that validate what Father said.

I want you to know that without spirit world, there will be no kingdom of heaven on earth, and without True Parents, there will be no kingdom of heaven on earth. Father alone can ignite spirit world, and with the help of spirit world, the kingdom of heaven will become a reality. Right now, spirit world is listening to Father and they are all looking at us. They see you all, some sleeping, thinking critically, observing without excitement. They see that. We have to fully realize that spirit world is limited by us. Perhaps they think that I should just liquidate all these Unification Church leaders. If I did, and if I gave them the mandate to come up with another room full of leaders, they would do it. So why doesn't Father do this? Because we have worked together, we have sweated together, and Father wants to save this foundation. If you were all wiped out, we would have to start by establishing a new foundation. There would also be no guarantee that all the other secular leaders would do a better job. So Father has to deal with you. He has to try to remake you.

Where is spirit world? Is it far away? Is it inside your body? Your mind doesn't stop, day or night. That's how close spirit world is, you know this. Day and night spirit world is active, and it is active in your mind. How can you sleep?

Take action. Follow Father's words, follow his absolute standard, and don't bother with questions. Be my people. Always spirit world will come to your mind. You have to follow the absolute master and teacher . . . God. Your mind is where you experience the spiritual world. There you must experience love. You have to influence the spiritual world through your mind. Human life is very serious. You must know the phenomenon of the spiritual world, and you must realize that the physical and the spiritual worlds exist in parallel. Our way is the way of faith. This is our destiny. We have no excuse, for we know this, our mind knows this. Our minds cannot go two ways, only one way. You must have Father's kind of mind and standard. (Father was speaking in English. Dr. Pak thanks him for the break and continues.) So know you have to learn Korean.

You are carrying the spiritual world with you. You cannot escape it. By realizing you have the spirit world always there, you can be confident in all that you do, and also feel the need to act with dignity. Father is always dignified, and has confidence no matter where he is. He has this sense of spirit world, and of eternity. Father hopes the CIA, the FBI and the American government are listening, and he challenges them to be like this too.

If the spiritual world is on your side, what have you to fear? You should have no shame. Even if you are upside down in the toilet basin, you should have no shame. While sitting on the toilet, as you brace yourself and push out your waste, you can determine and feel that this is the spirit of restoration. Even in the bathroom, you can proclaim your determination to build the kingdom of heaven.

Father often uses harsh words against Americans, and he feels no shame or regret simply because he tells the truth! Father doesn't feel shame or fear because of the way he lives. You should also live this way so that you can speak the truth fearlessly in front of all people. Such men and women are dramatic people. Such gutsy people are the ones who say "God, I will take care of anything." When Father sent people to get their Ph.D.'s, their minds became like peanuts. They began to worry about their appearance, they were concerned about tiny little things. Their minds and thinking became so small. If you are to get Unification Church Ph.D.'s, you will have to take the most difficult tasks, and become strong, otherwise you become soft and weak, bystanders, parasites.

God created men and women with the assistance of the spiritual world, with the assistance of the archangels. Now during restoration, we need to proclaim to the spirit world that they are to help us. To recreate this world, we must call upon the assistance of the spiritual world which is in the archangel's position. The archangel brought about the fall of man, and we have to restore the proper position of the archangel.

You must become a central figure and subject of all situations. Be gutsy men and women, proclaiming even to Satan that he has to come and surrender. Call the spiritual world to come and accomplish certain projects. They are your army. Call them saying, "This is my plan, this is my path, clear the way." March forward, be bold and gutsy. This is our mandate.

You national leaders and God-chosen leaders, go forward with the idea of being a central figure, reign over the entire spirit world, over every situation and over your environment. Do this with a gutsy, confident feeling, and carry out Father's orders. Have absolute confidence that Father's direction are true and timely. Make things happen, mobilize the spiritual world and see the phenomenon as a result. I am recreating this world, join me and work with God and spirit world on our side. We have to help Father. Work with this view, this concept of creation, and help Father.

Do you have confidence to do this? If someone comes to kick you, don't run away, move forward, divert his energy and dominate the situation. When America attacked Father, did he run or shy away? No, he moved forward, and was even on the offensive. He went from Lincoln Center to Madison Square Garden, to Yankee Stadium and on to Washington Monument. He moved on and on. He never retreated. Even throughout the legal battle, he moved toward his aggressor. He returned to America, went into Danbury, and from there turned the world upside down. Now America is following behind Father. This is reality. Look and see.

Father has always lived according to a similar formula. His lifestyle, his daily life and thinking manifests this formula, he is always going forward. Do you follow Father? If you hesitate, you cannot survive, you cannot win. You have to make a straight path. How wonderful that is.

You can become a central figure for your nation, for your state, for your mission. Be a champion to mobilize the spirit world. Pledge before Father. If you pledge with confidence, God will be with you.

When Father first came to America, as he stepped onto the soil of America, he determined to become the central figure of this nation and the spirit world. He had absolute confidence that he would fulfill this course. Father discarded the old text books of patriotism, and created a new one. He created a new formula. He said he could not return to Korea without such a pattern and formula established in this country.

We are all working with the same God as Father is. We are all working with the same spirit world as Father is, so there is no reason why you should not gain the same results. The only thing that is altering the outcome is you, what's in you, and that is your selfishness. With this residue within you, God and spirit world cannot work with you.

Father just matched over one thousand couples in the last couple of days. During this time, his legs wanted to fold up, but Father just scolded them and told them to go on. Father is getting older now, but still he pushes himself on. How can you young ones do any less? If we cannot keep up with Father, you deserve heavenly punishment. You cannot rest, you cannot nap and waste time. The spirit world is wanting to work with you day and night. You cannot stop.

This is truly a new age. Tomorrow is Hyun Jin Nim's holy marriage. He is eighteen years old, and this marriage will mark the completion of a new age. The family of Adam and Noah will be complete. Therefore the entire world will be in a place to welcome the True Parents. From now on the movement will blossom. Spirit world is determined to make this movement blossom. Spirit world has been waiting for this foundation to be firmly laid. Now the target is the young people of twenty years and even eighteen years old. We are to remake them, recreate them. Today, many of the young people belong to the trash can. We are to recreate them. In the Old Testament, it speaks of the Valley of skeletons that will be turned into a heavenly army. This is what is going to happen with the young people. You have to get yourselves excited, full of bubbling enthusiasm. Your younger brothers and sisters are dying, most of them are little more than human trash. Open our doors, welcome them in. When you go back to your centers, you will see only good things happen.

The headwing is a great weapon. Extraordinary things will happen, you will see. There will be no reports today because only good things are going to happen. In the next month, you will feel a real difference. In seven (several?) months time, incredible things will happen in the states. Father's army is working with the established groups, so you go out and concentrate upon connecting with the young people.

The Africa group comes to East Garden and they get excited and enthusiastic about their mission. You cannot get behind them. Go and do your mission with all your heart and all your soul.
